amodu:I find it difficult to believe anyone with a proper education would mix any of those up. |
Nauseous also means to be affected with nausea, so one can actually say "I feel nauseous".
|
spiritfada:And here I am, wondering when they started "melting" injustice to people. |
Do you mean "Crime Busting", @OP? |
Since when did internet fraud (yahoo-yahoo) become a job, bikonu? |
What's the possibility that it's 10 human beings (or at least some) named fish? I mean, there was nothing specifying that they were actual fish. Just throwing this in there for consideration. I mean, by this consideration, it's possible that some could get out of the tank and still live if they are actually human beings. And if they are human beings, then of course, they can drown in water. The other one that died without drowning could have died of an unrelated cause. However, even if they are human, the riddle says some swam away, not got out of the tank. So by this reasoning all of them should still be in the tank. Hmmmmm....... |
This lady is just boss ![]()

It's called a kilt. Stylish on a Scot. Ridiculous on a Nigerian. |
Dude, there's nowhere it's being reported that Benitez has been sacked. Where did you get your news from? And mods, how did this get to the fp without being verified? |
Why is this Jesus still an issue for goodness sakes? |
allthingsgood:Return the...... did you READ the article at all? Now here is someone whose certificate should be questioned. |
Rossikk:But even your 'Jesus' has the same kind of bia-bia |
HighPhar0ah:Owwwkaaaayyyy..... i'm confused. What you wrote there went from Akwa Ibom to Cape Town in three lines. I mean, on one hand, not bad points. But on another, you really don't have proof he isn't doing other "christian" things asides building the statue. And then you're swinging at Nigerian artists? Really? We may not have Michelangelos or Da Vincis or Donatellos but Nigeria today DOES have loads of talented artists. You may want to stop comparing commercial art with commissioned art. |
BornSad:Course not. I mean, I love reading but by the second line of that, I felt my brain would feel like watery custard if I read it all through. |
nwakaibeya1:Now this is what you call taking it personal. |
"premarital sexual relations before marriage" Which is it; premarital sexual relations or sexual relations before marriage? I just care about the English here. Or is it possible to engage in premarital sexual relations with the same person after marriage? |
Quick question to the lawyers in the house: can you charge someone to court for "murder by charm"? |
Isn't it weird how people that have been part of the country's failures suddenly turn social commentators once they're out of the corridors of power? There are lots of clean fingers that should have typed that statement. #justsaying |
Well well well. Never knew the day would come that I would see Santa in drag. |
We have one or two piece of advice that we want to give him if he can send emissaries to us or invite us to Aso Rock. This part just got me . Can't they just, I dunno, fly there? |
Terrible reportage. And here I was, thinking the shipment was owned by the Federal Government or Thailand had sent soldiers to storm our borders to seize ivory. What kind of a headline is that? The shipment was illegal and originated from Nigeria. Doesn't mean it was shipped by the Federal Republic Of Nigeria. So why say Thailand seized ivory from Nigeria? |
She is certainly the biggest female stainless steel in Nigeria. |
SIRmuel86:Wrong place to spread your mat. Very pointless thread. |
Interesting..... But if this our young lady knew about this all this while, how come she hasn't said anything to the EFCC since? Or at least the media. It's npt like the PDP government that's being probed now is still in power so she could have at least blown the whistle when Linda bought her 550m home. Really, why wait till now? ![]() |
For one, that you saw such magazines being sold on the premises of a big RCCG event doesn't mean they were published or endorsed by the RCCG. I'm not a member of the church but we know Nigerians have a penchant for turning any large event into an avenue to make money. Besides, we should by now be familiar with how Nigerians have taken this sensationalism thing to a whole new level going as far as crossing into the territory of telling blatant lies just to sell copies or get hits. I think it's about time people start sueing more for libel. Maybe some people would think twice before they just write absolute nonsense and defame other people just so they can make money. |
darmys:And he got the attention he was looking for! Roll out the red carpet! Drum roll, please. Don Jazzy has replied him. Now he can die a happy man. awwww. |
Olorun oba o. Since when did tuface become the father of the poor? Or the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria? Or even a local government councillor? See unwarranted hate o. Tuface is a private individual and has the choice to do whatever he wants with his money. What have you done to help the poor in your hood, by the way? |
Lol, how come EFCC is questioning The Man, when he is Government? |
faites:Lol. My dear, the problem is not with the volume per se. The problem is with the quality. Most of the newcomers, let's face it, CAN'T BLOG! Most of them don't know the first thing about blogging, aren't patient enough to learn and give up after one week if they don't get adsense approval or a bank alert. The Linda Ikeji Syndrome is real, I tell you. And e no dey show for face. |
Blogging Really Isn't That Profitable In Nigeria: For all the blogs we have in Nigeria, you would think we have a small pantheon of super rich bloggers. Yet ask most bloggers who their blogging role model is and only one name comes up; Linda Ikeji. Does it mean she's the only really good blogger in Nigeria? Nope. Far from. There are lots of Nigerian bloggers who are amazing in their own way in their own niches. The fact is just that she's one of the few that have made something out of blogging. Most of the other rich or semi-rich bloggers either have day jobs or business that they do while they blog on the side - and it's those jobs and businesses that bring in the big bucks for most of them, not the blogging. You might just want to keep that in mind. |
You Don't Take It Seriously Enough: Show of hands - how many people are willing to spend money on their blog to keep it going, even when you're not getting hits? Another show of hands - how many people have ever spent money on their blog? Fact is, for those who hope to make money from blogging, then you have to take it as seriously as any other business and devote your time, energy AND MONEY to ensuring your blog succeeds. Too many Nigerians think "oh, I can start a blog on Blogger or Wordpress and start making millions". It doesn't work like that. Like any business, a commercial blog is an investment. You put little into it, you get little out of it. If you're an entertainment blogger and you're not willing to stay up at night to get the latest breaking news (because, let's face it, most news breaks while the world sleeps) so you can be one of the first to blog about it, then you probably aren't taking blogging seriously enough. And if you don't take your blogging seriously, nobody will. You Follow An Already Bloated Trend: I think I can make bold to say that of every ten new Nigerian blogs, at least half are entertainment/celebrity/gossip/everything blogs a la Linda Ikeji's blog. That niche is already over-saturated. If you'll make any success in it, you'll have to be different in a very remarkable way. Unfortunately, most Nigerian bloggers are not different. Or remarkable. The fact is that, Nigerians know they'll most likely get all the latest - and authentic - celebrity an entertainment news on Linda Ikeji's blog. The chances they'll come looking for yours is practically minute - especially when you ALSO get your news from Linda Ikeji's blog. IF you want to succeed as a Nigerian blogger, you will need to be different and stand out - something most Nigerian bloggers aren't. |
