Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, Father of Nigerian Students-FONS; who is also the Democratic Observer General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, has recently decried the current State of the Nation, noting the increased rate of corrupt practices in the Country, as he wept bitterly for the Nation Nigeria. This comes after a video of Hon. Derick Uhunmwangho, Labor Party House of Assembly Candidate, Egor Constituency bemoaning the situation of the supplementary elections held at ward 4, Egor Local Government area on Saturday went viral. In the video, the LP Candidate bemoaned the negative turn out of events as he noted that electoral process was being hijacked. In his speech, Chief Dr. Eholor said: “Slaves, when inquired of their condition and the character of their masters, almost universally say they are contented, and that their masters are kind. The slaveholders have been known to send in spies among their slaves, to ascertain their views and feelings regarding their condition. The frequency of this, has had the effect of establishing among the slaves, the maxim, that a still tongue makes a wise head. Thus, they suppress the truth rather than take the consequences of telling it. You cannot free a slave who is comfortable in his master paradise, that is the reality of t Nigeria Today." “You can not liberate those who are not ready to be liberated, It is unfortunate that some of those people affected by this situation are the same people who they are using to oppress people. I do not know where the Country is heading anymore. The Criminality does not end with the Government, it is amongst all of us, Professors who are supposed to be role models are Criminals, the Judges who are supposed to be erodites are unfair to the people, the Governor who is supposed govern his people have become modern slave masters , those going to the House of Senate has become horrible instrument of Honorable. “ He Continued. “ I do not really know who I am fighting for, wether it is for the common man or those disguising to be, Corruption is much, the police who are supposed to protect lives and property have increased their extra judicial killings, the Military who are supposed to safeguard our borders and sovereignty have become one of the highest human rights violators, the immigration who is supposed to issue out passport to us with the amount speculated are allegedly selling our passports to foreigners." “The Customs are not carrying out their due responsibilities, they are just there to exploit the citizens and mount illegal road blocks. We have few Doctors left in Nigeria and yet they are going to pass a law that criminalizes any doctor that leaves the country before 5years of Practice. “ “In this case, why did you not criminalize the legislators who are getting double pay? There are a lot of outlaws in this country, It is going backwards. People are seeking miracle from churches, the rate of rituals is alarming. Nigeria has become a comic book, you start from the beginning, to the middle and you do not know how it is going to end. There’s no optimism from the citizen. “ He said . “This is the only Country where the Central Bank prevents you from accessing your money, to this, lives were lost. In this Country, there is impunity for the rich to behave as they like . The only Country where one speaks the truth and becomes an enemy of the people and a target of the State. I weep for my beloved Country.” "Quitting it's not in my dictionary, I am taking a break and I will slowly watch from behind. I sincerely hope that there are few good men remaining and with God Almighty , we should be able to rescue this Country, before it is too late." "Finally, I am not going to take it away from the Obidients for they have tried, I will also not take it away from the rugged dogged youths who shun corruption and end police brutality, I pray for the soul of those that died at the Lekki Toll gate for the purpose of freedom of the unborn generation, the churches and mosques are increasing, some extorting people just due to bad governance that have stolen the hope of the people away, Almajiri have gone up to 15 million in the North all because of the Northerners stakeholders in all spheres, Nigeria is the only country that take history away from curriculum in school so people will not know the things that had happened in the past, I hope we have egalitarian society. Henceforth, I will watch from behind, no more interviews granted to the pressmen or any associate in the platforms, even protest, there would be no more Television and Radio appearances, I need my life back, let the thief celebrate, let my fans miss me, thank you." He concluded. |
You are casting aspersion on people, calling people fascist. It is wrong of you as you've become one who was a hero and become zero, you are the same person who supported Muhammadu Buhari and imposed him on us, Why are you doing this, you could have just been mute instead of going from hero to zero, you need to apologize to all Obidient please don't set this country on fire Wole Soyinka. People are still protesting in the streets of Paris as civilized as they are demanding for their rights. Protesting is our fundamental human right, you did it Wole Soyinka you went and ceased a radio station Wole Soyinka back then and no one called you a fascist. You came out with an idea in those days in school because the lecturers and professor were oppressing students, you came out with pyrate confraternity that leads to different cultism today that have taken so much life and yet you weren't called a fascist. Wole Soyinka you need to apologize to all Obidient, you could not tolerate as an elder statesman and be mute because of your pay master (Bola Tinubu). You were just a pretentious leader, nothing more and nothing less. You used to talk when you were our age, you used to condemn what was wrong and now today you are stopping us, it is not possible. We hope that the likes of you do not set this country on fire, we have no other country. Why are calling out Datti for a debate are you now APC spokesperson? The world is watching you. Wole Soyinka has a split identity. He is like the Agama Lizard, who after shitting 'white' stains it with 'black' excreta. He may have been saintly to most Nigerians who are not descerning enough to decipher his character contents. He was one of the NADECO's principals who fed fat from the MKO Abiola's June 12 debacle and later demeaned the struggle for God's know what! Are we going to forget in a hurry that he was the same person, who forced Buhari on hapless Nigerians? Therefore, why would you expect him to prefer Obi against Tinubu? As far as I know, Soyinka is afflicted by double individualism and spirit of variance. He is also a sham and a media creation, who had outlived his usefulness, if he has been useful for the good reasons. His proclamation of Nigerians as a wasted generation shouldn't be allowed to remain as long as he lives! Seeing the Obidients and Obi, demystifying his denunciation of Nigeria, and placing Nigeria in the right footing must have filled him with envy that these are bringing to Nigerians the Quixotic years of his excessive vocality and obscurantism. Wole Soyinka is a bat, who calls itself a bird! Mayaki must be saved from following the perilous pathway of Festus keyamo, who rose on the popular wings of the media and grassroots Nigerians to cheap fame, because their initial fickle-minded supports for public spiritism had trick people to believe that they are friends of the public. Now, they gang up with the same oppressors who they once condemned to enslave our people. That's is the ways of opportunists and booth leakers. Let me remind you about the words of President Buhari when he was in CPC " If what happened in 2011 (alleged rigging) should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood" Speaking about 2015 General Election on Channels TV, when asked about the thought of the chairman of the Party forming a parallel Party, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo clearly supported the movement and saw nothing wrong in forming a parallel party. John Mayakai and Wole Soyinka are all of this not treasonable? Why didn't anyone come out and call it fascist? Now to the statement of Baba Datti “You cannot swear in people who have not met constitutional requirements. If you do that, you have done something unlawful, something unconstitutional. And I am repeating it, whoever does not meet the constitutional requirement must not, must never be sworn in. You said my name. If you like I can say it again. I am Datti Baba-Ahmed.” What happened in the last election is a rape of democracy |
Several reactions had attacked the judgement of the court suspending the Principal officers of Labour Party including the Party Chairman. Recently also, the trending leaked phone conversation between the Bishop David Oyedepo, the senior pastor of The Living Faith Church and Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi which is supposed to be confidential generated hit in the media while there was a threats of arrest for treason. However, on Wednesday, the court judgement over the allegations by one Chief Onoja who allegedly sanctioned Mr. Julius Abure and other Labour Party principals for some documents forgery, this has been condemned by many Nigerians saying there is no fair hearing before putting the judgement against the Labour Party. Speaking with Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, the contact and mobilization coodinator Party diaspora, the One Love Foundation president and founder; Nigeria Democracy Observer General; Father of Nigerian Students (FONS) he has condemned the lack of fair hearing against Comrade Abure and others. In his words, Chief Dr. Eholor referred to his recent article he published this morning about the current state of the nation, where he condemned lack of ‘rule of law’ This morning again, he spoke with the Journalists “People have cases in court for more than twenty to thirty years, expatriate motion has not been granted but when things come to political matters, some justice are very quick to decisions without fair hearing, without allowing the other Party to come with his lawyer for self defense alongside with investigations that will decide the case, I think it is wrong, I think if this country is going to survive, the judiciary has to stand it ground professionally without being used by anyone. If the Judiciary which has said it is the last man’s hope fails and if we cannot trust judiciary then what is the going to be the hope of the common people, it is an error in a state once the people start doubting the court, Labour Party is a growing Party but the country want to destroy the Party through the bias and unfair judgement; the police, DSS and law enforcement agencies will be used by the politicians, also the media is not helping the matter at all, for instance the Arise TV and Channels TV as well as others have broadcasted and published it without contacting the other side. Can we plead to the court, the forces and other law enforcement to remember their responsibility to do things in an accordance of the law, to respect constitution and not be bias.” “I, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal has advocated for the Judges and Police to get better incentive and better wages so they can earn their respect, I am not going to give up on this country, myself and other freedom fighters should not give up on this country, I believe Nigeria will be great again.” “Therefore, people should disregard any rumor flying around that Julius Abure is not the national chairman, with the documents present to you here from a recognize court in Nigeria, it should be respected that Julius Abure is still the authentic national chairman, there is no any internal crisis, I believe some disgruntled politicians are behind this using some Judges who feel that they have no respect for their Profession and putting this country to difficult situation.” Ultimate Equal concluded. |
