tonyuny12: I asked a simple question to know more and not for you to display your arrogancy.
A simple explanation would have done much than asking such stupid question as to whether I'm alright or not. Does one who isn't alright ask someone alright questions bothering national security and the likes? I have to ask because this is not something I should have to explain to an adult with data on his phone to search "UK sim registration process". I have grown weary of government sheep asking silly and childish questions in an attempt to derail and distract. If you want to act like children don't be surprised when you are treated as such. |

tonyuny12: Those ID showed are they captured or not? And permit, are the sims preregistered or you do so at the point of buying same? Are you alright? Your information is already captured as you register, the process is the same abroad as it is here but there is no need to have a national ID linked with the sim. I have already explained, if you still don't want to grab go and ask your relatives abroad to break it down to your level. |

tonyuny12: At least those who didn't are experiencing the disadvantage of not getting it done.. Sometimes, you put your country first to avoid unnecessary issues not because they are right but because you just wanna be patriotic and avoid unnecessary issues in the future Is suspending your critical thinking faculties what you call putting your country first? You people are the cause of your own suffering, whatever Nigerians are experiencing today they deserve it because they do not want to think, want self centred politicians to do their thinking for them. I am asking you as a grown adult and a Nigerian what the linking intends to solve and you're telling me "just do it because the government says so". Your unwillingness to ask important questions is why the government will continue to take your grandkids for fools. |

willy25: Both of these comments made by the same person. I want the blocking to continue, those who support it think it won't affect them but the suffering must touch everyone. Nigerians reason like daft children sometimes and are unable to see beyond their nose, after months of stress and inconvenience they will remove the block. |

FuckDModz: Economic implications caused by who?
Show me a developed country where any random person can buy and use a sim without linking it to their identity and I will show you a failed nation. You can easily buy a sim in the UK but it it not a failed nation, in other countries you just have to show your ID and address, something Nigerian telecos already do. There is no need to link the sim with your national ID that only happens in a FAILED NATION like NIGERIA. Those of us who have travelled out know, STOP SAYING WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW |

carl90: I do hope those going to these NIMC offices /telcos are those who have linked up their sim to their nin and still get their sim blocked. I hope so. However,if it's not those people mentioned above, the telcos and NIMC should slam their doors against those queue or charge them #10,000 to link up. Aaaaah, some people can be so funny! I love how Nigerians cut the nose to spite the face, not thinking about the long term implications of their decisions. While other nations are developing we will me looking around wondering why change isn't happening. |

iLoveYouToo: Show me one positive comment you’ve made about the government since you joined Nairaland. Y’all whine about everything. Why would someone make positive comments about a negative government, you well so? When Buhari came in with the promise of changing everything wasn't everyone chanting Sai Barber on the streets? So what now happened that Buhari never tackled a single issue he promised to solve after 7 years? |

Nigerians will always wait till dying minutes to get anything done. Then the animals will turn around and blame the system.
I hope their useless lines remain barred till December.

The Western world has limit when it comes to the so called free speech. Go to Israel, Germany, France and declare holocaust didn't exist. Wait and see what happens Set awon Boko Haram, you don't hate them, you just hate that they aren't just killing non Muslims. |

Maxymilliano: How can an atheist be tried for blasphemy when he does not believe in any religion Religion of peace gang doesn't accept that, they say once a Muslim always a Muslim, that is why they kill or imprison those who want to leave Islam. Converting to Islam is basically a death convent. |

Without NATO war in Libya, Nigeria and west Africa wouldn’t be facing massive Terrorists problem. France came to Mali and looted all Mali golds.
Maybe it’s time for Africans to wake up but since we have only looters as leaders then we are still like slaves. What year did Boko Haram start bombing? |

There's this man in my village that doesn't ask people how are you, his reason? He said that if he woke up fine then the whole community is fine.
Crazy as that may sound but that is unfortunately the mentality of many Nigerians.
If it's not happening to me then it is obviously not happening to anyone else. The mentality of the average Buhari supporter |

After the econmic stagnation this causes you will tell me the benefits of this useless policy. CoolAmbience: Mtchewww.
Do you even know the relations between access to communication and security?
The blocking is long overdue. What does it cost anyone to follow a national directive, with obvious collective gain potential? When millions died due to the national directives of Stalin and Mao I'm sure many people were asking the same foolish question. But before the day ends you must tell me one person who has been caught through the NIN. |
