To my bosses and elders in the house, what is the difference between "Order block" and "supply/demand zones"...? They seem same to me. I intend adding the two to my tool box.

DXY is the USD index. It measures the strength of the USD against other major currencies such as the EURO, YEN, GBP, CHF & CAD. A strong dollar = an uptrend in DXY = an uptrend in USD/xyz pairs = a downtrend in xyz/USD pairs.
A strong dollar can also affect pairs that are directly correlated to the dollar.

The maximum reading is 100.
NB; Fundamentals also affect the DXY. Change in interest rates and monetary policy will affect the relative strength of the USD.

Nobody will mentor someone without a basic knowledge of what the activity entails. Nobody! Dangote, Elon musk and Bill Gates will never agree to mentor someone who lacks a basic understanding of what business entails. God himself will not mentor someone who lacks a basic knowledge of him. You need to make the first move. Get materials. Download videos. Buy courses. Make the damn first move. Twill show your desired mentor that you're teachable and determined. Nobody likes stress in this life.

Sir, 90 percent of your comments here have all been to solicit for funds. what value are you offering that necessitates such callous demands? If possible, will you give someone like you such amount for doing literally nothing other than "beg" brazenly? It's not funny. First time you made such a comment, I wanted to scold you outrightly but I held back hoping you'll apply caution next time. This is not the way to receive help. Offer value first. Help will come naturally.

If you're not dropping trade set ups or beneficial advices for newbies like us, please unfollow the thread. A lot of irregularities are going on here unchecked.

To my fellow newbies, the first thing you should everyday before you place orders should be to analyze DXY and update your TL and value areas and figure out when the dollar is about to pump or dump and subsequently find opportunities in that direction for whatever pair your trading. Almost every pair out there is somehow correlated to the dollar. It will save you a lot of losses.

Talking from good and bad experiences.

I didn't enter sell manually. I used a sell stop placed some pips below the neckline, in anticipation that price will break and retest the neckline before activating my sell stop, unfortunately one long candle broke and activated the sell stop and reversed straight up for my SL. If I were to enter manually, I wouldn't have waited for a retest. But I couldn't wait to enter manually, had other stuffs to do.

That's one disadvantage of stop and limit orders, they could be activated at conditions different from when one placed them. It's well.

Modified; on a second look at the chart, it actually retested, dropped a bit and reversed.
Zoom out the encircled area on 4h and 1H Tf.

This is still in play. 2084 is clearly in view. Quite pathetic I couldn't take opportunity of this drop. It's one thing to make good trade calls and another thing to take it.
