Culture / It’s High Time People Of South United ―ooni, Others by Theydontcare: 4:17pm On Mar 04, 2018
THE Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and other traditional rulers, including Attah of Igala, Dr. Michael Amen Oboni; the Jaja of Opobo, King Dandeson Douglas; the Oba of Benin His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolopolo, on Wednesday in Lagos all agreed that flowing from the historical linkages of the people of the South, it is high time the people unite.

The royal fathers, as well as leaders, including the Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Professor of History, Prof Banji Akintoye, among others, spoke at a Conference on African Origins, described as the beginning of an extensive public awareness to enlighten and empower the black African with their true genetic and cultural histories.

It followed a new scientific evidence on the dominance of the Yoruba genetics in the evolution of black race all over the world as presented by the author of The Blackworld: Evolution to Revolution, Prince Justice Faloye.

While agreeing that they share common ancestors also unanimously agreed to work together in peace henceforth.

Speaking at the event on the new findings, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi urged the people of the southern part of the country to return to back to the era of their common ancestry and unite for peace and progress.

“You have heard series of lectures and a couple of speakers. It is about time to unite and be one and speak with one voice, especially we the aborigines. We that we have a lot of similarities.

“United we stand, divided we fall. Everything is there for us to see. Let us come together for the sake of generation yet unborn. We cannot continue like this,” the Ooni said.

According to him, it is better for the people of South to speak with one voice and protect one another across the board, saying the generation yet unborn would be happy with such development, even as he warned that there was a serious danger in the division.

“If we speak with one voice and protect one and other across the board, the generation yet unborn will be happy. We cannot continue to be divided. We are killing ourselves. Let us look inwards to take our region to the next level. It is very critical for us to know our culture. Look at Japan, China, India, even the USA, they did not jettison their heritage,” Ooni Ogunwusi said.

Earlier, the President, Genetic Society of Nigeria, Prof Kwon Ndung, who spoke on the topic: “An Overview of the Genetic/DNA Studies on Origin, Migration and Diversity of African People from the Background of the Human Genome Project,” said studies have since established both genetic and cultural links between the Yoruba, Ibo, Igala, Tiv, Udoma and other major tribes in the South.

According to Ndung, a complete sequence of pooled DNA extracted from cells donated by anonymous donors had established that 70 per cent of Nigerians were the original Africans.

According to King Jaja of Opobo, “This is the best thing we are doing now to promote our culture and homogeneity. I am happy to be here. Let us tell the government that a nation without history can go nowhere.

“We should come together. The Civic Study they teach in schools cannot replace history. So, this lectures should be put together as a compendium for generations to come to learn about our history.”

President, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, was particularly excited about the discovery of the common ancestors shared by the Yoruba, Ibo and other tribes in the Southern part of the country, saying that he was extremely delighted to be part of the gathering.

“I’m extremely delighted to be here. What I have heard today, not just from the scholars, but also from the traditional rulers elates me.

“One thing that is clear is that in the
evolution tree, the world started in Africa. What this goes to show is that we are the same but colonial rules and postcolonial military ruler has bastardised our origin and disfigured our imagination. This symposium has opened our eyes to our commonalities. I invite you to hold this symposium in Enugu so that out people can learn about our common origins,” Nwodo said.

Prof Akintoye also agreed that the findings must be thought to the children, saying it must be proclaimed ion the rooftop that the original black people had discovered their history.

“We must push it forward. We must teach it to our children. We must proclaim it on the rooftop that the original black people have discovered our history,” Akintoye said.
Culture / Lessons From Haiti For True Yoruba Liberation by Theydontcare: 4:10pm On Mar 04, 2018
Created in 1804, Haiti (Ayiti) was the first modern Black nationstate.

Unfortunately while Europeans learnt valuable lessons which are still useful to them from the Haiti experience, Yorubas, the largest original African group, has been kept in dark by an educational system that purports Mungo Park discovered Niger and slavery was stopped by William Wilberforce who brought out the goodness of a White enslaver.

We have failed to learn from the only successful slave revolution in human history to become a nation-state, despite being inspired from a Yoruba festival.

We fail to learn the essence of the colonial policy known as La Politique de doublure – a system whereby old Black generals were put in place to sellout the nation.

Haiti was the jewel of French America, providing no less than 40percent of French income. To achieve this, the French using the Catholic inspired Code Noir implemented the most brutal regime known to humanity – out of 850,000 Africans imported only 480,000 survived in within a short period. Enslaved Yorubas were only limited to a ten year lifespan before wasted. Torture tools were common place and for mere stealing sugarcane, unborn babies were slashed out of their pregnant mothers.

In 1750, an Ifa/voodoo priest, Francois Mackandral led a movement to poison their White masters, which sent fear throughout the Saint Domingue island later renamed Haiti.

Without weapons, the mainly first and second generation Africans, majority Yoruba, still spoke their language and knew their culture, especially the knowledge of herbs and poisons.

However, Mackandral was soon caught and burnt at the stake. This only strengthened the resolve of the Africans but drove them underground to build on his network of Ifa priests.

The revolution was delayed by geopolitical events, but eventually on the 14th of August 1791, 200 Ifa priests were assembled by Boukman Dutty and Fatima Cecile at Bwa Kayiman (Alligator Woods). Fatima kicked off the Ogun ceremony with the sacrifice of a huge pig. The Ogun festival lasted for 7days after which the Africans left to revolt, destroying 220 sugar plantations,, 600 coffee plantations and 200 hundred indigo plantations. Over 100,000 Africans were involved.

However the revolution was to be diluted by mulattoes that acted like Afro-Asians/ Fulani. They supported abolition of slavery but didn’t want blacks to be on the same sociopolitical level with them. As the revolution dragged on Dutty Boukman and other leaders were killed, while the African traditionalists allowed in new partners. It has been alleged that the USA actually backed Francois Toussaint to takeover.

Toussaint was an experienced soldier and well educated to bargain with the French. Unfortunately, while the originators of the revolution wanted total freedom, Toussaint wanted Haiti to become a French colony whereby more respect will be given to mulattoes, unlike a free nation that will turn the racial arrangement upside down.

Fortunately for the true Africans, Napoleon was too racist to accept the generous offer and instead kidnapped and jailed Toussaint on a ship offshore.

It was a grave mistake on the part of the French as it allowed the Original Africans to retake control of the revolution.

Led by Dessalines, Black Haitians fought and defeated USA, France and Britain. They won complete independence in 1804 and went on to massacre the Frenchmen and turned their women into prostitutes.

This sent a chill down the spines of all white slave owners across the Americas, since in every colony there were 10 times more African slaves than Whites.

