Sometimes we want things for selfish reasons. And don't count the cost longterm.

I wanted kids, with or without marriage. Now I see the wisdom of a good marriage protecting children.

This your question is something worth ruminating about. I understand your view about if I long to have a child for selfish reason. You maybe right. We are all selfish. It's just that a lot of us are pretending not to be. I only derive happiness in fathering a child biologically. At the same time, I'm not against adoption because I'll likely adopt as well. Raising a kid as a single parent can be real tough atimes. As cute and fun children are when its only you raising them they can almost take away your sanity, you don't get to time out because it's only you

I understand your point. Before doing a thing, I always ask myself if I'm doing the right thing or not. And before I come up with this thought, I've thought about it thoroughly, I just need to have a child of my own to also have what to live for, and if possible continue my legacy.

Dem don come again o. There is no husband that doesnt do house chores to assist his wife. What women want is simple house boy. For the first 5 years of my marriage, I was the one going to market to get what she will cook. I ran errand for her in the street before the children grew and took over from me. I took off her the burden to do my laundry as I even run the business. I clean the house sometimes, especially when she is sick or travelled and she usually meet clean home when she returns. I was doing all these to protect her and reduce her stress, despite my heavy shedule.. But guess what, she would always accuse me of not helping at house chores . Me a man who have multiple streams of income and do over 80% financial responsibility( just to even dash her the remaining percent sef) compare to someone who works from home. Yet she wants me to be washing plates and sweeping floor everyday. That's helping house chores to women. If it is a man that sits idly and the woman working her ass, that is even understandable. Women dont know what they want walahi.
