wisepigeon:Lust and facial beauty is not what makes a marriage. That's why marriages today are in all sorts of problems. |
SmartPolician:This mentality is why marriages crash these days. Marrying someone with the false idea you can change the person. I know many marriages that have crashed because of this fallacious idea. How do you think you can change someone that has lived and behaved a certain way for twenty thirty something years of their lives? It's plain delusion so beware!! |
That's a public property. You can't privatize this. It's just a total waste of time. |
nairalanda1:All these things you said will still make no sense if you don't have the right leaders. Who is stealing all the resources? Is it me n you? Is it not the same crooks? |
Religion and illiteracy. A very deadly mix. It's a shame that the present state of the north doesn't bother its leaders. They need a new set of bright right thinking leaders to steer the affairs . They need education urgently as they have been left behind in every facet of human development. They are still living in the era of uthman Dan fodio. They should take a look at modern Arabs who share the same religion but have modernized their ways asap. The north is a ticking time bomb. |
ibedun:It's not about how much the government raises but the judicious use of the funds raised. What's the point of that paltry sum when the crooks. In government steal more than half of the sum raised? Even if a trillion dollars is what our budget is it's not going to make a difference with the crooks we have in power. You say we are poor yet they live super lavish lifestyles buying up properties overseas and stashing billions away in foreign banks. What do you call that? Yet you say Nigeria is poor? It's a failure of leadership. |
If he can do this to his kids imagine what he has been doing to suspects. |
This isn't gonna stop. It's a hopeless situation. Politicians use poverty, hunger and hopelessness as a weapon against the people and they rear their ugly heads during elections and share rubbish to buy the people's vote I give up on this nation. It's obvious nothing will ever change except by divine intervention. |
These guys are just mocking Nigerians. Dangote just wants to squeeze other marketers out so he can now sink his greedy fangs into the throat of Nigerians. Just watch and see. |
I am bemused how all these northern elites who lost their voices while carnage reigned supreme now suddenly found their voices since Trump threatened them. Truly there must be a grand conspiracy somewhere. |
His whole life must have flashed before him when that sentence was made. |
Consequences of living your life on social media. Go to rehab. Clean up yourself and then you will know where to go from here. |
The devil will be having a good laugh. So sad for her. At times when horrible things like this happens we just question this life. An innocent woman seeking her daily bread gets killed while killers, terrorists and sickos are still alive plotting their next evil. |
These criminals are just so shameless. Any little opposition to their misrule they gather career protesters who are paid peanuts to protest on their behalf. . They are such a shameless bunch. I was actually expecting this some days ago and now here we are. Where are the police to teargas them or it's only anti government protesters they attack? Shameless crooks. |
RealityKings1:What has he done!!? Several courts have ordered for his release but trust the criminals in power who wants to jail him through any means possible |
Joke of the century. What jurisdiction do they have in Gaza? |
Evercurious:Because they knew their turn was coming. It will surely go round. |
Keep mocking the injustice. It will surely go round. It's Kanu today tomorrow it may be your ass and there will be none to fight for you cowards. |
E ya kanle ki won to be ori yin? That's the animal farm we living in. |
Who laid the foundation for this madness and what did this man say then? When we tell people that evil begets evil and that when you feed evil it would one day consume you this is what we mean. When. Buhari was busy facing everything to the north what did they say then? |
OracleJay411:Of course they do, but because it's their country they may get a slap on the wrist but you as a foreigner don't have such privileges so you have got to be careful you don't break any laws. |
The judiciary is in the mud. How I wish we can go back to the era when we had eminent jurists who knew the law and had enough integrity to stand by it. Today judges now shamelessly do the bidding of the corrupt political class. |
ERockson:Show me the evidence that ipob is behind the killings and not some bear parlor gist spread by I'll informed people. |
ERockson:Show me one man Kanu killed compared to the terrorists ravaging the north on a daily basis and given red carpet treatment under the guise of negotiations? |
Morenikeji090:Morenikeji Onisokuso!!! They should jail him for what? Making the Nigerian state uncomfortable with the truth? |
ERockson:What do you mean by sincere? A man accuses the government of marginalizing his people, and instead of looking into his grievances, you think the best thing to do is lock him up. The same hypocrites went to the UN to demand freedom for Palestine. Can't you see the double standards? |
ERockson:Poor reasoning as usual. Would the US jail a man fighting for his people? Would they put a man on trial for an offence unknown to the law? Answer these questions before talking rubbish. @topic: We know the government has no case against this man, but they just want to hold onto him ad infinitum. They know releasing him would be a problem for them because they cannot handle the truth he speaks about the Nigerian state daily. He warned about all the events going on today sometime in 2014. Instead of people looking into the veracity of what he said and how it's affecting us today, they are busy cheering the illegality because it's someone else. Tomorrow, if the same injustice is meted out to them, they will be looking for help. The tiger you are helping to consume others will surely someday turn on you, so let's continue. Hardcore killers, terrorists, and bandits are busy walking free; heck, the government even grants them amnesty, but they cannot afford the same to this man because he doesn't want to compromise his stance like others have done. I may not be his fan, but I have to say the truth for posterity's sake. Let our conscience judge us all if we have any. I know the evil empire Britain is behind all these, working in cahoots with the evil forces holding this nation by the jugular, but nothing lasts forever. |
OracleJay411:When you are in Rome, you behave like the Romans. Driving under the influence might be a light offence for the citizens, but for a foreigner, you are on your own. |
lordofreal:Was Nigeria not ostracized and made a Pariah state? Were they not suspended from the Commonwealth, and did it not impact our international standing? Did Abacha himself not end up dead mysteriously? So what do you mean by nothing happened? Do you think a democratic government can afford such? |
CrownedPhoenix:Know ye not that Islam is a death cult? The average muslim has a bloodlust and can kill with minimal provocation. I have lived amongst them, so I know them well. |
As we used to say when we were kids, illiteracy is a disease that a doctor cannot cure. If not, what do we call this story now? |
OracleJay411:Why must you drive under the influence since you know it's a crime? Do you know driving under the influence has the potential to kill many people at one point? @Topic Jere: I am in support of deporting those people who are not allowed to protest in their Islamic conclaves but come to the US to disturb the peace, more so supporting a terrorist organization like Hamas and the Islamic Brotherhood of death and destruction. |