Especially as the Ogun revolution spread across South and Central America – 1795 Second Maroon War, 1798 Bush Negroes revolt in Guyana, 1795 Felon rebellion in Grenada and on practically every West Indian island. By 1805, every South American nation, except Brazil, was free from slavery.

The Black African freedom fighters, not the mulattoes or Taino Indians as later claimed named the New nation, Ayiti meaning unbeatable in Yoruba and established a state recognized pantheon of Orishas, which included Dessalines.

The loss of Haiti put Napoleon’s America dreams in tatters and made him sell Louisiana to the USA since it now longer use Haiti and a stopover for his ships.

The French were to resort to divide and rule and backed the Southern mulattoes against the full Black rule.

In the first ten years of independence, the black Africans, majority Yoruba known as Nago, built a model state with free education, efficient public works and production of sugar and coffee doubled under the cooperative societies established.

Haiti was a model state envied by white citizens in England, because the English didn’t enjoy the rights and universal suffrage till the 1832 British electoral reform.

The French were to arm the mulattoes to takeover and destroy the Black Haiti economy and polity. The Christian Mulattoes were to sellout the spirit of the Original African revolution. Old general after old general came into power to rape the nation and sellout to France. By 1825, the old generals had signed a commitment to pay a $125m never ending debt till today for their colonization.

To stop a reoccurring Ogun revolution, the Catholic Church came down heavily on African values and whitewashed the revolution. It wasn’t until the global Black renaissance of the early 1900s that the process of reclaiming the true history of the revolution started, especially by CLR James.

It wasn’t until the 1950s coming to power of African Renaissance (The Groits) President Duvalier aka Papa Doc that AFRICAN culture was once again allowed freely in public space. Papa Doc was once again Ayiti (unbeatable) by the Western Powers. He used Yoruba traditions to inspire, empower and mobilize against the Eurocentric elites. Whenever the Church and Western Powers used propaganda to bring out the urban elites and their civil societies to protest, Papa Doc called in to rural dwellers and traditionalists who came out with cutlasses and juju charms to confront them.

His legacy continued after his death into the Eighties by those known as Duvalierists, who fought unconstitutional provisions in protests known as ‘Aba konstitisyon kominis’ (Yoruba French pidgin for curse the communist constitution) traditionalists revolts.

However, in one of the interlude Eurocentric regimes, the Church and mulattoes ordered the cutting of all trees to stop the practise of dropping Orisha sacrifices at tree roots and children of traditionalists were barred from schools. The deforestation was to bring about huge floods that killed thousands.

The pertinent lessons from the successful revolution are that Yoruba beliefs could be the basis of a true Black revolution – Oya the Orisha of revolution/Ogun the Orisha of war/Shango the Orisha of Justice were common themes used to educate and agitate.

In fact, there has been no successful Black revolution on any other cultural platform. It is doubtful whether another family’s Oriki could used to educate and inspire your children and unite your family.

Also, mulattoes, Afro-Asians and Eurocentric AFRICAN elite are more likely to betray a true Original African revolution because they won’t want to leave their elevated positions in the oppressors political and belief system, which was why Stalin in Russia and Mao in China had to kill off millions of irretrievable mental and cultural slaves.

For its role in the destruction of African plantation slavery system, Haiti has been ostracized and continuously sabotaged by the Western Powers and it’s only hope is if it’s Yoruba homeland can become truly liberated, economically and politically.

Last but not the least ímportant is the fact that we are approaching the same astrological point that the Ayiti revolution took place as Oya joins with SHANGO to bring about another global Black revolution. And this is actually a bigger and more powerful cycle to launch a 2000yr era of global Black economic justice and ascendancy.

I have spoken with all paramount monarchs of all the major ethnic groups in South and Middlebelt and they are are aware it is time for a cultural revolution.

I don’t believe in armed revolution, instead I believe the greatest revolution is that of the mind.

In biblical text, Revelation 6 verse 5, unlike weaponized the first and second horsemen, the 3rd horseman that depicts this era holds a scale of justice. While our Muslim brothers attest to the fact that the jihad of the mind (jakande) is stronger than jihad of the sword.

IPOB`s are comedians!

No longer Israel! grin grin grin

At this rate of foolishness, they still going to beg Saudi-Arabia for assistance

They need to develop a more robust way of fighting their battle. This grandstanding and hateful lies will not help. Also unnecessary ranting will not help them achieve their goal. More IPOB leaders requires strategics thinking and unprecedented level of wisdom - this of course should help their agenda more. At the moment their agenda is doomed to fail. Let them go into politics, let them first fight the enemy within before taking their fight beyond the South East. Even If it takes 12 years let the next fight be won on the basis love for IPOB and everything it stands for. There is nothing wrong in fighting for self determination, their struggle must be fair and firm. IPOB just go back to the drawing board. It just hurt me to know that they are fighting the right battle in a wrong way - Almost dead on arrival.

Romance / True Confession: My Boss Sleeps With Me At Will, Uses Me For Sexual Exploits by Theydontcare: 10:13pm On Feb 01, 2018

My name is Ella, I am 31 years old. I work with a private establishment in one of the Northern states in Nigeria and ever since I got this dream job, I have been fulfilled but I have never had peace since ‘my boss’ started his sexual exploits with me.

[img][/img]It’s quite a small company, the pay is not so mouth-watering. I qualified for the job after the interview, so my getting the job was not based on sentiments. I am doing this job because of the drive and passion I have for it, yet, I am not happy.

My boss is a married man and he sleeps with me at will. He used to be nice to me only when he wants to ask me for sex. Sometimes, he doesn’t even ask me, he will just visit me. No matter how much I resist him, all he wants is to have me laid and the moment he does, he dresses up and leaves.

Talking about the whole experience makes me sick. As much as I am not too much of a sex person, I am compelled to do it with him sometimes. At work, this mad dog gives me attitude. He doesn’t know how to talk to people, he thinks he is on top of the world. Sometimes we don’t even talk because I’m having a heavy heart, but when it is time for sex, he comes around like a lost puppy looking for milk. Oh! How I hate him.

I remember how someone said he used to work somewhere, going to work tattered. This my so called boss used to look so dirty and unkempt to the office when his boss called him and gave him clothes. Today, maybe because he is somewhere and he thinks he has arrived, he can talk to people anyhow and have sex with whoever at anytime.

Going to work now frustrates me. Funny enough, I have some evidence of his sexual harassment and I really don’t know what to do with them. I didn’t intend to come up with this, thinking I would get over the whole thing when he eventually stops. But the thought of sleeping with me at will when he has his wife at home is killing. So, I’m the one sweet for precedent sex games? I ask myself sometimes.