It is no news that APC has failed for wasting 8 years in power for nothing . When a country is under a siege people may believe in the General retired army to sanitize the nation with the army experience and discipline. This was the case of Nigerians in 2015, when we accepted the campaign of MohammadFather of Nigerian Students lambasts selfish leaders, calls for growth. Buhari, by the current President elect, Senator Bola Tinubu, who took his time, blood and sweat to sell and present Mohammad Buhari to us with lots of promises which we believed in him as a great people. Therefore In 2015, it took the president elect, Mohammadu Buhari some months to appoint his ministers which we thought the outcome will be awesome but instead there is nothing good we could point out or show as an achievement in the outgoing administration because of the corrupt ministers and advisers. APC government have failed woefully by doing nothing positively for Nigerians, instead what we see is corruption, insecurity, rigging of elections from 2019 presidential election till date. We could also see the rate of election rigging in this just concluded elections by the ruling party. The start of the APC administration in 2015 was enticing, as it was known that the President himself was appointed as the Minister of Petroleum. There are lots of high political actors in the system appointed as ministers and special advisers, but with all these, it is a big disappointment for the government to disappoint us. Nigeria is one of the countries that is rated for corruption and injustice. The Father of Nigerian students, Chief Dr. Patrick Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal commented on Festus Keyamo for threatening Obi and Datti to be arrested by DSS due to Datti’s comments as Datti talked about the presidential election that winner must win the FCT before he could be announced as winner. “What Datti said does not worth Keyamo’s reply threatening him to be arrested, if it is so where was he when MC. Oluomo threatened every other ethnicity who is not yoruba not to cast their votes, and intimidating people who did not vote for Asiwaju? The Capoon of the The National Association of Seadogs (Pyrates Confraternity) Mr. Abiola Owoaje in a report from Phoenix app on Saturday March 5, 2023 has accused the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, of dereliction of duty over his failure to order the arrest of Mr Musilu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo after he was seen in a viral video threatening Igbo voters. Nobody has monopoly of violence, Obidient people do not believe in violence, The Obidients believe in doing things Obediently. Even as the SAN Keyamo is, he did not merit it. If you want to practice your SAN you should have been in court facing other lawyers and not intimidating people who are made to do good for the country." Eholor said “Were you not alive when people were dying in Nigeria despite that we were not at war, because of the incitement from your camp? Were you not alive when Fani Kayode who stole 2billion Naira to repair the Airport in Port-Harcourt without any tangible results?" “Obidients being quiet does not mean we do not have the number and strength. But we believe we are one country. Sometime ago, you persecuted Tinubu that Tinubu was into drug dealing even Fani Kayode but you sipped back your vomit. We have no other Country, both of you should stop abusing people who are intelligent. People have the right to complain when they are robbed. If this Country is going to survive, it depends on disgruntled lawyers Judges Police and INEC officials." Agbakoba recently seeks INEC’s clarification on 2/3 majority votes, Section 134, he says languages describing winner of presidential poll ‘confusing’. with this, where is the power of the judiciary? “ There are still good people with conscience, who have courage to make good decisions who will not turn the Country to Cash and carry , their plans are known, that is why I have said severally, that it is dangerous to allow criminals make laws for you, like some people who call themselves Honorables, why will people called Honourable but stealing ballot boxes for them to be elected, what is Honourable in the act? And you do not want people to complain? Therefore the good people should not be silent so that the bad people will not be offended." In other words, Chief Dr. Eholor who defined INEC not as Independent National Electoral Commission, but as a living thing. INEC is a body of Humans who have feelings, growth and other characteristics of living things. Therefore, he took to his social media to talk about this on Sunday, referring INEC to people who conduct elections , not only that, including those POS operators, fuel attendants, motorists and so on. “INEC is only seen as group of people who conduct election and rig it, but those who are POS operators especially in the South, who charge 300-400 Naira to withdraw 1000 are in the same Country with people in the North who still collect a 100 Naira for 1000 Naira, also the rate of fuel per liter and the price cannot be compared to other states while we all are in Nigeria." “These set of INEC people are not different from the INEC that Rig election, people go to Mosques on Friday to worship Allah and as today being Sunday, they will all go to Churches to go and thank God for Cheating people? We can not serve God in a pretentious manner, we have to worship God in truth, because the truth exhorts a nation while the sin of all our activities is a shame to the Nation, we should all check ourselves." “Lastly to Professors, the educated illiterates that were trusted to do the needful, but betrayed the Country, your Family, the knowledge you had, your Children and the generations to come." “We have to think about taking the INEC in us away, to talk about morals and patriotism in this Country. Moreover for those destroying their passports for due to their anger of the current state of the Nation, you do not have to do that. I am dual Citizen of Nigeria and Canada and I know the value of holding the two passports tightly, we should also know how to handle our anger, in order to avoid setting the country ablaze by ourselves." Finally, Ultimate Equal also spoke about those planning violent protests it is very wrong. "We cannot burn this Country, what is wrong is wrong, it needs our correction not to worsen it, DSS have sent message across to those planning protest. Protest is lawful, it is our human rights, they are not asking you not to protest, they are asking you to respect the right of others. Let us make Nigeria stand once more by thinking positively to the growth of our country" He concluded. |
Chief Patrick Eholor files criminal compliants to INEC and AGF then further drags the Edo state Chief of Staff and his thugs to NHRC over electoral violence, malpractice and sundry offences. President of One love foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, who is the Director of Contact and Mobilisation of Labour Party of Nigeria, today filed a criminal complaint both to INEC and AGF against the Chief of staff to Edo State in the person of Honourable Iyoha Osiagbovo and some thugs related to him. Copies of the complaint, and letter written to INEC, AGF and filed before the National human rights commission made available to newsmen, complained and narrated how the Chief of staff to Edo state Governor, alongside his thugs perpetuated violence, electoral violence, and other sundry criminal offences, on voters of the George Idah primary school and the further attempt to kill Mr Patrick Eholor by the said Mr osiagbovo and thugs, He then by this complaint called for the intervention of the authorities to come to his aid and ensure that justice is done to his petters, complaint to INEC and AGF by further filing of direct criminal complaint against Hon osiagbovo Iyoha. However, in earlier reports , Chief Patrick Eholor stated and narrated what transpired between him and Hon. Iyoha on 18th March 2023 Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections, that after voting in his place in Ovia North East to vote, there were lots of distress calls. “ I can not be everywhere. "I engaged myself to do what I can to make sure there is peace and harmony between us because after the election we are still the same people. We are still Nigerians. However, I was at George Idah Primary School around 6.00pm, I saw the Chief Of Staff(COS) to the State Governor (Governor Godwin Obaseki), Osaigbovo Iyoha, trying to intimidate the voters. I told him that it will never be possible, therefore, I called the Director of DSS, may God continue to bless her as she sent a Hilux of DSS men in, within five minutes. When the Hilux arrived with the DSS men, Iyoha and Thomas Aroko disappeared into thin air. We couldn’t find them." “ I remained resolute. I stood there. After the collation of results in Idah Primary School they took the ballot boxes to Urhokpota Hall, the Police were standing, Labour Party were winning overwhelmingly, in the presence of the police they were changing the results. I said that it cannot happen, not when I am alive, I have been doing this for about 30 years, I have always been on the side of the people, that Iyoha authorized some notorious thugs who are not ready to be liberated, you know what that means? That they should Kill me. But I resisted them." “ Thank God for the life of Austin V Boot. That’s what they call him, he said not in my time, Ultimate Equals will not die here, he protected me, I was hurriedly taken to the car so I can leave, the Police were standing there doing nothing, What were the police doing? They took oath to save lives and properties. I called the Commissioner of Police (Dankwara) many times, I sent him a text message, he promised to call me back but never call back. If you see things going wrong you say nothing or you do nothing, it means you are culpable. It means you accept what is going on.” But in a swift reaction, Iyoha when contacted, denied the allegation and said that Eholor came to disrupt the process of collation in the centre. Iyoha said “I am shocked at this allegation which ordinarily should not merit a response. However, we were at the collation centre and I was assisting in collating the result of my ward, I was engrossed in the process and suddenly I started hearing grumblings and noises I was forced to look up then I saw that somebody was being pushed out and he was shouting, but to ensure that there was peace, I immediately told somebody to help calm the situation and I am shocked he is now holding me responsible." “If I may ask, was he supposed to be in that place at that time of the election? There are laws guiding elections and in a collation centre, there are regulations guiding who should be there and how they should conduct themselves so was he expected to be there at that time he concluded. As at press time, no official reaction from INEC, AGF and executive secretary of NHRC, but in swift hours, the press expect their response, to this direct, criminal complaint filed, letter and official complaint filed against Osiagbovo Iyoha and his thugs. |
Famous human rights activist and President of One Love Foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, was attacked by thugs yesterday while witnessing the collation of election results in Urhokpota, Benin City. “what is honourable about a man who wants to be elected into the house of assembly, then steals a ballot box? What is honourable about a sitting governor who people refer to as Excellency? What is excellent about a thief? “ These were the words of the Ultimate equal as he lamented the electoral process in Benin City yesterday. Dr. Patrick while addressing Journalists at his residence in Benin City today, described the incident as a show of shame and retrogression in Nigerian political industry. Eholor addressed the viral video of MC Oluomo threatening Igbo’s in Lagos and questioned national unity. According to him, INEC and the police failed Nigerians. What is the use of their existence if the police can not protect lives and property? He asked. He recounted the event at his polling unit yesterday in Ovia North East, where the Chief of Staff to Edo State Governor, Osaigbovo Iyoha was trying to intimidate a voter, he said he quickly intervened and called the excellent Director of State Security Service to report the incident, which she swiftly responded to my call by sending in her men in less than 5 minutes. But on their arrival, Osaigbovo and his cohorts disappeared into thin air. “After the collations, the results were taken to Urhokpota and labour party was winning overwhelmingly. But the results were being changed in the presence of the police. I kicked against this strongly. This is more than kidnapping, this is our future at stake. Before I could say Jack! Osaigbovo Iyoha authorized notorious thugs to take me out. But thank God for the intervention of Mr. Austin Vbooth, in the midst of all these, the police stood there watching and did nothing. I called the commissioner of police several times, he said he did not have network. I told him what was going on, he promised to call back which never did.” “ if you allow Criminals to make law for you, you cannot get justice. I will expose them by every means necessary and if anything happens to me, the world is already aware that Osaigbovo Iyoha is after my life I will write to the Presidency, The Attorney General and to Canada Embassy. I will also not relent in this fight of Justice.” Patrick Stated. |
