Sultan is the Leader of Muslim in Nigeria, once the crescent moon is sighted by trustworthy Muslim, it's related to the sultan, whom will afterward make official broadcast.

We also have Muslim Leaders in every districts, villages, towns and cities also have their committees who sights the crescent moon.

Chief Imam of every state also announces the sight of crescent moon for their respective States. So every villages. So wether mass media is available or not isn't an issue

Once crescent Moon is reported to have been sighted in Nnewi from trusted source, it'll be reported to Muslim leaders for official broadcast.

Look no further than the INEC chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu’s disregard to the complaints by the opposition parties at the national collation centre in Abuja after the February 25 presidential election.

Recall that the opposition parties had alleged manipulation of the collation process and the INEC chairman had promised to look into their complaints. He never addressed those complaints before declaring the presidential candidate of APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu the winner, while the aggrieved were told to go to court.

I remembered while I was a student at Ife and he was to be awarded Emeritus Professor, I was there when they were making photocopies of his CV. It was like a gigantic textbook. And to shock you, the CV was (updated) before he got the Nobel prize award.

There are so many I know that he referenced/sponsored through scholarship to Harvard university.

What about professors at Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, etc that earned their professorship only working on his works. Those great profs are called Wole Soyinka's critics.

No comparison please, who do we compare with the first African Nobel prize winner in literature.

If you are banning the so-called ethnic slurs, then it should not be one-sided. There some people here who use derogatory words on others to promote their ethnic group and they seem to be untouchables but when someone else does same, the person get banned.

Take note that there is a moderator on this forum who ban people who do not concur to the ideas of his ethnic group and religious affiliation.