The truth which is not far-fetched must be told. I battle with this sex bull-dog taking advantage of me and his unbearable attitude. It’s all about the sex to him. All he wants is what matters, how about what I want? He feigns innocence a lot, it is difficult for someone to know what he is capable of; but he is a green snake. Even if I speak out in an attempt to expose his wickedness, who will believe me? I’m worried sick!

I’m just going mad. What do I do? I am not a sex material and he will not go unpunished. How do I go about this whole thing? I wish I could kill him. Going to work and getting to see this Casanova drives me nuts.

Politics / Coalition For Nigeria:‎ What Obasanjo Said During Registration [full Statement] by Theydontcare: 10:03pm On Feb 01, 2018
Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday registered with his Coalition for Nigeria Movement, CNM.

DAILY POST reports that he registered in Ogun state at the secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oke-Ilewo Abeokuta.

Obasanjo said the coalition was on course to defeat the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019.

“This will be a movement of the people, CN will emerge victorious in 2019”, he predicted.

The former leader’s comment is a sign that the coalition will register to become a political party.

His full statement below:

STATEMENT BY H.E OLUSEGUN OBASANJO ON THE OCCASION OF HIS REGISTRATION FOR COALITION FOR NIGERIAN MOVEMENT

Ladies and Gentlemen and members of the Fourth Estate of the Realm, I welcome you to this simple but important ceremony of my registering as a member of the Coalition for Nigeria Movement and I thank you for being here.

Last week, I issued a statement which I did not do lightly or frivolously but out of deep concern for the situation of our country. I gave an expose on some aspects of our situations as I have observed them. I also took liberty to offer advice politely knowing fully well that my advice could be heeded or may be ignored.

However, heeded or not, I strongly believe that Nigeria cannot continue with business as usual. So, I proffered a way out or a way forward.

If the instruments we have used so far in our nation-building and governance since independence have not served us well, it is imperative that we should rethink and retool. It was Einstein who stated that it would amount to height of folly for anybody or any group to continue to do things in the same way and expect different results.

Coalition for Nigeria Movement is proposed as the new direction to mobilise our population for unity, cooperation, development, rule of law, employment, law and order, justice, integration, peace, security, stability, welfare and well-being. In these regards, special attention and space must be given to youths and women, who in most cases, have been victims and underlings.

I am particularly happy that yesterday, men and women (of all ages) of like minds joined hands to launch Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM). Among many other things that CNM will do is to raise standards generally but particularly standards of political leadership and governance.

Like all countries, Nigeria has many challenges. That, by itself, is not what we should worry about. What should matter is how, when and with what instruments we address or fail to address these challenges or create more problems.

Let me emphasise important areas, programme, priorities, or processes for improved attention. To start with, we seem to have taken nation-building for granted. Nation-building must be given continued attention to give every citizen a feeling of belonging and a stake in his or her country. For instance, the federal character principle, as espoused in our constitution, was to guide the leadership to search for competent holders of major offices to be distributed within the entire nation and avoid the concentration in a few ethnic hands or geographical places as we currently have in the leadership of our security apparatus. To avoid such non-integrative situation, we have the National Assembly and the Federal Character Commission, both institutions which must raise alarm or call for correction of actions by the executive that violates the spirit of our constitution. In like manner, the spate of violence, criminality, organised crime, insurgency and terrorism have not received sufficient proactive ameliorative responses through transformational leadership – a determined leadership that brings cohesion and wholesomeness to the polity. Nobody and no group should feel excluded in his or her own country. Inclusion and popular participation must be visibly pursued in terms of politics, the economy and our overall social life.

I am happy to be a member of the Coalition for Nigeria Movement. The movement is a pressure point towards good governance. This is the commencement for our popular and grassroots association. Of course, the membership will be free to collectively decide on whether CNM becomes a political party. If the Movement decides to transform itself and go into partisan politics, I will cease to be a member. And as a member for now, I accept all the conditions attached to membership of the Coalition.

We must promote the CNM and mobilise membership all over the country including membership from the Diaspora.

This is an opportunity for women and men, especially youths who have hitherto been feeling marginalised and helpless to go all out and bring friends and families into the CNM fold.

The CNM will remain a popular socio-economic Movement open to all Nigerians who believe in the greatness of Nigeria and are ready to contribute to it.

Some people have started worrying about the problem of personalities, in which some, in other efforts allocate positions to themselves. This Movement is not about personality or personalities; but about platform and system. Our system so far has not given us what we must have. For the first time we are building a platform from bottom-up. The Movement’s base is the grassroots and the people – all the people. When the platform is formed and the new system is put in place, the Movement may decide to sponsor/support candidates or transform itself into a political machine for that purpose.

A socio-economic popular Movement needs to be the new vehicle to give hope to the youths, dignity and encouragement to women and security, confidence, and a promising future to all Nigerians. It must work to bring about a new democratic and efficient Nigeria. The Movement must speak up boldly and bluntly about the truth but politely in accordance with African culture. The Movement will also act collectively with political awareness, social responsibility, sustained and sustainable economic development and progress. Timidity and cowardice must not be part of its make-up or culture and neither must there be indifference. He who keeps quiet, inactive and indifferent in the face of bad act is an accomplice to that act. Self-interest, self-centredness and selfishness must be put aside. National interest must be paramount. The Movement will teach what it believes and practice what it teaches.

It is necessary to make it clear that this movement does not regard itself as a third force. It sees itself as a popular movement that can accommodate all Nigerians irrespective of their political interest or affiliations and will propel Nigeria forward. Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians to be made right and the Coalition with others of the same view and like minds will leave no stone unturned to actualise God-given potentials of our country. The Movement will spearhead process, programme, policies and priorities to make Nigeria a great country playing its expected roles within West Africa, Africa and the world.

Nigerian youth will be emboldened, empowered, have employment, and play meaningful and responsible roles in the leadership and governance of the country in all ramifications. Nigerian women will have dignity, responsibility and equal consideration with men in the affairs of Nigeria.

The Movement is a means to an end. The end is Nigeria, unshackled, united, dynamic, strong, secure, cohesive, stable, and prosperous at home and respected outside, and as result, able to play decisive roles assertively within the comity of nations. A Nigeria of hope, aspiration and assurances which belongs to all with no sacred cow nor sacrificial lamb is what we want. My Nigeria, your Nigeria and our Nigeria with enchanting present and secure and glorious future.

