Did you check for mkv files on the phone memory? It's possible you have some there.

yeah checked and renamed everything,i think the problem is from the last software upadte or a bug somewhere.as i am now i am trying to google how to manually flah rom though am just confused by everything i am seeing

I experienced this same issue for a while before i found the solution. It turned out the mkv file i had was making media server to always scan the phone because media server isn't compatible with mkv files. I located the mkv file on my sd card like village people and that was when i found out my sd card was broken and i couldn't delete anything, i couldn't even format the sd card. I simply moved my files to the phone memory and trashed the card. Now my 2 year old note 4x is back to life, i go a whole day without charging cos i am on wifi, on 4G phone network i only charge it once a day at night.
Just google MIUI ISSUE WITH MEDIA SERVER AND MKV FILES and you are good to go, i hope it helps.

The device is a new one and I've used both its charger and another charger of similar volt (original follow come charger of an INFINIX device) but yet still persists. The charging port charges very well

maybe its the current update cuz mine has been experiencing heating and battery drain(especially with a mem card). currently on android 10.2.2.0 global version

last update was just b4 i went to camp and in camp i hardly used my phone so for the most part i did not even notice anything about d last update

Does anyone have this remote directory in their file manager when they transfer files, cus since i've been seeing it my mem card has been heating up my phone and eating my battery to the extent that i dont even have 1 in my phone now (redmi note 5)

performance is simmilar btw both devices, batter life-note 7, screen quality-note 7,battery life- note 7, camera- note 7,price- x5(3gb 32 is about 45k on jumia and 4gb 64 is about 53k on jumia)

You are not getting it. Note 7 pro is not for Nigeria market. There is no global ROM. Only Chinese ROM and can only be ordered

its performance is comparable to the 675 graphics wise while its cpu performance is better than the 660 but not as good as good as the 675(in single core performance) plus it has a pop up camera so an actual full screen display but yes, bringing the realme 3 with the same p70 but at the redmi note 7 price and the 3 pro with a sd 710 for about the same price as the note 7 pro(though slightly cheaper) would be better options for the Nigerian market

Mtn snd airtel basically killed their night plans,of course the next best option is glo even if its freaking slow at times

pubg and fornite are both console and pc games but mobile version

fortnite on mobile is the same as the pc and console games and it supports crossplay,plus if u have any apple device with their a12-a12x processor (from the 400$ ipad mini 5 to the 1000$ ipad pro 12) u can play the game at high settings at 60fps(android is supposed to get this update eventually) with full gamepad support

nintendo switch with a 2015 android soc has zelda bow,doom,wolfenstein,hellblade,the new mortal Kombat.our phones are more powerful than u think but the fact that premium games don't sell well on mobile,most people don't have gamepads plus no standard for gamepad support(e.g one gamepad might work on one game but might not work on another bcoz it supports a different gamepad) and p2w games make the most money plus software updates always breaking games mean we are unlikely to get any aaa console games on mobile

huawei y9 is sold officially in naija so it should come with a warranty at least,xiaomi is expected to officially enter Nigeria ending of this month but we dont know what devices they will be launching

Really starting to like this Nokia X5 due to the frequent mentions and reference the device is getting...my only ish is the ba3....i know it's processor optimizes it well enough to last..but being a heavy user( not a gamer tho..use to be) i still kinda prefer a 4000 mah ba3...like those in infinix/tecno (sorry for mentioning those devices )Although those phones are not as fast as the X5 i think their processor optimizes the ba3 well enuf for the 4000mah to last longer than a 3060mah in X5....I want an honest opinion from someone with experience on both a 4000mah phone and the current nokia X5....Does the Nokia X5 last as long as lets say infinix hot S3-X..with a 4000mah??....

its much more powerful than my redmi note 5 but battery life is between 5-7hrs depending on usage while on d redmi note 5 its between 7-10+ hrs depending on ur usage

For dis reason alone, I can never regret or feel bad dat I got my 5.1plus 73k even though some others are getting somtin similar for 48k. I had d two options before me , infact I was even told severally, like what u guys are doing now dat both phones are same.. still I went for d 5.1plus which I'm really enjoying with my original follow come Nokia earpiece now . hehehe

your 73k gets u some extra bands that the chinese version doesn't cover.plus i guess depending on where u get it from it should come with a warranty so i guess it all depends on a persons budget in deciding if they should get the x5 or 5.1plus
