Hmm, I know of the braveness and competitive nature of igbos, not sure about the republican aspect....one area I admire them is their competitive nature and love for exploring unfamiliar terrain also their communal and conservative nature, and in all honesty it won't be bad if Yoruba's can also borrow qualities like this, unlike igbos Yoruba's can be very individualistic, docile and unwilling to explore especially if they don't view the terrain as economically viable, Yoruba's are also very liberal and it's their undoing.