Join the Movement to build a new Nigeria that will be in the hands of God

Religion / The Covenant Of Prophet Muhammad With The Christians Of Sinai by Theydontcare: 1:38pm On Jan 26, 2018
According to the Christian monks of Saint Catherine’s Monastery in Mount Sinai Egypt, prophet Muhammad pbuh granted their community protections and other privileges in a letter issued around 625 CE or 630 CE.

Early Muslim scholars who attested to the authenticity of this covenant include Muhammad ibn Sa’d al-Baghdadi (784-845) and Ismail ibn Kathir (1301–1373). Historical records show that the covenant was honored by the Caliphs Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, as well as the Umayyads, and the Abassids. The covenant is also referenced in political decrees by the Fatimids (901-1171), Ayyubids (1174-1249), Mamluks (1250-1517) and the Ottomans.

Here is the English translation of the original text in Arabic:

This is a letter which was issued by Mohammed, Ibn Abdullah, the Messenger, the Prophet, the Faithful, who is sent to all the people as a trust on the part of God to all His creatures, that they may have no plea against God hereafter. Verily God is Omnipotent, the Wise. This letter is directed to the embracers of Islam, as a covenant given to the followers of Jesus the Nazarene in the East and West, the far and near, the Arabs and foreigners, the known and the unknown.

This letter contains the oath given unto them, and he who disobeys that which is therein will be considered a disbeliever and a transgressor to that whereunto he is commanded. He will be regarded as one who has corrupted the oath of God, disbelieved His Testament, rejected His Authority, despised His Religion, and made himself deserving of His Curse, whether he is a Sultan or any other believer of Islam. Whenever Christian monks, devotees and pilgrims gather together, whether in a mountain or valley, or den, or frequented place, or plain, or church, or in houses of worship, verily we are with them and shall protect them, and their properties and their morals, by Myself, by My Friends and by My Assistants, for they are of My Subjects and under My Protection.

I shall exempt them from that which may disturb them; of the burdens which are paid by others as an oath of allegiance. They must not give anything of their income but that which pleases them, they must not be offended, or disturbed, or coerced or compelled. Their judges should not be changed or prevented from accomplishing their offices, nor the monks disturbed in exercising their religious order, or the people of seclusion be stopped from dwelling in their cells.

No one is allowed to plunder these Christians, or destroy or spoil any of their churches, or houses of worship, or take any of the things contained within these houses and bring it to the houses of Islam. And he who takes away anything therefrom, will be one who has corrupted the oath of God, and, in truth, disobeyed His Messenger.

Jizya should not be put upon their judges, monks, and those whose occupation is the worship of God; nor is any other thing to be taken from them, whether it be a fine, a tax or any unjust right. Verily I shall keep their compact, wherever they may be, in the sea or on the land, in the East or West, in the North or South, for they are under My Protection and the testament of My Safety, against all things which they abhor.

No taxes or tithes should be received from those who devote themselves to the worship of God in the mountains, or from those who cultivate the Holy Lands. No one has the right to interfere with their affairs, or bring any action against them. Verily this is for aught else and not for them; rather, in the seasons of crops, they should be given a Kadah for each Ardab of wheat (about five bushels and a half) as provision for them, and no one has the right to say to them ‘this is too much’, or ask them to pay any tax.

As to those who possess properties, the wealthy and merchants, the poll-tax to be taken from them must not exceed twelve drachmas a head per year (i.e. about 200 modern day US dollars).

They shall not be imposed upon by anyone to undertake a journey, or to be forced to go to wars or to carry arms; for the Muslims have to fight for them. Do no dispute or argue with them, but deal according to the verse recorded in the Quran: “Do not dispute or argue with the People of the Book but in that which is best” 29:46. Thus they will live favored and protected from everything which may offend them by the Callers to religion (Islam), wherever they may be and in any place they may dwell.

Should any Christian woman be married to a Muslim, such marriage must not take place except after her consent, and she must not be prevented from going to her church for prayer. Their churches must be honored and they must not be withheld from building churches or repairing convents. They must not be forced to carry arms or stones; but the Muslims must protect them and defend them against others. It is positively incumbent upon every one of the follower of Islam not to contradict or disobey this oath until the Day of Resurrection and the end of the world.
Culture / Far-right German Politician Converts To Islam by Theydontcare: 12:22pm On Jan 26, 2018
A politician for Germany’s far-right Alternative für Deutschland party, which campaigns on an anti-Muslim ticket, has converted to Islam and left the party, a spokesman has confirmed.

Arthur Wagner, a leading member of the party in the eastern German state of Brandenburg, said he would not comment on his reason for leaving the party, but confirmed to a Berlin daily that he had converted to Islam and that he had renounced his party membership on 11 January.

“It is a private matter,” he told Der Tagesspiegel, adding that it had been his decision to leave.

A party spokesman said it had not been concerned by Wagner’s conversion, and also confirmed it had not pushed him to leave. It claimed it had not known of his move when he announced his departure.

“The party has no problem with it,” said Daniel Friese, a spokesman for the Brandenburg branch of the AfD. Being a Muslim was no barrier to being a member of the party, he said, despite the fact that among the party’s campaign slogans before September’s general election were “Islam has no place in Germany” and “Against the Islamisation of Germany”.

The party has been accused of stoking resentment towards the hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees living in Germany. “The AfD contains interest groups for Muslims, Christians and homosexuals,” Friese said.

Wagner, who formerly belonged to the Christian Democrats and joined the AfD in 2015, is an active member of the German-Russian community and the vice-chair of the regional Russian-German committee. He has also acted as a translator for refugees from Chechnya.

He is believed to be the first AfD member to have converted to Islam after joining the party, although the party spokesman said there were other Muslims within its ranks.

The AfD was voted into the Bundestag for the first time last September as the third largest party. If talks towards forming a grand coalition government between Angela Merkel’s conservative alliance and the Social Democrats are successful, the AfD would become the main opposition party in the Bundestag, with the right to speak second in debates, after a member of the government.

Wagner’s case, although considered highly unusual, was being compared by German media to that of Arnoud van Doorn, a member of the Freedom party of the Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders, who was asked to leave the party in 2013 when it emerged he had converted to Islam and travelled to Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj.

You guys are players. The real kings of Africa all met the europeans around the 15th century or before, because the europeans were in desperate need of strong trading partners. The insignificance of the ooni of ife is such that either his throne is very new either he never was relevent and thus nobody went after him.

