Anyone with senses knows that Amechie is not contesting Presidential election despite the fact that he has the right to do so. Do the maths! Calculate how Jonathan going to get enough delegates at the PDP convention because all the Northern Governors aren't going to release their delegates to him. Prepare your mind for Jonathan's defeat because he has offended many of him party's members and many in the nation. He won't be nominated for Presidency by PDP again.

Which constitution? The PDP constitution does not allow any and every person to contest. That would be anarchy. Young man grow up, there can only be one candidate from the SS in PDP. Amaechi wants to replace GEJ as that candidate. Even you in the midst of your delusion must realize that it can't happen.

payless: Let me ask this question: does Amechie have the right to contest in PDP Presidential primary or not? The Constitution allows him or anyone else to contest. There is nothing like loyalty in politics. He does not need to go to ACN, CPC or APC. He is PDP member and he does have the right to contest. All Jonathan needs to do is to bring him closer and talk to him instead of doing braggados all over the place. Jonathan shouldn't be jittery if he believes he has discharged his duties dilligently and honestly. His results should speak for him.

We have a leader already, if Amaechi does not like it he is free to join ACN, but to stay and undermine "the boss" can't be allowed. I am telling you from close contacts and interractions. Amaechi fought to get into Rivers govt house but with the able support of Nyesom Wike who was his back bone and who is his achilles heel. His stron will might end up being his downfall o because he's fond of throwing stones while in his glass house.
PS ; that doesn't take away the good works he has done in Rivers state especially in the healthcare sector and education (although people say his contract mostly favor his Ikwerre ethnic group)
