But the national election losers wanted to make it a referendum on APC's performance at the federal level.

With 98.14% results uploaded, each party already know their fate without any affirming ceremony by INEC.

They are only waiting for the official INEC collation which is manual, and official INEC manual declaration of the winner also.

This purported local government results attributed to our platform as the source was lifted from the official results of the 2020 Edo State governorship election.

But PDP don begin wail over the results on irev that favour APC with large leads and almost every registered voter coming out to vote.

Why did irev not prevent that from happening at the polling unit?

INEC had said it from the get go for the 2023 elections, that whether the result is uploaded or not, what matters is that the result exist on the actual authorized result paper, and the scores on that paper is what is tallied to get the total votes.

This election will clear the over expectations that many of you put on irev server that is only holding pictures of votes after the manipulation might have already occured before it is recorded on the result sheet of the polling unit.

Many are mistaken that irev will solve all the electoral problems of Nigeria.

Like this valid result now, will irev investigate why almost everyone who was registered in that polling unit came out to vote? Or identify if those voting were induced with financial rewards?

No!

Irev is just a server to upload results of every polling unit. How the result was obtained is not a problem to irev. irev does not even allow inputting of scores to then compute and provide a tally as more updates are received from the field. It is just a storage server to hold pictures of the result sheet and do nothing else with it regarding the election summation of votes.

As long as results are manipulated by the actual voting or the actual entry into the result sheet of the respective polling units, then it has escaped the scrutiny of having a server record of the results.

Only results that are manipulated during collation at the wards or LGA or State Collation Centers can be defeated by the irev server, since the scores will not add up to what each polling unit already scanned for upload on irev.

Typical case of garbage in garbage out.

Imagine a supermarket where they write receipts, scan and upload to the server, or a bank where you fill in deposit/withdrawal teller and the cashier scan the teller and upload to the server, instead of keying in the raw data for easy processing. It is not nonsense.

It is a server storage that you and me from any part of the world can remotely access to check the pollin unit results we might be interested in.

Parties can also make reference to it to challenge the legally declared scores if it does not tally with the result sheets on the server.

I agree that keying in results which then tally up to the final numbers would have been ideal and prompt in decide who wins, but you can never rule out manipulation in what is keyed in, not to talk about data hacking to minipulate scores on a large scale to give a result that does not tally with the physical votes cast.

And that is why results are manually collated and manually declared.

If you then have a challenge to those results manually declared, go to the server and make use of the records uploaded at each polling unit.

irev is not to declare who is winner or loser, or who is leading or lagging.

It is just a server where the result sheets are scanned to for reference sake.

It does not tally result.
