8k from VI to Badore. Na fuel money be that or what. You assume people are fools. I can't even call the driver a theif. He may not have known the extent of the journey until he got to destination. You can imagine the feeling of being used which happens quite often in this hustle. That feeling can prompt anything. Most of you are rushing to convert your cars to CNG rather than demanding what is just and right. No self worth. The rider doesn't know who is on CNG. To him, he looks at you as a dummy for agreeing to take such trips and prices. The real thief here is the one that tried to play a smart one on the system. He got what he deserved. |
Froshdee01:They didn't agree to anything. The fare was imposed on him by the app. I'm sure that trip lasted over an hour. I'm also sure this person was dropped inside a pool of water where he lives. Coming out of Addo road is another story entirely. All these were collateral damages the driver ignorantly may not have envisaged. Who pays for these damages? Never mind the wicked rider was well aware of all these, knowing how bad Addo road is, knowing that he lives inside the ocean. Regardless, he was comfortable in the back seat paying an atrocious amount. Then karma struck. I'm not saying what the driver did was right, neither am I encouraging it. Sometimes, jungle justice becomes acceptable where there's no justice or fairness. I'm pretty sure some people that drive don't come out for those fares the apps display, they simply look out for opportunities to increase earnings, that was the driver's moment. He took it, right or wrong. |
jideflash:Indrive will take about N1500 from the 8k you were to pay. His take home would have been about 6k. FFS 6k for driving 26km from VI to a traffic riddled Addo road? This hustle is the biggest modern day slavery in Nigeria at the moment . Even if you are on CNG, does 6k take home amount to labour and time? If the car was yours, would you pay someone 8k to drive you from VI to Addo in your own car and fuel? There's no explaining why he bolted with your money. The fair deal for this trip is 15 - 20k in the prevailing economic situation. Maybe you should negotiate with him to return 60k to you. He may listen to that offer. Otherwise, just take it as karma. |
Kumuyiii:Na car wey you don use dey swim for okokomiko, Ajegunle and Ajah water for years you carry go convert to CNG? And you expect it to fire well? Na to revert back to push and start be that na ![]() Just be keeping change in your car to be settling people that can help you push anytime you want to drive through a hilly place. |
cyif2003 I gave you the idea about government aided CNG. Couldn't get back to at least acknowledge me. You chop, clean mouth. Typical Nigerian |
cyif2003:You can try the Indrive/FG partnership. I don't know iif anyone here tried that route? CC. Corner44 (Onye nzzuzu), Pearl1910, etc, etc. The price there is 550k that I was asked to pay. Just about the cheapest. And you have to pay via that link, make money no go enter voicemail. Does this Indrive route actually work? Anyone here done it? Another thing is the car I want to convert have never been registered or used on ride hailing Can this work as well? I have an active Indrive account though. |
chidifrank:If you have a car that the engine is relatively good, you might give it a try. Do not if the engine is seriously wearing out and smoky. Go for a good and reliable installer, not a cheap one. Use the internet, do findings about your kind of car, engine type as regards this conversion. Another point, its not advisable to.borrow all the funds needed for this purpose. If you cannot completely finance it, be able to afford 2/3 of the entire cost. Good luck. |
Conner44:I never lie bro. Na me first expose your black yansh for the world to see. I Sabi you reach your butthole . True or false? |
Conner44:Radadream was driving a car with a 3.4 engine in January 2025. In June 2025, same year, he converted a different car, 04 accord to CNG. Meanwhile, in September 2025, he was buying fuel in all the filling stations in Lagos. Too many inconsistencies in his stories. I never said he lied though. Could be he's not very proficient at it or just on rentals humping from one car to the other. Tojahh on his part would hype CNG to high heavens for his own selfish interest, nothing analytical about the real pros and cons , considering the fact that most of the cares on the platforms are jalopy. Mr. Uber Advocate, you are yet to covert your jalopy 03 accord. Just having slippery tongue here as per usual |
Conner44:You won't believe even if fuel is sold at 2k per litre. How bad you've been brainwashed about this business surprises me. You go use 25k buy fuel dey pick 3 - 5k trips. Body never weak before you.get back your fuel money and start searching for profit? Except you are a Pearl that doesn't want to believe that there's something wrong. Most of them are too busy driving that they have been turned to zombies. Even when the filling stations adjust prices, you don't even notice. You just keep driving. Z..o..m..b..i...e. The app coys are laughing at you and to the bank. Hahahaha |
