ednut1:It's even worse than that. Imagine oga Nairaland demarketing Nairaland on twitter, implying he rarely stays on his own site. How then do you expect to gain new users? |
Slytiger:I think the fact that they all wanted to stay together prevented that. Very unfortunate. |
holocron:It's not a skit. A nearby dam broke due to excessive rains and flooded their path before they could cross over to safety. |
hegu:Done. This was so horrific. May the souls of the dead rest in peace. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uJw2VzTxfU An Indian family was reportedly picnicking after a wedding when they were caught by rushing floodwaters and swept away. Of the 19 family members caught in the flooding, at least five are confirmed dead or missing, including four young children. The newlywed couple survived. According to the footage, the nine family members stood together when the rushing waters caught them unawares and started sweeping them one at a time. Despite brave attempts by witnesses to rescue them with tree branches, their efforts sadly proved unsuccessful.

Kaka's son's own is the most identical. "Dracula" Suarez is the funniest.Ote Ronaldo just donated his face to his girls. Not sure whether that's a very good or bad thing ![]() |
GloriousGbola: GloriousGbola battles Tightpussy. Na MarvelousPikin go be result. |
BRATISLAVA:Hey, did you check my first comment at all? First thing I said was that he was wrong for beating his wife and should have reined in his emotions. I also called out the wife because she was also domestically violent against him. She knelt on the back of his head on the bed suffocating him in the process. I bet you lot chose to ignore that part and you have the hypocritical nerve to say someone is playing ostrich. Your last paragraph is the only part I align with. |
FuckingMachine:Lol, or rather you want him to cry profusely. Person wey still go play stadium football publicly this morning with his Plumber FC team, na im you talk say he dey cry. Na you dey cry since o ![]() |
DonroxyII: Na you tatafo carry come here o. Me na out of genuine concern for a respected member ![]() Jarus wey dey dash Elon money to people anyhow immediately it comes in? Don't think so. He's quite rich with lots of properties. He just even completed a mini stadium on his own. |
Jarus is even already catching cruise on Twitter while people are worried or killing themselves over his matter here. On to the next one pls. |
TheSuperX:100%. In fact he shouldn't even have brought the family issue to the public in the first instance. Apparently, his anger management issues got the better of him. With all the projects and initiatives he is involved in with several reputable organizations, I really hope he comes out of this unscathed. |
Beremx:Several notable personalities in Nigeria have been polygamous without any issues and some are even Christians. Nobody asks them why they want another woman. Jarus is a well-known devout Muslim. Not sure why anyone would question his decision to go polygamous. |
This is quite sad. Both Jarus and his wife are wrong. Jarus should have resisted the temptation to beat her up regardless of his frustrations. Now his hard-earned reputation is at stake. His wife is also wrong for attacking him physically by kneeling on his neck based on twitter narrations which is also domestic abuse. Also she should not have gone fetish on him with evidence all around in her room. I'm also quite shocked at his naivety. How do you admit by own self to commit domestic abuse on twitter of all places? Even if you think your religion gives you a cover for that, silence would have been golden in such instance. Jarus really fall hand. But it is hard to ignore his extremely positive and value adding contributions to Nigerian youths and the professional career and business space. I guess his massive social credit should give him some soft landing cos in the end this is just a stumble. It does not define the blessing he has been for over 15 years. |
OJEEMAH:What! I'll call you bro. So sorry about this. |
OJEEMAH:OJ where have you been bro! You don japa abi ![]() @topic. Another compatriot of Pendu has seen the light. Next thing na for Baba to unfollow straight. |
Almiron:Spot on bro. Holland, Denmark and Greece have won the Euros, but never good enough to win the World cup. Big European teams like Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Italy could not even make it out of WC Group stage at various times. This cannot happen in Euros. European opposition in Group stage Euros are weaker. All dem Hungaries, Austria, Georgia, Finland, Armenia etc. These are countries that are not even good enough to make it to the WC. When Messi played Estonia like you said, he scored 5 goals in that match something wey Pendu never even do before in all his years of bullying awoof European villages. Imagine if he were to be playing similar European minnows every season, he'd be on 300 international goals by now. And lastly, ask any Pendulum that between Euros and WC, which of them would they prefer for their asun, it's a no-brainer. All their shalaye is just out of spite. No evidence. |
Man's obviously the prize. |
He's obviously shooting like a Cannon. Nicking dem all on target ![]() |
Almiron:My everly capable one man army. I'm good bro. I can see you are too lol. |
This is going to be the GOAT of drinks. Another banger released from the stables of the Greatest to ever do it. Even Pendu sef no go wan miss out. Na to disguise go buy and drink am for night. Who knows after being energized by Mas+, he might finally get to win a trophy in the desert instead of the unending bucket load of tears. |
teepain:Thank you! |
Mrexcell:Barca beat Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge 2 - 1 in 2006. Barca beat Mourinho's Madrid again 2 - 0 at Bernabeu in UCL in 2010/2011. The 9 year unbeaten claim is overrated and a cherry picked record. |
siverspooon:Pep spent 15 years to win 3 UCLs and not 2 as you claimed. Within that 15 year span, Pep has won the highest total number of trophies than all the other coaches and with the most defined footballing philosophy. That's why he's the GOAT coach. By the way, Barca beat Mourinho's Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2006, so don't get all the exaggerations about his 9 year unbeaten run. |
blowjohn:Or 60.001k. Arsene Wenger fans will understand better. |
blowjohn:Ah I see. I think I understand your pov better now. Your faves operate mostly in niche genres which tends to spotlight their area of strength. This doesnt mean they are better. It's just your taste for lyrical wizardry that resonates them with you. Whitney, MJ are mainstream and at the very top of the musical chain. I enjoy Whitney more though. |

No disrespect to those you mentioned. They are all still below Whitney's level and aura. Have you listened to Whitney at all? If yes you wouldn't be comparing her to Kelly Clarkson (whom I love by the way especially with one of my favorite songs of all time "Breakaway" .There will always be great vocal talents and I've listened to a fair share of them from Jessi J. to Sarah Ikumu, Morissette Amon, Dimash (the guy who can sing up to 7 octaves whistle notes (Mariah can reach only 5 or 6) ). But if you talk about the total package: Vocal range, pitch, vocal control, vocal strength and power, soulfulness, vocal sweetness, diva-ness, name it, Whitney reigns supreme. She is the female equivalent of MJ. |
Whitney is regarded as the all-time benchmark for powerful vocals. The greatest vocalist of modern music. Of the vocal trinity, Whitney, Celine and Mariah, Whitney remains unmatched. There is just something different about that voice, I can listen to it for hours on end. |
santaclaws:Even though your point is valid, she was still scammed based on the dimensions. The case is not even up to 43cm if you check where she held it and it was not as long as her hand (nobody's hands is 17 inches long). So it's a scam, they sold a 20cm long suitcase (plus the handle) as 43cm. |
Android17:I'm smiling as I read your comment because you are pulling me into where I didn't want to go; delving into the technical depths of Pep's style. For sake of simplicity, I used possession football in generic terms to mean a dominant fluid style of play. If we go into details, Pep's tiki-taka style of 2008 - 2012 and with the Bayern team is different from this current City style which has been tweaked to be more pragmatic and less one-dimensional. In the end, I'd just say that Pep built on Cryuff's ideas, re-engineered and then owned it. |