I would not dispute you claim will address it based on logic. Benin was a great empire no doubt. That does not mean it come before other great empires. The fact that Ife might not have commanded any influence does not mean it did not come before Benin.

sholly2017:
THE SECOND ADVENT OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: HOW, WHERE AND WHEN? Text: Luke17:20—37.
THE ANTICHRIST

The antichrist means one who works against Christ and His teachings. It was the antichrist who decieved the people against Our Lord Jesus Christ in His first Advent. So many people think that the antichrist will emerge from no where. This is erroneous, cos the antichrists had always risen from among God's children. The antichrists had always risen from the Church or synagogue (1John 2:18—19). In fact, the antichrist had been and will always be the church. The antichrists are liars who deny both The Father and The Son (1John 2:22).

The denial of The Father and Son by the antichrists can only happen when THE CHRIST assumes a Human Capsule or Nature. This way, The Spirit will be clothed in The Flesh, and Satan will raise so many antichrists to fight Him.

The antichrist is a negative spirit that will possess Clergies and make them believe that Our Lord Jesus Christ has not come in flesh and blood (1John 4:3). This is why The Bible says we should test all spirits so we will know which is of God and which is of the antichrist (1John 4:1—2).

But the antichrist tell their followers not to test all Spirits, cos they know that if they do, their followers will know the Truth and follow the Truth. They tell their followers not to listen to OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU or any of HIS followers.

WHO WERE THE ANTICHRISTS DURING THE FIRST ADVENT OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST

The Spirit of antichrist has always been satan the dragon, while the chief antichrists vessels where Annas and Caiaphas who were the chief priests (Luke 3:2). Other antichrists included the other priests like Alexander, one John, all other priests and many more who where workers in the Synagogue or house of God (Acts 4:6).

I want you to note that, even the prostitutes and robbers are far better in The Sight of God than the antichrists (Matt 21:31—32, luke 23:39—43). The antichrists always rises from among The body of Christ. The antichrist is the church or synagogue.
WHO ARE THE ANTICHRISTS OF THIS GENERATION
Certainly, the antichrists are so many in this last generation. They are the false prophets (2Peter 2:1—3). They have large churches and a huge followership. Just like Caiaphas, Annas, Alexander, etc fought against Christ in His first advent, so are these antichrists of this generation fighting The Returned Christ, HIS HOLINESS OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU.

Just as the antichrists of old believed in the prophets of old (John 8:53—59, John 9:20—29), but never believed in Our Lord Jesus Christ, so do the antichrists of today believe in The old Name "JESUS", but have refused to believe in His New Name: OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU (John 14:17—18). Remember, He revealed to John that He will come back with A NEW NAME (Rev 2:17, 3:12). He also told John that His Name will mean THE WORD OF GOD. We had showed in our Episode 14 that, OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU means THE WORD OF GOD (Rev 19:13). Remember, in His Last Advent, He came as Emmanuel, meaning GOD IS WITH US, which puzzle the whole world failed to get right (Isaiah 7:14). The world always speak good of the antichrists and false prophets, but speak evil of The Prophets of God and even The Son of God and invariably, God Himself (Luke 6:26).

*The false prophet or antichrist will have a form of godliness, but will deny and reject The Power of God (2 Tim 3:5—cool.
*The antichrists or false prophets will be offering materialism to people. They will make people to believe that, if you are a servant of God, you must be rich in worldly things. This was why Christ admonished us against it earlier in Luke 18:24—25 and Mark 10:23—25. Remember, the devil offered Christ the material things of this world, but Christ rejected them. Sadly enough, satan has raised so many antichrists/false prophets who offer these things to people as a bate and the people of this world are busy swimming in their deceit (Matt 4:8—10). No wonder they call their churches names like "home of success, mountain of fire, home of back to sender, home of prosperity, house of long life, home of signs and wonders, etc.
*The antichrists or false prophets will arrogate to themselves tittles meant for God. You see them today bearing names or titles like: Papa, General Overseer, etc (Matt 23:5—10).
*They give you stickers, bracelets, necklaces, etc for protection, but they themselves have heavily chested men and police security for themselves. Have you ever asked yourselves this question? Did Our Lord Jesus Christ wear all these things? Did His disciples wear them? The Power of God does not need rings, bracelets, bangles, perfumes, necklaces and all the likes as a medium of performance. Please, be not deceived anymore.
*The antichrists are apostles of the dragon. This is why you see them calling Holy Ghost fire every minute. You see them praying with very high degree of aggression, and noise (Rev 13:4—14), even commanding The Holy Spirit to move. All these are attributes of the dragon. The Churches we see today and people flock into them, are all churches of the antichrist. Have you ever seen a LAMB produce fire? Not at all.
*The antichrists\false prophets lie against The Returned Christ and also fight against Him. But has anyone ever fought God and worn? Can anyone fight God and win? Of course never.
*The antichrists\false prophets beat drums in their churches. But Christ didnt beat drums. He and His disciples only sang hymns and spiritual choruses (Matt 26:30, Ephes 5:19, Colo 3:16).
*The antichrists\false prophets wear shoes into their churches. But Our Lord Jesus Christ never did. He and His disciples didnt wear shoes when going on ministry (Luke 10:3—4).
*The antichrists/false prophets talk to God as if He is there mate or subordinate. They can't even shout at their biological Parents like the way they talk and shout at God when praying. Another word for prayer is "request". But the true worshippers of God talk to Him with fear and trembling and with absolute humility and reverence, just like the publican did.

Beloved, a stroke of the cane is sufficient unto the wise. This gospel is for those who have ears to hear.
See you in the next Episode where we shall treat THE BEAST AND HIS MARK.

Peace be unto you all.......
Thank You Father.

Ijesa Indigenes In Canada Shun Ethnic Bigotry, Elect Igbo Man President

•‘IPAC members have taught Nigerians great lessons in unity, tolerance’

By Tope Adeboboye

WITHIN the Nigerian community in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, there is one name that strikes an instant chord in every ear. It is a name that has become a constant refrain on many lips.

The name is Okey Paulicap Okeke, a Nigerian-born writer, theatre artist, clinical social worker and entrepreneur who has been domiciled in the North American country for close to two decades.

But his stay in Canada isn’t what makes the name and its owner the major theme in many conversations across that country. It’s not even about his book, Biribamba The Lonely Elephant, a children’s storybook published in the United States and over which he is in court with Macmillan Nigeria, a firm that allegedly published the book here without the writer’s authorisation.

Okeke, an Igbo man whose parents hail from Enugu State, is the president of Ijesa Progressive Association of Canada (IPAC), the umbrella association for sons and daughters of Ijesaland in Osun State living and working in that country.

An Igbo man as leader of an association comprising only Yoruba men and women? That is not only impracticable in Nigeria, it is absolutely inconceivable. Indeed, anyone harbouring such an implausible, far-fetched notion would be seen as suffering from the after-effects of excessive alcoholism, or having been untimely roused from a nightmare-riddled slumber!