Former Dean of Students, University of Benin. Prof. Patrick Igbinaduwa tells Journalists on Background and speaks on allegations against Nigerian professors May we meet you? I am a professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, in University of Benin, and I am married to Mrs. Bridget Igbinaduwa , who is the Deputy Director Federal medical center Asaba, We are blessed with 3 wonderful children, which 2 are undergraduates. We are also servant in ministry, I am a pastor and my wife is a deaconess in the Living Faith Church. We contribute our quota in the little way we can, to human capital development all thanks to God . How was your Childhood like, were there days when you failed In school while growing , if so, what transformed and aided your performances to even become a professor? I was not born with silver spoon, my father was a health assistant and mother was a trader. We had a farm in Ikoka near Udo, I grew up in a Christian background, before I became a pastor I have been a Bible study class teacher, I got born again at an early age in my class four and I followed the teachings of my spiritual mentors, the likes of Late Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome and Bishop David Oyedepo, they moulded my life, and have guided me to avoid a lot of pitfalls along the way. I have always been a top class student . Whichever class I featured in , I have always been amongst top 3. The only time I had issues in my academics was in my 200level days. Of course that is a difficult phase for all Pharmacy students, due to the numerous compulsory courses I had challenges coping and I had two carry overs. I almost wanted to quit, but I was able to spring up and in 400level I was made a scholar again and I graduated as best graduating student of my set in 1990. God has been directing my steps. The greatest part of my life is my Christian walk and not my academics, although the academics has been a manifestation of it. Why did you choose lecturing Career and what inspired you to become a professor? My life has been based on faith. In 1999, I attended a crusade with pastor Chris, as he ministered, he revealed that God wanted to position some people in various sectors across the Nation but because of money people do not avail themselves. By this time I already knew God wanted me to be in academic sector, I knew he was talking to me. Before then as the best graduating student, I was adviced to apply for the post of a Lecturer but I declined because of the poor salaries lecturers were getting. After I heard those words, I made up my mind and fortunately for me Prof. Cyril Usifo the current president of Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria, offered me a job to work with him as an assistant lecturer. I can say that God brought me into academics. Before attaining Professorship, I already determined In my early days as a Lecturer to get the best out of my profession. So I was focused, my Social Life was down this period. For about 10yrs, I never attended any party. I had a target to achieve , I had to obtain my masters and PhD. coupled with several publications to Publish. Professors are the highest ranked in the Academic industry, a news documentary about Professors rigging election is circulating, what is your take on this? I do not agree that this is true. You do not judge a problem when you do not know the root cause. ASUU are not involved where the election takes place. For instance the presiding officers are the ones that prepares authenticated result at the polling unit level, Not the collating officers. Recall, ASUU was not involved in elections, it was when former ASUU chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega was appointed the INEC chairman that ASUU gave him a template which will enable the Professors to be involved all through the electoral process, but it was denied by the politicians. The authenticated results are prepared in absence of Academicians (Professors) at the polling Unit, which is most times headed by a Youth Corper. The Professors only come in at the point of collation , when some results will have been manipulated The Professor is only a scope, they do not have power to investigate. It is easy for us to criticize Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, but if you sit on his seat , perhaps you will know what he is going through. What the INEC chairman put in place, showed he had pure intentions to conduct credible elections. Unfortunately, it did not go as planned. But as a honourable personality , if he was faced with he would have let the country know. We should give him credit for amplifying the process too. Under the leadership of Professors, judging from the past antecedents, we cannot deny that electoral process is gradually improving. I think Academicians should be praised for the innovations they have introduced in the electoral process. In the University of Benin, you have served in several capacities, one of which is the Dean of Students . How was it for you? Well it was an enjoyable experience despite the challenges encountered. I am most grateful to the Iconic Vice Chancellor of This great Institution , Exceptional Prof. Lilian Imuetinyan Salami , for trusting in me by giving me the opportunity to serve as Dean of 77,001 Students. She believed in me and by God’s grace I did not let her down. Do you have future plans to become the VC? It is the ambition of anyone to rise not necessarily by attaining the position of Vice Chancellor, I am a member of the University Senate and I can contribute ideas and work with the Vice Chancellor to build the school. Also in my Faculty,I contribute my quota in any way. As of now, according to the regulations of University of Benin, I am not even qualified to aspire for the position . Maybe in the future I might qualify, depending on the criteria. I trust God to lead the way as always. |
Exclusive: Prof. Aigbovo speaks on election rigging; Profs to shun election results collation. A former Dean of Students, University of Benin, Prof. Osaretin Aigbovo from the Faculty of Law, tells the Journalists about his background, achievements and his opinion on rigging allegations against Professors in Nigeria. HOW WAS GROWING UP LIKE FOR YOU? I enjoyed my childhood , It was normal and quite interesting. Things were not so easy, but thank God we scaled through life’s struggle . CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND? I am from Benin and I am happily married with Children. I had good parents , my Father was a teacher and my mother was a full housewife and she is still alive till now. They took good care of us. I also went through my academic phases at the appropriate time. I attended Uwa primary school, and former St. Kizito grammar school which is now a campus of Edo University in Eguaholor, was where I completed my secondary education . There after, I proceeded to Obtain my N.C.E from the College of Education in Warri, Delta State and went for youth service , before I came to study Law in the University of Benin. After I graduated in 1990, I went to the Law school in Lagos, this was in 1991 and after that, I returned to continue my Masters in UNIBEN and I was officially employed as a Lecturer in 1995. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE LECTURING AS A PROFESSION? Well as I have said earlier my father was a teacher, so I guess it is in the DNA. I loved teaching, while I was in practice and I was with a principal back then after my researching about court cases I had extra time. That was when I decided to begin my masters degree. Fortunately for me , before I finished my masters, The acting Dean Prof. Guobadia recruited me into the Faculty as an assistant lecturer . WHAT ARE HE CHALLENGES YOU ENCOUNTERED IN ATTAINING YOUR PROFESSORSHIP? It was challenging but at the same time enjoyable while it lasted. It is not easy to be a professor, you have to do the grind it is Publish or perish! The system we met did not require a PhD to attain the level. However things took a turn before we were promoted as senior lecturers. Although it was challenging, we got our publications and became Professors. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND ASUU AS A RESULT OF ELECTION RIGGING ALLEGATION? I have no opinion as a professor I have never participated in elections. I only know academics go there as returning officers and collation officers. I heard that they were being treated shabbily by INEC officials. I applaud the Professors Who refused to read out different results from what they had. It is something I can do but I don’t want to get involved. WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR COLLEAGUES? My opinion is that as long as malpractices exists in the electoral process they not be involved. If it is just for announcing results which were not monitored or validated by the Professors, I do not think we should be involved. They do not treat Professors well, and it is making Professors lose respect in the eyes of the politicians and society. What were your achievements as Dean of Students UNIBEN? It was a tough experience, as a student I did not have connections and I understood how it was for students like myself back then, so during my tenure, I made sure people who were not connected were equally attended to. In a bid to do so, we Introduced fastest fingers which enabled both privileged and underprivileged students to accommodation fairly from the comfort of their abodes. This curbed selling of hostel space in the hostel. Also during the National Sports Festival, we were able to get the Edo state government to renovate our school hostels during the National Sports Festival that held in Edo . Please tell us your current position? I am a Professor and I am the PG Cordinator, I am also the chairman of a Panel in this great University. ANY FUTURE PLAN OF BECOMING A VC? Any Professor should have that aspiration but it is not a do or die affair. Anyone who makes that his major purpose in life, may die of heartache. The race is not for the swift. It is not a fixation. However, Qualifications varies as some Professors, posses the requirements more than others. Although many contest, in the end, only one Vice Chancellor will be appointed . |
A professor in Economics and the Current Dean of students in University of Benin, Professor Clement Ighodaro in an interview tells the Journalists his background motivation, challenges and his opinion on the recent election rigging allegations thrown at the Professors yesterday. HOW WAS CHILDHOOD LIKE FOR YOU? My childhood was interesting and growing up was fun for me and my siblings. WHAT WAS YOUR BACKGROUND LIKE? My late father was a monogamist and I am the first born of 11 children, although one has passed on. I attended the Holy cross primary school which is now oghola primary school, and after, I attended Edo college. I further engaged in menial jobs before I gained admission to study Economics and Statistics in the University of Benin, where I also acquired my masters and Ph.D in Economics and MBA. Interestingly, I was opportuned to be a beneficiary of the world bank scholarship under Africa economic consultion Kenya. I am also happily married with children. WHAT WERE THE CHALLENGES YOU FACED WHILE COMING UP IN THE ACADEMIC INDUSTRY? Aside from the Financial constraints, I had two major challenges. I had once missed an opportunity to work in Shell due to the lack of a degree. Also, there was some of my friends who had also entered the University before me, I remember them having a conversation which I contributed in, but unfortunately, I was ridiculed for not having the experience of attending a University. However, it will amaze you to know that some years later, I taught one of them in the University. With these experiences, I was greatly challenged and determined to go back to School. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE LECTURING AS CAREER? Right from my early days, although I didn’t like teaching as a career but I had always loved imparting people. For instance I am a taekwondoist and I taught people even in UNIBEN. As a matter of fact I, in my undergraduate days, I became a Tutor in Economics , this was where the passion was ignited. Although I never thought I will be a University lecturer. I started my Career officially as Lecturer 1 in the University of Lagos, before I resigned to continue in the University of Benin. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PROCESS OF ATTAINING YOUR PROFESSORSHIP? It was quite difficult but easy. This is because I was made to produce publications in local journals, National and international Journals which required a lot of time and researches. Although as at when I was a senior lecturer, I already had some of the qualifications. In the process of attaining Professorship, my Social Life was forfeited, as I had to be focused, during the period, but by God’s grace, I am here today. PROFESSORSHIP IS THE HIGHEST ACADEMIC RANKING. RECENTLY, THERE HAVE BEEN ALLEGATIONS ON PROFESSORS FOR RIGGING ELECTION. WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THIS? Well, I do not know how true that allegation is, but If it is true, it is disappointing. There are certain stages in life that you do not soil your hands. Professors are well respected in the Society and there are certain things they should not be found doing. Irrespective, it should not be generalized that all Professors are involved in such corrupt practices. I Know of Several Professors who will not compromise their integrity for any reason. One of them is My VC, Prof. Mrs. Lilian Salami. She is very trustworthy and posseses integrity. Therefore she has a reputable name that she maintains and I can unapologetically attest to that. |
