Constant practice is the key, you can do it morning and night then 1day off to cool down/heal your muscles. If you run 2km today in say 15min try as much as possible to better the distance or timing or both when next you go out even though it's by an Extra 10metres or lesser time.
Another important thing is to learn how to control your breathing when running and make sure you start at a reasonable pace you can maintain or even better throughout your workout. Getting a running partner and eating right can also help.

Thanks Chief. This is highly appreciated.

I even pray it's going to be endurance trekking of 30km because every time I think of running for 3km, fear dey catch me

Omo, see ehn I've been trying the 3km race for the past few weeks but I have managed to beat the 20mins timing only once. The rest of the time I'm burned out after the first 2km, on Tuesday I had a mild sprain on my ankle sef.

I know that the army does not give a damn, but some of us are just regular guys that have not even done any strenuous activity in ages. Just saw someone on my Twitter TL do 11.35km in 1hr 24mins and I'm in awe, because if I try am it will only end in tears.

For the senior men, pls if you have any tips on how to properly prepare for the physical training it would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The 3km sef, how man take finish, talk more of 30km.

Haaaa shocked shocked.
So he/she was telling the truth afterall. God is in control.
We have really lost the spirit of camaraderie on this thread.
It is well.

It was always every man for himself, the first set of successful people that were contacted should have given you an insight that "camaraderie" no epp anybody.

Nigeria is a jungle, so it has become a case of the survival of the fittest, cunniest, most fraudulent, deceitful. Even amongst family there is no mutual trust, not to talk of among strangers.

P.S You're also breaking the camaraderie code by speaking in parables. We move still

Hlo guys..... Coming across the attached information from an official profit marking organisation WhatsApp group confused me more.

It's tym we have update on this platform, without flow of information here I think the aim for us gathering on this platform is to hoard information. Tomorrow is the beginning of another week any one with useful info should share it, this is 2021 NITDA new intake are resuming tomorrow others are likely to issue APL this month. It's good we should know when to HALT. For me if nothing happen this first quarter I will focus my hope elsewhere.

Thanks

Hello house, someone should please enlighten me on this matter.
I have received APL from Nirsal mfb in which we are to resume work on 04/01/2021, and i just received another invitation mail to a 3 days program that will come up between 11-13/01/2021 and the mail also started our new resumption date which is 25/01/2021.
My issue now is, are we going to get pay for the month of January? Because I think they should be responsible for the change of plan.
Thanks.

That is solely at the discretion of the agency. As much as the lack of payment may alter your own plans and possible budget, It still does not change the grand scheme which is the fact that you are already employed by the agency and going forward it will only get better. Wish you the best of luck.

Nigeria will not crumble, Nigeria is working, Nigeria will be great....please stop bad mouthing our country. Nigeria is still better than thousands of countries out dia..I pray and hope for a better Nigeria, by God's grace

Guy forget all this declaration, it is not by that. Is Nigeria working with all the plethora of issues plaguing us? This thread itself has enough evidence of part of what is wrong with Nigeria.

Let's not lie to ourselves, as it stands we have to borrow to fund our budget and it is not about us being better than some countries, our population growth is a major disadvantage for us because we are not developing to meet the needs of our growing population.

Every negative index is on the increase daily, even God must be tired of us at this point. Because if we like, let us pray from now to eternity as long as we don't put in the needed work, nothing will get better.

Recently one of Bishop Adeboye's old tweets surfaced where he was praying against the rise of the exchange rate which was 180/$ as at then, but is Nigeria set up to allow that happen?

I used to be a staunch optimist about Nigeria, but wetin man eye don see eehn.

Lol... This whole debacle has shown me that it is impossible to please humans, especially Nigerians.
Maybe when we start to face the reality of our situation as a country and stop living in denial, we may have a chance at progressing.

Just recently, one of the president's SA got an appointment as an Assistant director at NIA when he is most likely underqualified for the job. And we know that job hunting is a matter of who you know, so which part of her story is unfamiliar to you people that is triggering the name calling.

I have been part of the people that have called her out in the past, but I obviously don't understand why there is a need for such this time around. I'm not understanding all this talks of chasing clout especially on a faceless forum or the condescension towards those who have chosen to believe her.

Regardless of the truth, it doesn't change the reality of the average job seeker in Nigeria. If you need a narration like that before you feel bad about the state of things in the country, then you are also living in a bubble.

I don't see why someone saying that they are moving from one agency to another should be riling up such bile.
Sending you love and light and if you want to take shots at people, you should make sure it is specific, make your weyrey no dey disguise.
Nobody has a monopoly of been uncouth and loudmouthed.

Some of us won’t come here and brag. Some are better placed and with better connections. She is probably too young and naive.

Everyone can't act/behave the same way. And any one who has seen some of her previous posts on the thread will agree that there's some of improvement in her way of passing up on info.

And the single fact that she reiterated that she is not trying to mock anyone or brag already absolves her of any blame because she has already posted about her wanting to make the switch in the past.

Some have a problem with oversharing while some don't. Ultimately, we grow and learn as we go about Life. Best of luck

Blatant show off. You don’t flaunt children in the presence of a barren and you don’t brag about being healthy when you visit the sick. You have your “mum” and your close pals to help you with your dilemma. You don’t rub your success on people’s failure especially when it’s not on merit.
Congratulations.

LOL... You people should be trying and be calming down. She has had history with this thread in times past about her diction or posturing.

But you will be doing too much by trying to blame her for anything, na today you discover say this Naija terrain no balance? The order of life has it that someone might be celebrating while another is grieving. And as long as the person celebrating isn't responsible for the plight of the grieving individual then I don't see the problem.

Make people kuku stop to give testimony for church about jobs or children because there will always be barren/unemployed people in the congregation.

And in this case you case you can't blame her because if any of us had the opportunity, we would surely not be here forming faux virtue.

If the thread should depend on info about people getting jobs on merit alone, then it will definitely become a ghost town. Because we will only be deceiving ourselves if we refuse to acknowledge how negligible the place of merit has become.
We go dey alright las las.
