Just logged on to my profile to see the message that made me wanna cry this morning,

My application for a study permit was refused. Na why i no wan use paper application before be that if not for the fact that my documents were too heavy.

The suprising part is that there is no refusal letter on my application and i was sent no email concerning this. Been waiting for their response since december not knowing that my application was already rejected.

How do i go about ordering for my GCMS note please.

Download the study questionnaire form, common law should be your marital status, you may need to book appointment if you are submitting in Lagos

I never had the chance to thank you. I have already filled all the form and unfortunately, I didn't chose common law because I realized I would have to fill another form for it.
Some people said I can just goto the Vfs office without prior appointment, how true it is, I don't know...

I am going from ibadan tomorrow morning. Thanks once again

Urgent Please:
Evening guys, I am planning to goto the VFS office as early as possible on Friday to use paper route after realizing the number of documents I have is too much.

I have actually started the online application processes and it remained the documents I was supposed to upload before I stopped. Can I still use paper route?

Please how many IMM forms do I need to download please? I have downloaded the IMM1294 and IMM5707 for family info.

I actually have a baby mama, do i select single or common law as my marital status?

Thanks to all the gurus in the house. I can't wait to submit because its already affecting my work sef.

Wanted to apply through paper route before but when I realized those Kenyans VOs are not smiling, had to change my mind.

Happy Sunday family.

Koksss:
Hellloooo everyone! I came across this forum while browsing through the internet for information about visa delays. Although it was months after I submitted, I thought I should share some information with you in hopes that some will be encouraged.

Online Application.

Applied- May 7th
Biometrics Done- May 11th
Medical Request- August 17th
Medical passed- August 23rd
Passport Request- September 18th (The passport request letter is dated September 17th. I sent an email to them in the morning of the 18th and received the passport request after their usual technical update).

*I did upfront medicals which I sent with my application. When I went back to the hospital to get another examination, I was told to send the upfront medical report to CIC as it’s valid for 1 year. I did that on the 20th of August.

*I’m 31 years and applied for a 2nd masters. My 1st masters was done in the UK which I completed in 2012.

*I mentioned nothing of home ties in my SOP as I knew nothing of its importance. I have 2 younger brothers in Canada, 1 currently on study permit and the other applied for work permit which he got on the same day I received my approval.

*I used an agent, I didn't know about this helpful forum until August. Plus the agent was extremely helpful and took a load off me while I worked on other things.

God is faithful in all situations. Despite the study gap, 2nd masters and age as some see it as a barrier, God came through for me. Matthew 19:26 and Luke 1:37. I’m sure this is a miracle!

I still had to submit the right documents though.

My Documents Submitted
• CIC Forms
• Police Clearance
• Admission Letter from TRU (1st semester tuition paid)
• Letter of Recommendation (From volunteer work)
• Letter of Introduction (From full time job)
• Reference Letter (From full time job)
• 5 months Pay Slip (By the way, I earned just above 55k every month)
• Offer of Employment (From full time job)
• Bank Statement (Had a balance of about N185k)
• SOP
• Transcript from 1st degree and Masters
• School Certificates
• NYSC Certificate
• Birth Certificate and my Family's

Sponsor's Documents Submitted
• Affidavit of Sponsorship (My relation)
• Certificate of Registration (His business)
• Letter of Introduction
• Property Document (1 of his office buildings, 1 of his houses)
• Nigerian Bank Statements (£,$ and Naira accounts)

I hope this helps anyone out there. It’s great to have direction, although patience is key during this process.
All the best to everyone.

Congrats bro...am happy for you. I think am gonna need the number of your agent if you don't mind. Or can I send you an email? Doing everything myself has been affecting my work a lot and my boss is already complaining. Thanks so much

1st of all, nobody here uses agents cos if u got most of your visa requirements, den u don't need an agent at all...I won't even advise u to...secondly, wen u get your documents ready including the bank statements which should have reasonable/sufficient amount as the balance in it...den u can go to the vfs building in lagos ikate..u don't need an appointment, go there with your visa fee in cash and submit your documents..den start praying
Thanks a lot bro. I appreciate the info...have a great day boss.

Hello gurus in the house, I have checked all the important links in the first page but still can't find "steps to visa paper route application". Or do you know any good agent you can recommend? I already have all my documents...except bank statements... Resuming January 2019.

1. If you are going via the paper route you will pay the app fee on the day of submission. Once you are ready to submit your app just carry the money(cash) and every documents involve in the process.
2. Deed of transfer will be helpful. Your mum needs to write that the land has been given to you. Any other document relating to the land will come handy as well.
3. Any document relating to the car will do(registration, proof of ownership etc).
4. You don't need to proof anything since you are notarroed to her, just submit copy of your baby's birth certificate, your baby Mama's ID then explain the rest on your SOP. You can state that she is the mother of your baby and you intend getting married to her soon.
About if CIC verify marriage cert, hope you don't intend forging it for yourself? Cos CIC verify EVERY document you submit to them and store them in their system, so be careful. In the case of your mum and I don't think it will be a problem cos she isn't the principal applicant...
Thanks for your swift response bro...this goes a long way...I can never forge a document because I don't wanna get suspended. Have a great day...thanks once again

Documents that needs to be notarized are documents that does not bear an official signature or stamp on them. Hence, if your documents have this, you don't have to notarized them. Countless applicants gets approved without notarising any of theicr documents.

Protect yourself from dangerous vehicle purchases!

A lot of imported 'Tokunbo' vehicles have all sorts of damage history, including but not limited to
Accidents and Collisions,

Flood/Water damage,

Frame or Structural damage,

Vandalism and Theft, and of course

Mileage tampering!

Always insist on a V I N check/Vehicle History Report, it's the only way to determine the true history of any vehicle!

We go a step further than just a generic History Report, we provide detailed pictures of the vehicle as available, revealing the true extent of the damage!

Having doubts about our service? Have you been told it's impossible? Contact us anyway, what do you have to lose?

Yes ooo...if not for the VIN check I did through you, I would have regretted paying for the over-baked car which was not even worth 1.2M and they wanted 1.5M.

And thanks for the cheap prices too...if not for that, wouldn't be able to check up to to the numbers of vehicles I checked yesterday.

Thanks boss...I appreciate all the advice you gave after each VIN check
