This ranting is not necessary, if it was not meant to be there, nature will not grant it to us, I don't shave what I do is I make sure I scrub it with sponge when bathing to prevent it from smelling. The once in a year I try to shave it, it's always itchy for that day and it makes me uncomfortable and no ginger to do it often, and besides I am not very hairy, it's just little even down below and I change my underwear on a daily to practice proper hygiene.
Most ladies like it, dear. Don't mind him. Love yourself, okay. I'll speak in my own situation I love men who are hairy.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Founders:Fredrick lugard Take On ,igbo,hausa,yoruba by ThickSharon123(f): 7:36pm On Nov 14, 2021
Investigative:
In the handover note from Fredrick Lugard to his successor, there is something he said about the three nations in the contraption known as Nigeria which was established by him and his mistress, Flora Shaw. Take notice of his emphasis about the IGBO.

Fredrick Lugard was the governor general of Nigeria between 1914 and 1919. Earlier he was the governor general of Hong Kong between 1907 and 1912.

Sir Frederick Lugard handed over as governor general in Nigeria to Walter H. Lang on the 25th of September 1918, and by 1919, he finished his administrative duties in Nigeria.

Follow up please about his note on Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. This will tell you exactly how they view us.

Hausa
The Hausa-Fulani has no ideals, no ambitions save such as sensual in character. He is a fatalist, spendthrift and a gambler.
He is gravely immoral and is seriously diseased that he is a menace to any community to which he seeks to attach himself

Yoruba

Lagos has for 20 years opposed every Governor and has fomented strife and bloodshed in the hinterland.

I have spent the best part of my life in Africa; my aim has been the betterment of the natives for whom I have been ready to give my life. But after some 29 years, and after nearly 12 years as Governor here, I am free to say that the people of Lagos and indeed the Westerners are the lowest, the most seditious and disloyal, the most purely prompted by self-seeking money motives of any people I have met

Igbo

These people of predominantly Eastern Nigeria are fiercely rebellious with no regard for authority. Though industrious and religious, in deference to the objectives of her majesty and the crown, they are highly dangerous to be trusted with power

They know all this thing and chose to give the power to the north so that it will be easier for them to indirectly rule others in proxy.

For those who believed they were nothing before the colonists came. Who told you? Igbo were already independently developed in their own world. They fought the British for over 30 years through the Ekumeku. They didn't want anyone to come and order them around. Igbo enwe eze. Ị bụ chi m? Are the philosophies guiding ndị Igbo. The British know this. The world know this. Igbo have their own republican and democratical system. The ụmụnna system unite the Igbo. If you try to impose ideologies and western leadership on Igbo, they must be rebellious to you.

Come to think of it, Lugard said: "though industrious". Don't you think this is the major reason some lazy folks hate on you? Industriousness is a follow come on every Igbo.

Being rebellious to the authority of the western world is not a new thing. The Igbo worldview is different. We worship no human. We lick no ass. We don't throw ourselves on anyone cos he or she has power. How can people from a different nation come to control us, tell us what to do in our own land whereas we were doing things, doing business with them; all of a sudden they decided to be forcing us to take those things we sell to them by force, then we begin to pay them tax over what we produce? Mbanụnụ.

A typical Igbo man will rather commit suicide than succumbing to any negative authority and subjugation.

When the Igbo like you, they massively like you. They don't hide it. If they hate you, they don't hide it. It's massive. They have the eyes on good market. Once they deduce bad market, they don't care...they back out no matter what you promise. They hate incompetency. Recent elections in Nigeria and their candidates can be used as a typical example of this.

I really wish some know who they are. Igbo anaghị eme nkụja

Agitations come with a cost. And the people of Eastern Nigeria are aware of this. We're not going to accept the status quo just for the sake of peace. That's the peace of a graveyard! There were gully erosions in our roads before IPOB. There were policemen every pole before IPOB. There were corruption and lack of infastructure before IPOB. Actually IPOB became a phenomenon as a result of her desire to correct these. So when most of you none Igbos start to point to the negative effects of IPOB agitations, it important to also note the Evil realities that led to the emergence of IPOB..