ASUU/AAU RESPONDS TO THE PRESS RELEASE, “ON THE SALARY SITUATION IN AMBROSE ALLI UNIVERSITY, EKPOMA” BY THE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT. It is no longer news that the Edo State-owned Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma for a long period of time has been in the news as a result of default in the payment of salaries of workers, staff unions’ check-off dues and other deductions from the emoluments of workers. The salary crisis is a symptom of the dysfunction of management or administration of a university, particularly in the twenty-first century. This issue has ignited local strike actions by staff unions in the University with particular reference to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) from 25th March, 2021 - 31st May, 2021 and on 14th February, 2022. The immediate-past Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Benson Osadolor attempted to apprehend the problem by adopting a civilized principle of industrial relations, namely, dialogue with the various staff unions in the University in order to broker peace and restore industrial harmony in the University. Prof. Benson Osadolor’s approach led to a Memorandum of Action (MoA) the University reached with ASUU, Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma Chapter on 31st May, 2021 over the problem - payment of outstanding salaries of staff. A proviso in the MoA permitted ASUU to embark on strike in the event of the University failing to pay arrears of salaries of members of the Union. In handling the salary crisis, Prof. Benson Osadolor was fair, sincere, humane and showed undisguised willingness and readiness to put an end to the salary crisis in the University. He was an Acting Vice Chancellor of due process, having shown unconditional respect for the Law and Regulations of the University. The reality in the University at that time supports the fact that if Prof. Benson Osadolor was allowed to stay and supported with the necessary funds for running of the University, he would have stabilized things and restored industrial harmony in the University. The Union is aware of how those who are presently at the helm of affairs of the University scuttled the Administration of Prof. Benson Osadolor through the marketing of lies, falsehood and blackmail, and eventually took the impossible task of running the University on self-sustenance policy. The University under the administration of Prof. Benson Osadolor was tolerant of dissenting perspectives and views. His administrative style was devoid of lies, impunity, blackmail, falsehood, misinformation, vindictiveness, propaganda, pettiness, intimidation, victimization and repression that have become the defining administrative styles in the University presently. From all indications, it is axiomatic that the present University Administration under Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin is out to ruin the University by its unrepentant penchant to cover managerial incompetence with lies, propaganda, blackmail and distortion of issues to deliberately conceal the truth about the salary crisis and sundry problems in the University. The University’s recent press release in the social media captioned, “On the salary situation in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma” purportedly authored by the Acting Registrar of the University, Mr. Ambrose E. Odiase, for and on behalf of the University Management, lends credence to this fact. ASUU, AAU, Ekpoma is constrained to respond to the aforesaid press release because it contains malicious lies, propaganda, blackmail and distortion of issues about the salary crisis and other problems bedeviling the University too dangerous to ignore. Previously, when the Union reacted to the rumour that the University had paid salaries and arrears of salaries of over 504 teaching and non-teaching staff in AAU as at 3rd March, 2023, one thought that the rumour was masterminded by faceless groups or individuals. Behold, from the Press release by the University, the identity of the owners of the rumour is clear. Obviously, the rumour on salary payment in the University was synthesized to confuse and mislead members of the University community and the general public. The contradictory arguments of the University Management in the aforementioned press release cannot wish away the truth about the present insensitive regime of selective payment of salaries in the University. As the Union earlier disclosed, the University for a long period of time defaulted in regular payment of salaries. This issue ignited local strike actions by staff unions in the University. The multitude of protesting workers, which the University Management disdainfully described as “politicians’ poster boys” are staff of the University who have not been paid salaries by the University Administration for several months (14 months and less) for no just cause. It is absurd to think that they protested against the University for paying all their salaries. The lies are obvious because it is verifiable that over fifty (50) per cent of members of ASUU have been deliberately denied payment of salaries by the University Administration for 14, 11, 8 and other categories of months (January - December 2022 and January 2023) for no just cause. Was there strike in January 2022 and early February 2022? All members of our Union returned to work in October 2022 after the suspension of ASUU national strike. Have these members been paid for these months outside the current February 2023 salary payment which selectively excluded majority of our members from the payment? Many staff of the University (both academic and non-academic staff) have complained of been left out in the payment schedules for February 2023 and other preceding months. The Union is aware that the University Administration has adopted the practice of selective payment of monthly salaries to emasculate, frustrate and cow many staff over the salary crisis. The Union is convinced that the selective payment of salaries of staff was created by the University Administration to unduly batter some staff perceived as their "enemies". Is it justifiable for the University Administration to embark on such maltreatment of some staff when they have not been convicted of any misconduct/gross misconduct or violation of the University's Rules and Regulations? The Union insists that the reality in AAU, Ekpoma as at 10th March, 2023 is widespread agitation, anguish and grief as a result of the vicious continuation of selective payment of staff salaries by the University Administration, leaving huge amounts of unpaid salary arrears and unremitted deductions. The Union challenges the University Administration to make good its threat to publish the list of those who have so far been paid on a monthly basis, starting with January 2022. It is disheartening to note that the University Administration has consistently used the policy of no-work-no-pay as an excuse for its failure to regularly pay the wages of staff. The Acting Vice Chancellor should be reminded that only retrogressive and anti-workers employers and managers of workers take delight in punishing workers with the policy of no-work-no-pay for no just reason(s). Before becoming an Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin participated in several ASUU strike actions in the University. He got all his salaries paid during the period of the strike without qualms. The present Acting Registrar of the University, Mr. Ambrose Odiase was at a certain time in the history of the University, the Chairman of the University’s Chapter of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU). In his time as chairman of a trade union, several industrial actions, including strike were prosecuted by him. He was not denied his salary for a day, not to talk of months. Today, he is not only at the forefront of the onslaught against workers over strike, but also a willing megaphone of anti-workers' policies in the University. What a contradiction! Several times, the Acting Vice Chancellor, in particular, has made reference to the implementation of the policy of no-work-no-pay in Federal universities in Nigeria over the recently suspended national strike by ASUU without examining the situation in sister state universities. We strongly advise Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin to reach out to his counterparts in state universities in Nigeria to know if he is actually fair to his colleagues in AAU, Ekpoma against the backdrop of his justification of non-payment of the salaries of his colleagues under the cover of no-work-no-pay. Among state universities that participated in the recently suspended ASUU strike, the policy of no-work-no-pay was not implemented in Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State; Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri, Imo State; Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijebu Ode, Ogun State; Sule Lamido University (SLU), Jigawa State; Yobe State University (YSU), Damaturu, Yobe State; Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi, Nasarawa State; Niger Delta University (NDU), Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State: Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ekiti State; Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba (AAUA), Ondo State and others. Why is the Administration of AAU, Ekpoma celebrating negativity? It a shame that where other university managements are celebrating ground-breaking and earth-shaking feats, the Management in AAU, Ekpoma keeps celebrating its ability to selectively pay salary. This display of unfettered hatred for ASUU must stop. It seems the Management of AAU, Ekpoma has forgotten the Memorandum of Action (MoA) it reached with ASUU, AAU, Ekpoma on 31st May, 2021 over payment of outstanding salaries of staff. A proviso in the MoA permitted ASUU to embark on strike in the event of a breach of the MoA by the University in terms of payment of arrears of salaries of members of the Union. Thus, the University Administration has both moral and legal burdens to contend with in respect of payment of outstanding salaries and cannot preach and implement the policy of no-work-no-pay. After all, when the University Administration owed several months of arrears of salaries of staff, the Union members did not stop work. Edo State Government circular dated 8th June, 2022 (also misinterpreted by the University Administration) stated that the University Administration should pay all outstanding salaries of staff forthwith, that is, all arrears of salaries predating 8th June, 2022. The University Administration failed to comply, but embarked on selective payment of salaries of staff without any justification. The way out of the salary crisis is for the University Administration to embrace truth, refrain from politicization of salary payment and pay all outstanding salaries of staff without further delay. The current posture of the University Administration is far from being the recipe for industrial peace and the desired development of the University. The response of the University Administration to the issue of remittance of deductions of Unions’ dues is a confirmation of the assertion by ASUU that the University Administration intentionally stopped the remittance of check-off dues to the Unions to emasculate and destroy trade unionism in the University. For over twenty seven (27) months, the University Administration violently violated provisions of the Trade Unions Act in relation to deduction and remittance of check-off dues. The attention of the University Administration is hereby drawn to Section 17 of the Trade Unions Act 2005 which is unambiguous about deductions from wages of union members by employers. The aforesaid section states inter alia: Upon the registration and recognition of any of the trade unions specified in the Third Schedule to this Act, the employer shall - (a) make deductions from the wages of every worker who is a member of any of the trade unions for the purpose of paying contributions to the trade union so registered; and (b) remit such deductions to the registered office of the trade union within a reasonable period or such period as may be prescribed from time to time by the Registrar”. The violation of Section 17(a)(b) of the Trade Unions Act 2005 by the University Administration is actionable. The Union is worried that the biometrics verification exercise for staff conducted by the Edo State Government in collaboration with the University Administration with effect from September 2021 is being used to blackmail and intimidate staff and as an alibi for failure to meet financial obligations to workers in the University. The offensive term “ghost workers” has emerged to cover up selective