Empresa:Your misconception is to think any candidate that won election in 2023 would have provided Nigeria with stable electricity by 2024. Will the funds drop from heaven like rain, and would the infrastructure just appear and start working like an imagination? Tinubu as far back as 1999 with only few months in office as Governor, already understood the need for improved power and the means to get it done, so he appraoched Enron in the USA to come to Lagos and set up an IPP. But you are talking about a Peter Obi that went to Egypt to get campaign talking points in 2022. Why did Obi not go to Egypt when he was Governor? https://www.nairaland.com/2194879/how-fg-cheated-lagos-state |
DeLaRue:I did not want to believe I was reading a Kperogi topic. Terrible misinformation all round. |
I read a lot of ignorance on this topic. |
Israel's success in life should be his priority for now. Marriage is not necessarily a successful venture for everyone, including those who stay married. |
I reckon those whose institutions were irresponsible with their applications have finally become responsible. |
Oracleee:Some of you also include those who voted for the winner of the election that became President, and they are earning better than you. Defense or support for a government in power, has nothing to do with the election that produced that government. |
MEEVEET:What is the right thing to an election loser? That the loser must have been declared the winner? What then is the right thing to the alternate loser? No matter how you dice it, a loser and the supporters would always be angry. Donald Trump has proven this to be a global phenomenon with his behavior after he lost his re-election in 2020. |
Agungi road leading up to Milverton Estate is always an eyesore due to flooding and poor drainage. It is only in Nigeria that even those driving RangeRovers are living inside filth. |
Is September 2022 more recent than January 2023 when it was just 1month to the election he lost to Tinubu, and he made the below vow to remove subsidy immediately? The day Nigerians decide that they cannot live without fuel subsidy, Peter Obi who believes in subsidy removal on the 1st day in office would not be their choice, so stop trying to force it. No consumer would deliberately purchase an expired product that Peter Obi represents. Unlike Peter Obi, Omoyele Sowore vowed not to remove subsidy, but only about 14,000 Nigerians voted for him, the least of which came from the SouthEast who preferred to vote their tribal brother at almost 100%, so no votes left for any other candidate to score in the SouthEast. 22million Nigerians voted for Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi who all vowed to remove subsidy, instead of Sowore. Elections do have consequences.

ClearFlair:Progress that the people of Burkina Faso cannot even go to their fellow WestAfrican neighbours without a visa? Why does anarchy and illegitimate governments anywhere in the world excite you? |
ch214:I see you are not ready to have an Igbo President removed from power. That was all I wanted to prove about your bigotry. Thanks for participating in the survey. |
ch214:We will wait till an Igbo is voted as President, we will let him/her rule for 1year, then we can have the illegitimate takeover that anarchists and Igbos have been dreaming of. I hope that is fair enough? Igboman, we know your tribal pain and agony at losing the Presidency to a Yoruba Muslim.

This guy should be provided with pro bono psychiatric care. |
Tflex01:Hahahahahaha! |
More like the truth Igbos have been trying to revise because of shame. |
Believeintruth:Yes! Tribalistic exploits by the Igbos. |
tito44:So because he is Igbo, he is the only competent person who can play the role? So he must not progress again to other roles despite his competence, or he should be replaced by another Igbo to demonstrate the need for competent individuals? This is why I am not moved by your crocodile tears. Anyone who remembers your exploits during the 1st republic government would know that you only complain when you are not in power to do the same things you cry about. |
Believeintruth:Yes he said that which is true, but the specific post I quoted, he went ahead to say Prof Kenneth Dike was the first Professor in Nigeria. |
Racoon:Stop lieing. How and where did Prof Kenneth Dike become the first Professor in Nigeria? That his fellow Igbos ensured he was moved from behind to become First Nigerian Principal of UCI, does not mean he was the first Nigerian professor in the same UCI or anywhere in the world. Professor Doctor Oladele Ajose was the first ever professor in Nigeria and West Africa that was of indigenous origin. He was a Professor of Public Health, a field of Medicine. He studied Medicine and specialised in Public Health, eventually becoming the first African Professor in all of UI and all of West Africa, and the most senior ranking African on the School Council. When it was time for a Nigerian to head UI that was then University College Ibadan, he was schemed out by President Azikiwe who was Visitor to the school and Akanu-Ibiam who was the chair of the school board, to favour Prof Kenneth Dike that was his junior and who himself feared to take the position, knowing the tribal schemes that resulted to his own appointment. Professor Oladele Ajose would eventually take the Principal role at the inauguration of University of Ife. |
Amumaigwe:Are you not asking yourself the same question? |
Mrexcell:I reckon the money she returned was from her children's school fees or the sale of yams from her village farm? |
Mrexcell:She was deputy Finance Minister under Okonjo Iweala, and then full Finance Minister when NOI was moved to Foreign Affairs when Obasanjo was President. When Jonathan was President, she was a Senator from 2011 to 2015, and headed the Finance unit of his re-election campaign. |
This fear fear guy that was begging and pleading to be released from the airport cell when he was arrested in Zimbabwe. He must have thought he would be sent to Nigeria. Very arrogant fellow that ordinary Zimbabwe humbled. But once he was freed, he started to threaten Zimbabwe. Reminding us once more that his own brand of journalism is all about settling partisan scores.

Anither563:You mean the real thief wey senior Abure? She only returned N23m out of N2.5b that the Jonathan campaign sent to her directly from CBN. Same Jonathan that was using Nigerian funds for his PDP campaign, is the same corrupt fellow that some people without direction are missing. KEVIND:Imagine the kind of fellow thief that Obi is grateful too. Was Obi not in PDP when Nenadi Usman was also there and fully partaking in sharing Nigerian funds from the CBN for Jonathan's political ambition? Esther Nenadi Usman go just dey laugh Peter Obi, say this man na real iron condemned mumu. Obi is a shameless fellow and hypocrite.
|
Atleast she has paid back part of the money she stole when she was in office. She returned N23m, while the rest of the N2.5b that the corrupt Jonathan directed CBN to send to her, can now be used to fund Labour Party and Peter Obi to give us a "New Nigeria". Peter Obi has not returned all the interest on the shares for the profit made when he deliberately domiciled Anambra State funds in Fidelity Bank that he was the former board chairman. Many fraudulent fellows in this Labour Party. |