Sharon, I do not tolerate any nonsense. I have no need for two monikers. Only cowards or people who cannot be straight do so.

No tribe depends on another for food.

I for one support Igbo to be given a chance to do a referendum. Mind you, it was Zik who fought to remove referendum clause from Nigeria statute. Because back then, Igbo dominated civil service and were all over 9ja. Imagine that Zik's parents were already living in Zungeru, Niger State in 1904 when he was born.
If not for Zik, Nigeria would probably have broken up by now. 9ja is big for nothing, so I wonder what anybody has to drag.

Bendel left Western Region in 1963 when we felt that our voices were being tribalistically silenced. The only region democratically created in 9ja. So today I support referendum for people to decide where they want to go. Benin and Igbo will DEFINITELY not be in same country if that happens. We don't need each other.
Don't be angry boo, I'm sorry. That guy sounded so angry like he woke up from the wrong side of bed. Do you stay in Benin?

Family › Re: Do Wives Owe Their Husband Sex ? by ThickSharon123(f): 5:39pm On Nov 14, 2021
tobechi20:
Bring kids into the picture, and often, one’s sex drive takes a nose dive. Especially for mothers.

Low libido is a very common issue for new mothers as they are healing from childbirth, grappling with fluctuating hormones and extreme sleep deprivation.

While we know adjusting to a new baby can profoundly impact a couple’s life (including sexual intimacy), we, as a society, act like it shouldn’t. We act like there’s something wrong with a new mother needing a timeout from sex.

New mothers who admit to having less sex drive are often met with people urging, “Just do it anyway,” and “You’ll get in the mood.”

But what if you don’t get in the mood, even when you take this advice? What then?

Why aren’t the feelings of the woman valid? Shouldn’t she be listening to her body? Her mind?

I’m not sure where we got this idea that a husband owns his wife’s vagina. Or that he is entitled to intercourse, MouthAction, handling, or groping. I’m pretty sure I didn’t see that covenant in the paperwork. But I have an inkling that this entitlement is very much based in misogyny and male privilege.

Men are led to believe, often since they are young boys, that women should have sex with them when they want it. Even when their wives are not “in the mood.” Because sex is the way he feels intimate. Sex is the way he connects. Because putting your husband’s sexual desires first is supposedly the best way to avoid divorce.

These antiquated and sexist designs for marriage are damaging to women.

When a married mom doesn’t put out, she’s called “cold” and “selfish” and the dreaded “bitch.” She’s told she must have “something else going on” mentally. Outsiders to the marriage, and maybe even therapists, will question if the wife was ever sexually assaulted. Does she have a history of trauma? They’ll try to make connections that aren’t there. Because how could a wife possibly not want to have sex with her husband?

It is sickening and horrific to think of a woman having sex against her will, married or not. It’s disgusting that we automatically assume something must be “wrong” with a woman who is having a gap in her groove. Beyond all that, it’s dangerous.

Suggesting that married women and mothers should just “do it anyway” is sexual bullying and coercion. If a husband acts on the “just do it anyway” cliché and forces it — that’s called rape.

When we attack married mothers for not putting out, we’re reaffirming once again what’s important in this society.

A man’s needs, not a woman’s. A man’s voice, not a woman’s voice.
If I do decide to get married and if my man is very very endowed. It's him that would get tired, because it would be every night.

Just put on my sexy lingerie and perfume
In the room, then wait for him, while I twerk my hips and invite him to lick me up... Then give him all the styles that's in my head that night. kiss

The ease with which you get yourself fooled about things which are quite easily disproven shows your lack of intellect and the ruin of nigerian education.

The oral story of the Ika is that they migrated from Benin city !
I said the man said he was an Igbo man, but shares the Igbo and Bini culture. They can be Bini if they want to and they can be Igbo. That's why they think they are favoured.

So everyone who doesn't say he's Ika and migrated from Bini is a hoax. Can you see your state of reasoning?

