Politics / Re: Belgium Attacks : Thanking All Muslims For Making Trump President by theshadyexpress(m): 11:06pm On Mar 22, 2016
it is worthy ofnote that even the koran mentioned jesus more times than mohammed but it never mentioned any act of violence jesus partook in.

can muslims explain why there is a mosque in the vatican in rome but no church is allowed in saudi arabia?

why it is not a sin to convert to islam but a sin to convert from islam and is punishable by death?

we can only achieve world peace if we live on the principle of "Live and let live" and everyone is allowed to "Run his own race in peace"

provided the doctrines listed above are still been practiced by muslims then we can kiss world peace goodbye cos such doctrines which does not tolerate tolerance of others can only hasten the breeding of terrorists and terrorism

A christian can never kill because their leader "jesus christ" never shed blood or partook in any violent act throughout his stay on earth, infact jesus even instructed Christians to turn their right chick if hit on the left. 'Christians' meaning small Christ were given that name because they were seen to exhibit all the attributes of Jesus Christ.

the whole religious confusion can easily be traced back to the prime leaders of each religion, a leader no matter how convincing cannot condemn the actions of the follower when he is guilty of same. it is on record that Mohammed who happens to be the leader of muslims killed lots of people and led many wars during his time, so it will be almost impossible to convince muslims not to follow same path. maybe the islamic doctrine has been misinterpreted,if so then in that case Muslims should spend more energy enlightening Islamic adherents than spending more time condemning those who happen to be victims of the atrocities of this so called ignorant few.

Politics / NBS: Fresh 1.97m Now Unemployed Under Buhari by theshadyexpress(m): 1:58pm On Mar 22, 2016
At least 1,972,722 Nigerians have become unemployed since President Muhammadu Buhari took office on May 29, 2015, the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has revealed.

This raises Nigeria’s unemployment profile to 8.03 million – four percent of the world’s unemployed.

The report, which was released on Monday, revealed that Nigeria’s working population grew from 104.3 million in Q3 2015 to 105.02 million in Q4 2015, with 28.1 million economically active persons unwilling to work.

On the other hand, “the labour force population (i.e those within the working age population willing, able and actively looking for work) increased to 76.96 million from 75.94million in Q3 2015”.

“During the same period, the number of unemployed in the labour force, increased by 518,102 persons, resulting in an increase in the national unemployment rate to 10.4% in Q4 2015 from 9.9% in Q3 2015 and from 8.2% in Q2 2015”.

With 1,454,620 becoming unemployed from July 1 to September 30, 2015, and 518,102 from October to December 2015, at least 1,972,722 became unemployed in Buhari’s first six months.

“In view of this, there were a total of 22.45 million persons in the Nigerian labour force in Q4 2015, that were either unemployed or underemployed compared to 20.7 million in Q3 2015 and 19.6 million in Q2 2015.

“The number of underemployed in the labour force (those working but doing menial jobs not commensurate with their qualifications or those not engaged in fulltime work and merely working for few hours) increased by 1.21 million or 9.16%, resulting in an increase in the underemployment rate to 18.7% (14.42million persons) in Q4 2015, from 17.4% (13.2mn) in Q3 2015 and 18.3% (13.5mn) in Q2 2015.

Despite the unemployment recorded in the economy, Nigeria ranks 45 on the world unemployment ladder.

“The highest unemployment rate in the world as of latest reported in q4 2015 is recorded in Djibouti (54%), Congo(46%), Bosnia and Herzegovinian (42.9%), Haiti (40.6%), Afghanistan (40%), Kenya (40%), Kosovo(35%), while the lowest are found in Qatar (0.2%), Cambodia (0.3%), Belarus(0.5%), Thailand (0.8%), Benin (1.0%), Madagascar (1.2%), Laos (1.40%) and Guinea Bissau(1.80%).

“Nigeria with an unemployment rate of 10.4% in Q4 2015 has a better unemployment rate than reported in 66 countries, but worse than 111 countries, including 23 African countries which have unemployment rates lower than 10.4%.

“If we add underemployment to unemployment and get a rate of 29.2% for Q4 2015, then Nigeria has the 7th highest unemployment rate in the world (Important to note other countries don’t add underemployment) with only Kenya Congo and Djibouti with worse rates in Africa.”

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has promised Nigerians that three million jobs would be created within three years, starting in 2016.