But what many would have considered impossible in these shores became a reality in Canada. The Ijesa men and women in that North American country taught millions of their countrymen and women at home some great lessons when, in January 2017, Okeke was sworn in as president of Ijesa Progressive Association of Canada. And since then, he has been steering the ship of that association, alongside his executives.

On Saturday, September 16 last year, IPAC, under Okeke, held its annual “Ijesa Night” celebrations at the Manhyia Palace Convention Centre on Eddystone Avenue, Toronto. The event, which was chaired by Chief Isaac Ige, Odofin of Atorinland, was attended by many Nigerians, a number of who were there simply to confirm the rumour that the leader of Ijesa people in Canada wasn’t a Yoruba man.

At the event, the chairman expressed gratitude to Okeke for his leadership and for taking the group to lofty heights since his inauguration as president.

“This occasion would not have been possible without the efforts of Mr. Paulicap Okeke and his team, and for that I express my very sincere appreciation for the efforts you all have put in since you took over the mantle of leadership of IPAC this past January. You have done marvelously well,” the chairman noted.

He asserted that it was Okeke that made the night a hugely successful one: “In Jesus name, the glory that God has given you will not be destroyed. For remembering your roots, your foundation will never crumble,” he prayed.

But what would warrant an Igbo man to enrol in an association comprising only Ijesa men and women, and eventually become president of the group?

Okeke was in Nigeria recently for the Christmas and New Year holidays. And during the trip, he undertook a tour of Abeokuta alongside two of his friends and classmates at the University of Ibadan, this reporter and Ademola Ojolowo. And, over drinks and pepper-soup, shortly after a pulsating tour of the popular Olumo Rock in the Ogun State capital, Okeke explained how he joined IPAC and later got elected as the group’s president.

Born and raised in Ilesa, Osun State, Paulicap’s parents, Chief Okeke Chumba and Mrs. Janet Okeke-Chumba, are both from Ndeaboh, a community in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State. Okeke and his siblings attended elementary and secondary schools in Ilesa.

But right from his childhood, Okeke discovered that his dad, a very liberal and totally detribalised Nigerian businessman, ensured that his children had a robust, sophisticated and liberal worldview.

“My father was a Christian and an Igbo man, yet he enrolled me in a Muslim school. He believed that the school was good in academics and in sports, and it was also close to our house along the General Hospital Road in Ilesa

“My dad was living in Bukuru, near Jos, before the civil war. He had his businesses there. During the war, he left for the East and joined the Biafran Army. After the war, he went back to Bukuru and discovered that all he had there before he left was gone. So, my parents relocated to Ilesa and started again from the scratch. But God favoured them and they prospered.”

Corpse exhumed 39 years after burial still intact.

From Oluseye Ojo, Ibadan

human body, according to scientists, begins to degrade whenever life-sustaining processes that include blood circulation and metabolism stop functioning. Life in such body will end and feast on the dead body will begin for worms and bacteria that live in soil.
The lifeless body usually undergoes some unpleasant changes, such that skin and eyeball will decay. The hair and bones will also turn to dust in line with the law of nature.
But it is always a mystery when a corpse refuses to decay after many years in the grave. This occurred at Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State, recently. A lifeless body of Pa Joseph Olukotun, buried in 1978 was exhumed 39 years after, and it was still found fresh with the shroud and the casket.
Immediately the news broke, thousands of people in Apata, Omi-Adio, Odo-Ona, Felele, Oluyole and Ilugun rushed to catch a glimpse of the body that refused to decompose 39 years after he was buried.

In 1935, G. I. Jones, an anthropoligist and colonial administrator took pictures of the Nsude pyramids, ancient Igbo pyramids, in Udi, Enugu state Nigeria with a Roloflex camera which he acquired and developed a system for immediate developing which produced negatives of such high quality that they continue to produce excellent prints six decades later. It was at this time that he built up the extraordinary photographic record of Southeastern Nigerian culture.

The pyramids, numbering 10 in number are circular and stepped and were made of clay.

Here are pictures of the pyramids:

The first base section was 60 ft. in circumference and 3 ft. in height. The next stack was 45 ft. in circumference. Circular stacks continued, till it reached the top. The structures were temples for the god Ala/Uto, who was believed to reside at the top. A stick was placed at the top to represent the god’s residence. The structures were laid in groups of five parallel to each other. Because it was built of clay/mud like the Deffufa of Nubia, time has taken its toll requiring periodic reconstruction.

Strikingly, these pyramids bear striking resemblance to the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, in Egypt constructed in 2648 BC and without a doubt, derive from the same cultural/religious/philosophical tradition that inspired this ancient Egyptian monument. Moreso, more striking is the similar replication of Nubian-like pyramids thousands of miles away from the Nubian area in the heart of Igboland, or vice versa, whichever comes first.

The Step Pyramids of Saqqara, Egypt.

Evidence like this indicates a strong level of correlation between the ancient egyptians and the ancient Igbo. The building of the pyramids may have been done at the same time the first or second wave of Egyptian pyramids were built by the Nubians.

The Nubian dynasty of Egypt (the 25th Dynasty of Egypt) saw the first widespread construction of pyramids (many in modern Sudan) since the Middle Kingdom.

Nonsense... Honestly I would not doubt the link to the "Isreal" of those days and the migration that took place. But this perpetual manner of the Ibos trying to convince people about their origin, lack articulation and is devoid of depth. People are rewriting their history, this is your chance to rewrite yours but just learn to do it well. Because not doing it well is a recipe for disaster and an easy way to becoming a laughing stock among the committee of nations. Even the Yorubas and the Benin are trying hard to get it right.

If I may even ask... what do you really want us to believe? Are your guys Isrealites or Jews. I am interested in further definition of their Jewish or Link to being "Isrealites".

Spare me this crap until you are able to make sense. Stop using the Bible as your reference. The bible has no reference of your people.

Even the Yorubas who might have ties never claim to be Jews or Israelite (or whatever you call it), because they believe in who they are and will to go it alone without unnecessary attachments. Start from where you are and grow from there. Let the Jew seek you and stop seeking them.

Nonsense.
Culture / The Yoruba And Other Canaanite/hebrew Israelites Of Nigeria by Theydontcare: 1:01pm On Jan 03, 2018
Its so destructive when people leave their own history to tell other people’s without proof. Just like white man came to Africa parted the lands, reduced our history to few centuries claiming Greek was the start of creation of 4,000 years. They called us monkeys but now with their own DNA research found out that all people except Africans are Neandathals. what a beautiful name to give caravan, ape and gorilla people. DNA proof white people have 4-5% of animals mixed with their DNA, means they were not created in the image of Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh (lye Ashe Iye) The Creator but Annunakis who created them in the labouratory .