Though, I'm not advocating traffic as a way of boosting earnings. A fair wage regardless of traffic situation should be the common ground for everyone. Just to clarify. We buy fuel in Nigeria nearly same amount with Europe and US while fares here are more than %80 less. Slavery. Cars are even more expensive here. Therefore, accepting low fares under any pretense is accepting being enslaved by the oyinbo app companies. If the wage is fair all year round, you don't need the rat race of December to get by. |
Muhammadson2020:It's amazing how they go from hero to zero between December and January. Taking trips not less than 10k in December to scrambling for crumbs in January. Then have the audacity to justify it. Zero standards. It's why the app companies will continue to take advantage of them. If they sit tight and refuse to take such abysmal trips, the prices will reset itself. F**c the January narrative, there should be a minimum fare price at all times. There are trips everywhere. Those who want the ride will go for it. Not eating like a cow in December, then become a scavenging rat in January. How bro? 😀 |
lexylexy:Free road/less traffic with poor fare is never the solution either. Such trips erode your dignity and self esteem as a man. The conversation should be about fair price regardless of traffic - free road or not. The fares are abysmal. You should all find a way of pushing for what is right. 6k under any guise as your take home for driving someone from VI to Sangotedo should be an insult and a very big slap on your face as a man. |
Omoapena:Imagine a platform run by a g o a t called corner44 how e go be. In a bid to axe me from the group, he deleted all his supposed students while I'm still there 😂. His mu mu no get part 2. |
Vela01:The bolded was edited for the sake of clarity. |
Obedibombedi:You are quite a good comedian with a great sense of humour. Only a man on kolos will pump 4M into bolt/Indrive and expect to break even in six months, I.e a real mad man. He can make that (if he chooses to sleep on the road on a day to day), quite possibly, having 500k in his bank account in six months is a different story entirely. At best, he's buying a Nigerian used car that he doesn't know what he will get. How can you beat your chest to say this? The audacity of your remark is astounding. |
Conner44:Tojahh don turn def and numb to be nominating you as his spokesman? Person wey no know you oo. ![]() I hope the guy that asked that question about CNG is not paying attention to you. |
Conner44:Can't he, Tojahh speak for himself. Why you? |
Jega2000:Your mouth is full of lies. All that you wrote here are terrible lies. Just imagine the useless arithmetic you ended your jargons with. |
Barbiturate:No impact can be felt when you have docile drivers in Nigeria. The protest was worldwide, but Nigeria where you have the worst fares, worst condition of service, worst customer care do not see the need to be part of it. I've always questioned the relevance of this thread and the intelligence of it's patrons if it cannot lead a course and further the interest of what it represents. I felt ashamed. |
Corner44, ran into one of your old classic pictures. On a boring wet Saturday , thanks for the laughs. |
Pearl1910:Giving validation to your oppressors has always been the bane of the masses of this country. What moral justification does Nigerian Police even have to stand on the road and demand for car documents with the current insecurity we have in the country? Except when there's suspicion of car theft, they shouldn't even stand on the road for that purpose because government delegated that responsibility to other agencies to enable Police concentrate on fighting crime, doing that over stretches the system. You and I know that the only reason police stand on the road to check documents is to look for who to extort money from. The fine people pay to police for not having correct documents does not get to government unlike FRSC and VIO who have been saddled with that responsibility. They have the channels to fine eering motorists, such channels are never available to the Nigerian Police force. So? But here you are condoning illegality, writing as if it's copy and paste from a primary school text book. No one needs to teach you knowledge sometimes, it's an innate ability that seems missing here. And that's why these app companies rip you guys off. The fares as it is now are one of the cheapest in the world if not the cheapest, the worst I mean. Go figure. Some of you are doing charity work driving round Lagos without knowing it. |
This is why I advocate mass literacy. Na night school Pearl go. Certain things are beyond your comprehension. To put things in proper perspective, understand what a road worthiness certificate means. It's like saying police has the authority to check if car tyres are worn out, or if car lights are working except when absolutely necessary or human lives are endeangered by it. They are police, they are not an authority on everything and don't have absolute right or power. |
Ajibaiye:Police have no business with Road worthiness Certificate please. Don't let them rip you off, don't give them that chance to even ask. Vehicle and Drivers license, insurance and of course road worthiness (if ready)are the documents you need. I'm hearing Proof of ownership are essential these days. Just get your documents intact though but don't let police men play with your mind about RW, it's not their duty. |

you know say if I start na complete 5 pages e go contain (especially when I factor in the other fake monikers you use in your attacks) lol