Politics / Kano Governor Ganduje Appoints Hausa Actress SA On Budget, 4th Actress In His Ca by theshadyexpress(m): 7:32am On Mar 21, 2016

A Kannywood (Hausa Movie) actress, Yahanasu Sani has been appointed by the Governor of Kano state, Alhaji Umar Ganduje as his Special Assistant on Budget.
The governor who has been in the news recently concerning a supremacy battle between himself and his former boss and erstwhile governor Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has continued to grab attention with this recent appointment.
The governor’s latest appointment of Ms. Sani in February 2016 which was just confirmed is a subject of discussion among the people of the state who are concerned about the level of qualification and competence of the actress to handle such an important position.
This appointment also makes it the 4th actress from the Kannywood that will be employed to serve in Ganduje’s cabinet a situation that has worried stakeholders.
The pretty actress whose qualifications are unkwown will work from the Ministry of Fiscal Programs in Kano State. She said to BBC Hausa in a recent interview that her appointment as Special Assistant to the governor will not prevent her from acting in movies.
The last kannywood actress appointed by the governor was Rashida Ibrahim, who serves as the SSA to the Governor on Women Affairs.
Ganduje has made news for several controversial appointments since the beginning of his tenure including the appointment of an SA in Automobile spare parts dealers affairs.

Politics / All APC Members Are ‘god-fearing’-amaechi by theshadyexpress(m): 7:20am On Mar 21, 2016
The rivalry between APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers is one of the bitterest in the country, leading to several incidents of violence and killings that are followed by counter-accusations between the two parties.

Asked by Channels TV on Wednesday if he was sure that his followers would not resort to violence ahead of the weekend’s senatorial rerun, Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation and former governor of the state, had said: “I wish you knew me very well, I hate violence. One thing I fear about life is that it is irreplaceable, so one thing you must do if you follow me is that you must not own a gun, you must not own a machete except for purpose of agriculture, and you must not own a knife. So you can’t work with me and carry weapon.

“Don’t forget, when I was governor, over 100 persons were killed in the 2015 election and we named them. There is a book written on that; we named them, their families and locations. Are you now saying that as governor I couldn’t have brought out money for my people to buy weapons?”

At this point, Amaechi was interjected that this didn’t quite answer the question. Representing the question, the interviewer said: “Yes you can say that those who follow you directly maybe do not carry weapons, but are you saying that every single member of your party, none of them is a cultist?”
Speaking assuredly, Amaechi said: “Those who follow me directly carry weapons, those are my security.

“But if you talk about followership in terms of politics, yes, one qualification you will have is that you must be God-fearing; you have no business being with me if you are not God-fearing.”

“You must be God-fearing to be in the APC?” the interviewer slid in.

“You must be God-fearing to be in the APC,” Amaechi answered in the affirmative.

“So are you saying that there are no bad eggs within the APC?”

“Aha!” he exclaimed.

“When you are God-fearing, will you be a bad egg?”

Again, the interviewer asked: “All members of the APC in Rivers state are God-fearing”

“Of course I say that. You must be God-fearing… being God-fearing does not mean you won’t commit sin, but it means you have a limit to which you can do things. For instance, you know the consequences of death.”

The video continues to gain traction on social media as more and more people struggle to understand the manner of inordinate party loyalty exhibited by the former governor.

Good, nobody is forcing you to deviate from your ways. Just don't impose your ways on others. That is what we are asking for. STOP abducting our girls and forcefully converting them into backward religion that has become cancer to the entire world. And mark word, the day a Northern tries such with any member of my family, no matter how extended, as long as I am alive, I will make sure he regrets ever crossing that line.

Your believes are as nonsense your ravaged region in the North. Look who is talking of poor parentage and you people have the highest level of illiterates. If you have a good grasp of what parenting is all about, I am sure we won't have bokoharam destroying the lives of innoncent people. We won't have fulani herdmen killing people and stealing what does not belong to them, if you people know what good parenting is, your people won't be scattered across the country begging for alms. the current state of your people clearly shows have no idea what parenting is all about. So you are not in a good position to talk about good parenting. Please shut that latrine you call mouth.

my sister, this people you mentioned are only further confirming my initial assertion about Muslims not having the capacity to tolerate opposing views nor indulge in a healthy debate with anyone as far as their practices are concerned. their leaders are the most self centred in that they brainwash this people in order to exploit them for their selfish purpose, they even forbid them to give personal and critical thought to any teachings and are expected to take it as said. seriously its pathetic but im hopeful that soonest some prople in this faith will start asking questions and start demanding answers from these leaders. till then it is just safe to mingle fairly with them but abstain as much as possible from indulging with them on any issue bothering on their faith cos thats potentially suicidal

You are not worthy of my time that's why i always ignore your rantings.

you took your time to write all these gibberish and yet only ended exposing the endemic bigotry in your DNA

let me say this here without fear of favour or discrimination cos this is something we have to stop shying from, the hypocrisy among muslims is alarming and i'll state why

1)when suicide bombers in the name of allah kill people rather than muslims condemning the act and consoling the victims all you hear them do is try to exonerate islam from it

2)they spend more energy defending Islam from been labelled a terror prone religion than they do trying to educate fellow muslims on the true teachings of islam

3)they condemn any muslim that converts to other religions to death (apostacy) but yet celebrate others converting to Islam.