Sharon, Benin is not really interested in anybody wanting to have been conquered or not conquered. But history recorded by Europeans who visited at the time is there for those interested to read. At least, if you write about Buhari regime today, it will be more authentic than someone using idea to guess and write it 300 or 500 years from now. Same applies to what was written those centuries ago.

You clearly do not understand Benin approach to conquest or expansion and I dare say world history and growth of different empires of old.

Benin never wanted extra "lebensraum". I kept saying this here on Nairaland. In fact the king used various means to stop Benin people from emigrating from the Benin to new colonies. Except soldiers, merchants and officials needed to run new areas. Remember that these officials became the ruling class of those lands. Examples are Oba of Lagos and his original chiefs like Obanikoro, Olu of Warri and the sons of 70 Benin chiefs that accompanied the first Ogiame (Olu) called Ginuwa (a son of Oba Olua of Benin) to Ewerre/Iwerre/Warri in 1480, etc. Iyase, Uwangue, Ologbosere, Ezomo/Ojomo and descendants of those 70 chiefs are still Warri senior chiefs today.

Some other Obis in Delta and beyond know their relationship with Benin. Dr Azikiwe narrated the origins of Ezechima (we have our Benin name for him) in his book. Surely, an Igbo person curious enough about history would have read Dr Zik's book by now. So are Ovies, Orodje, Otota and others in Delta.

Now, Benin always believe in exporting Benin system of administration and that was through the monarchical organisation with the king at the top, seniors chiefs around the king and dukes (usually princes) ruling the provinces. Oba of Benin as the King of Kings (emperor). Benin jealously guarded Benin culture otherwise. The language was for Benin people who, from my explanation above, were the elite of the new territories. A Benin proverb literally says "Let a Benin man speak Benin language and let an Ika man speak Ika. He who cannot speak his language is lost".

So Benin never wanted Benin language to be a commoner's language and certain cultural practices were to exclusively remain Benin practice. Some even considered scared to Benin people. Only the elite had that privilege. Of course, this practice is not the typical spreading of way of life far and wide like Arabs used religion.

Over time of course, the Beni elite were vastly outnumbered as they married into local population and their children took the culture around them. Benin was not bothered by that. After all, every ruler in the colonies must be screened and approved by the Oba in Benin. Every new Oba has to confirm every siting ruler in the colony and give them instrument of office. For example, in 1818, the Deji of Akure rebelled and made instrument of office for himself. Worse still, he murdered the emissary that brought him instrument of office from Benin. The Oba asked for his head and got his head sent to Benin.

Now to Agbor, it is heavily influenced by Benin. I know of at least 4 districts of Agbor town bearing Benin name. Benin words litter Ika language. Royal court practice in Agbor is massively Benin influenced. I have confirmed all these from Agbor people.

Sure, with the creation of Delta state, there is growing apart. IPOB, resurgence of Igbo nationalism and Biafra agitation means that more Igbo across the Niger feel the need to drum up the Igboness of Anioma people. Ultimately, Agbor and other Anioma people will decide if they want to join Ambazonia, Northern Nigeria, Niger Delta, Biafra or even Tigray people. grin grin grin cheesy cheesy

But that is all fine. We all have to move on.
There's a documentary in YouTube one which someone commented when an Ika man said they are Igbos, but still have little influence of Bini. This person who commented, obviously an Ika man said, the Bini changed all the market name, courts and streets which had Igbo names to Bini names. I wanted to ask why was that? And the way he did converse it seemed it happened recently.

And I love how a gentleman you are in answering lightly. Thank you.

1. Awolowo was a premier, with democratic authority and populace legitimacy, he has a proven record of seeing to the welfare of his people, even at that he had opposition and arch-enemies in Akintola, Adelabu, Fani Kayode and the NCNC elements in the SW.

Tinubu despite being a former Governor and the defacto political leader of the SW still have oppositions and sworn enemies in Afenifere, Obasanjo, Bode George, (Gani Fawehinmi & Odumakin) fought him till death.

Igbos are the only so called Republicans with herd mentality in the world (it's either you agree with them or you're a traitor...lol)
Yorubas don't because of the above people's opposition called them cowards, traitors or Saboteur, as a matter of fact some of them (eg Gani) are seen as heroes in Yoruba land.

