Business / GTB Bank And Their Checking Balance Rule by tijehi(f): 10:11am On Jul 16, 2010
I have three accounts with GTB, a current , savings and sub savings. I've current and savings accounts on my Master Naira card and internet banking service, but i declined including my sub-savings account on both services. My reason was to avoid the current wave of crime that has to do with bank customers accounts been debited without authorization from the customer especially via ATM machines and the Internet. Thus, my sub-savings is my own special vault where no fast technology can touch. For any transaction on that account means me going to the bank.

This morning, I went to GTB bank to check the balance on that particular account, only for the customer service staff to tell me that she couldnt check for me, that i need to do so with my master naira card or use the net, i told her that the account was not on those services, she suggested i add it, i said no, that i had my reasons, she said she was sorry that she couldnt check my balance for me, that its a new rule in the bank.

Now, why would GTBank enforce such rules on their customers? I am a customer, i can make decisions concerning my account as far as its not against banking ethics or illegal. It is so painful. Anyways I hope they rescind their military-like decision, 'cus with such decisions they are bound to loose a lot of their customers.

Leave her alone. Lots of mistakes have been committed we agree, but the man finally died, even if she manipulated the situation when her husband was alive and we are all angry, her husband is dead now, and no matter how greedy she was (or is), she is right now in deep mourning. That is a man she's being with for over 20years, the father of her children, even a stone-hearted person will be a bit affected by such demise. so please let the woman mourn her husband in peace.

just be careful of your utterances about religious Leader. The Pope has come under a lot of bashing lately. Know that when we come before the almighty on the judgement day, it will be all man for himself, not the Pope trying to convince God who should make heaven or not. The Priest who indulged in the abuse will be held responsible for their actions not Pope Benedict. Please let the man be.

My name is Jane White, and this is Diplomatic channel reporting from the White House. The 'BIG' and 'little' global actors are about to mount the world stage to once again flex their hegemonic muscles( opps, sorry, was supposed to say the 'BIG' actors are about flexing their hegemonic muscles over the little fry). We hear that the chipmunks (oh sorry, the little actors) have been 'BEGGING' that their name be removed from a certain list that has become their 'BANE' of existence as a nation. Anyways, BABA SUPERPOWER are considering DELETING the chipmunks from the deadly list based on the fact that they (BABA SUPERPOWER) have some MIGHTY MIGHTY investments in the chipmunks nation, and will not want anything like destruction of investment properties or kidnapping of citizens to jeopardise their inflow of Foreign Direct Investment profit, thus the ISSUE OF THE SINS OF ONE MAN CANNOT BE VISITED ON 150 MILLION CHIPMUNKERS will be looked into. Thank you

NYSC / Re: My NYSC Experience In Rivers State by tijehi(f): 7:52am On Oct 08, 2009
I served in Port harcourt, Rivers State. The NYSC camp is no more in Ndele, but now in Nonwa Gbam, Tai Local Govt Area.  It was one horrible experience. Alot of corp members left, they could not manage the meanness of the officials, the state of the camp and the harsh attitude of the majority of the people (especially in port harcourt city). kai, the people were not welcoming at all. they told us to our face that we worked our posting to Rivers State because of their oil. they exploited corp members in every way they could. if u go to the market wearing your uniform, they would hike the prices of their commodities, it happened to me and my friends countless times. it was so frustrating. Then the big one was that the government gave directive that all corp members be posted to schools to teach (but not  corp members from their state). I wanted Lagos, i never wanted Port harcourt. so it was painful when they said we worked our way. And please all those people who say Lagos females are Promiscuous, should go to Rivers State and see where that word was coined from.

Politics / Re: Hilary Clinton Gets Cold Reception From The Federal Government. by tijehi(f): 12:03pm On Aug 12, 2009
A host country should be informed of any intending visit by a foreign diplomat. Fine Nigeria is corrupt, our government is not living up to
expectations, yes we have so much unscrupulous people at the helm of affairs, but this does not excuse what Hilary and her people did.
I'm not making any excuse for the kind of country we have today, but please, lets be truthful, its not as if we are the only corrupt nation in the world. What about the recent discoveries as regards corruption that has been uncovered in the U.S. in recent times (since the recession hit them hard).
Okay, they made excuses for not informing FG of her intending visit based on security reasons. The Nigeria government might not be what we desire it to be, but I know that as per security concernin a top diplomat like Hilary, FG would have really set up a tight one around her.
It is wrong what the American emabssy did by not informing FG, I think they should apologise.
And for all you haters of your own country, Nigeria can become better today, tomorrow or in the near future.

America will not try such with Libya.

Yar'adua is an excuse for someone who has being in the academics for a long time. You dont go on the international stage and blab gibberish, when you know it is already occupied with sopisticated actors.

Yes, he doesnt recognise Kosovo, of course how will he when hes totally blind to everything around him, including the anarchy that is about to take place in his 'VERY RECOGNISED COUNTRY-------NIGERIA'

Yar'adua, Please since revolution never take place for this our country, since we never become failed state totally (wey we don dey near sha), we dey plead with all our might and mouth, abeg next time anyone seek your opinion outside the shores of this country, tell the person say you still dey discuss the issues(s) with your advices(that is to say never give a direct answer). You fit come home come blab, no le le, we go dig am as we dey do. BUT PLEASE STOP EMBARASSING US.

180grand per session?

How will widowed mama peter (with her little provision store) pay peters tuition?

How will Mr. Tayo Adigun (a driver with a state ministry) pay his sons, Bayo and Dayo's tuition?

How will Osas (a cash teller in a bank), the first son of a family of 5 (obviously), with two younger ones in tetiary institution cope?

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAADUAAAAAAAAAAAA.
YOU ARE EVIL, SURROUNDED BY EVIL ADVISERS.

You and your cohorts can afford to send your kids to Havard, Yale, Princeton, Oxford etc. But you will not give us the Masses the opportunity to send our kids to Unilag, U.I, ABU, Uniben, OAU, UNAD etc

Yaradua, just be ready for the repercussions of your inane decision(s).

I no blame you. maybe your thinking capability is being affected by your terminal disease. You puddle of shit. Insensitive piece of rag.
