Popular Nollywood actor Andy best, a Nollywood producer is dead.

Chief Nnadi hails from Umunkwo Village in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo state and was the CEO of Andy Best Production, a foremost movie production firm in Nigeria. Andy Best produced so many Nollywood movies like The Lion of Africa, White Poison, My Father’s Cup and others. His Youtube Channel has many of his movies.

His remains have been deposited at the Aladinma Mortuary, in Owerri.

The Nigeria police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja said they have arrested the second most wanted kidnapper, Samaila Wakili Fafa, popularly known as Habu Ibrahim in the Sardauna Forest, Toto, Nasarawa State.

This arrest was made public by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, in a statement on Tuesday, noting that Samaila is the second of two wanted kidnappers, on whom the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike had placed a N20 million bounty.



The statement reads in part, “The operatives of the FCT Police Command, in a continued effort against banditry in FCT and its environs, on February 24, 2024 at about 7:05 PM, acting on credible intelligence, stormed Sardauna Forest, Toto, Nasarawa State and arrested one Samaila Wakili Fafa A.K.A Habu Ibrahim, a kidnap kingpin who has been on the wanted list of the Command for a long time and bounty placed on his head by the Hon. Minister FCT.

“The suspect is one of the two kidnappers the Honorable Minister FCT placed bounty on, as the other one namely Saidu Abdulkadir A.K.A Dahiru Adamu, had earlier been arrested by the Command.

“He confessed that his syndicate masterminded and executed several kidnappings in FCT and its environs, including the abduction of Barr. Chris Agidy, the legal aide to Senator Ned Nwoko and Mr Sunday Yahaya Zakwai, the district head of Ketti Village who were later killed by them. Samaila Wakili further led police operatives to where the remains of Barr. Chris Agidy is. The remains were recovered and deposited in Gwagwalada General Hospital.”


“While investigation is still ongoing, the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, psc, mni, wishes to reiterate his unflinching commitment to combat crime and criminality in all its manifestations and to ensure safety of residents. Her middle name is chosen in honor of her paternal grandmother mother, who died in 1995 at the age of 52 from ovarian cancer.

Malia focuses to become a screenwriter with a degree majoring in Visual and Environmental Studies from the prestigious Harvard University in USA.

Malia directed and wrote the script for her movie, “The Heart“. It was written in her new name, Malia Ann.

The movie was first premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival in early February, 2024.

A real-time footage of plants talking to each other has been captured on camera for the first time by a team of Japanese scientists from the Saitama University in Japan, ushering a groundbreaking milestone in plant communication.

This significant achievement, led by molecular biologist Masatsugu Toyota, published in the journal Nature Communications, is a leading breakthrough in Plant Communication.

It features a video showing a real-time footage of plants transmitting defense responses to their neighbours captured when the researchers observed plant communications as part of their studies to explore the subject in a more detailed manner.

Working with Masatsugu Toyota on his team were Yuri Aratani, a Ph.D. student, and Takuya Uemura, a postdoctoral researcher, amongst others.

The study shows an observation of undamaged plants responding to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by other plants experiencing mechanical damage or insect attacks.

The Arabidopsis plants were genetically engineered to fluoresce green upon detecting calcium ions, which act as stress messengers.

Using a fluorescence microscope, the team could monitor the signals released by the undamaged plants after they received VOCs from the damaged leaves.


Plants do communicate with each other as soon as they sense danger in their neighbourhood. Scientists have knowledge of this phenomenon since the 1980s, and have identified at least 80 species who act in their defence in crisis situations.

Despite the knowledge of plant communication, it was still shrouded in mystery as to how exactly plants receive such danger signals from their neighbours until this recent study by Masatsugu Toyota and his team shedding lights on the exact communication pattern, as captured in the research video.

Viral officer of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Shem Obafaiye whose interview with Channels TV in 2013 brought about the popular phrase ‘My Oga at the top,’ said he patented the slogan after it went viral.

He said this during a recent interview on Channels TV’s morning program Sunrise Daily where he recounted his experience when his interview on the same station went viral for the wrong reasons 10 years ago.

Origin Of ‘Oga At The Top’ Slogan
In 2014, during a Channels TV‘s morning program Sunrise Daily, Obafaiye, then the Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps was interviewed on the need to know the correct website of the corps to avoid misleading job seekers. His response would later attract nationwide attention, leading to a popular phrase that is now used in daily conversations in pidgin English.