2. Yorubas are "coward" but there was a Yoruba man named Fela that stood against a notorious military junta despite the assassination of his mother, we know of Gani Fawehinmi who never flee but we also know of your "brave" general and C-in-C of BIAFRA Ojukwu that ran away as a crossdresser to far away Abidjan when he had about the "coward act" of Benjamin Adekunle, Olusegun Obasanjo and Akinrinade after wasting over 3millions Biafrans.

The "brave" Biafran Army later surrendered to a coward Obasanjo...lol

We know of a "coward" called Victor Banjo that led the "brave" Biafran Army while the "brave" Ojukwu was busy sleeping with underage girls and we also know of a "brave" director Kanu that flee at the sight of the python dancers while he led your youths to their early graves in his safe haven in UK.

Yorubas aren't spontaneous and are more logical than emotional, that's what differentiate Yorubas to Igbos, we no be gra gra nzobu nzobu zombie emotional dingbats like you guys, that's is the reason why you lost over 3million people in a needless war and many of your youths are still being killed like fowl today and your land in ruins because in your land common sense has been sacrificed on the altar of emotions and false bravery.
It takes little for conmen and lunatics to brainwash you and make a living out your people by riding on their emotions...from Ojukwu to Nwazurike to Kanu to Simon Ekpa.

The FG need to build a lot of rehabilitation centers in the east, the rate of insanity in that part of the world is alarming...
Fela did little in his own part, which seems like nothing to me. He was only passing messages through his songs which is nothing. Why didn't he come out to stand against the government than using songs to pass messages. It isn't everyone who listen to songs.
That man, I've forgotten him, in the 1990s who lost the election, you people forgot about him till he died in prison. No one couldn't even speak his name publicly. And you're here telling me Yoruba's are brave.

You people listened to Awolowo becuase he was able to wish you people silly desires at the stake of you people's freedom.

If Awolowo wasn't in government, or the government was against him you people would have pulled your hand off him.

You did it for Fela, but when he died becuase people started to take him as a hero, even the Igbos. You people began to join the crowd.

It's you people's nature. The real zombies are you. You people have no value to yourself, and love to be deceived. grin

Like it or not, there were Igboid people within umbrella of Benin Empire. As slave trader reports showed. They along with yoruboid subjects reached an agreement with Benin authorities to allow them buy and sell themselves only. Even Olaudah Equiano made it clear he was a Benin citizen of Igbo ethnicity.

If Igbo now say he was too young to know such political details, then he was too young too to know that he was Igbo or from West Africa at all. He could also have fabricated an Igbo name and could have been bought in Congo, Gold Coast or Angola. grin cheesy

Today we wish Igbo good luck in their Biafra quest, but it doesn't change history.
Benin's influence stopped in the Niger River not willing to push further, it knew if it caused more commotion by bringing it's conquering nonsense, then Benin would have been cleared out of history, by most Igbos in the east gearing up together to fight it. That's why the Oba of Bini knew his lane, he couldn't dare try it.

And how so we know if these Ika and Agbor people were colonized by the Bini? I believed they lived harmoniously with them, that's why there is no hcnage of culture or that sort and they still took the Igbo dialect. If you said they conquered then there would be a change of culture in all rounds.

Betrayal definitely have a different meaning in the IPOB/BIAFRA dictionary. The way you guys use the word betray(al), Saboteur etc either shows the level of illiteracy endemic in the east or the effect of addiction to adulterated Mpurummiri.

Can there be a betrayal without agreement or consensus? So if any lunatic should say something now, everyone most sheepishly fall in line without objection abi?

Little wonder why an incoherent deranged lunatic Nnamdi Kanu is sending your young men to their early graves and turning the SE desolate.
But when Tinibu or Awolowo talk, you guys rallied around them. What are you getting at, if I may ask?

The stuff here is Yoruba's are cowardly in their acts, they don't hold any agreement no matter how it suits them. Once they know the journey is going to be hard for them, they are off the mantle. That's how they are.