4)they frown against any other religion in any part of the holy land (saudi-arabia) but yet there is a mosque in the vatican and in any other part of the world.

5) they still hold on to a lot of ancient and archaic practices that ordinarily civilization should have wiped out.

muslims have to understand that the principle of live and let live has come to stay and the earlier they embrace it the better for all of them, i personally have a lot of muslim friends as a matter of fact my best friend is a muslim but it is worthy of note that although we discuss about a lot of things i dare not allow myself indulge myself in any discussion that has to do with religion with him cos his disposition alone towards such is carries a lot of violent anticedents.

dear muslims, the world dont hate you, the world only wants you to understand that not everyone can have and share same beliefs and ideologies but that does not stop them from living together.

many muslims are beginning to understand this but thats just a drop in the ocean. muslim leaders should indeed start investing their energies in educatiing their followers on the true tenets of islam so we non-muslims can begin top agree that indeed islam is a religion of peace not by what the preachers say but by what we see.

thank you

Politics / Kwankwaso Abused Me, My Parents To My Face – Ganduje by theshadyexpress(m): 7:01am On Mar 18, 2016
Kano State governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has decried how Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso allegedly abused his parents and himself because Kwankwaso believed that the government has not met his expectations.
Governor Ganduje said he accompanied Kwankwaso to his car when the former governor suddenly starting raining verbal abuses on him and his parents, accusing him of discontinuing his legacies of free education, foreign scholarship and so on.
In his address when he received State House of Assembly members, on Tuesday, Dr. Ganduje recalled the time when Senator Kwankwaso said that he would not be involved in running the state’s affairs, saying unless when the government failed, he would return to change the government and replace it with another one.
“That statement didn’t go down well with the present deputy governor, Professor Hafiz Abubakar, an instance, that prompted my deputy to query such unnecessary remarks,” Ganduje said.

According to Governor Ganduje some projects executed by his predecessor were dubious and that the former governor had swindled the people of the state.
He said if he expose the way Kwankwaso handled the state’s resources it would shock many people especially the indigenes of Kano State.
Ganduje urged the party’s supporters, people of Kano and those affected by the past bad leadership to keep praying for his government to succeed as that is the only way to turn around the fortunes of the state.
Recall that the disagreement between the duo started when former commissioners of the government of Kwankwaso rose against Ganduje because of his refusal to reappoint some of them, and for not paying them their severance allowance after serving the immediate past government.
This discontent among the Kwankwaso commissioners have been lingering for the past few months and had led to the trading of insult over the local radio stations, and sponsored by the aggrieved commissioners.

Politics / Cote D’ivoire Displaces Nigeria To Emerge Africa’s Top Investor Destination by theshadyexpress(m): 6:30pm On Mar 17, 2016
The difficult patch that Nigeria, the largest economy in Africa, is going through does not seem to be abating.
According to a new Nielsen report which provides a ranking of business prospects for leading markets in sub-Saharan Africa, Nigeria is no longer the top investor destination on the continent.
In its place, Cote d’Ivoire has risen to the top of the rankings.
Nielsen Holdings plc is a global performance management company that provides a comprehensive understanding of what consumers watch and buy.
Nielsen’s Watch segment provides media and advertising clients with Total Audience measurement services for all devices on which content – video, audio and text – is consumed.
Buoyed by a fast-growing economy and a lengthy period of political stability highlighted by successful elections last year, Cote d’Ivoire is now regarded as a prime destination for investment in Africa.
Although that status could now be affected following a recent attack by Al Qaeda in the Islamic Mahgreb (AQIM).
Having been ranked as the top investor destination at the start of 2015, Nigeria has now fallen to fourth on the rankings. The ominous slide fits the narrative of Nigeria’s slowing economic growth amid a global slump in commodity prices.

Politics / Establishing National Airline Not A Priority Of My Government – Buhari by theshadyexpress(m): 8:21pm On Mar 15, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari says that establishing a new national airline is not on the federal government’s list of priorities at the moment.

Buhari, who made the statement in Malabo on Tuesday at an interactive meeting with Nigerians resident in Equatorial Guinea, declared that his administration’s main area of focus now is reducing the level of poverty in the country.

The president said his administration would continue giving priority to the infrastructure needed to boost production in all sectors of the economy and create more jobs for young Nigerians, as well as other actions that would directly improve the living conditions of ordinary Nigerians.

Buhari was responding to complaints by members of the Nigerian community on the absence of direct flights between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.

He assured them that his administration’s war against corruption would remain “fearless, relentless and merciless”.

