Blatant show off. You don’t flaunt children in the presence of a barren and you don’t brag about being healthy when you visit the sick. You have your “mum” and your close pals to help you with your dilemma. You don’t rub your success on people’s failure especially when it’s not on merit.
Congratulations.
LOL... You people should be trying and be calming down. She has had history with this thread in times past about her diction or posturing.

But you will be doing too much by trying to blame her for anything, na today you discover say this Naija terrain no balance? The order of life has it that someone might be celebrating while another is grieving. And as long as the person celebrating isn't responsible for the plight of the grieving individual then I don't see the problem.

Make people kuku stop to give testimony for church about jobs or children because there will always be barren/unemployed people in the congregation.

And in this case you case you can't blame her because if any of us had the opportunity, we would surely not be here forming faux virtue.

If the thread should depend on info about people getting jobs on merit alone, then it will definitely become a ghost town. Because we will only be deceiving ourselves if we refuse to acknowledge how negligible the place of merit has become.
We go dey alright las las.

So please I want you to point out where I might wished somebody death!!! Or even ridiculed someone that it wasn’t a response to something the person said.. please I beg you to point it out
As for the dragging and ridiculing I'll use the most recent case of "MS office". Sorry, screenshots are not my thing. And I didn't imply that the death wish was made by you, except you're buying the job on behalf of the person that made it.

No need for the back and forth honestly, this issue is worn-out as it is. All this one no epp anybody, the koko be say let's learn to tolerate each other and even when there's need for dragging let us not allow it to get to extreme levels. And above all, even if na who misyarn make we dey try correct them.
All the best man

Personally I am done commenting on this issue because of how irrelevant it is. Apologies to everyone for constituting nuisance on the thread or if i had struck a nerve with my diction.
All the best guys.

Mehn... If I were to be from your state, I would not waste any more time before enrolling in a special class for composition and writing skills enhancement.

Your Village guys have a lot of work to do if they want to get at least half your mark in composition writing, except well, if they are as good as you have shown.

Undoubtedly, the screening would likely involve writing a composition on why we want to join the army, I have no doubt that you would ace that aspect with relative ease.

Let's give to Caesar, what belongs to Caesar, I must say, your writing is top notch! Keep it up.
LOL... Yallabai, thanks for the kind words.
May the almighty God crown our efforts with the much needed success.

Many of us have been dragged here but our own psyche or mental rigidity was never put into consideration nah! So what’s all this talk about mental whatever?
And you have also dragged or ridiculed people here too and in your own words "What goes around, comes around". But when one starts wishing or implying death, then it's no longer dragging but something sinister and distasteful.

But as you've said earlier "Everywhere Hypocrites" and that sure includes every single one of us.

It is possible to acknowledge that SFcomander has gone too far in the needless and persistent dropping of false info and also agree that some of your approach towards calling him out were somewhat extreme.

It is always important to know when to separate issues and above all the need for empathy when dealing with fellow humans because we are not infallible ourselves.

Digging up a few old posts without context or a proper understanding of the poster's psyche at the time does not prove anything but the fact that regardless of our present stand we are all capable of being uncouth and resorting to harsh/unkind words, but that still doesn't make us bad people.

Truth is that we all have our own personal reasons and motivation for embarking on this quest to join the NA and regardless of those reasons I don't think anyone is more deserving than the other, especially considering that whether one is deserving or not isn't even up to us either.

At the end of the day it is up to the universe/fate/God to crown our efforts, so why should we bother ourselves with non issues that are not part of our target. Sheath your swords brethren and "Live and let's live", but that wouldn't stop anyone that behaves anyhow from getting dragged(non extreme dragging) grin

LOL. Will clarify. There was never any list passed from one Administration to another, thus, nothing referred to like Second batch as widely said here.
Rather what is about to happen is a quite recent compilation. I can tell you authoritatively, that 95% of those to be contacted before the end of this year were just recently interviewed(for formality/security/indemnity) sometime around mid August of this year, some of which did not apply with us in 2016/didn't scale through the aptitude test. The remaining 5% are from the powerful few that made it to the interview in December 2017.
The position that there was a 2nd batch already drafted/approved by Ladan is untrue.

You can confirm all these.
In other words, Wahala for who no know anybody be dat.

Once you click on the link that popped up when you downloaded it earlier, the documents will show up again and you'll be able to save it again.

from your analogy.......
85%........
30% openly come out
70% do not
70 +30=100%
85-30=55%
Abeg help me.......
Not one to delve into such debacles but i guess since we are all educated folks here.
Let met help you with a quick one, no be everything be maths, sometimes it's logic.
10000 applied that's 100%
85% of that will be 8500
So now the 70% and 30% he is referring to will be restricted to the 85% which is 8500.
And for the record, I am not a fan of the Delhi guy and his antics but sometimes we need to look at the message objectively while ignoring the messenger. Truth will always remain that nobody is ever privy to what goes on behind the scenes and anybody who has had a good stint with job hunting especially in the context of govt recruitments will be foolish to downplay the role that connections play. Because someone tells you they don't know anybody doesn't mean that is exactly the case.

Some of the guys that drop info here with a high level of accuracy don't just come across this classified info on their front porch, it is because they know someone somewhere and even the likes of such people will have you believe that they don't really know anybody or have anybody helping them (not trying to berate them, just about any of us will want to have that privilege)

I always like to use my experience on the DPR thread as an example because I was just a newbie out of school and that thread had some of the most talks about Merit and anyone who chose to speak otherwise was tagged a hater/pessimist, but at the end of the day the merit was more of talks from people with connections in high places. In their defense it can be argued that they are also people who got it on merit having made it as far as the interview stage.

I'm a first time applicant here and I know zilch about the processes of this recruitment/screening, but I'm sure that your connections will only come to Play if you pass the Medicals and is considered fit (I remember sometimes back some guy posted about having to drop out of Navy training despite his connections).

Bottom line remains that once you have met the requirements and having made it past Medicals, there are those that rely solely on fate/GOD, while there are those that are relying on varying levels of connections. At the end of the day there are people on both sides that will make it and there are those that won't due to alot of factors.

Apologies for my Lengthy Write Up, The mass communicator in me comes to play sometimes and hopefully the Army PR Corp will have space for someone like me with no connection grin
Best of luck to everyone writing the test and safe journey to those traveling. Be safe, na pesin wey dey alive dey make final list of Training.
