Zeddyzed: It is okay to be pessimistic, but there's a thin line between pessimism and folly in certain instances. In your case you're just displaying your ignorance and trying to project your insecurities on others. At least the said person has not asked anybody for a dime and for all the time she's been on the thread no one has accused her of ripping anybody. So what is really the color of your problem If you don't believe anyone is charitable enough to give people job on Nairaland, then just face your front because your hot tek doesn't help anyone. You think most people on the thread have enough money to get by or even enough to give any scammer It seems you don't know what it feels like to be unemployed or underemployed? Stop forming CIA or defender of the helpless because you're just making mockery of yourself and your opinion doesn't count for much in the grand scheme of the life of the average Nigerian job hunter Waiting for your reply, where you try to connect the dots on how I'm working in cohorts with her "Mr I know all the scammer playbook" 9 Likes |

worried222: It seems you're a novice in the Nigerian job hunting scene, nobody has time for hunting job slot sellers or whatever it is that you just typed because it is not regular people who happen to have slots for sale. As for your anti scamming advocacy, it is not needed here and should not be directed at any individual who has not requested for payment of any sort from anyone. Applying for Jobs and giving it your best is not enough in Nigeria or else graduating would have been just enough to get one by, allow those who want to do more than just hope for the best to do so. At the end of the day everyone is expected to tread with caution without anybody advising them 10 Likes |

Mohisah: The average Nigerian and wanting to deflect from the main issue. Why is somebody whose original salary is 60k collecting 400k? Is she better than her other colleagues on the same rank/position? What is wrong is wrong, it's a different thing if the difference is just small. But over 500% difference is not even an issue of bad belle or hating, that's criminal on every ground. Hiding your salary is not the issue, but is your salary actually what you are entitled to? Lastly, we can never make progress as a country if we don't do the right things or correct the wrong ones. Good morning 40 Likes |

philipianlobbos: Goodluck to those that are going to apply. After what I went through during the last recruitment, I'm not willing to joke with my mental health over a bazaar type of recruitment. In fact I wouldn't advice anyone applying with a non specialised course to apply. Miracles still happen, but not in the context of present day Nigeria. 1 Like |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NDLEA Releases List Of Candidates For Final Screening by TheWizPhoenix(m): 3:17pm On May 21, 2021 |
The process is very smooth and seamless. The first process is having your name ticked at the office by the gate. After which you'll proceed to where you'll be cleared and your confirmation slip(the first printout that has your image) will be signed. After then you'll proceed to the clinic where they'll check your height, weight and collect your urine in a test kit, the test result will be revealed by the kit and a medical certificate signed by a medical personnel. Afterwards you'll proceed to the Hall where you'll have to pull your shoes and socks, your legs, hands, feet, posture will be checked, they also check for tattoo. And then you'll proceed to someone who will arrange the photocopies of your credentials in a certain order including the medical certificate you carried to camp. The next stage is screening of documents and you don't have any problem as long as your age and years of graduating from primary, secondary and university is consistent and does add up logically. The last stage is interview by the commandant and other senior officers on the recruitment board. The main questions revolved around what you can offer based on your field of study and for some it was about their senators, governors. You'll go in to the Hall in group of 10s,that is ten candidates per set. After the interview the photocopies of your credentials Will be collected before leaving the Hall. All the best to everyone. 8 Likes 1 Share |

mouyiwa: So you think the Director that replied with "it's authentic" is a liar?? Or the scammers were able to get hold of his account to send that reply? Whether it's Gmail or not is insignificant at this point(Even the website for the recruitment left alot to be desired because of the Nigerian factor). And like i said earlier, the email doesn't contain anything suspicious for one to even want to want to consider it scam, at least not yet. Btw I am of the opinion that the possibility of scammers putting in effort into personalizing the mail for each candidate with Name/Reference number and not put in request for some form of payment is almost non existent. 2 Likes |

Crystalfragranc: LOL. Everything is always fake to you people once it doesn't suit your narratives, at least they are not asking anybody for money. All they are asking candidates to indicate is the number of languages they can speak and their level of Proficiency in it. And at least those receiving the messages were part of those that received messages for screening in Jan and some were even in camp before the postponement. And next time you want to argue, bring facts and receipts or don't even bother. Go and search for the account "Femi Babafemi" on Twitter at least he cannot be fake because the Official NDLEA handle always tags him on all their posts as he is the Director of Media(NDLEA) and if he says it is not fake then I'll take his word over random Anon monikers on Nairaland. 5 Likes 1 Share |

HarunaWest: The only FG job i wouldn't advice you to to drop over a 1.9 private org job is probably FCSC and even in the long run it will be more beneficial than the private job. Nobody has the exact figures for tetfund but I'm sure the annual pay should be in the region of 2m P.A if not more than that. Another thing you should consider is the relevance and importance of the Agency which will be a major factor in the overall renumeration of the staff. Theres no need for the back and forth, except you are paying to get the job in which case your connect should be in a better position to inform you of the salary/allowances. 2 Likes |

My score is showing 68% and as much as my math is rusty I know it is impossible to get that score if each question carries 1.5marks. Just curious, even though I passed. |

onlineliberty: Leemao. It's not only survival of the fittest, survival series ni. You obviously don't know how such things work, as you're confident of your own performance, there are thousands too who are confident of their own performance and even naturally did better. So just chill because sharing or not sharing is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and just hope for the best. Dem no dey carry first and even if you carry first position it still doesn't automatically guarantee the job. 1 Like

JayromWrites: Never been the brightest at the sciences, or I would say "I don't have the range when it comes to any thing that has to do with calculations". The question for the science guys might have been complex probably because of the number of people that applied and it could be their own way of shedding the number of applicants. But I guess you'll just have to hope for the best. I applied for Civic education and I must say that in my own case, the questions were pretty basic(though I was unsure of a few questions), and I have not met/seen anyone that wrote the same subject so I'll be able to know if they share the same sentiments with me. At the end of the day, the performance based on the different subjects will determine their course of action going forward. All the best to everyone, especially our future Maths, Physics and Chemistry teachers(una dey try). |

40 questions in 30 minutes Questions are strictly based on the subject you applied for. There wasn't any use of the time on the invite in Zaria center. Even if your picture is not showing on the invite, just go, several people have the same issues. As long as you have a proper understanding of the subject you applied for, the questions should not be difficult to answer. All the best. 1 Like |

Unknownuser: The only difference with the other threads is that there's no one coming to sell the false hope for a second list that may never see the light of day or even ending up contradicting themselves and still expect that people won't call them out. All the valid info and source that Marvel and Xtruzz shared, what did it translate to at the end of the day? Not to forget that people literally worshipped them on the thread and were willing to go to any length to defend them. It's understandable that the proposed outcomes were beyond their control, so they are not to blame. At this point anybody lurking around the thread is only hoping for a miracle because the DPR job will be a proper upgrade on their present status and in the event nothing happens, then it's just a matter of maintaining the status quo with regards our varying individual lives. So there's no need for anyone to come and start forming voltron of info or forcing it on others, because there's literally nothing we haven't seen or heard on this thread. At the end of the day, it's really not a do or die affair afterall. 1 Like |
