Its been a season of denials of campaign promises by the Buhari led administration. The presidential spokesperson has come out to deny that Buhari ever promised to dispose of the 11 planes in the presidential fleet it inherited from the previous administration of FMR president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

I was scheming through saturday punch when I saw this and I thought it right to share this with all nairalanders so we can appreciate the times were currently in for under this new administration

This young men are at it again. Doing revisionism.
This woman stole big money in corrupt acts and even outright stealing through the NPDC deal with Kola Aluko's company.- systemised corruption. No money refunded to Federation account.
They were actually stealing 50000 barrels per day .$170million per year.

She also made deals with Fuel Importers - crude oil swap for refined products.
This will take some months to prove and the new EFCC chief is up to the task.

Fake crude theft of 400 000 barrels per day. That was how much Jonathan and this evil woman were declaring and deducting from our daily proceeds at $100 per barrel. Some OPEC countries don't produce that much. Intelligent observers have queried that figure for years. How can a country lose one fifth of its production to oil theft. This is conservatively $12bn in a year.

Wastefulness in use of company hired jets totalling up to more than N11bn.

It is worrisome the new youth that we have in Nigeria. There is a saying that if you are not radical in your 20s and 30s , you have missed out in life. Yet this is what we see everyday. A young man will make himself mouthpiece for treasury looters and conservative forces without an iota of shame. This is the only lazy, spineless , de radicalised generation that Nigeria has ever known.
Telling lies on social media to defend treasury looters in the abundance of clear evidence against them.
Sad, very sad.

I can see you conveniently drew up those charges against her,but pls can you explain to me why she is facing Zero charge in the UK despite your allegations and why your FG after 6 months of investigating her are yet to bring to the public domain any evidence of corruption against her? Pls there is no honour in been a fool and flaunting it. Go get ur facts right and try using your head if at all u have any

What I still don't understand is why buhari after 6 months is yet to pin any charges against this woman and president jonathan...during the pre-election period he and his APC ganglords were boasting about how they will jail deziani and jonathan because their corrupt stench has gotten to a heavens high. 6 months down the line we are still hearing that GEJ and Deziani are corrupt but yet the mister President Buhari is yet to pin one charge against these two persons. I expected buhari to call sanusi to complete what he finished since this two persons had no power to frustrate his investigations as he claimed, but alas it is obvious it was just a deliberate attempt at character assasination on the personality of this persons (GEJ and Deziani) by the APC and their media gang to hoodwink gullible nigerians to having a negative perception about this persons. Fault his tax policies, fault his recent land use tax, I would reason along. But don't ever deny his efforts in road construction!

I'm not ready to fault any of what you listed,I'd rather fault your ability to reason critically, who on earth have witnessed 7yrs of rain and even akwa ibom that has serious downpours on an avearge of three days and also have a more difficult terrain has constructed more KM of roads than the whole of the south west except lagos. If oshiomole had blamed his inability to deliver road infrastructure on the paucity of funds available amaybe we could have had a good debate but this apportioning of blames on the general weather condition is stupid and highly dumb and you are even worse off for even attempting to defend that thrash. El-Rufai is just a big fool and hard-core hypocrite and here's why
*he's agitating against defectors getting positions but himself is a high profile defector,
*he says PDP destroyed nigeria for 16yrs but he played a major part in the PDP for 10yrs
*he says jonathans regime looters have started returning money but we don't hear of their names
*he said jonathan was the sponsor of boko haram but he's fulani presidiot is yet to call GEJ for questioning
* and the biggest hypocrisy and deceit is when he publicly defamed Buhari as incompetent to be president when he was a PDP member but now supports buhari as the messiah

If you are learned and you take this fulani midget serious then u should fet your head examined, trust me when I say I don't expect APC e-goats to learn, their brains are already configured to act as zombie cells.

Politics / Rains Disturbed Edo For Seven Years, That’s Why We Didn’t Build Roads –oshiomole by theshadyexpress(m): 7:11am On Nov 13, 2015
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has given reasons why his administration did not build any industry in the state. Adams Oshiomhole said he never promised to build Industries during his campaign, That his campaign promise was to create the enabling environment for investments to thrive in the state.

It is a fact that no single industry was built in Edo State throughout the Seven years the Governor has been in office. He also accused his predecessors of building Industries to siphon money.

He named four industries; Fertilizer plant, Auchi; Cassavita Industry, Uromi; Chemical Plant; Ikpeshi; and Fruit Juice Factory, Ehor built by the previous administration, that all was built with second hand equipment and at inflated prices.

“The only value of these industries are the land spaces they occupy,”   “Our responsibility is to get the private sector build industries by creating the enabling environment and not to build any.” said Oshiomhole.

He  asked if anyone has ever drunk or bought any of these products, adding that his administration tried selling them (industries) but no buyer was willing to purchase because of their depreciating value.

