Buhari? Does the definition below bear ANY resemblance?

It is a sad commentary on the life of the world's largest black nation that its people will be deliberately lied to, deceived and manipulated in such manner. This man was clearly ill in 2015. That is however not the problem. (If APC were sincere all they had to do was respond to Nigeria's challenges and appoint first class ministers for the 'head of state') He is not familiar with administrative bureaucracies. That is however not the problem. (If APC possessed any administrative intelligence they would have immediately fine tuned the civil service) He does not comprehend or possess the capacity to absorb and promote democratic ideals. That is however not the problem. (All APC needed to do was strengthen democratic structures, procedures and protocols - VP would have helped with this). He and his close circle are not Saints. That is however not the MAIN problem. (A semblance of fairness and justice may have sufficed to massage the national conscience) THE PROBLEM IS THE WILFUL EGREGIOUS DECEIT & SHIRKING OF RESPONSIBILITY WHILE CASTING BLAME ELSEWHERE. THE PROBLEM IS MANIPULATING A NATION'S ALREADY SENSITIVE ETHNO-RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS FOR POLITICAL GAIN & CAPITAL. THE PROBLEM DEAR PEOPLE IS WE HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF MALIGNANT CHARLATANS IN POWER. |
Silly.... Clearly different people have different ideas as to what a goverment is.... Let's have a Referendum Already.!!! The threats against ethnic groups against other ethnic groups and state actors against citizens are on the increase. There are subtle moves to contain freedom of speech under the guise of 'controllling' hate speech. Before it is too late Nigerians Must put pressure on their elected representatives in the National Assembly (http://saharareporters.com/2016/04/13/saharareporters-publishes-contact-information-nigerian-lawmakers) To Urgently Pass A Joint Resolution on the Immediate Convening of a Referendum where Nigerians can indicate their Choice of these three options. 1. RESTRUCTURING: I agree that Nigeria should be restructured along Federal, Regional and Local Government lines. 2. BIAFRA: I support the creation of the sovereign state of Biafra. 3. STATUS QUO: I vote that the Status Quo remains PS. The National Assembly might also be advised to amend the number of days a President can be away from duty so as to prevent a reoccurrence of this unsavoury situation. We cannot and should not as a Nation be dragged back to the days of absolutist undemocratic government supported by a few. |
Rogue Don't worry BUHARI will unlook this, a whole public holiday is not for nothing. Did Buhari mention grass cutting in his speech? Una never see something. Mai Gaskiya indeed |
The guy come collect charger.

The whole government is a missed opportunity

Some people LIKE to support Wash-wash goverments. Some are PAID to promote Wash-wash governments. Lagos is a city of Paradoxes - Intelligent & Belligerently Foolish. The last proper Governor of Lagos was Lateef Jakande |
TourismMan:Some people never learn. Some are PAID not to learn. https://www.nairaland.com/3961611/cross-river-state-capital-carnival Donald Duke superintended over the reckless spending of N35Billion Naira of Cross River State's money based on 'assumptions'. None of these assumptions materialised BEFORE completion of Tinapa, so ZERO due diligence & ZERO feasibility studies on N35Billion and you have the guts to support such an individual with fetid excuses? |

Great Idea! However, there are not enough Nigerian Architects in the first place due to politics! So, following the post on FP concerning Architects and registration I did a little digging. In true design fashion I tried to provide an infographic. Hope the Architects in the house appreciate the effort. Lalalsticlala, Seun I need some help here These are the Accredited schols running a Masters program in Nigeria Abia State University Ahmadu Bello University Ambrose Alli University Anambra State Universty of Science and Technology Covenant University Cross River State University of Technology Enugu State University of Technology Federal University of Technology, Akure Imo State University Nnamdi Azikiwe University Obafemi Awolowo University University of Jos University of Lagos University of Nigeria University of Uyo Source http://www.arconigeria.org.ng/view-accredited-institutions Total number of Registered Architects in 2003 (15 years ago) = 1925 (2003 figures - Full Members & Fellows) Source https://web.archive.org/web/20031208162232/http://www.nigerianinstituteofarchitects.org:80/Members_/members_.html Current Number of Registered Architects in Nigeria (including Full Members & Fellows retired numbers) = 3438 source: http://www.arconigeria.org.ng http://arconigeria.org.ng/sites/default/files/downfiles/AccreditedArchitects2013.pdf ARCON/NIA has registered 1513 architects in a space of 15 YEARS!! that's approximately 100.8 architects every year for the last 15 Years! Each of the 15 schools above has graduated a conservative average of 50 student architects a year. That's 50 students x 15 schools = 750 students x 15 years (2003-2017) = 11,250 potential architects (not counting those from unacreddited schools) ARCON/NIA have registered a woeful 1,513 architects of 11,250 potential architects over the last 15 years. They've been admitting 100.8 a year over the last 15 years when they should have been registering approximately 750 a year! 100/750

Very interesting deduction from the Stats |
Wrong move. Not because it's Lagos but because it sets a bad precedent. Government actors take decisions thinking they or their party will be in power for ever. |
Is this a democracy? |
Democracy? |
Funny dudes with an abysmal sense of humour |
I hope the Governor is up to THIS task. Hope also the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control is already on ground |
SalamRushdie:Thank you. I deliberately did not address the technicalities of the policy as I have been extremely bothered about this practice. Lives are being lost. I have communicated with the former Corp Marshal, tried to get this on Channels TV, no one seems worried. You will also note that as you rightly observed, he DID say this WILL be undertaken in conjunction WITH the Standards Organisation of Nigeria. |
This is the problem when you hire people with loose morals. No finesse. No professionalism. No commitment to duty. |
Readonee35L:Maybe you missed out the part of the definition where it says 'often new'? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemon_(automobile) Read through please. Thanks
|
Meanwhile, those Interstate buses that you use to travel, do you know that they are cut in two, sandwiched and squeezed into containers? One 40 foot container can take up to 6 buses or more! Go to Promise Land in Ladipo to see for yourself! Stay safe people!
|
calculusx:Hungry today, dead tomorrow. Salvage cars with a salvage title and complete airbags are okay! PS. It costs less to import a car with no airbags than one with. Death is cheap |
safiaaASSHOLE:How do we know where the car we buy falls in? 1% of 100% or 5% of 100%? By the time they panel beat the car and oven bake it one could swear it's a different car! These cars are called lemons. You will only end up paying Kazeem's children's school fees and completing his bungalow in Igbogbo!
|
safiaaASSHOLE:He is fairly accurate
|
When people do not know better it's the job of government to protect their interests and the interest of the general public who may suffer harm directly or indirectly from inordinate acts. Most of the cars shipped in as Tokunboh are grievously 'accidented'. Their structural integrity has been fatal compromised such that in the event of another accident, the lives of passengers are at much more risk. The irony is that this cars are sold as 'clean' cars so it is the shylock dealers who have no respect for the sanctity of human life that pocket huge gains. Most cars that are imported from the United States have a Certificate of Destruction as title. You CANNOT resell the car in the US and they clearly state that it can ONLY be exported.

Maybe dem go reconsider |
