Antivirus92: story! you're talking to kids,, If one has to go through your comment history,,,a neutral person can see bile, hatred, contempt and strong dislike in every word u have used to describe igbo people and their women(which ur supposed mother is one of) There are things u can't hide,,,,forget your faceless forum bla bla bla,, if u can exhibit this type of deep seated hatred that is oozing out of your comments in a faceless forum, imagine how u would be in real life! I've seen worse from igbos also on this forum... because I say such stuff doesn't mean I hate igbos in real life because words on a faceless forum simply doesn't mean anything. It's the actions of people that matter. |

Antivirus92: Nobody cares,,,, from your comment history, we have seen how much of igbo friend you are! This is problem with some of my Igbo people....you think because someone says good things about your tribe it means they support you, reason why some of you once supported Reno and ffk until they started saying what you didn't want to hear. So if I had opened a separate monika and said great stuff about igbos you wouldn't doubt my claims, very small way of reasoning. Am half Igbo and there's nothing you can do about it. |

Antivirus92: Where is the half-igbo op? we must admit, from your comment history, u habour so much LOVE for "MOTHER'S" people! How much desperate some people are to be Igbo! There are countless igbos I've seen in real life bash Nnamdi kanu and their fellow igbos does that make them really hate igbos? We may talk trash on the faceless forum but it doesn't change the fact that it all ends on nairaland and nobody goes around attacking igbos or their businesses in the south west. I am half Igbo and there's nothing even I can do about that. |

DCatt: You don't understand a thing from my post, your comment shows it.
You are not Yoruba and your loyalty is divided even if you hate one of your parents. I know you are not ready to face the truth of your situation but I'll tell you that no serious tribe will put you in an important position. The Akeredolu you mentioned shows your state of mind as half n half(or quarter if your father is half Yoruba) No real Yoruba will see Akeredolu as a performing governor but how for do.
This is the future and the earlier you see it the better for you, If you don't have at least 75% Yoruba father and nursed a Yoruba breast milk, sorry my Igbo brother, you are not Yoruba but mixed.
Sorry, Bible promotes marriage among your kind to support one's own culture. The half, fake and plastic Yoruba in leadership position today is made possibe because of Yoruba's past of not looking before leaping and it's about to change. You're capping dust. |

DCatt: It means you are half n half, that is if each of your parents are pure blood. And NO you shouldn't be able to contest anywhere except in dumbland because your loyalty and interests are divided. We are indigenous people with language and culture. This is why even Bible don't support marrying outside your ethnic groups, you are given a nation and language to protect for a reason.
We Yoruba are the most guilty of marrying outside our nation and the result is horrifying to the point of destruction. There are people who have 50%, 25%, 12.5% & even 0% Yoruba blood claiming to be Yoruba when they are not but have more of other Nigerian blood in them. This is something young Yoruba are talking about now and try putting a stop to, it's becoming a curse with most evil in Yoruband are done by the so called mixed blood. At this point it's a traitorous idea for any Yoruba to marry Igbos, Fulani or other Yoruba's nemesis. We need to speak more about it and shun such weddings like I told a friend, if we all do our part and condemn and refuse to recognize such marriage, it will repair Yorubaland, they have done too much damage to Yorubaland.
I understand how everybody wants to be Yoruba to the point that we now have fake Yoruba, thanks but no thanks, we can no longer accept anyone mix with othe Nigerian blood as Yoruba because you are not. Yoruba-Nigerian is one with pure Yoruba blood parents. I understand your point and fears but they aren't valid. Firstly loyalty to one's tribe isn't determined by if such person is half Yoruba or married to a non yoruba what matters is simply one's awareness and loyalty to his tribe, the majority of sellouts today in Yoruba land are full Yoruba's and one of the major voices and pro regional politician is akeredolu married to an igbo woman, I am Yoruba and my loyalties are certainly not divided but it doesn't mean I shouldn't seek political position via my mother's homeland. And there's no harm if Yoruba men go out to fullfill God's word by planting their seeds in every corner of the world, I'd only frown at the practice if it's Yoruba women doing such, what's important is the growth of our culture and passing our cultural values down to our children, The Yoruba language and culture survived slavery and colonization, making it's way to even south America...this half Yoruba argument doesn't hold water. |

Every state in Nigeria will ask for your root
Not peculiar to only Igbos
Why not contest in your fathers land?
Why change the topic of your post to Igbo?
Just for attention or for people to rant about Igbos again? What is obtainable in Nigeria and what exactly defines state of origin....I have claims to the south east just as every Igbo boy with a Yoruba mother has claims to the south west. And my choice for contesting in my mother's home land is simply because of my interest in igbo land. Title may have been different but the content remains the same. What point are you driving at? |

My father is yoruba from ibadan, my mum is Igbo from Ideato North in imo state. I've had an interest in politics from very young age, hopefully someday I'd venture into politics and I'd need a platform to start from, am drawn to the south east because my mother's ties with the region, but considering the political climate of nigeria and requirements for running for office would it be possible to claim my mother's side as state of origin? Need your advice.
Lalasticlala would be great if these gets to front page. |

Nigeria and africa can go fvck themselves, as long as there's stability in the south west we're good. Ghana and most african countries to the west of nigeria are doing fairly ok, the instability is coming majorly from Nigeria. |