Some Yoruban knew there history and those Yoruban saying ill things about themselves need to thoroughly do their research. Firstly, We are not related to Nimrod though he is Oduduwa but Kushite and we are Shem descendants. Oduduwa is only a royal title passed down from Noah to his descendants and is kingship, war hero title. Noah is Nuah in Egyptian children of ham, it is Oduduwa in Yoruba and a Yemen Hebrew lsraelite king in Hymya in Yemen by the name Dhu Nuwa in 500AD fled to lle ife to create more states. He escaped from the enemies who slaughtered the royal family. He did not commit suicide or drown in the sea as narrated in the Arabia history. OduNoah, OduNuah, Oduduwa, Dhu Nuwa, Noah or Nuah is only title, even the Benin people have their own version. Other Oduduwas are Abraham, King David and so on.

Origin of Yoruba
According to chronological Historb of Yoruba Dynasty in the Alafin palace, We migrated from lsrael to captivity in Assyria and Babylon 700-600BC . After the collapse of the Assyria and Babylonia empire we fled to West Africa land of Shem because Nebukanezer brought foreigners to occupied lsrael. Yoruba left lsrael around the time king Jeroboam (Olugbogi) and king Joash (Oluasho) were kings in Israel. Not all lsraelites returned with prophet Ezra because of civil in Israel. Final batch joined their people in 70AD when Israel was finally destroyed. The 1747 map of West Africa showed the Kingdom of Judah which later became slave coast in Badagry, Lagos Nigeria. Judah was part of old Ile ife Owodaiye means Whdah or Odaiye means Judah or Ouidah (Portuges) or Fidah in French. During the Antlantic Slave trade Judah was the target by the Romans and that is why they came to West Africa to finish Creator’s own people. Oyo empire fought with the Fon king of Dahomey who was capturing the Odaiye/judaites to the Europeans and prisonals of war from the enemies side too were enslaved by Yoruban. DNA proof all negroes (people with afro kinky hair) migrated to Africa while the Ethiopians, Somalians and Sudaness people with straight and coily hair texture are Africans but migrated to Arabia. Ancient Ethiopia was Africa, West Asia including India and Arabia and Israel, and Greek and Spain. They were called Ethiopians, jet black and brown people afro kinki people while those in india have straight or coily hair texture. Light skin were minority and were said to be of deferent race by the Arabs. Modern day Ethiopia was later called West Ethiopia and now the only Ethiopia nation.

DNA Proof
DNA is the Creator’s wonders even the scientist believe there is a Creator of the beautiful heavens and earth. DNA links Luyah of Kenya who are Descendants of biblical Joseph (Yuya) and Gabon descendants of Orugu or Orungun (biblical Reuben). Yoruba land occupied from Nigeria to Benin Republic, Togo, Ivory Coast and Ghana. Yoruba use to call themselves Aku meaning Akuibe or Akusibe as the biblical Jacob. When Yoruba have twins that is why they always make the last of the twins the elder, other Aku are in Senegambia and the Creols in Sierra leone. Yoruba was never the name the people but the language and was later changed by Samuel Ajayi Crowther from Aku to Yoruba to please the Europeans so we can forget our origin. Yoruba thus means Yerubbal meaning “Ati she eruba bale” that is the people cause baal terrible fear when they destroyed his evil alter. Yoruban also linked with King Yeroboam “great people), to remind them of the time they left Israel. West Africa language including the Zulus in South Africa is Shemetic pure Hebrew, ancient Aramic and Egyptian. Yoruba is pure Hebrew and Egyptian, its becomes Hebrew when English version of Hebrew word is removed, e.g the word shibboleth in not pure Hebrew its English version, correct word is Shibbole and is the same in Yoruba and in meaning. Rishon in Hebrew is Greek version, it is Risha but when fully written is orisha means ancestors. Aaron is not Hebrew word but Greek, Aare is Yoruba and Hebrew word for a leader. Dan in Hebrew have same meaning in Yoruba meaning Danilare or Damilare (judge or judge me). Hebrew deal with 3 letter root words, E .r. i. could mean Jerimaiah.

The foreigners could not accurately translate our book that is why there were errors in the bible. Eri is not the true name but English version, Eri means my awake one or to arouse one self or to suddenly stir up like excel. It would be Ori or Ari, just like Arieli is Greek version not Hebrew word. There is Aro in Yoruba word as in Arodi in the bible but to conveinced anyone as the same word will have to have same meaning. The modern day Ashenaz jews only occupied lsraeli in 1948 by balfor declearation between Britain and America. They converted to Judaism in 700AD by their king Bulan . Ancient lsraelites were black and still are today never light skin. Yoruba language is close to Egyptian becauses most of the pharaoh kings were Hebrew, king David or Daud is Pharaoh Pseuenes of Egypt (Ipesinuola), Abraham (Amenemhat I of Egypt) means Oba Ashiwaju king in front not Amen in front because Mene is the title of Oba in Egypt not Pharaoh, pharaoh means big house like ile ife. Moses or Moshe is Tutmose lll in Egypt (Moshetutu), that is sacrifice to God Amen or Thot. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh (Iye Ashe Iye). the Ashe is also same meaning in Egyptian word to say it is borrowed word in Hebrew. Egyptian say Amen to the god Amen Ra, Yoruba say Ashe, Amin is Roman catholic corruption to make them say amin when Yoruba bible was translated from latin.

Yoruba and Ifa religion
Ifa religion which l myself have condemned in the past because of ignorant of knowledge of our history is infact biblical. Ifa is the oldest religion in the world and is proven to be 8,000 years old. It was passed down from Noah or Odunoah or odunuwa or Dhu Nuwa to Shem and Ham and Kush to their descendants. Ifa is the Ephod in the bible and the verses are the true Torah not the one called five books of moses because it is not accurate and Moses never wrote it but 500 years after his death. Ephod is not only the garment for priests but also the tray and the object to consult the Creator. The true Levi are Oluwo or Luwo and the Rabbis are Araba. Europeans called it vodu but is Odu and Odu is the father of Noah not Lamech (Odu ni baba Iwa). Before 1848, Yoruba places Yah as the suffix of their names like Tobiyah now Oluwatobi using (Odonuwa or Oluiwa). When Yoruba children started to attend Christian and muslim schools, they dropped Yoruba names as evil and Ifa as juju. Europeans forced Yoruba to abbreviate lfa to Indeginious Faith of Africa before registerd as a religion. Ifa is Ephad and Ifadida is Ephadida not Ephod (Greek version).

