I use gesture navigation. I also know about the bottom left or right gesture launch for GA. But the issue I had was GA launching on its own randomly without prior command or gesture.

ok, then am not sure what's going on either. Maybe try holding down the power button for 15seconds for a forced reboot and see what happens after that

if you've heard of games like dark souls or sekiro for ps4, then Pascal's wager is an attempt (a successful one) at that genre for mobile. It's on playstore,not an emulated game

do u use gesture navigation or the classic android one? Maybe u're swiping up from the bottom-left or right of ur phone without realising, as that's how you trigger assistant when using gesture navigation.

btw 25-30 fps for res evil, zelda was basically unplayable though that youtuber got it working so probably a settings issue and the monster hunter(can't remember which one) wasn't playable either. I use redmi note 8 pro(mtk helio g90t).

Do u like 3ds games cuz citra is way more optimized for Snapdragon phones and doesn't work well with mediatek devices.

I agree psp games are really great. In terms of content, the only downside is the graphics which are outdated.

nah, i tried zelda once but it wasn't smooth,but res4 was playable (i didn't do any settings though). What chip does your phone use, cuz apparently most emulators are better optimized for Qualcomms Snapdragon. You can check this tech utopia guy channel, he does a lot of emulation testing

I think SWAT or Tom clancy rainbows on psp is a better alternative to the game you mentioned

thought you said you liked war and strategy. If only apple arcade were not hogging games for themselves i would have been recommending games like samurai jack battle through time,the pathless(upcoming) and more. At the very least DMC is coming, though nobody knows how they will monetize it, put genshin impact on your wishlist-end of this month it'll be out . You might also like dark raider(maybe). I don't really emulate much, but the quality of most psp game, surpasses 90% of android games because those games were built as premium only,high budget offerings (same can be said for most emulators and their games like Dolphin and the ps2 emulator)

He says new xiaomi phones don't connect to wireless gaming devices (e.g gaming pad) is this a lie or is he telling the truth?

i use both an ipega and ps4 controller with my redmi note 8 pro. Maybe your friend has an old console pad bcoz the first ps4 and xbox one controllers didn't have support for mobile devices but sony and Microsoft later changed that with new models,and if it's a ps3 pad,those have never worked with any mobile device b4 unless you root them.

So I downloaded pascal wager. I must confess the graphics is amazing and the controls are good. The game requires patience because you start with just limited power. You need Internet for the game to load then you can turn it off. The game will update to the latest version, I downloaded mine just 1.9gb but it downloaded updates of over 500mb and now my game is over 2.5gb.

The only reason Samsung still does the Note is just because of the S pen not because it is still a phablet.

But in all seriousness,most phones nowadays are phablets,if anything phone manufacturers need to return to smaller sizes.personally i thought the 6inch display of the note 5 series was the perfect balance between being big enough for media consumption and small enough for most hands and i can only just imagine those 6inch screen sizes we got with the small bezels of current phones.

yeah,my own guess too is with the note series being similar to the redmi 10x series but xiaomi might swap amoled for an high refresh led,but only time will tell.

Everybody's been so focused on this note 8 argument that they've missed the fact that redmi k30 ultra isn't leaving China even under another of xiaomi's sub-brand,so no poco f2 ultra. All that remains is to see if it will be dimensity 1000 or 820 for redmi note 10 pro,high refresh rate or not, amoled or lcd

Funny thing is that after all the delay when the update is finally released it will still have bugs. Same thing they did with RN8 Pro, Chinese ROM received Android 10 around march but Global ROM didn't receive until June and when the update finally came for Global ROM there was issue with Auto Brightness and low volume during calls so what was the essence of the delay? Las las all of us go dey alright.

did u notice these bugs on your note 8 pro? I never had them on mine. Bug to to honest there can never be a 100% but free update,EVER!!. Even iPhones and pixel phones have had updates that brick devices and more.There's just no way to account for millions of devices but beta testing and wave updates at least help reduce the problems or help them find and fix bugs much more quickly.

that's the only obstacle there,but if one can subscribe to play online games like pubg and the rest considering the fact that they are "cheap mobile games" including the data used in downloading plus data used in updating the game every twice in a month,one can overlook the data cost of cloud gaming because number one...you don't have to download it,number two...you won't be updating the game every now and then,three...you are getting access to "PREMIUM GAMES", games meant for Consoles & PCs free on mobile (subscribe once for a month and get access to the games available) and number 4...you don't need to waste money and time upgrading your phone to catch up with the cloud gaming requirements to play Console or PC alike games unlike console and pc gamers who do such very often (though I haven't checked it's requirements for mobile yet).

guy, i think the data cost for streaming games is much more higher compared to simply playing online games like pubg that are physically stored on your device memory. That's almost 1gb per hour @ even 720p,plus let's not forget that data speed in Nigeria isn't always stable and when don't know when 5g will reach here, especially that millimetre-wave own that's still not super strong in terms of signal but can be ridiculously fast if you "manage" to get signal in more developed countries and i don't think wifi 6 or whatever is even in Nigeria yet!

Anyone who have upgraded from redmi note 5 Pro to note 8 pro here please? How's the experience so far?

big jump in speed,better camera's, slightly larger screen better for media consumption,similar battery life, smaller bezels.The only thing you'll probably miss is the metal build of the note 5 compared to plastic and glass on the 8 pro, though this opinion is subjective
