Good morning house,
Please I need your advise. I got passport request on 2Jan and submitted it on 3rd Jan. Till now, there has been no update on my account and when I track the passport it says "your visa application tracking ID *******is been processed in the Canada Visa Office. I called vfs yesterday and they said it was sent to the high commission on Wednesday. Now my school resumed since 3rd Jan and I have booked my flight for Thursday. Please what can I do to tackle this issue? M scared. Thank you
Send a mail to lagos.immigration.gc.ca and use urgent as your subject.
State your details nd attach your ticket photo it might work.

@jnyuwa @Themechanic and other Usask students and prospective students.

Please, have applied for usask masters program for the past three weeks and paid the processing fee and have uploaded the required documents. One of my recommenders has uploaded his letter, one mailed it to the graduate coordinator because she was unable to receive the mail from school and was asked to send it through email. I only have one recommendation letter left to be sent, but my admission status is still displaying 'Some items outstanding.
My question is,will they start my admission review or is it possible that they have started working on it since have paid and uploaded my documents. Even after the last recommendation letter is sent, some items will still be outstanding because one of my letters was sent through email so it didn't reflect on my page. I need answers please, thank you. Its up to three weeks now
Send an email to the depertment for clarification on your issue. They are the ones to know if your app is complete or not. You have done well by raising such issues.

I don’t know if you got my question earlier about personal asset. I don’t have one, will landed properties of my parents work for that?

[quote author=yinkus8701 post=63864175]Hi guys, good job going on here.

Please your advice is needed.
I intend to take up a masters program in Computer science. My first degree was computer science too and i have a 2.1, i finished school since 2009 and been working as a customer care exeutive with one of the telecomms company for about 4 years.
My Brother and mother both ready to sponsor, coupled with my little savings of about 2m.
Now my question is this,
1-With a 2.1 qualification, can i seek for admission in a college for PGD, will it not reduce my chances in getting the student visa.

2--The time frame of finishing school and wanting to further now is about 7 years, will that not reduce my chances?
3-- What can i do differently to have high chances of getting admission in selected schools, about 3 of them.

Hello I got your pm pls can we communicate here for others to learn

No. A research assistantship is considered a part of your studies and isn't a job, from an immigration/VO standpoint.
Thanks thesoj
