I would advice you pay close attention to what other more experienced people have to say about this. Trust me, the above advice are myopic and create unfounded fears. Your choice should be based on a lot of factors. 1. Do you have responsibilities at the moment? 2. Do you have someone willing to cater for your bills through the program? 3. How old are you? 4. What course are you going for? 5. What country are you doing it? Before jumping at a #50k job and put yourself in a path of frustration and a cycle of never ending misery, I suggest you do a proper what if analysis with all the above questions I have generated. (You can add yours) and then come up with what you find a critically examined decision. Do not trade your tomorrow (a feast) for a now (a crumb) because of immediate pressure. Be wise. Put off today's gratification for tomorrow's glory. This is my opinion and I wish you God's best. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Honestly, this may look discouraging. Trust me, it shouldn't be any problem for you. It only means you have not succeeded at something he is very good at. That thing may have gotten management to notice him before you which is why he is now your boss. What to do? Take this up as a learning challenge and work with him as best as you can, cheerfully and supportive. You are a work in progress. This may be difficult especially if this person was competitive from the start or got there through some "squeeze job". But consider this a lesson for something bigger. Learn the rudiments at this point and this would get you something bigger. If not in your office, it would somewhere else. Ever heard of the story of Torres and Simeone? They played as teammates, Torres was captain of the team. On Torres second return to the club, Simeone was coach. Now, imagine that Simeone gave Torres issues when he was captain, do you think he would have been considered a good fit to be coach in same club he almost destroyed from being unruly to the leaders? I don't think so. A mentor once mentioned same issue to me sometimes back and he said he did his best to ensure his colleague didn't feel less of himself when he got to be boss over him. So, I suggest you learn now and forge the issue at hand. You are a work in progress. There is a lesson in this. Sit down and learn it. 37 Likes 3 Shares

hahn: Mr. Literate. . You are doing very well for yourself. The same impoverished Israel is more technologically advanced than your country. Even with the hostilities that surrounds them they still thrive and have not come to your rich country for help. Common Cameroon threatens the territorial integrity of your country and you are here shouting in ignorance. I feel sorry for you lot that have chosen to be vindictive. Why can't you just live your lives without bad mouthing people since you are now enlightened and have had your eyes opened. And by the way, if you are going to say religion limits people, I will wait at the other end of the line for your invention or whatsoever you come up with in your most miserable life. Stupid ignorant cretin. |
