It is clear that these ones including mai supposed gaskiya have utter disregard for Nigerians |
I think this should be up for discussion |
richidinho:Those who hide under the cloak of progress, openness, and forthrightness to spread insidious propaganda are oftentimes more dangerous than those who come with guns blazing. |
omohayek:505MW Lost due to Gas Constraints VS 2000.8MW Lost Due to Frequency Management but it has to be Tariff that is the problem. Kindly look through the attached, I'm certain you will find infrastructural faults/failures/inadequacies littering the situation report. When all you have is a Hammer everything looks like a nail. Meanwhile, same article On the idleness of the plants, the spokesman for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), Yakubu Lawal, said some of the projects, which are not yet generating electricity, are still under construction, while the completed plants that are not generating electricity are complaining of gas supply and transmission challenges. “If a power plant has four units available and there is gas, it is only the TCN that can guarantee what the plant can generate. If the TCN can only take power from two units, the plant can only generate from two units because if TCN takes from all the four units, the system will collapse,” he said. But disregarding the supply complaints, the Group Spokesman for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Ndu Ughamadu, said the daily average natural gas supply to the plants had risen by 64 per cent. He put the average gas supply at 729 million standard cubic feet/daily (mmscfd) in May 2017, 63.74 per cent higher than the 446mmscfd supplied a year ago. If this is the case, it means there is something much more than gas supply that is keeping the thermal stations from generating electricity. But it HAS TO BE Tariff that is the problem....... They are clearly not aware of legal or moral codes Or they are and believe the law doesn't apply to them. http://dailypost.ng/2017/06/17/nigerian-government-slams-heavy-fine-jail-term-public-smoking

Nigeria can be so much better. We just need to get rid of this almost perpetual cycle of kakistocratic governments |
Who would have thought Buhari would ever be faced with a moral or integrity based challenge? Those who knew from the start that the man and 'integrity' used in the same sentence as a personal description is an oddity in the first place. D guy na zobo inside coke bottle! |
Outgoing Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reform Dr. Joe Abah shares a fake quote attributed to former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, David Cameron. A google search with the said quote, returned no reference to the quote or David Cameron. When challenged by another tweeter user the DG claims that it was the message and not who said what, that was the point of his tweet, why then did the DG share an image with the quote allegedly ascribed to David Cameron?

People sharing screenshots of cloned cartoons sourced from Pornographic sites in an apparent attempt to trend, get more likes and followers on Social Media. This very act in itself is another form of depravity |
omohayek:Discos were privatised in 2013 Most of these IPPs were built or initiated before then. The report is on the inefficiency of existing infrastructure that is underutilised for specific reasons (gas, supply lines, archaic grid). Where does the faulty economics with regard to charging tariffs come in? Your assertion that tariff is the issue doesn't quite gold up with the information in the article. Plus what have Discos and Gencos done with all the money they have been given since? ![]() |
The same Boko Haram? |
AZeD1:Good to know |
Krossbow123:Comment now |
PROWESX:Sadly Nigerians appear unperturbed by this. Maybe they do not understand the implication? This country is NOT fair. The rich are protected and further enriched while the poor are further impoverished. |
Teflon Don |
Okay oh Who is the Presidency? Clue: not the guy in London |
Remember this? |
Before, When the raison d'etre of a whole Nation is resource based cake sharing. Historically unsustainable business model. |
Yes Na, If you aren't up to doing what you promised to do, personal honour and integrity (long before being duty bound) would imply that you will step down WITHOUT anybody prompting you. Clearly General President Mohammadu Buhari is simply not a man of honour or integrity. , Lies were told glibly. The truth has found him out. |
Hmmm This is a fair observation but seems destined to make THE VERY SAME mistakes Fayemi made that cost him victory. These kinds of projects are good. (one would rather prefer the easing up of business activities in the state and the creation of opportunities for PRIVATE organisations to undertake such - governments are not well suited to devising and running hospitality facilities) The Crux of the matter is: Is there food in the stomachs of the populace while such is being built? Let's not get ahead of ourselves and repeat this nonsense in 2019. Fayemi COULD SIMPLY have looked out for the physical and material condition of Ekiti People WHILE seeking actively to provide proper physical infrastructure the dividends of which will kick in and further move the generality of the impoverished populace out of a dependence on 'stomach infrastructure' to appreciation and enjoyment of physical infrastructure. |
No money to even print campaign posters! But more importantly, who needs campaign posters when you have the genuine mandate of your constituency! Nigerian young people for whom the future and all that it can be beckons, are you ready or na jus' talk an' type |
Really? |
Lalalsticlala I no see ya name inside oh! |
Sad. This government is built on lies. As we speak there is a N2.7trillion budget deficit just in one half of the year. This is what happens when a people have selective Amnesia. A Buhari Presidency is as predictable as lalasticlala and his love for snake threads hitting fp. There are still 2 more years. El-Rufai wants to be president, imagine 2 years of Buhari and four of El-Rufai. Heck! That might just be the fastest way to a restructured Nigeria (or separate Nations) |
Nigeria has a N2.7trillion Naira budget deficit in just six months!!! What are you people doing with OUR money? |
They have sha warned you people. When 2019 reach and dem begin talk say no more card reader.... "Silent Revolution" indeed. Your conscience is seared, peddling lies for money. |
And you all fell for the "fighting corruption" "corruption is fighting back" hogwash |
Seriously? While busy proposing Kenya has commenced building.... Nigeria, please pull up your trousers http://edition.cnn.com/2017/06/23/africa/pinnacle-nairobi/index.html

Nigerians: There is no light oh! Fashola: Oga on am, okay off am, okay on am again.... Na d wire dey hot. |
olayanju22:Carefully read through both cases: Power/metering & ARCON/NIA. He is the supervising Minister in both cases. He made a point in the metering case that subordinates acted outside Ministerial permission. This is happening in the second case. |
