congrats bro...abeg gist us about the interview! which questions did they ask you?
Lol bro the interview was wow got there Early about an hour before the scheduled time. Concerning the interview you shouldn't be expecting Much all that matters is you clarifying your relationship with your petitioner(the person who filled for you) they would ask a few questions depending on your class my mom's is f1 my grand mum petitioned for her so they asked her question about my grand mum and siblings.just carry your necessary documents be calm and truthful my mom was only asked six question the interviewer didn't ask any from Mr and my siblings the photographs and the petitioner proof of citizenship were not requested.
They gave us the originals that the petitioner submitted to nvc. We didn't spend up to 15 minutes.
After the interview we drop our passports at the dhl collection centre in v.i

Thanks bro we all shall succeed in our endeavours.
I don't think creating a new thread would be good I can just keep up with this so that way anyone who travels to the States (immigrants/education) can just drop their stories here that way this thread would keep going. Cool ryy?

A lot of question but just be prepared to answer. The few I can remember are if you've had an h.I.v test before, if you've had any surgeries done before,if you take pills every day to cure or heal a disease,if you smoke or do drugs, your blood group e.t.c that's all I can remember

Wishing you the best.

TravelMy U.s Medical Examination Experience. by therealchase(op): 12:13am On Jan 27, 2017
Hello nairalanders, I would be sharing my u.s medical examination experience so others can have a picture of what its like.

Sometimes in December I got an e-mail from the national visa center (nvc) it was the packet 4 we finally got an interview date. After reading the e-mail I googled medical examination experience I only got only a few answers from countries like Philippines e.t.c I wasn't still seeing the picture I wanted. I decided to contact both designated hospitals after much contemplation we decided to visit the hospital at Victoria island( qlife family clinic) simply because the receptionist was friendly and gave me information in dept, I give them high five for that.
In the early hours on the 10th of January 2017 we left home and we got to the hospital few minutes past seven two other families were ahead of us so we took number three. I was so nervous like its a medical examination if anything went bad it would delay the whole process.

Few minutes past eight the clinic was opened we all who went for the medical examination sat at the reception .in about five minutes the receptionists came in and ask us all to write our names and passport numbers behind our passport photographs and put the in our international passport .

she attended to both families ahead of us then we went to her, gave her our international passports and we paid the fees (via pos)
The break down is
I think above 15 years of age was #122,125(per person)my mum also paid#122,125 but my younger sister who is above 15 ended up paying #134,625 and my younger brother who is below 15(4) paid #72,125 the grand total was #451,000.

After the payment we went for our xrays it was really quick we didn't spend up to 20 minutes after that we returned to the reception and the receptionist handed us about 4 tiles with the number 3 on it.

We went back to the reception and were called on by different specialist first it was the blood . The man was quite friendly but the injection wasn't he withdrew our blood and asked if we wanted the do the h.I.v test that its optional but the syphilis was compulsory then he explained the cons that if the h.I.v comes out positive we would have to wait for two months and do the sputum test(which is for tuberculosis) was dam nervous my mum ended up answering for my sis ,I and her saying he should conduct all the test. He explaimed to us that what made the fees cost was the urynalisis that the urines are flown to south africa for the test .We left his office and headed back to the receptionist.

We were called in into the immunization ward that was were we were stinged Christ it really hurt for me it was about three injections on each arm my sis was about four on each arm can't remember my mum's. But I know my little brother screemed lol. After the injection I ran back to the reception as fast as I could. Don't blame me. It was the sting

Then the , i can't remember the name of the last test am guessing its "VITAL SIGNS" but our blood level was checked asked a few question's. Our eye sight was checked also we were asked to stay afar and read some letters on a screen. And our height was measured also

Finally, we got called in by the doctor he asked a lot of question many of which I never expected or we never expected .after the questions was asked to pull off my shirt he checked my eyes, ears, mouth, stomach and back after that he asked me to out on my cloth and he did the same for the rest of the family(Physical Examination).

We all went back to the reception and had the last test it's it URINALYSIS(don't get scared we were just asked to pee in a bottle) then hand over the bottle to the supervisor. After that we went to the receptionist then she told us the results would be ready in two weeks and said my brother had to comeback on a friday(we went on A Tuesday) for them to check if the injected area in his arm got swole up. After that we left the clinic but would be visiting on the 10th day in February for the second immunization.

In all it was a five hours of great experience at the clinic.
Mum went to pick up the results today . she made me to understand that the recepionst told her if your don't get a call from the clinic within the two weeks them you are fine am sure you understand how I feel now just waiting patiently for the interview.

All the best.

A guy that that became a billionaire three times in his life from ground zero, a guy that was dubbed a side show but yet was able to defeat 16 other career politicians of the RNC singlehandedly, a gut that many people thought would be a walkover for Hillary but today he is the greatest Republican threat Democrats have seen in a while , because of Trump over 100 million people will be watching the debate tonight which is the highest viewership ever for any presidential debate in human history even surpassing the superbowl and champions league finals and yet you still think he is a Buffoon. My friend that Buffoon is definitely the next president of America whether you like it or not
Even if he owns the whole world that doesn't qualify him as president he is not an obstacle for Hillary he is just trying to get his name on our TV screens and on the newspapers...not sure you know what he plans to do to the blacks (espceially nigerians) living in america once he's in power..you are saying all this coz u don't live there.. Smh someone who couldn't manage Atlantic city he now wants to lead America? No!