On the interview, Obafaiye was asked, “What is the website of the NSCDC?” And he responded, “I cannot categorically tell you one now.” He was asked again, “Do you mean that NSCDC has multiple websites?” He responded, “We can’t have multiple websites but I cannot tell you one now, and my Oga at the top say is another one and the one we are going to make use of will be made known by my Oga at the top.” Many Nigerians considered his response inappropriate and it went viral

The phrase became very popular and is often used in pidgin English to designate anyone with higher authority in Nigeria till date.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2023, ten years after the interview that went viral, Obafaiye Shem made a return to Channels TV’s morning program, Sunrise Daily, but this time, in mufti.

According to Obafaiye, he appeared on the program in mufti because he had retired from active duty. He also disclosed that his wife patented the “My Oga at the Top” slogan with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry, and added that he would demand for money from anyone who used it without an permission from him.

He admitted that he had psychological traumas when the interview went viral. He also admitted that many years after, he watches and laughs over the 2013 interview.

Shem Obafaiye Promoted

The week before the return interview, Obafaiye was promoted and decorated as Deputy Commandant-General of the NSCDC. This promotion came after he had retired.

When asked why he was promoted after retirement, he attributed it to the will of God.

A Facebook food vendor, Mr. Baptist Amah and operator a popular food influencing page, Baptist Nature Kitchen has revealed how Pastor Jerry Eze and founder of the Streams of Joy International Ministries funded him to feed about 1000 children living in orphanages within Akwa Ibom state.

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, donated a multi million naira life support Ambulance to assist the Rivers State Government in the fight against Covid 19 pandemic in the state.

Releasing the Ambulance in Port Harcourt today April 11th 2020, the Apostle said he will never relent in his effort to continue to support the Government in whatever measures within his reach to fight the satanic epidemic manufactured from the pit of hell to sweep the earth of its inhabitants.

The General Overseer who runs a free specialist Hospital in Rivers State said the donation is made from the members tithes and offerings of the Church.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Rivers State Government, the Commissioner of Health, Prof. Princewill Chike appreciated the servant of God for rare gift to the Ministry of Health and indeed the Rivers State Government in general, he urge other agencies and corporate organisations to emulate the foot steps of OPM in ensuring the complete eradication of Covid 19 in the society.

Speaking further, the health Commissioner said the disease has mess up the medical profession and differed every known medical cure. He urge all and sundry to comply with all the prescribed preventive measures to guarantee a healthy society.

The 18th of February 2020 was a very remarkable day in the lives of 16 young men and women as their dream to leave Nigeria to study abroad finally became a reality.
The 16 beneficiaries of an all expense paid university scholarship in turkey and their friends, family and well wishers converged at the residence of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere in preparation for their departure.

It was a show of emotion as parents of the beneficiaries had the opportunity to dance with their children one after the other. The parents who never in their wildest dream imagined that their children would get a university degree abroad wept for joy as they thanked God for remembering their family.

The parents of the 16 young men and women couldn't contain their joy as each and everyone of them spoke about how God had used Apostle Chibuzor to touch their lives positively. According to them, Even before picking their children for the scholarship, Apostle Chibuzor had been a blessing to them financially and spiritually.
Amongst them was a former sex worker who was rehabilitated by the church and a restaurant was opened for her. While she was doing her business, she met a young man who asked her hand in marriage. The day she came to testify in the church and dedicate her wedding card the general overseer of OPM decided to surprise her with a wedding gift. A mini-estate was given to her. And now her daughter she gave birth to when she was still in the world was also a beneficiary of the overseas scholarship. Another mother to a beneficiary also talked about how Apostle Chibuzor gifted her family a hummer jeep which they sold and used the money to start up business. In fact , they all had something beautiful to say about Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere who is a father with a heart of Gold.

Speaking to the press, Apostle Chibuzor said that the boys and girls that were selected for the scholarship were from indigent homes as a team was set up to ensure that only underprivileged families benefited from the scholarship scheme.

According to Apostle Chibuzor, the church had been in the business of granting foreign scholarships to indigent boys and girls as the 16 persons going to turkey where not the first. He said that he had in the past granted educational scholarships to persons from indigent homes to countries like Dubai,Cyprus, Canada. Etc.

When asked about the four persons that where denied visa's, Apostle Chibuzor told people present that the four persons who where denied Visa's had reapplied.
The school fees and monies required to give the 20 young men and women sound education in Turkey without financial difficulties had already been paid. The Turkish university had intervened and hopefully the four would join the 16 others soonest.

At the Airport, parents were seen clinging to their children and giving them their blessings. As the beneficiaries of the Educational scholarship scheme proceeded to board the plane that would take them to lagos where they would board a plane to turkey, tears of joy was seen on everyone's faces.

For the young men and women, a new dawn had begun. They had gone from persons with no tertiary education due to financial difficulties to persons who would in the nearest future bag a degree from a foreign university.

We wish the beneficiaries of the scholarship the best that life has to offer.

All this is funded with offerings and tithes.