payment of salaries of staff. How many staff have been tried and found guilty of not participating in the biometrics verification exercise or meeting the requirements for the exercise to warrant their exclusion from the University’s payroll? This is sheer deception. Can the University Administration under the leadership of Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin be sincere for once to clarify the identities of the “ghost workers”? For instance, can a worker who has been doing his or her job diligently for all this period in terms of teaching, research, supervision of students, marking of scripts, attendance of statutory meetings and representation of the Acting Vice Chancellor in Appraisal Panels be classified as a “ghost worker”? Denying him or her of his salary after working is a big sin on the part of those responsible for the wicked phenomenon. In particular, this confirms that incompetence, impunity and disregard for the University's laws and regulations reign supreme under the present University Administration. Otherwise, how do you remove people’s names from the University payroll without their knowledge, due process and circular? As a Union, we believe that the issue of “ghost workers” is a figment of the University Management's imagination. Also, the declaration of persons who the University Management claimed have been removed from the payroll as “ghost workers” on account of their “refusal” to appear for the staff biometrics verification exercise is a clear indication of witch-hunt and the secret implementation of the controversial and inconclusive exercise orchestrated by the University Administration. The Union foresees many challenges in the days ahead for the University Administration on this issue. The pronouncement of the industrial court on the biometrics verification exercise for staff was misrepresented by the Acting Registrar of the University, if he actually wrote the piece by himself. It is a mere gimmick! The requirement of First School Leaving Certificate for the biometrics verification exercise was made optional by Edo State Government and published by the University Administration for the information of all staff. The Union has incontrovertible evidence to support this point. Why is the aforesaid requirement still an issue for the biometrics if not for mischief and blackmail? The University Administration should note in particular that the ancient, odorous and impotent lie that the Chairman of ASUU, AAU, Ekpoma, Dr. Cyril Onogbosele surreptitiously participated in the biometrics verification exercise with presentation of First School Leaving Certificate has not been able to move an ant hill for centuries. It is unfortunate that pettiness and blackmail have embraced to give an ugly badge to a supposed University Administrator. What a shame! We dare the mischief-makers to produce or publish a copy of the imaginary First School Leaving Certificate in the sky for all to see. The Union is shocked that the University Administration could degenerate to this level of lies and misinformation to cause division in the ranks of members of the Union. They have failed in this line of thought. On the whole, there is no doubt that the University is facing a humongous crisis of salary payment and maladministration. Let the Edo State Government probe into these crises in the University to unmask the created mystery about the (salary) crisis in the University. The Union thinks that the instrument of lies, propaganda, misinformation, falsehood, blackmail, witch-hunt and victimisation presently being deplored by the University Administration of Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyin will not resolve the hydra-headed problems of the University. At best, it will keep the University permanently on the throes of confusion, instability and possible disaster. This Release is issued for and on behalf of ASUU, AAU, Ekpoma Chapter. The release is issue for and on behalf of ASUU/AUU Ekpoma chapter and published by Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, President of One Love Foundation. |
Labor Party Chieftain in charge mobilization in Diaspora, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, has debunked Information claiming that the Governor of the State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki is set to meet with the following House of Assembly candidates of the Party at the Old festival hall Government House: Hon. Kelly Ogbalor who denied such . “We don’t want a spoiler in our party. We want to advice the public that we are ready for the forthcoming election. and we are not entertaining alliance with any party.” “We want the public to disregard such rumor. As a matter of fact, none of our candidates will attend any meeting with Gov Obaseki and his Cabinets, without the knowledge of the party chieftains , the state Chairman or National Chairman.” He said. He also debunked the rumors going around that the Governor sponsored people into Labor Party , According to him the party is independent and there are no such arrangements with the Governor. He further revealed that the Obaseki led administration, also took LP candidates to court, accusing them of failure to hold primaries. Labor Party Chieftain, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, has on Wednesday 22-2-23, expressed satisfaction on the Labor Party’s flagbearers constant reiterated promises, to revive the Nigerian Economy at all cost, if elected President. “I am impressed to hear Mr. Peter Obi continually speaking about fixing the Nigerian eeconomy just like other world economies as Vietnam and Malaysia with little or no natural resources but have relatively descent exports” Eholor also said “It is so sad that Nigeria is doomed with poor leadership, and that is one of the worst challenges fueling corruption in the country and this has been linked to various politicians who have made Nigeria a failed state.” Speaking further, he quoted the late Martin Luther King Jr. “ If a man has no job or an income, he has no life or liberty in the pursuit of happiness. He merely exists.” Dr. Patrick also said that we must put an end to massive corruption and leaders with no foresight. It’s a shame for a country with undiluted natural resources with no countable achievements, poor health care, schools and social amenities. “The average Nigerian kids does not only lack good nutrition, but he or she has never seen a doctor, this is a surprise and pathetic for a country like Nigeria, I must confess that it is not healthy for us to continue like this, most of our leaders have been liars and thieves. Religion is one of the problems we are facing as majority are very poor financially and academically, this make many of them looking for miracles because of the failed governments. The pastors are getting rich every day on the expense of the poor, the Imams are also buying houses across the world then Who is fooling who? It’s time for us to collectively take our country back, you cannot fool a crowd forever.” He said. “However, let us remember voting is our civic responsibility. If you do not vote you have no right to complain about any bad governance, therefore let us forget about religion, ethnicity let us vote for the man of the people. Remember, education is not a privilege, it is a right for any child, health care is not also for the rich only. I have lived in Canada for over 35 years of my life l, medical care is for the rich and for the poor unlike in Nigeria.” |
The Democracy Observer General of the Federation, has said that Politicians in Nigeria, have been the problem in Nigeria as he commented on the order of Oshiomole ‘s arrest by Governor Godwin Obaseki. Chief Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, said the victims of the riot in Benin City on Wednesday 15,2023, didn’t have to die that way, he also said the people are angry and bitter with the situation of things in the Country, however Riot is not the best way to go about it. He blamed the President and the CBN Governor for being adamant in enforcing a good policy with a very bad implementation. In reacting to Oshiomole’s case, he tagged it as a Misbehaviour on the APC chieftains path, saying that the former Governor should have left the stage when his ovation was loudest. Stating that Edo people have accessed that he has failed and this gave room for all that has happened. Adding that it’s a shame as well for Governor Obaseki who is no different from him, to be calling for his arrest. The Human Rights Activist said Protests are done with our voice and placard, not matchetes and deadly weapons. So the Soldiers and Police cannot be blamed totally, they had their jobs to discharge, they are also humans, and they need to protect us and themselves too”. He stated. He further recommended that the Military and Police should approach issues like this with diplomacy, in order to avoid too much killings, adding that they should adopt the use of rubber bullets or teasers instead of pulling the trigger. “ For those burning the banks, how do you get your money back? If any politician is using you to do this, tell them to bring their children alongside others. “Most of their children are not here in Nigeria, your life is as meaningful as the lives of Tinubu, Oshiomole and Peter Obi and others, he hoped the narrative changes and destruction with your party.” He said. He further listed Tribalism, nepotism and favouritism as the mother of Corruption as he blamed President Buhari for his failure to kill corruption as he earlier promised. |

Several reactions have continued to trail a video of an interview between Seun Okinbaloye of Channels Television and Comrade Adams Oshiomole. In the video Comr. Adams affirmed that the CBN is not responsible for coordinating free and fair elections . In reacting to this Statement The Ultimate equal lambast Oshiomole for doing a disservice to the Ruling APC by condemning the monetary policy in an interview on Monday , Feb. 5th 2023, at his residence in Benin City. During the discussion, while commenting on the Monetary Policy, Chief Patrick expressed dissatisfaction in most policies of the Central Bank of Nigeria . however, he stated that he is in full support of the cashless policy. Staring further that is not new , as he recounts a similar experience in India, when citizens where asked to turn in their old currency for new ones within four hours. “It’s something that we need to need to do. The CBN Governor cannot be blamed for Lack of banks in rural areas as Oshiomole accused, The Governor should not be blamed for the scarcity in new Naira notes, the EFCC and ICPC have arrested some bankers on this note. We have over six trillion out there and only three trillion has been received , because some corrupt people are selfishly hoarding it. “ Oshiomole should leave the Stage when the Ovation is loudest. He was a Labour leader and he has made the Union to be useless to Society. Although we are feeling the pains now, I think the policy is very good if we persist we will enjoy it”. He stated . He also said the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is in panic because of the change. He also commented on the assumption of the APC Chieftain that the president was deceived by the CBN Governor into making the decision of the new naira redesign, and the Nation adopting the cashless policy. “ I disagree with Oshiomole and I am of the believe that the President was quite aware of it. There’s Veto power and I believe the senate was also aware of this decision . Although the decision doesn’t Favour buying of vote with bouillon vans” At the end of the Interview, he advised voters to be civil and responsible, respect the Law and report any abnormalities in the Electoral process. |

