They have not requested for my passport at all. I have only gone for an appointment and they asked me to submit some documents since then i have not heard from them.

The support guys are not also helpful with the response they give

My resumption date was suppose to be december 15. Although my employers have extended to February. This was after extending to January.

I hope they get back to us soon.

I did mine for bluekard in october and still noting yet, they keep saying the same thing every-time I call. “We will get back to you once we have a new information so always check your mail.”

Did my interview for skilled immigration act visa (with pre approval) on the 17th of December but I am yet to hear back from them. I was led to believe they make a decision within 3 weeks. What could be the issue? This is the 4th week now.

For some reason i do not know why they seem not to be responding again. My appointment was like 6weeks ago and I have not heard any feedback. I applied for bluekard. So I do not think you are the only one going through this.

How long does it take to get a date from them? I also lost my original WAEC result recently thou i have the photocopy and I already got my affidavit and police report, will this be accepted by the embassy?

I know this is sad but unfortunately i have booked an appointment with my previous passport number . ��. I got an appointment date already. I only did not check well. I was too happy after i got an offer. I have tried to book another appointment (blue kard) no response. I still have the previous appointment. I am confused as my resumption date is close by.

I do not have the old passport, the old number is on the new passport. To make things worse the passport expired a long time(5 years). I do not even have it.

I applied via blue card, although I got a date almost immediately. I have a close friend that is also on the waiting list for work permit. Might even be your husband.

I asked this same question last month cos my husband got a job too and i got a response (pg 73; timbs001 responded on 28th Aug).

If i may asked did you apply under blue card/work permit/pre-approval?
My husband applied under work permit because he doesn't have a degree and the company informed us that they aren’t registered to get the pre-approval.
That’s been since 27th Aug that he applied and no appointment date yet.

I want to know if i can go with my spouse immediately or she applies for the family reunion visa and join later, I have read here that the family reunion visa takes a long time. It will be nice if anyone can advise on the fastest route to go about this.

Haba 50k bawo that is on the high side expecially because am a corp member same batch. People do it for free. Sountern states state is not a state that has high number of redeployement rate. Don't be scammed bro. I have friends who are co-corp members like you that have redeployed. One of my female friends just redeployed from delta to Abuja. Go and ask questions at the NYSC secretariat. It's that simple bro.

I dont know if its the cold or a disease, i went for Data capture last week monday for my E passport, the fingerprint scanner couldn't scan my fingerprints, so the immigration officer handling my case told me to wash my hands with diesel and apply olive oil for a week, i have been doing it since last week Tuesday still no improvement and tomorrow is monday, i really need to get this passport because the deadline for my school application is on 10th of this month. My sister use to have this same problem. I really don't know what she did whilst she was trying to get her passport. But I know it gave her issues whilst she wanted to take her IELTS exams and when sometimes when she was leaving the country. Let me ask her how she went trough this pain.
I remember when we were much younger, she complained on some soaps,we all thought she always wanted to evade her kitchen cleaning rounds.

The website loads with JavaScript. I have been on it for like 2days now. Wrote my own script but all failed. Albeit I can only get divs that do not contain this important data. I have work with php though. I even tried using goutte(composer reapository). It returns an empty value when query the DOM. If you have a better tool to crawl please let me know.

The price is high coupled with the fact that it is for educational purpose. I have tried to scrap the data from the site as this makes plenty of sense for the time been. Though against law but as I said for educational purpose. Unfortunately real time data cannot be scrapped.

I am opinionated of the great resourcefulness of the post, nevertheless I am quite nonplussed and vacillated about how long it took to secure admission with funding, considering your excellence gre scores. I do have the profound and recondite belief that superb scores in the gre and toefl tests coupled with good gpa score should suffice enough for admission and funding, now my precept wavers since it seems likely that arduous stress is reqiured for admission and funding even with excellent scores. I would be most gracious if you can pedantically extirpate why this is so, as you have always munificently do. Once, again congratulations on your admission to one of the most prestigious university. - I wish to apply for a Masters by Fall 2018. I've started preparing for GRE. Please where do I register and write here in Nigeria? I need contact details of genuine centers coz I've heard scam stories?
- do I write TOEFL or IELTS? Which is preferable?
- I want to do a Masters by Research in a Canadian university so that I can proceed to PhD afterwards. Most schools insist that one secures a research supervisor from the school before granting admission. Please anyone with experience should put me through to how to go about it. Thanks!

We are both in the same shoes. I registered via BY mafit for 50k two days ago. I don't think you have to find a research supervisor before admission. I suspect that allows in Canada where you need a supervisor if you are going for a research based program.

On the other hand you can send mails to the grad co-ordinators to confirm if a language test is a requisite for your prospective course.

You need plenty ingenuity to search for schools.You can also send faculties to ask them you like to work with them. They have funding to fund their research team mate.

Yes. So u are good to go provided you have entered the right thing into system. But I doubt if u can get ur evaluation set in 6- 7 weeks. Except you did not study in a Nigerian public university though

Also, I do not intend on putting all my eggs in one basket.

Baba for the men, thank you for the motivation.Most people did not understand me, I am not only applying to schools in the US. But I have 6 US schools in mind

U are closer to computer engineering than computer science, whilst someone in mathematics is closer to computer science than computer engineering.

Most times the requisite for computer science states that you should have taken courses in databases,operating and data structures. The least most engineering grad is likely to take is datastructures and computer programming. This I realized when I applied to a uni in Canada. I got the break down after rejection.
I don't know recommendation to give since I am still a learner.

Nice point on this but not all school gives fee waiver and who know if the school he is planning to apply to give waiver or not.

The truth his if he has Gpa, GRE/Toelf , SOP then he won't waste his resources or cash on 10 schools.

we need to be wise because when someone who doesn't meet admission requirement and keeps applying to over 10 universities, it is certain that the student is wasting his or or money.

It's better for him to check that the school required maybe he has it or not before applying.