Yoruba Hebrew Israelites
Yoruba Hebrew Israelites heritage is not for every Yoruba to claim even the anthropologists and researchers are waiting for us to come forward. it is for Yoruban that are ready to accept their heritage and the Creator himself will return his people as prophesised. Some Yoruban say they are muslim, it cannot be true unless they are convert because the original muslim are the children of ham including Egyptians who spread lslam to Arabia slaughtering the true Arabs and drove them out. They themselves were driven out of Arabia by the light skin Persians. Original Christians were the descendants of Kush and they wrote the book of Enoch, Ethiopia language is original greek and latin as they once ruled Europe and built castles. Negroes are the true Arabs and pure black and still black.
Yoruba are the people of Yah, Eriwo or Ariwo or Alariwo Yah lo wodi lsrael, That is AlleluYah made the wall of Jericho collapsed, Eriwo Yah is Shout of Yah. Selah Shalom (Ashela Ashalafia)
Culture / Africans Are Hebrew Israelites by Theydontcare: 10:40am On Jan 03, 2018
In this post I would like to establish the fact that the ‘Bantu’ branch of Africans, generally concentrated in Sub-Saharan part of the continent, and their related family branches are actually descendants of the Hebrew Israelites. Identifying the Bantu as the descendants of the Israelites extremely important. Having the understanding that the Bantu are Israelites is integral in order to gain a broader and more accurate comprehension of who the Israelites are, where their descendants are located, and what contributions they have made to the world.

Many of us are already very familiar with the Zondervan’s Bible Dictionary’s Ham (son of Noah), definition. Those who are not, please become soon familiar with it. However, again, for those of use who are already familiar with the Zondervan’s Bible Dictionary definition of Ham, we know that by it [the definition of Ham] we know that the Negroes are not Ham’s (true African) descendants.

In fact, the historical mythology and traditions of the Yoruba people themselves speak of their origins outside of Africa in the Near East (Shemitic) region. Dierk Lange, Prof. Dr. Emeritus, of Bayreuth University in Germany, has performed extensive research concerning many West African groups and their origins in the Near East. In the abstract to one of his many essays, “Dierk Lange: Origin of the Yoruba and “The Lost Tribes of Israel”,” Dierk confirms the traditions of a Levantine (Israelite) origin of the Yoruba Nigerians.

Dierk Lange

“On the basis of comparative studies between the dynastic tradition of the Oyo-Yoruba and ancient Near Eastern history, the present article argues that Yoruba traditions of provenance, claiming immigration from the Near East, are basically correct. According to Ọyo-Yoruba tradition, the ancestral Yoruba saw the Assyrian conquests of the Israelite kingdom from the ninth and the eighth centuries B.C. from the perspective of the Israelites. After the fall of Samaria in 722 B.C.., they were deported to eastern Syria and adopted the ruling Assyrian kings as their own.” – Origin of the Yoruba and “The Lost Tribes of Israel”, By Dierk Lange

Politics / Re: Other Nigerians Should Emulate South-West Political Maturity - President Buhari by Theydontcare: 12:32pm On Jan 01, 2018
Hate, dislike and disrespect goes against our deepest Yoruba values of the unity of humanity. Our wisest have always advocated and taught us that Yorubas seek to engender and strive to create a nation of tolerance, compassion, spiritual understanding of life, and love.

However, I found most my Yoruba brothers on this forum to be too subjective, and paternalistic. To dismiss ethinicity point blank is as ignorant and extreme as to make a tribe an issue with which to divide us. To dismiss those who point to the manifest realities of ethinicity, is to act with scientific disrespect and bias.

The challenge for modern man who aspires to a deeper understanding of life is to realize that we are all brothers and sisters, even though we are born into different ethnical entities or tribes. This imposes on us the need to celebrate our differences and diversity, instead of ignoring them. And to see the unity of soul behind the veil of tribalism.

Personally, I do not believe that ethinicity or tribe is such a huge factor, and those who define themselves by tribe and physical attributes, unusually are enmeshed in subconscious self-inferiority and complex definition of who they are and often end in unhappiness and misery. Because it is really not true that we humans are divided by race or ethinicity. It often a weaponized strategy of manifesting our long lost self-recognition. In fact, if reincarnation is true and if reliable evidence can be found in this age then it may very well be that we experience life on earth in different ethnic entities or tribes through different lifetimes.

We are divided and caged by culture, beliefs and the inability to open our minds to breaking free from group thinking. Moreso, we are divided by generational "hand-me-down" belief systems and trauma-based emotional reactivity.

And I think that matters of intelligence and consciousness have ultimately nothing to do with genetics. The evidence for this is empirically available to any objective person. I do think though, that some people with certain ethnic backgrounds face a greater challenge in breaking free from their "tribal identity", due to entrenched belief systems and mass traumas that prevent progress. So, in a way, it is paradoxically true that tribalism can impede one's progress in life, but it has to do with the unconscious beliefs and emotional dynamics of the tribe that are passed on to an individual in childhood. It is far more complex than blaming it on anyone or tribe.

For example, Swedes may have found more mental liberation from certain false beliefs (for example the nonsense that women and men not equal before God), than any tribe in Nigeria, at this point in history.

The journey of progress is one of elevation of consciousness, not tribe. If it was an issue of ethnic identity, there would be no hope for Nigeria, and it is in large degree due to this traumatizing sense of hopelessness about the Nigeria, that tribalism derive their violent, angry and destructive ways.

Yet, as Nigeria, we should honour our ancestors and seek to understand our cultural heritage, the good and the bad, from all epochs of our history, and just as we should seek to understand what our identity is. As opposed to what the capricious Obas or Politicians try to force feed us about who we really are. This can of course be found in the recent of controversy of superiority between the Yorubas and Benin. A controversy that only destroys our ultimate sense of progress. Two race that look the same way, speak from almost the same heritage. I think being a true Yoruba man includes having compassion and care for all members of the human race, no matter what tribe, colour of skin or ethnic heritage. hence, we do not need any validation from anyone to tell us how we see ourselves.

I think its time we look in words and elevate ourselves against the sacrilege of of imposing our sense of foisted history on our children. Rather we should rewrite history to favour all that live with and love us. While working on relegating to the background the inadequacies of our adversaries. Ignore any tribalism view and hate but react with superior intelligence of Love and respect for all. Those that dont give love can't earn it. In Nigeria, beyond our ethic definitions we are brother to all that live in her.

Happy New year.