The general public is warned that Nosa Richie Eholor and Kelvin Oghowmen Eholor, both supposed to be my children until I found out after doing a DNA test that I was duped by their mother. It is a long story I am not doing this out of hatred, I love them with all my heart." According to the Canadian Resident, in a bid to have his Sons to reside in Canada, he conducted a mandatory DNA test which is a key requirement for migration in Canada. But to his uttermost surprise, the DNA test results came out negative twice. "I was compelled, DNA was very expensive it was about $10,000 to DNA test in Vancouver just to prove them wrong because it was hard to believe that Taiye would do such a thing and I loved her so much but she was not promiscuous, she would not hurt me or hurt herself" he said. He also disclosed that as at the time of the DNA Test, but I was the biological father of my other children, I don't want to mention their name for privacy reason." "I consulted my wife Taiye "Please tell me why you did this to me". She told me that "she's one in a billion who have a special blood that the doctor does not know what they are saying", but you know that DNA will exonerate you in some special investigative case. I was very confused at that moment and at the same time I was trusting God for his blessings, I could not deal with it alone, I had to call a family meeting on the subject matter that both children are not mine and she knows the fact but she lied to me, now let us look for their father because the children will be having some problems here every time because this is a spiritual and emotional thing, but Women are very deep, they hold on to their secret and take it to grave but I could not hold on to mine because I am a man. "I am writing this because I believe my life story is an interesting one, I cannot be in this world fighting and then when I'm not here again I will still be fighting in my grave because some women will come out and bring children that have not been proven by DNA that they are my children and I do not want my biological children to have conflict when I leave this world, my wife who have been a beacon of hope to me, I do not want her to have any difficulty when I pass on." Dr. Eholor further said "No one is sure of forever living on earth but I do not want to take this for granted so I therefore want to tell the general public that whatever you do to these two people, you are not doing it because they bare the same name with me or the same likeness for me but you are doing it at your own detriment so please I love these two individuals so much but they are not my biological children. Therefore, do not transact any business with my company, with my personal relationship with you, or any other circumstances without verification from me or without looking at this disclaimer you will be taking a very serious risk." Chief Dr. Eholor added. "I am not doing this because of family problem or inheritance problem, we are the Binis and we follow tradition to the later, in our tradition we don't take a child that is not our biological child but we can adopt, we do this because of our ancestors. I am doing this for peace sake because I don't want to leave any issue behind when I depart from this world." At the time of gathering this fact, during the press conference today, Eholor takes time to encourage others who are passing through the same not to see it as the end of their life, that it could sounds unhealthy emotionally, but that is one of the challenges of life, whosoever that found himself in this should try to bear it, he has come out to use his case to counsel other people to be bold enough to call the children, the woman and whom it may concern and tell them the result then walk away or stay if you want. Dr. Eholor finally said he is going to use his foundation "One Love Foundation" to pioneer a platform where he would be counseling those who are having the same or similar stories that the outcome should not make the victims to be depressed or commit suicide. |
The Democracy Observer General and The President of One Love Foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, Has recently shown interest in case RE: SUIT NO.HEK/MISC/16/202 B/2/OS/13: TONY ABUMERE OKONIGENE V. THE GOVERNOR OF EDO STATE & 2 ORS. The Case which is between the aforementioned parties originated from Governor Obaseki’s decision to handpick and appoint persons which were not democratically elected to administer and manage the Affairs of the Local Government Council in Edo State Describing his interest in the case Eholor said “Edo people are not stupid. There is nothing like liason Officers within the local government. The governor should appoint a care taker committee or conduct an election. But he is now known for hand-picking people to continue with Liason in the local governments, Which is wrong”. Chief Eholor remarked that the act will tarnish the Edo PDP as he did Edo APC, as he vowed to challenge him to court, reiterating that there’s nothing like Liason in Edo state. However, Ultimate Equal calls on the judiciary to maintain fair judgement in their works and exercise freedom of justice which is their birthright especially on this present case below. The Case reads: NOTIFICATION OF PENDING JUDGMENT WHEREIN THE COURT DECLARED INTER ALIA THAT THE GOVERNOR OF EDO STATE LACKS THE POWER TO HANDPICK OR RECOMMEND PERSONS NOT DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED TO BE SCREENED OR RATIFIED BY THE EDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPOINTING PERSONS AS CARETAKER OR TRANSITION COMMITTEE MEMBERS TO ADMINISTER AND/OR MANAGE THE AFFAIRS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL IN EDO STATE. PREFACE: We have been briefed and our services retained as Solicitors to MR. TONY ABUMERE OKONIGENE (hereinafter referred to as “our Client”) at whose behest we make these telling representations to your good self. This letter is tailored to formally intimate you of the pendency and subsistence of the Judgment referenced above wherein the Edo State High Court coram: Hon. Justice T. Akomolafe-Wilson in its Judgment delivered on 16th day of May, 2012 declared inter alia that the Governor of Edo State lacks the power to handpick or recommend persons not democratically elected to be screened or ratified by the Edo State House of Assembly for the purpose of appointing persons as caretaker or transition committee members to administer and/or manage the affairs of Local Government Council in Edo State. FACTUAL MATRIX Our Client briefed us and we verily believed him that the action was commenced via Originating Summons seeking for the determination of the following questions to wit: “Whether by virtue of section 7(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended on the 10th day of January, 2011, the 1st Defendant may and/or should nominate, recommend, handpick, appoint and/or continue the appointment of unelected persons or caretaker or transition committee members to administer and/or manage the affairs of Local Government Council in Edo State indefinitely? Whether by virtue s.7(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended) on the 10th day of January, 2011, it is not ultra vires the powers of the 2nd Defendant to further grant an extension of the tenure of the local Government Transition Committee in Edo State for the 1st Defendant indefinitely? Whether the provision of section 10(4)-(10) of the Local Government Amendment Law 2000 as amended is still subsisting having regard to the bold and courageous judgment of erudite Hon. Justice E.F. Ikponmwen delivered on 30th day of May, 2007 in suit No.B/115/2007 between Edo State Independent Electoral Commission & 7 Ors and His Excellency the Governor of Edo State & 2 Ors? Whether the resolution of the 2nd Defendant made at its sittings on Wednesday, the 1st day of June, 2011 further approving the extension of the tenure of the Local Government Transition Committee in Edo State indefinitely pending when the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission will ready to conduct election into Local Government Council in Edo State pursuant to Edo State Local Government Law 2000 as amended which provides for a period of not more than three months?” Having distilled these questions, the Plaintiffs, qua, counsel proceeded to seek the following reliefs against the Defendants jointly and severally: “A declaration that by virtue of section 7(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended on the 10th day of January, 2011, the 1st Defendant lacks the powers to handpick, recommend persons not democratically elected to be screened or ratified by the 2nd Defendant for the purpose of appointing the persons as members of Local Government Transition members in Edo State of Nigeria? A declaration that the resolution of the 2nd Defendant made at its sittings on Wednesday the 1st day of June, 2011, further approving tenure extension of the local Government Transition Committee in Edo State for the 1st Defendant indefinitely pending the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission will be ready to conduct election into Local Government Council in Edo State pursuant to Edo State Local Government Law 2000 as amended, is based on non-existing law, vague, uncertain, unconstitutional, invalid, null and void and of no effect whatsoever as same clearly violates the civil rights and obligations of the Plaintiff. A declaration that the extension of appointment of members of Transition committee into Local Government Council in Edo State indefinitely pursuant to the resolution of the 2nd Defendant made at its sitting on Wednesday the 1st day of June, 2020 is vague, uncertain, unconstitutional, invalid, null and void and of no effect whatsoever. An order setting aside the purported resolution of the 2nd Defendant made at its sitting on Wednesday the 1st day of June, 2020 further approving tenure extension of the local Government Transition Committee in Edo State for the 1st Defendant indefinitely pending the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission will be ready to conduct election into Local Government Council in Edo State pursuant to Edo State Local Government Law 2000 as amended. An order of injunction restraining the 2nd Defendant from further granting an extension of appointment the tenure of Local Government Transition Committee in Edo State to the 1st Defendant.” 4. That upon careful bisection, dissection and consideration of the evidence on record and the law on the subject matter, the Edo State High Court coram: Hon. Justice T. Akomolafe-Wilson in its Judgment delivered on 16th day of May, 2012, answered the questions distilled in the Originating Summons (copiously quoted above) in favour of the Plaintiff (our client herein) and reliefs sought therefrom were consequently granted as supplicated by our Client. 5. That a death knell sounded on our client’s latest theory when he saw and read on various social media handles that you have handpicked, nominated, recommended or selected some persons not democratically elected to be screened or ratified by the Edo State House of Assembly (who were the 2nd Defendant in the above referenced Judgment) for the purpose of appointing the persons as members of Local Government Transition Council in Edo State contrary to the soul, spirit and letters of subsisting Judgment of court of competent jurisdiction. LEGAL EFFECTS/IMPLICATIONS With the greatest respect your excellency, this action, is to say the least, a defilement of the Judgment of court of competent jurisdiction variously referenced above. Indeed, it is now firmly settled that court judgments or orders are meant to be obeyed and must be obeyed even if such order(s) is perverse until set aside by a superior court. The decision to handpick, select or nominate persons not democratically elected into the Local Government Transition Council in Edo State is in contempt of the Judgment referenced above, id est, contempt exfacie curiae and amount to executive rascality. To allow this to pass and stand, will cascade the society to the Hobbesian state of nature where life was brutish, nasty and short. DEMANDS/REQUISITIONS In view of the foregoing, we have our client’s instructions to respectfully supplicate and/or requisition your good self to disassociate your esteemed personality from this ignoble act and discontinue with the action or decision to handpick, select or nominate persons not democratically elected into the Local Government Transition Council in Edo State with immediate effect as there is a subsisting final judgment of court of competent jurisdiction on the subject matter hanging on the State like the sword of Damocles, in respect of which there is no pending appeal. Please, accept the assurances of our esteemed professional regards. Yours faithfully, Pp: Neplus Ultra Attorneys Dr. Eholor fighting for democracy refers to Obaseki as a dictator says Tony Abumere case against Obaseki must treated with justice. Anderson U. The founder and President of One Love Foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, has in reaction to Burna boy's recent Saga, Pledged to reach out to Grammy, Human Rights commission and others, to bring Burna Boy to justice as seen in America and other part of the World. This comes after the Singer insulted Fans who waited patiently for a concert in the early hours of Monday. Although Burna boy took to his Social media page to apologise just for his late arrival, however, he displayed no remorse for the hurtful words he uttered to his fans and concerning the Cubana Club shooting allegations. Some Nigerians, perceived the apology to be false, saying that it might be a Public Relations Strategy as it was seasoned with so much Arrogancy. In an interview with our correspondent, The Human Rights fighter Commended other Nigerian Artists for adding Character to their Talent, he made mention of the likes of Kiss Daniel, Asake, Fireboy, Don Jazzy, Tems, amongst others. He also disclosed that another letter has been sent to an International show organizer with name undisclosed, to remove Burna Boy's name from the performing list. He further urged Nigerians to do the right things by ignoring Burna Boy's music and Promote Artist with Good and Commendable Virtues such as the fantastic artists aforementioned.

