Lagos houses are overpriced!! You will be seeing 150 million on houses built on a quarter of a plot. This can build you mansion in other cities like Ibadan with accompanying peace of mind.
Textra: The way you guys planted the cassava stem is quite funny to me. Here we plant in slanting form and not vertical. Well, I don't think it will have any effect anyway.
I read an article that says that there are about three ways of planting cassava.
willybaby: Good morning everyone and am so so sorry for not posting for a while have just been focused on my farm, now to the good news our cassava as I said earlier has been delivered and planting has been going on for a couple of days now. We were about to finish planting yesterday so on farm 1 our corn and cassava is in the ground. May God bless our efforts.. Amen
willybaby: rooter powder basically stops weed germinating on d soil and has an effect on d soil for as long as 3months.. they are other products such as rooter powder the general name for them is premergence powder or chemical... Now the liquid herbicides is used to kill already growing weed.. so in combining them your basically killing already growing weeds and preventing new ones to grow also... I hope you understand
willybaby: This chemical is called rootout and it prevents weeds from germinating on the new farm for as much as 4months.. this makes the newly planted cassava stem grow well
How much is this and how many do you need for a hectare?
zotafarms: The best time to plant is definitely when rain has started and the soil is moist. The cassava stick will not germinate in dry soil. Anything from April, may, June, July is perfect.
Your sister should stay with your parents. They are in the best position to train their own daughter. For no reason should they push that responsibility to anyone else.
A lot is happening these days. Taking your female child to where she could be abused is highly irresponsible. Speak with your parents and let them take care of her.
zotafarms: I didn't do anything much. It's the first time cassava is planted there just organic manure like decaying leaves and the land is fertile, and it spent one year before harvest.
sonofanarchy: I don't Gerrit, it's okay for a black to hate a white but not okay for whites to hate blacks. Boyega should stop this stupid black man entitlement
Don't be naive. When has a Black person's hatred for whites got a person killed?
Nuzo1: The hate (i would like to use dislike) cuts across all regions of Nigeria.
1. Some politicians and governors disliked him because he denied them access to the president. Eg Muoguno, Aisha, Ganduje etc.
2. Some disliked him because they felt he usurped the VP's job descriptions. And by extension keeping Tinubu at arms length from Buhari.
3. Some disliked him because they felt was the one giving the final shooting order of IPOB during operation python dance in the south east.
4. Some disliked him because they felt he was misrepresenting Buhari in so many occasions.
5. Some disliked him because they felt he was intelligent, well read and enlightenmented enough but couldn't use these characteristics to give Buhari's administration a focus. Eg beremex.
6. Some disliked him because they felt he was very corrupt.
All these categories of people may be right to assume he didn't do his job well, but one thing they seem not to know is that Abba kyari was just an errand boy, a workaholic, an unflinching loyalist and a willing fall guy. His job was to discuss and collect information from all concerned sectors and relay it to the cabal. The cabal deliberates on the information, hints a little to Buhari (who obviously is not interested) and send back the final decision to kyari for onward execution.
Abba kyari did exactly his job. But unfortunately, Nigerians like to blame the wrong people for their failure.
In the coming months, people will get to find out that as bad and corrupt as Abba kyari was, he was never the problem with Buhari's administration. The cabal are also not the problem. Nobody elected these people and they are not holding the president hostage with a gun to make decisions against his wish.
future001: I don’t agree that Igbos dislike Abba Kyari being Igbo myself. I also ask the question why so much hate on the man. Personally, I see him as a sane, rational man in this govt even though they say he leads the cabal. Anyway, I think he has the best interest of the country in his heart. By the way he got infected and paid the ultimate price negotiating power infrastructure development with one of the best global providers in the world. I have not heard him involved in any kind of scandal like many of our leaders except that people say he leads the cabal.
You must understand that majority of Nigerians are frustrated, angry and easily transfer aggression to everyone and everything around them and most times ignorantly. So this unfortunate passing of a senior political elite will not be treated differently.
But his passing also calls for personal reflection and humility from everyone. This life should not be taken too seriously because it can be lost at anytime.
My thought exactly. Before Aisha speaking about the cabal, I don't think anyone had negative things to say about Abba Kyari.
It's no longer news that the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari is dead. The way the government handled this case has shown most of what is wrong in our polity. Some of these I will list below and you can add yours. 1. Abba Kyari was in Germany to strike a deal for Nigeria - This in itself is a good thing but travelling at that time when the news of COVID 19 was rife worldwide is irresponsible. It was at a time when Nigerians on Social media had been calling on the Federal Government to close the borders while the government saw no reason to.
2. Abba Kyari failed to self isolate after arrival - The government could have ensured the quarantine or imposed self isolation on all returnees from abroad and this would have kept us from this present mess of community transmission of the virus. Abba Kyari ended up infecting other high profile Nigerians.
3. On testing positive, Abba Kyari was moved to a private facility - This further shows how much distrust government officials have for our health system while failing to take necessary actions to put it in shape. Unlike UK where her Prime Minister was treated under the NHS, Abba Kyari, against the NCDC guidelines was managed in a private facility. It further created hatred towards him and the Federal Government by the public.
4. Abba Kyari's burial was against public health guidelines - According to the health Minister, Corpses of COvID 19 victims would not be handled by the relatives of the victims. This was not the case for Abba Kyari who was not cremated as expected but whose burial arrangement was done in Abuja and by people who obviously were not public health workers. 5. Abba Kyari's remains handler was seen dumping used PPE by the road side. - This is the height of it. Nigerians are enraged that the handler has put himself, his family and so many other people at risk. Watch video evidences of this below.
