Bar the tight stop loss used, G/Cad is playing out as anticipated. There's still room for more descent towards 1.68696 support. I'll observe what happens at the immediate support @ 1.72254 before re-entering.

Will move Sl up to recent swing high @ 1.722715 when the market opens.

The fewer the setups you have, the better... I don't know how you do your analysis, if you have not being doing this before, I suggest,

Base your bias on the big picture, check monthly and weekly, if what you see is bull, then focus on daily and 4H to suit your technical analysis and look for a buy opportunity...... If eventually you see a bear, I will personally ignore it and stick to what d bigger picture is saying, buy confirmation or no trade.... This helps me to filter.

For entry, you can go to 15mins/30mins.

Perfect your skill and look towards ftmo or 5ers for funding, after u must have passed ftmo evaluation. Building a small account is like mission impossible.

I've been in a worrisome loosing streak this past 4-5 trading days. Tight stops due to small account size, getting trapped in a ranging market, bad set ups et al. To my bosses and elders here, please What's the way forward? I need advice. I'm kinda loosing confidence. Have not had such a massive draw down before.

Anyways, while you seem to get those streak of positive results and seem to start to get your thoughts together about this business; my sincere advice from experience is: Caution yourself to not be too familiar with your charts and strategies.

A time will surely come where you will be hit with streaks of lost trades and you will even look back on backtesting and find out the several times you would have lost trades with the exact same strategy which you have been winning with. Now I'm saying, before it gets to this stage, stay away from the charts now, and reflect on other things, come back after 4-5days and continue to do your thing with a fresh mind.

Overfamiliarity with charts will, at some point, make you feel no strategy actually works, then makes you return to point 1 and start to search pdf, YouTubes, forums for a better strategy. It has its way of dealing with one's trading psychology.

This I battled from experience and won.....

Above all, dm me the currently trading demo account details now, I will look into it by end of January, February, and March. If I consistently find the results appealing, I would fund your live account with chekele to trade with. If you continue to repeat the results on live, it can go a long way in your life.

I've been on a losing streak kinda since yesterday. But risk management is keeping me in the game. I guess it's cos of what you pointed out.... Looking at charts too much. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

I pray i don't get banned for this. This is to respond generally to those who have been chatting me up for "tutelage and mentorship"...LMAO. me wey still be newbie.

I'm still new in this business. I'm barely 5/6 months old doing this. So it's not in my place to teach anybody. I'm still like a newbie learning the ropes and trying to figure out what works best for me. Matter of fact, I've not even gone live yet. Still trying to find my bearing.

Anyways, whatever you need to thrive in this business is online. I can only enumerate the materials that has been helpful to me this far.


1-Babypips PDF.
2-Youtube channels like Rayner Teo, Nial Fuller, Forex visit, Justin Bennett.
3- A compendium of stock trading textbooks and it's likes by authors too numerous to mention. Heck yes, I read loads of trading textbooks. I study them like it's my final year project work.
4 - I pick up lots of information online as well. From forums such as Nairaland, Forex factory et al. Matter of fact, if you focus on and lap up every bit of information dropped by veterans on these forums, you're poised to succeed.
5-Humility. So many professional traders talk about Risk and money management but they forget about a very important aspect of human psychology which is humility. You need humility to succeed in forex. Humility to realize you don't know it all. Humility to realize you're a retail trader, hence your analysis can never be more accurate than the big money bags in guise of hedge funds and central banks.
6- I don't predict. I only draw up scenarios and stick with them. Many people lose in forex cos they're trying to predict. A trader with less than $10k equity is trying to predict what central banks with billions of dollars in equity will do. Imagine such arrogance! Why not just "Observe. Wait. Follow". One of my Bosses who used to be here will call it "Rinse and Repeat" strategy.
7-Lastly, I pay attention to charts a lot. There are loads of screenshots of charts by professional traders in my gallery. I observe how they draw their trendlines, support and resistance, channels etc. I try to understand the mindset and mechanics behind the analysis.


BONUS- Signals are overrated. Do the analysis yourself. That's the best way to learn.