“We will be merciless and relentless in pursuing all those who abused public trust. Nigerians will see how some of the elite conspired to run the nation down,” he said.

He also said that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) would be encouraged to explore the possibility of Nigerians abroad voting in the 2019 general election.

Noting that some African countries had started allowing their citizens resident abroad to vote in national elections, the president said that he fully empathised with the voting aspirations of Nigerians.

He pledged that he would therefore do all within his powers to fulfill that desire.

“I want all Nigerians to know that I respect them and their right to choose their leaders,” he said.

He condemned the recent political violence in Rivers state, saying that the killing of people over political differences is primitive, barbaric and unacceptable.

“We will deal decisively with all sponsors of violence. I have given the security services clear directives in this regard,” he said.

“We will show that violence in any form will no longer be tolerated before, during or after elections.”

A statement issued by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, on February 28, in the course of the president’s visit to Qatar had said: “Nigeria has commenced discussions on partnerships towards establishing a national airline for Nigeria”, but it did not go into details.

https://www.thecable.ng/national-airline-not-my-priority-says-buhari

Buhari, during his electioneering, described Nigeria’s presidential fleet under former President Goodluck Jonathan, as a “waste.”He therefore promised to make changes when he assumed office.

In a speech delivered to the Nigerian community in the United Kingdom in February, Buhari described the waste alongside corruption as the major killers of the country’s economy.

He had said, “Let me give you an instance, presently, there are more than six aircraft in the presidential fleet. What do you call that? Billions of Naira is budgeted every year for the maintenance of these aircraft not to talk of operational costs and other expenses.

“You may want to ask what a Nigerian President is doing with so much aircraft when a Prime Minister of Britain flies around using the same public aircraft like ordinary Britons.

“Go and check and compare with that of any developed country in the world, the Office of the Nigerian President is a very expensive one in spite of our poverty and joblessness. Despite all these, you still find a Nigerian Minister spending about N10bn to charter an aircraft for just one year.

“Now for me, when we come into office, all these waste will be blocked and properly channelled into our economy. We intend, for instance, to bring back our National carrier, the Nigerian Airways. We shall do this by bringing all the aircraft in the presidential fleet into the Nigerian airways and within a year increase the fleet to about 20.

“What is the difference between me and those who elected us to represent them? Absolutely nothing! Why should Nigerian President not fly with other Nigerian public?”

Politics / Doyin Okupe Provides Facts To Counter Osinbajo's Claim On Roads by theshadyexpress(m): 10:21am On Mar 05, 2016
His Excellency, Prof Yemi Osinbajo said the Federal government did not construct a single new road in the last 10 years. The VP probably said this in view of the fact that based on reports made available to him almost 98% of government effort in the last decade has been devoted to roads rehabilitation.
The federal road network, going by the colonial road master plan, is about 35,000 km in length. By 2007, over 70% of these roads were completely unmotorable.
No responsible government of the people will set aside 35000km of dilapidated and nonfunctional, often single lane roads, and embark on the construction of new ones.
Therefore the efforts of the federal government in the last 10years has been focused on the repair, rehabilitation ,expansion and dualization of most of the interstate and axial road network nationwide. Examples are Benin/ Ore, kano / Kaduna, Enugu/port Harcourt, Ibadan/Ilorin, Lokoja/abaji/Abuja, Lagos/ Ibadan to mention just a few of about 65 such road projects.
During the Goodluck Jonathan Administration the scale and proficiency was taken to a sublime level, with a total of 25000km of the 35000km, being completely rehabilitated.
This fact was confirmed by the new minister for works Babatunde Raji at his maiden Press Conference.
However, the federal government between 2006 to 2015,(9yrs) constructed the following new roads.
1. Loko Oweto link RD.(between nassarawa and Benue state.
2. Musa Yaradua (Abuja airport RD) 10 lanes .
3. Kubwa RD(Murtala Mohammed RD) 10 lanes fct.
4. Good luck Jonathan rd. 10 lanes. Fct
5. East-West RD 346km. Started by OBJ
in 2006. GEJ recommenced and is 90% complete.
6. Benin Byepass. (OBJ)

"Guns don't kill people, people kill people!!" Let me assume your thinking capability didn't manufacture such a quote and believe it was copied.
Hence the question remains...;

Have you ever made plans and unforseen circumstances fustrated you of such plans?

If Yes, then you know that Buhari is affected by such now!

Many people that voted for Buhari never did because of 5000 naira stipend! He was voted because his INTEGRITY was applauded!

And he hasn't failed in that aspect!

If after 4yrs and the economy is still in shambles, then feel free to Castigate and Vote out Buhari like we did to Jonathan!

But for now, #Keep Waling instead of Praying and utilizing loopholes in the government!

sorry i caused you tears but i just cant help but add more till you cry out your insanity

stay strong
