Good morning everyone. It's been long I posted on Nairaland. I'm doing it today because of my health. I was looking for solution for my health online until I remembered how Nairaland used to be helpful during the days of my Ucler which I'm grateful now.

However, I have stooling problem I have been battling. I go to toilets at least 3 times a day, this is 6 weeks now since I have been stooling and it all started from when I treated malaria and typhoid.

Ever since I finished of Malaria and typhoid treatment, I noticed this unsual toilet and I was thinking it was going to stop in the beginning. I had to get some drugs myself, the one I'm used to anytime I noticed I have unusual toilet visit, I used the medicine for 3 days and it didn't stop. So I took myself to a big pharmacy, I complained to them and showed them the medicine I used and they were surprised it didn't work. They gave me another one, I went home to use it and I didn't see any improvement at all and then I decided to stop and went to General hospital.

I had card with them and went to see the doctor, I narrated everything to him and how I have been eating swallow food just to make stooling stop, there was a day I bought bread, ate half of it without drinking water, I added garri and drink it and yet the stooling was as if I never even ate something strong. I complained to him and he prescribed me some medicine to go and use. I went to outside pharmacy to get them and after 5 days the medicine was left for 2 days and no improvement and I was frustrated.

I went back to the hospital and I complained, I felt like crying. The doctor I met directed me to go and do stool test, I went to their lab made payment and I was told to wait for 3 day for my result. I went back to lab to get my result and show it to the doctor and the result shows I don't have anything, no bacterial, no parasite, nothing was found on my stool and I became even frustrated.

The doctor asked me if I have done injection before and I said No, he then wrote me some injection and medicine, he said I'm to be injected on my hand for 3 days and then I can continue with the medicine after. I was directed to the nurse, they gave me the injection for 3 days but yet there wasn't any signs of improvement. I was angry and went home to focus on the rest of the medicine and see what is going to happen but my mind wouldn't let me as I go to toilet 3 times a day on average and is watery, there was a day I stool 7 times in 24 hours.


I stood up one night and visited the pharmacy I went to earlier and explained everything to the owner of the pharmacy and he was surprised as well. He collected my blood sample and did some test and he said I don't have dihorea or any complications, he said that my intestine flora has been washed away due to abuse of Anti biotics, that my small intestine isn't doing it's job properly.

He said I needed to stop taking all anti biotics completely. He gave me a Probiotic and Bioflor to be using that it's going to restore my system back to normal. But I have not seen improvement my people, I'm frustrated, I don't have headache, I don't feel anything, I don't feel stomach pain, just watering stool is my problem.

What should I do please.

My stomach wouldn't stop making noises, grumbling anytime I drink water or eat food.

Go for tests instead of killing yourself with different drugs. Stool test, Urine mcs, and blood test for HIV or other STDs.
The cause of the runny stomach is definitely a bug.

Parents are the root cause of Nigeria’s problems. Bad parenting is the root cause of EVERY societal menace in our country.

In fact I was discussing with the mother of one of these reprehensible youths this evening. When she was a child I was warning and trying to correct that girl but the mother was not totally appreciative of my efforts. She felt I was being too hard.
Now what is happening? The girl has grown wayward. Doesn't respect and appreciate her mother and now the same mother complains to me about the said girl. It's just crazy.

Vain and empty generation. any sudden movement and she snaps in two.

Listen, there are many ways to discipline a disobedient child that does not involve physical violence. Times have changed and this barbaric way of beating ourselves in the name of training has got to stop. I support the parent slapping the hell out of the teacher. this nonsense physical abuse must stop. If the teacher is a champion of slapping people that disrespect him in his own house, they should leave that behaviour at the gate when the step into the school.

I pity you for you know not what you are doing. Solomon in the book of Proverbs said spare the rod and spoil the child. He also said that a child you fail to discipline would bring shame And disgrace to you in future. Do you know better than him? He also said foolishness abound in the heart of a child but the rod of correction drives it far from him.
The reason we are having so much moral decadence in today's world is that people felt they were wiser than the people of old but the results we are having today is a generation of godless, mindless and morally bankrupt youths who dare things we never imagined during our time yet they are getting away with it.
I see the effects of not punishing children adequately in all these western countries. Even in South Africa here the result is teenage pregnancy, rebellion, drug addiction and all sorts of reprehensible acts.
We will surely not like what's coming with our thoughtless actions.

Yes, training children is a hard job, but strike them is not acceptable. You probably grew up in an era where hitting children was seen as normal and a way to prove you were a competent teacher. Times have changed.

Report the erring child to the school authorities. They will have means of dealing with insubordination.

We we punished and even flogged whenever we acted up during our time. We never even informed our parents because most of the time we may be in the wrong and if you tell them and they come to school your punishment will increase as they will add to the Flogging by the teachers.

In our time whenever a student is suspended you will find it hard to get a new school because the school wants to know the reason for the transfer but today if a child is suspended the parents simply find a new school. As a result private schools just accept anything without asking questions.
That's why we a breeding a generation of mindless, morally bankrupt and godless youths. It's sad.
I am only against teachers injuring the child while disciplining the child. Everything should be in moderation.

The part in bold is the point a lot of Nigerians are missing. On what basis should our military be deployed to protect a construction site with a directive to shoot government officials who are on routine monitoring exercise? Are we in a war situation with another country over the property? Is that what we’ve reduced our armed personnel to? Instead of deploying soldiers to fight terrorism and protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria, we now deploy them with the directive to shoot government officials over an illegally acquired land. What a shame.

Like I’ve said before, all the soldiers involved in that illegal operation and show of shame including the person that deployed them to that site should have been arrested by the police and charged to court.
