Gaming for about 4 hours on redmi note 8 pro

WiFi and Bluetooth scanning has always been disabled,the draining issue is giving me concern,am not a heavy user just social media stuff and browsing

delete media files on your phone(movies,music)just back them up somewhere else and see if the problem persists.i once had severe battery drain and overheating when i used a note 5 ai only to find out that one of my media files(sai k anime) was the cause and once i deleted everything went back to normal

u can change it to the pill shape gesture navigation if u're on Android 9 but no full screen gestures until u get the Android 10 update

Interested because I'm a gamer. Waiting for ps5 but my phone would suffer before then.

My current phone handles PUBG, pes2020 and COD mobile moderately well but lately, some thin annoying lines flash when I do anything graphic intensive. I want to replace it.

it handles games like a charm compared to my redmi note 5.u cant get a better midrange phone for gaming (unless u get the Chinese version of Huawei's honor 9x with its kirin 810 soc)

yeah,WhatsApp,chrome,movies,YouTube so maybe somewhere btw light and heavy cuz I didn't game with it.yes it does have dark mode but I think it'll be more useful once it gets miui cuz then u can schedule it

y is Huawei keeping the Kirin 810 China exclusive even as it is more powerful than the sd 730 and mtk g90.its like they are not trying to compete in the midrange segment outside their home market

not really cuz the A3 has a 720+ display and the 8 has a 1080+ display while the 8 pro has a 1080+ display with HDR support

The redmi note 8 pro is by far the better phone. The oppo a9 specs are identical to Xiaomi's mi A3 which is about 20k cheaper than the oppo a9 if u get it from local stores and as much as 40k cheaper if u get it from jumia

It seems to be a really good game with full voice acting but I don't know how long it is.

Only con so far is the screen recorder app video quality can't go higher than 4mbs when on my redmi note 5 it could go higher hopefully an update fixes the issue

for me yes,the improvement is drastic(as expected).though i've handled a redmi note 7 for about a day and d difference is still clear.the battlechaser game was playing at 30-60 FPS depending on if u were in the overworld or in timed battles with d weather conditions also affecting FPS(this was at 100% graphics),meanwhile the note 7 was playable at 50% and my note 5 was struggling/stuttering at that 50%

Hardware-side if they give you fm radio then forget about NFC, and vice-versa. Also, their USB-typeC has no display-out so it's useless for media output, basically usb 2.0 speeds in a type C container.
And many other things, but that's already enough to irritate person after a while.
Software-side, until MIUI 11, there's been no serious improvement in the stock ROM. Ordinary wifi screen casting na war, which is a bummer since it is the only way to get your display mirrored externally.
Now compare with Samsung that has always had NFC, FM radio, USB C 3.1 Display-out. Then look at their one ui, Dex( plus LinuxOnDex) is just great. You have to use it to understand.

I'm talking about flagships from both OEMs here so you can see Samsung blows xiaomi out of the water. I can live with the hardware limitations if they put more imagination into software development, that's my point.

xiaomi's blackshark 2,asus rog phone 2, Huawei's mate x and many android phones along with Samsung's flagship have this display out function u're looking for.i guess its a matter of picking ur choice