Once a Bully, always A Bully Despite purposeful Disrepect, Burna Boy has publicly slammed his fans for allegations on Cubana Club Shooting and others. He did this in a Concert held on Sunday in Lagos. According to reports, the singer arrived at the concert — billed to start by 9 pm on Sunday — around 4 am on Monday. When Burna Boy eventually turned up, he was seen calling out some of his fans for accusing him of shooting someone at a Lagos nightclub and claiming his mother once danced for Fela. The ‘Last Last’ singer said he would not have shown up for the concert if not for Seyi Vibez who convinced him. “Just to show you say I still love una. If not for Seyi Vibez, I for don dey go house,” he said. “But I dey here for una, after una don talk say I kill person for Cubana, after una talk say my mama dance for Fela, after una don talk say…no wahala, I still love you, na why I still dey here, if you like no love me, na God go punish you.” In another video, he also slammed fans for cursing him in the past. He added that if not for his love for them, he would not have performed at the show. “Omo, no cap ooo, this is just to minimise they day when una dey curse me. If I dey lie right now, make God punish me, if no lie make God punish you. If na you be me, you no go come back. I no fit vex for una, I love una too much,” he added. Concerned Nigerians took to their Twitter pages to condemn the act. A tweep, @JoeyAkan wrote, “Burna Boy to White People: “My Africans are suffering. Dance to my music, brand me a reformer and reward me financially. Burna Boy to the suffering Africans: “God punish una.” @Vibes_doctor also wrote, “Imagine what burna boy had to say. Zero apologies. He really thinks the concert was a favor to Nigerians.” Another tweep, @ade_adeayo tweeted, “The situation on ground. Almost 2AM and Burna Boy’s concert is basically yet to start. Some people have been around since 9PM. For an artiste with the highest level of international exposure, this is beyond terrible and unprofessional.” How much did you guys pay to hear Burna Boy say God will punish you people on the first day of 2023? @wakawaka_doctor wrote. @unpr3dictabl3K also tweeted, “Not sure when these Artists & Organisers will learn to respect our precious time. 2:03 AM and no Burna Boy on sight. No supporting act. Even the DJ seems as tired as everyone else. Didn’t know we were in for a full Night Vigil.” Lastly, Olamide0fficial tweeted, “Burna Boy called Nigerians “Unprogressive fools”. After coming late for his show, he still had the effrontery to say God go punish people that paid for it. This same man will still come here to sing about oppression/oppressors when he’s no different from the people he criticized.” Recall that the President of One Love Foundation Chief. Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, in reaction to the Cubana Club-shooting, has been advocating for Justice. In a previous publication, One love foundation Predicted that If Burna Boy was not sanctioned by the constituted authorities, he might do worse than the Club Shooting. These recent Happenings are a further fulfilment of that prediction. "Tory Lanez was recently jailed for shooting, R.Kelly, Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson and others were jailed, they are not bigger than the law, Burna Boy also should face the consequences of the allegations against him, he is not God, he is not bigger than the Nigerians. I loved his song but I lost interest in his songs, I cannot be listening to that kind of person, I have diverted my attention to some others that respect fans, who respect women and humble not to be above the law. We are not agitating for wishing him bad but we rather do it to wish the less privileged Nigerians peace of mind. If Burna Boy face the consequences, it is to correct him like others I just mentioned." Chief Dr. Eholor added. In a video going Viral, he claimed he showed up to the Concert that Fans paid to watch, not because of obligation but because of his love for them. But the irony lingers around why he slammed his beloved fans wishing them the punishment of God in a New Year. Although there are several other composed Artists with so much respect for their fans in the lines of Asake, Arya Star, Tems, Olamide, zeenolensky and Don Jazzy amongst others, As at the time of filing this report, no Artist has publicly reacted to this. Burma boy must be stopped n sanctioned otherwise, the next victim of his bullying might even be someone close to this reader. #LetBurnaRespectFans #BurnaBrutality #BurnacurseFans #EndSocietalBrutality

The deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, South-South, Chief Dan Orbih has finally commented on Edo state PDP crises. He did so at the annual Edo PDP Christmas/New Year Party in his Country Home of Ogbona in Auchi. During the Celebration, the Chairman disclosed that a Commitee was set up in resolution of the Crisis with Gov. Ortom as the Chairman of the Committee with the party's deputy flag bearer Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Bala Mohammed and other members of the committee, and it was agreed upon for Governor Godwin Obaseki to produce 13 members of the State House of Assembly, against the entire 24 slots which he seeks to usurp. He described the governor's act as a clue that Obaseki wanted no settlement. He also noted that the Edo South Senatorial ticket was agreed by National of the party to be handed over to Hon. Ogbeide Ihama as a Compensation for his step down in the 2020 Gubernatorial race, which enabled Godwin Obaseki to obtain the Party's ticket at no cost. While the two other senatorial slots wee assigned to Legacy group and Obaseki. He futher debunked allegations that himself and Hon. Ogbeide Ihama collected the sum of $300,000 from Governor Obaseki. According to him, Dep. GOV. PHILIP SHAIBU said Gov. Obaseki demanded $300,000 from him to make up funds to settle Hon. Ogbeide Ihama for the Governorship ticket given to Obaseki , only to discover that the ticket came at no cost. Neither did Hon. Ihama request any compensation for stepping down. In reaction to this shocking revelation, One Love foundation President , Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as Ultimate Equal, during an interview, advised people contesting under the aegis of PDP in Edo State who are aligned with Obaseki. He described them as hard-working and admonished r them to be awaken to the deceit. Adding that from Dan Obih’s statement, it has become very glaring that the correct list with INEC is that of Chief Dan Orbih. Moreover, the Governor cannot be trusted for lying to his Deputy. He described the PDP chieftain as the greatest opposition who fought Oshiomole to a stand still, and Commended Chief Dan ,for always engaging in the emancipation of his people for truth and honesty. As he affirms that Gov. Obaseki has met his match but he has refused to accept. “Chief Dan Orbih is known all around the country for his consistency in always fighting for a just cause . Over the years, he and myself have fought several battles against Oshiomole and we are are an incredible force to be reckoned with in Edo state, Nigeria and perhaps international. “It's game over for Obaseki, he has met his match. Anyway since it's a party conflict, he should come out plain aand Apologise so that some of his candidates can be carried along to avoid waste of funds, got electoral ambitions”. He said Since the Party’s primaries, the PDP has suffered series of unending Crisis which is allegedly fueled by clash of interest which has left Several chapters in Chaos resulting from Crises. Amongst several crises is the tussle for chairmanship position in the Party, which eventually led to the birth of G-5 Governors. According to several reports Sen. Iyorchia Ayu’s refusal to step down as national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is likely to cost the Presidential Candidate his chances of winning. |
Tory Lanez who is guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot back in 2020 has finally been sentenced in prison for his action. On Friday, just before the holiday where a group of L.A. jurors found the Canadian rapper guilty of all three charges against him -- felony negligent discharge of a firearm, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm. www.tmz.com reported that After the verdict was read, several members of Tory's family -- including his dad and stepmom -- shouted, "This system stands before God!" and calling the court system evil. Deputies surrounded his family members and escorted them out of the courtroom. Tory was filmed entering court before the verdict was read, telling cameras his spirits were high. Tory now faces more than 22 years in prison, which will be determined during sentencing on January 27. Sources connected to the case tell us Tory's lawyers were in touch with immigration officials -- before the guilty verdict -- and we're told they've been informed there's a strong likelihood he will be forced to leave the country. This marks the conclusion of a wild 2 weeks in court, which saw a handful of witnesses take the stand to recount what they say happened on that fateful night. Megan herself obviously testified, squarely pointing the finger at Tory as the shooter. She also said she saw Tory with the gun, explaining she remembers him firing at her from his Cadillac Escalade ... and claims he shouted, "Dance, bitch!" MTS also testified that Tory offered her $1 million to keep quiet. Meg was called out by the defense for several items, including the fact she initially wasn't forthright about having an intimate relationship with Tory Lanez, and that she'd initially lied to police about how her feet had gotten injured. Meanwhile, www.tmz.com also reported the case about R. Kelly's team calling the police alleging that hundreds of his master recordings were stolen ... and now his camp thinks that could be behind the unauthorized release of the new "I Admit It" album. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, the Kelly master recordings were reported missing back in February ... swiped from an Illinois storage facility. Cops say a man named Keith Calbert called to report a theft, telling officers he oversees the Kelly property being stored in the warehouse. Calbert told police several hundred of Kelly's recordings were missing, and he valued them in the millions of dollars. It's interesting ... cops say Calbert told them 2 roadies removed the masters from the warehouse 9 months prior, and took them to California. Police say Calbert also told them he had advised one of the roadies to bring back the recordings ... but was told he needed to pay $160,000 for their return. Police say Calbert showed them 10 empty shelves he said used to be full, and estimated between 300 to 500 missing recordings. The police investigation didn't go anywhere and the case was closed with no arrest. "However, this same R. Kelly was sentenced to jail for rape allegations. He tried to use his fame, fortune and enablers to prey on the young, the vulnerable and the voiceless for his own sexual gratification, while many turned a blind eye,” stated U.S. Attorney Peace. “Through his actions, Kelly exhibited a callous disregard for the devastation his crimes had on his victims and has shown no remorse for his conduct. With today’s sentence he has finally and appropriately been held accountable for his decades of abuse, exploitation and degradation of teenagers and other vulnerable young people. Moreover, in June this year, A concerned citizen, an activist, the president of One love Foundation International, Chief Patrick Osagie reacted to the incident at Obi Cubana's night club in Lagos. Eholor, who wrote petitions to the Inspector General of Police Nigeria, Human Rights Commission, Grammy Awards, and Nigeria Broadcasting Commission as well as other national forum Using an example of a popular U.S artist, R-Kelly who was recently sentenced 30-years in prisonment over sexual assault, trafficking. He said "despite R-Kelly's fame he was still brought to justice and was sentenced. Same legal decision recently made against Tory Lanez who is found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion and was sentenced to 22yrs in prison. Chief Dr. Eholor in a statement says relating to this aforementioned legal decisions for societal justice which happened in America is not different from Burna Boy's case which no-one is talking about. “It doesn't make it right to allow him go Scott free in a law abiding country like Nigeria. Burna Boy's case is equivalent to Tory’s case which landed him 22 years in prison but left Burna boy roaming on the street freely. It is not different from a loosed lions amongst Men. He should be tamed and kept somewhere to avoid more harms. It's not wickedness that makes us say this but a right way a sane society which respect for the law and it people. America is not better than Nigeria today because of the money or population. It is because of the mind of the people and the system of the government to make things right and respect the Masses. Moreover, following this incident, you can see that no Celebrity has come out to openly condemn the act, neither have the constituted authorities endeavor to take necessary actions. Whereas, I have written allegations about it to Inspector General of Police as well as Grammy awards in America, Human Rights Commission, NBC and some other national parastatal and forum that is in better condition to bring this to justice. Media should stop promoting him, nobody should buy his music, celebrities should come out to condemn him." Eholor concluded.

Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor otherwise known as the Ultimate Equal. Has again, reiterated that the returned Benin Artefacts belongs to the Oba of Benin and not the State government. He made this known in a Phone interview with ACS Correspondent on Wednesday afternoon. All Campus Show reports that Dr. Patrick took to his Social Media page to comment on the return of the stolen Benin Artefacts by Germans. The post which reads: “Artefact belongs to the Oba of Benin not for the Edo people as claimed by Godwin Obaseki", Was made in a bid to Clarify the Bini people on true ownership of the returned Bronze Artifacts . During the phone interview, Patrick disclosed that since the establishment of the Emowa Museum by the State Governor, he alongside others has been in objection of Governor Obaseki’s decision to boycott Royal Family. “ Before Oba Erediawa passed, he told his son who is currently on the throne , that when the Artefacts are returned, they should be brought into the Palace and a Benin Museum should be built in the Palace and not a West African Museum. “We thought the case had rested. Until yesterday when the Germans arrived , and Gov. Obaseki took the Artefacts without the Consent of the Oba of Benin “. As he spoke, he passionately Lamented saying, if he was alive during the first betrayal of Oba Ovonramwen by Agho Obaseki. He would have done all he could to protect his king, even if it meant shedding his blood. He vowed to fight vehemently for the restoration of the Artefacts which were stolen by the British and never to allow history repeat as he promised to reach out to German, British Embassies even the United Nation Organization, further remarking that People are entitled to their Fathers wealth. “ The Artefacts belonged to the Oba until they were stolen, and now that they’re being returned they should be given back to the rightful owners. Which is the Royal Family.” He said. He called on all Benin Sons and Daughter in Nigeria and Diaspora to lend their voices in fighting for this cause. Chief Patrick further asserts that in a bid to Set up the Emowa Museum, The governor had previously made some moves to grab the land of the Nigerian Union of Journalist which was also given as a donation by the Palace a long time ago. Despite the denial from the State government and his aids involved, the incident repeated itself a week ago sent. In reacting to this, the human rights activist sworn to never allow the land to be taken from the NUJ as he disclosed that his Lawyers were already filling a case of Trespass and land grabbing against Governor Obaseki. "Artefact belongs to the Oba of Benin not for the Edo people as claimed by Godwin Obaseki" Dr. Eholor clarifies Benin people on the stolen Artefacts. "Dr. Osagie Eholor who posted on his social media account today written Nigeria was not in existence when the Artefacts was stolen. History should not repeat itself." "I’m calling on all Edo people to join this struggle and bring this back home to the Palace!" "Obaseki has a right to create his Museum (EMOWA), he should go to Igun and create his own bronze after all we can have more than one Museum. But never should he intercept the Oba Artefacts that was stolen!" It was recorded that many times the Artefacts are being returned to the Benin Kingdom, it goes straight to the Oba palace, we all know how the king of Benin Oba Ewuare II celebrates them until recent time that the artefacts were hijacked by the State Governor which is the act of ignorance that the traditional rights should be handled by the tradition. However, we the Nigerian students of All Campus Show platform, Benin Chapter want to appreciate Chief Dr. Osagie Eholor for coming out to shed more light on this, it is a futuristic responsibility resolution which may seems not right now but will definitely benefit us in the future. |
The Democracy Observer General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Founder One Love Foundation, Chief Dr. Patrick Osagie Eholor, otherwise known as the Ultimate equal, has recently lamented the Slow approach engaged in Judicial precedents, in the Nigerian Judicial System. He made this known in a Phone interview with Journalist yesterday, while Reacting to the Conviction of Doyin Okupe a Labor Party Chieftain and Director General of Peter Obi Presidential Council, for breaching the money laundering act. Chief Patrick affirmed that Many Nigerians are quite aware that the case has been on going prior to the Obedient movement. He said the court judgement will have arrived earlier, and the case would have been resolved , if it were not for the slow process in making Judicial decisions. According to him: “you know the judicial system in Nigeria always delay and deny people's justice. If the judiciary was up and doing, this case would have been resolved before now, this has been their usual way of practice because of some of the inefficiency when it comes to trials and litigations of this country. I think that Nigeria judiciary system does not believe that Justice delay is Justice denial, Moving forward the Judiciary should try to ensure that Cases are tried and the verdict is given within a period of 12 months .” He said. In reacting to Okupe’s Conviction, , Dr. Patrick said it will not affect the campaign of The Labor Party as Doyin Okupe is just one of the individuals in the Campaign train. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the situation, Stating that he( Doyin Okupe) would have let someone else lead the campaign while he dealt with this issue, as he made reference to a similar issue in the Party involving retired Army General John Enenche, which he identified as what would have been a major confusion to the Obedient movement. “I am sure that he has a right to appeal the case as every other Nigerians have the right to an appeal. If the appeal do not favour him, he also has the right to go to the highest court which is Supreme Court. I am sure with his position he may resign honourably and let other people take charge as the DG of the Campaign team, we have very good men and women highly respectable who can fit into that shoe if need be. We are not there yet. “Let me remind you of a retired General who was allegedly accused of being part of the presidential campaign team. He was accused of being one of the masterminders who came to Lekki protest for one of the #ENDSARS. We all protested that it was against the will of the Obedient People, he admitted that he was obeying the last command of the military. “However,He apologized to the presidential campaign team, and the entire family and resigned his position. That could have been the biggest scandal, that could have been the biggest act that could have caused lot of confusion in the Obedient family.” “I also want to think that Doyin Okupe did not do this deliberately, he might have been sure that he’d be acquainted from all charges unfortunately the Judge saw it differently. I hope and pray that the court of appeal favors him” Patrick said. When asked if he perceives the verdict as an attack aimed distorting the party’s Campaign efforts, Dr. Patrick Believes it is disagreed. In his words: “ I believe this is not a deliberate attack from the judiciary to truncate the campaigns and also slow down the people's goodwill. “ I think it's what we must all learn from, that if we have any litigation or court issues ,we should try not to get involved in any sensitive position be it political or private sector or as an official. This is because it might dent the reputation of that organization. Nevertheless, The Obi Movement is a moving train and nothing can stop the moving train.” He concluded.

Speaking with ACS Correspondent, Mr Jobus who was very excited about the occasion, expressed deep gratitude to God Almighty for making this long awaited dream, a reality, he further disclosed that the dream of obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree was ignited by former UNILAG VC, Professor Rahaman Ade Bello and his Friend Shola Ninalowo, a former Director of Sports, 2015. Bent on yielding to the advice, the entertainment entrepreneur was determinto to engage the due process of acquiring the degree, and thus left the Comfort of Lagos for Benin in order to concentrate. “As an entertainment enterprenuer, I had to leave Lagos for Benin to avoid distractions and also because I want to do it myself, I did not want to purchase result, I saw that as corruption. Before my departure from Lagos, I rounded up All Campus Show with a big event of All Campus Show 'celebrity cafe' official launch, 10 years anniversary of All Campus Show and my send forth to school in Durban int'l hotel, Lagos. I also terminated my appointment with some organizations I was engaged with like: Corruption Not in my Country as the coordinator, Tinsel as an actor, E-Talk Naija show as the producer and others. “In 2017 I arrived Benin with nothing, no work, no sponsor but I believed in God's directions. I ran the JUPEB Program which earned me direct entry to 200L, the transformation from Lagos to Benin was not easy at all but I persevered, I continued All Campus Show here in Benin and I also started a restaurant, now I am flying well with long wings. “Although there were lots of challenges like the ASUU strikes, hunger, the lack of power supply, the pressure, loneliness and all, I always encouraged myself throughout the process.” He said Most of his Thespian’17 colleagues equally signing out as well, were amazed by his unusual appearance for the occasion as it stirred up mixed reactions from them. We asked why he changed his appearance and according to him, “Today is my signing out, and I originated the concept of dying my hair to white as a display of Creativity. A Thespian must always be creative, so instead of wearing white clothes for people to sign on it, I tinted my hair white and as you can see, The inscription on the black T-shirt I'm putting on says 'Sign on my head' However, I did that because I really do not enjoy the so called classmates because of some certain attitude display , you may not understand, but I believe they do, Although some of them are good , I don't do what they are doinI. In a bid to be creative, I wrote 'Sign on my head' on my outfit. And I doubt they will do so.” he stated. Rounding off the interview, ACS Correspondent, Miss Melanie Joel, Congratulated the great publisher on behalf of the entire ACS Crew as she relayed the wishes of the Crew members to him. He also encouraged others interested in going to school to do so without hesitations, adding that they can even do so, while working. “The stress is for a while, go to classes, write test and exams, behave yourself and also know that the country we are in, will not help you, as things have changed. Before now, they say, face your books, but now I want to tell you to face your books and your career too. Share the responsibilities on your career and book, don't focus on academics alone, it doesn't work like that again, unless if your parents have where to fix you after school, then you can far your academics 100 percent but otherwise, do the needful. Human rights activist and Founder, One Love Foundation, Chief Dr Patrick Osagie Eholor has expressed worry over Edo’s share of the 13% oil revenue for the 9 oil producing states. He says in this interview that Governor Godwin Obaseki has kept information on the money a secret, even refusing to include it in the budget. Eholor is suing the governor as a result. We have the BVAS, with fingerprint identification. Before now, our international footballers used to lie about their age, until they came up with a technology that can tell one’s age. You see, Nigeria is an evolving democracy so you should expect such things to happen. But also, there has to be a stiff punishment for defaulters. Muhammadu Buhari has never taken taken responsibility for his actions, and he is a failure. When one fails, he should take responsibility. There are those who blame everybody when they fail, but when they succeed, they take credit. Because Buhari failed doesn’t mean that Peter Obi will fail. Obi has always told us that whatever he says or does, he will take responsibility. That’s why his manifesto is being delayed because he wants to stand by every pledge in the manifesto. What matters is for a man to speak from his heart, not from a teleprompter. So that guy has a myopic mind set. He should be aware that Obi is not a messiah, not a God but a Nigerian like all of us who wants to lead us out of the hands of the selfish politicians. He wants to change the status quo, he wants to bring power to the downtrodden, and I believe him because he is not hungry for money. On that note, I want to salute ndi Igbo who felt it was important to collectively endorse Peter Obi. I also want to shout out to the Afenifere for their courage. They said this is not about tribe, but about saving Nigeria when they endorsed Obi. I also want to shout out to the Omo noba Oba Ator kpee for the fatherly role he played when Peter Obi visited him. So let those who want to be myopic be myopic. This is not about Peter Obi, its about the people. What we are seeing now is what we call intervention. If it wasn’t God, what we are seeing now, we won’t be seeing it. If God says yes, nobody can say no. So for me, I know Peter Obi is going to be the next president come 2023. If you look at the statistics, you will see that Edo is number 3 among the most indebted states in Nigeria. General Obaseki is not a technocrat, and has been a financial failure until he was lucky to be Governor. Oshiomhole who imposed him on Edo exposed his inadequacy, inefficiency, inexperience, he was just an incoherent talkative who talks before he thinks. I have always known Godwin as a crook, not a technocrat. Look at the recent budget, the money he got from the derivation fund is not reflected in the budget, that alone is illegal. You cannot be a governor and you are commiting crime. In budgeting, you bring the past to the present and take the present into the future, so there is no transparency. Obaseki is only giving you what he wants you to see, he has refused to constitute a genuine House of Assembly, I have been denied representation. Those whom we elected were denied representing us. On this matter, I am dragging Obaseki to court. I have asked my lawyer to look at the locus for me as a Nigerian, as an Edo citizen, to take him to court so the court can compel him to explain to us what he did with the N17. 2billion. If they were for contract, who approved it? Were they advertised? Was due process followed? They left me with no alternative than to take them to court and we are hoping that the court will be able to expose them further more on this massive looting. We voted for Godwin Obaseki, not his Commissioners, so let him come and tell our people what they need to know, and desist from referring us to his Commissioners. |