He noted that the same previous government in their usual characteristic sold Okpella Cement with the intention to use it as a base for re-bagging of cement until he waded in, disclosing that very soon, Okpella Cement Industry would come back on stream through a private initiative.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole, however promised to leave for his successor, a robust revenue,he further said that in the past seven years of his administration, a lot of private initiatives have been built, giving the establishment of furniture company using bamboo at Anegbete as example because government was able to build roads in that area which in turn attracted that private company to the area.

Governor Oshiomhole further disclosed on Bendel Brewery, that the court case between Churchgate, who are the core investors and the company contributed to the stalling of progress and non-rehabilitation of the company. He however promised that with his negotiation with AMCON, assuredly that very soon, Bendel Brewery would back.

While speaking on the state of roads in the state especially Benin City, the governor promised mass rehabilitation of roads and the continuation of existing ones, saying that the reason for this was as a result of rains for seven years, which according to him was not conducive for road construction and rehabilitation.

“Now that the rains appear to have subsided and the dry season fast approaching, we have spoken with all the contractors working on our roads and they have been mobilized and would soon go back to site. This is in addition to the rapid response agency to patch up and resurface bad spots with the metropolis”.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole however promised that in the next 12 months, all projects initiated by his administration would be completed, leaving none behind.

Politics / Probe Threats: Buhari Begs Obasanjo - Guardiannewsusa.com by theshadyexpress(m): 9:22am On Jul 30, 2015
Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari’s threats to probe governance affairs of his predecessors has tumbled into a boomeranging breadth, prompting the General to personally send a plea with apologies to the former President and one of the targets of his proposed probe, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, International Guardian reliably gathered. “I didn’t personally know what was said or written, but to my understanding, PMB was only trying to diffuse rumors in the media about Obasanjo being a target of his probe,” a source close to Buhari’s administration explained in a text message.

Chief Obasanjo was already gathering a dossier which included documents linking President Buhari and key allies and colleagues in his administration to major fraud related to various affairs of the government, when he received President Buhari’s “es·prit de corps” plea for a common understanding and restraint. To further appease the aged former leader, President Buhari quickly announced a retraction of his threats, announcing publicly that he would not extend his corruption probe beyond the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

A worried President Buhari specifically indicated through his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Femi Adesina, that he would not waste time in probing the administrations of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Abdulsalam Abubakar, Sani Abacha, and Ibrahim Babangida. The retraction nonetheless created doubts among critics on the president’s credibility in fighting corruption as he initially swaggered.

President Buhari, it may be recalled, had consistently vowed to investigate and bring to book, all persons who looted the country’s funds. Consequently, he made a threat to arrest and prosecute past ministers and other officials who stole Nigeria’s oil and diverted government’s money to personal accounts.

The President’s request for collaboration with the United States, however, prompted an alleged reaction by President Obasanjo considered as one of Nigeria’s most corrupt past leader by most western countries. The United States has indicated it would help Nigeria's new leader track down billions of dollars in stolen assets – a move that might expose previous fraudulent engagements in the Obasanjo’s regime.
Atiku was implicated by a US Grand Jury which report detailed his fraudulent involvement with Congressman, William Jefferson to secure a business deal in Nigeria. Jefferson was sentenced to 13 years on November 13, 2009, the longest sentence ever handed down to a congressman for bribery.crumbly economy.
International Guardian gathered that President Buhari’s backtrack from his initial plans for a comprehensive probe of public-fund misappropriation may jeopardize Nigeria’s request to the United States for collaboration on tracing missing funds. The United States government it was gathered, may not oblige to selective investigation of executive fraudsters and may not spare Buhari himself. It may be recalled that as the Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was implicated by a US Grand Jury which reports detailed his fraudulent involvement with Congressman, William Jefferson to secure a business deal in Nigeria. On August 5, 2009, Jefferson was found guilty of 11 of the 16 corruption counts, and was sentenced to 13 years on November 13, 2009, the longest sentence ever handed down to a congressman for bribery.

From fraudulent privatization of state-owned enterprises; filthy oil deals; bribery associated with Halliburton, Siemens, and Transcorp, rushed terminal contracts, to personal loans for his farm business, embezzlement of Excess Crude Account, and Petroleum Trust Development Fund (PTDF), Chief Obasanjo’s regime has been considered the most fraudulent in Nigeria’s history. “For Buhari to claim that he would not waste time digging into the far past, simply signals a red flag about his involvement in the whole thing,” confided a source close to Washington.
Last week, International Guardian reported how President Obasanjo was the only one to rightly expose President Buhari’s negative past records of public accountability, revealing his readiness to hit the blogs with documents that would shock the nation. The story also narrated how Buhari as the chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) between 1998-99, failed to account for a missing 25 billion naira, confiscating all related documents and obstructing all investigative channels. Buhari’s alleged plea to Obasanjo, therefore, was timely. “When it comes to being vindictive, you know Baba does not waste time and Buhari should have known better,” a source close to the All Progressives Congress (APC) told our newsroom.