They envy the Igbos most times because of their dogged spirits becuase that's what they don't have. People in your region believe and fear your elders, becuase you believe they are more powerful than you and one curse can make you useles, which is not. That's why you wallow in your ignorance for so long.

Everyone was shouting Fulani this in Ibadan and Yorubaland, you people were crying. Sunday Igboho decided to talk for you people, even when you people were wailing to Tinibu and he was numb.

Sadly, Sunday Igboho was served as you men's Scape goat, and I'm sorry for that man's action who meant well for the mothers and children we cried to him.

So, tell me, isn't that betrayal enough? Or you're looking for roundtable discussion, which Igbo's have done severally with the Yoruba tribe in the past, that for a fact they are tired now.

With all these mouth, with all the money the east receives despite little it contributes y can’t u people develop or is it Nigeria that made Abia state what it is?

Biafra geographically is like Lesotho, cause they are both single countries located within another country, FYI Lesotho is heavily dependent on South Africa I repeat heavily dependent on south Africa
In your dreams. Nigeria is backward in most of its things, where a country at its center takes over all legal requirements, and financial requirements there can never be development, and the said country claims to be so democratic.

Take for instance, if we therefore decide to penalize the Abia officials who have been looting people like that. They can do red carpeting and go to people like Tinibu or Buhari to give them protection after they specify their requirements based on politics. And the case is dropped.

So who are we decieving. But in Biafra, I'm perfectly sure every amount from all officials even the president would be accounted for. Not Nigeria that favours favouritism.

Biafra, Igbos are what makes Nigeria what they are without them Nigeria is less than nothing. Who knows Nigeria if Igbos aren't there trying to make it what it is. But backward north, delusional south are the ones taking it way back because of this factors, religion and ethnicity.

This is the reason, we want to have a Biafra with groups who want equality, and prosperity for all. Not groups that love to gamble with politics or make themselves feel important when there's nothing to show for it. grin

That’s what Lesotho thought when they told them to join South Africa, 100years later they are crying up and down begging South Africa to annex them. You want Biafra so that all of una go run come dae border us for Nigerian border cause u want to enter Nigeria
And who told you Biafra is like Lesotho? You're funny. Without Igbos, Nigeria is nothing and the government and all Nigerians know that. When Igbos are finally gone Nigeria is like any other African country, little or no development or outshining as it's presently doing in some quarters.

All of our good heads from around the world would come back to make improvements, and you'll begin to see the morning sun that's actually on the Biafrian flag, which is symbolic.

Then I trust Igbo people, we would build one large wall with barb wires for your type, because where you see development you tend to tirade and come like a wave. So to prevent a masss inequality, we would have to make a wall and fend for the Biafrans on the land. That's the deal. So keep wishing that Igbos would beg you for anything.

Isn't it Yoruba, Ijaws, and some south-south states that beg the federal government for their arrears or for development, or when the government doesn't attend to them they begin to cry-- it's shows you the force and courage of the Igbo people.

But since when Buhari has been acting like this, have you seen any Igbo man coming to beg him for support, except the governments from Igbo land who work for him, so he can continue to pay them.

Very rich, talk more if they are out of Nigeria. You'll see the world looking upon them as the hope of Africa.

I use to remember those days before this time when we feel timid to even ask a lady out at age 20 while most of the ladies were still virgin @18, 20, 25... But nowadays, probably because of puberty stage that has come to 10yrs of age, most of our teenagers are not afraid of sex anymore.

If you come to think of it, the present generation are gave birth to as a result of one indomine and one egg with that Tuface song (You are my African Queen)... Those who got pregnant that time did that out of wedlock and that is why is difficult to control the sex organs of their children.

If you ask this generation what age did they disvirgin, you'd hear some miserable respond like what is Virginity. A girl of 14yrs even define virginity for me. She said 'virginity is a lack of opportunity'. I was shocked to hear this from a girl that is suppose to still be bathing in the rain outside.
16, I was heavily endowed then and now. And men gave me so much attention. Anywhere I pass they licked their lips and it was fascinating to watch. I so love myself because I'm God's gift. kiss
