Education / Re: Did Anyone Recognize NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Email (scam Or Not) by TheSCRYPT: 5:01pm On Oct 06, 2016
Did you take any test or do you have any history with them? If yes then, it could be legit. However you may have to find a contact number or confirm the email address has an NLNG domain, e.g
Scholarship@nlng.com or whatsoever. If not, you could be in for a scam or worse still your going to the address could land you in kidnappers den.

I wish you all the best.

Anyway I still had fun in my own way grin grin

Ha! You cannot be running with tires now. Your parents did the right thing o jare. Imagine seeing someone who knows you from childhood somewhere and the first sentence goes thus;

Is this 2SWT?! Wow!!! You used to be very little back then and was running around the neighborhood in pant with the boys? shocked shocked. Imagine the embarrassment?

Anyway, you probably are the kind of Ajebo we had to look from their windows to see what a TV looks like. You get?!

Sure, there are. I didn't. My own cartoon was running half naked on the streets with tires and a stick. Can you beat that kind of fun? grin. I don't envy you cartoon kids. tongue tongue. But then again, you should follow back.

Oh well, you never can tell, a princess at night and an ogre at day is a very good paradox for a Nollywood movie don't you think? Lol. Come to think of it, someone must have seen a lot of cartoon as a child. Lol.

mandarin:
If these are true then he must be very frugal. However am baffled, why did he support a rather wasteful Jonathan Goodluck that laid the foundation for the current recession?
I know he is a learned fellow, versed in financial matters, while on earth did he decide to support GEJ considering his wastefulness.
One thing I've come to learn about educated elites is their penchant to become honorary advisers when they leave government. I thought Okonjo Iweala would for instance come out to explain to Nigerians how she presided over an economy that received so much oil income that toward the end was already borrowing to finance salary of workers.
You see why Nigeria baffles me!!!

I usually try to look away from issues of politics because most arguments are usually strife ridden and riddled with wrong assumptions and unconfirmed info.

However, for knowledge sakes, I will respond to your query. Why did he support GEJ;

You see, this guy highlighted how in his tenure of being governor, he tried to cut spending to the barest minimum. You can remember of recent, there was some news on the air about the lack of political will by the GEJ administration to save. It was understood that the FG attempted to save only for the governors to take him to court requesting that the money be shared, of which they won.

Now, I do not like GEJ, neither did I benefit from any of his profligate spendings, however, GEJ's only undoing was a lack of firmness. He wanted to please everyone of which is impossible. You should understand that in a ploy to please everyone, he didn't make some important decisions like taking a stand in circumstances such as the above case.

GEJ was soft, and always wanted to obey the rule of law. Now, thats an important thing in democracy, but in a country as Nigeria with its commeupance of rogues in political spheres, that's a no no. We needed a firm president with a vision, Jonathan had vision, but wasn't firm. The current president happens to have put in our faces that he is firm but, he appears right now to be clueless about governance and the rule of law. Anyway, I will not judge until 2019.
I wish them all the best.

Now, ask me again, why he supported GEJ.

Forgive my epitles and the blunder, it was unedited.

Rule of thumb:

No three odd numbers add up to give you even.

O + O = E
E + E = E
E + O = O

O + O + O = E + O = O.

This mathematical expression has no unique solution.

My only advice for a newbie on a job, is observe the environment you have found yourself. Learn the culture, work rate and a bit about the people. A lot of the above the poster stated could get you in the "I too know" list here in Nigeria.

I freely think and certainly know there is no god. I study everything, juju, science and even your religion. Juju is something we should take serious...but do not worship!. Studying mathematics doesn't make it a religion, does it? You call it black magic because you have left it in the dark.

Lol. You have just mentioned a bunch of contradictory statements. You haven't agreed with yourself bro.

I shake my head for you lot who claim to not believe and then believe and then not.

Alchemy is from the word "Al Kermit" Magic of the black land. The ancient library containing the knowledge of the ancient Egyptian got evaded and looted to Rome(Vatican)where they test the knowledge of ancient Egypt. Its easy to see the sudden rise of technology

The African juju,if modified would have been a very huge assert. But unfortunately it's left in the hands of the illiterates and most part destroyed by European missionaries. They took the remnant of knowledge and gave us fake pastors who get stuck on juju.

Man is made up of energy. An object will remain at inertia unless acted upon by another force. His vibration probably got sped up by something he touched in that shrine, hence he became unconscious.

All you have written up there points to a belief system. Something beyond the ordinary eyes, yes? I would not want to call it "spiritual". However, your assertion have agreed with a popular belief in voodoo and black magic.

Man is made up of energy? We are going deep here. And you have mentioned things beyond the natural eyes. So, are you athiest really?

They are not gods, just electromagnetic fields(the ancient misunderstood). The Ogun priest is probably performing the art of ancient Alchemy, not gods, even when they call it Ogun. Christians think they can walk on serpent, walk into and dangerous site and not get hurt.....we can see where it led this silly bible god's pastor.

Lol. Now it's Alchemy eh? You just have to find something to say about this. What is alchemy by the way? I am sure your being able to decipher the method he used in making the "pastor" motionless means you have some good knowledge of it, perhaps you can explain to me how a non-electromagnetic entity as man can keep another motionless with invisible threads you now term electomagnetic fields.

I am reading...

I doubt any pastor will swear with the traditional deities, but they can easily swear with the bible because they know it's not potent.

Ogun vs Jesus, I guess the corrupt Nigerian pastors know the one they will pick.

Traditional gods don't play around. Where is jesus when you need him?

I thought you lot atheist do not believe in anything spiritual? So you know gods are potent?

Lol. Be deceiving yourselves with your double standards.

Oh well, the topic already explains itself. Do not be wise in your own conceit.
