The bolded is the crux of the issue here, you have standing on the assumption that a you have a suspect and you just need their details to arrest them.

It seems you are looking at NIN like a magic number from one crime series that knows everything about a person from just searching it.

Even if 100% of the world has linked their NIN you still need to do basic investigative work to have a suspect, we can trace and intercept criminals using the tools we already have.

The fact that no other country is using this ridiculous method to allegedly solve crimes is the most irritating thing about this whole affair.

You don't decleare unknown persons wanted, if you are declaring someone wanted you must have have basic information like their pictures, name, work or family background already linking them with the crime.

You can have everyone's data but if you don't have clear evidence linking people to crimes then it is a worthless endeavour.

Concerning the bolded you already are saying in plain English that you have already matched a crime to a specific suspect. Also how often do you see criminals abandon their SIMS at a crime scene? How would you know which sims are active or not unless you already had a suspect?

This is a myth, I have never heard of anyone losing money from a simple phone call unless they told the scammers their bank details.

It's a good thing in disguise.
That would stop using untraceable or unlinked or unrecognized numbers to do heinous crimes. To be frank with you, forget government incompetency, it's for a stronger national security and to stop crime.

When one does crime with a linked line, they security agency will catch the person through the recognised lines, if you escape, the catch your frequent calls or next of kin.

For me, it's good.
