ChrisKels:It's actually the opposite though. It means the stakes are now higher and any mediocre performance means these guys will be replaced quickly with better players because the financial ability to do so is now there. When man city was bought then. The mediocre players in the team were the first casualty. It was few players who stepped up E.g Kompany who participated in the project. So they need to step up their game too |
BlueAngel444:Likes say Reece James too go last for there. He will just collect his ceremonial 2-3 caps and that's all. The three contenders for the England RB spot are Walker, Arnold and Trippier. The rest are just training and friendly matches material. AWB is a smart guy and good thing that he has good advisors. It's not like the guys he's competing with are old who will retire soon. They are his age mates and they will be there for a very long time. |
iamoyindamola:if the organisation doesn't want a worker, the pay him off and terminate their appointment according to the law binding them together, which is the employment contract. It's not hard na. But they are reeling up emotion which has nothing to do with business ![]() |
iamoyindamola:Then it's not Ozil fault then. If you were Ozil, will you accept it? I'm 100% sure if they pay him off this morning, Ozil will pack his bag and go to Saudi before evening No time to check time |
mostob:It doesn't sound right. Arsenal can terminate his contract by paying him off with amount he's supposed to earn during the remainder of his contract. It's the same way they do for sacked coaches. They pay them their remaining wages for the duration of their contract. Arsenal can do that any time. So I doubt if they've even offered to pay him off. They don't even need Ozil consent to terminate his contract, as long as the club follows the termination by paying his remaining wages into his account. |
All of Una wey dey always abuse Rohr of always sticking to the same team, you can see what too many changes can cause. Disjointed play will be the result. Lol |
andrewbaba44:Abeg leave them make them dey talk. One thing is sure, they will definitely be seeing Onuachu face wella in the national team, so they better get used to that face ![]() Onuachu style can be an asset for the team and no sensible coach will drop him. Good thing is that Rohr is not stupid , that is why he's playing Onuachu at every opportunity , so his team mates can get used to him and know how to play with him. Cos whether we like it or not, there are some matches in the future that we will need cross and insha'Allah to win, especially against a team you can't break down or a superior opponent. So it's better that Rohr is playing him now , so the team will get used to the style should in case we need it. |

The Iwobi disrespect on this thread should die here today abeg. |
dammywapes:Yeah. Just for a year. I think it was for a world cup then. It doesn't work that way. You can't give someone a job a expect him to transform the team in I year. Even in club football where the coaches spend a lot of time together with the players sef, it doesn't work, let alone National team that they will only meet less than 15 times in the whole year. Haba. Even a Guardiola won't do shit in that time frame |
So England won today 3-0. Well , I'm not surprised. They usually look like a world class team during Friendly matches and Qualifiers, beating everyone including though teams. But when it gets to competition proper, even teams like Wales or Bulgaria that they beat in friendlies and Qualifiers will turn to Brazil for them and they start playing shit. Rinse and repeat ![]() |
ennyjay72:Someone have said it in the super eagles thread that most African countries, especially the top ones with better players are short changing themselves by appointing mediocre coaches for their national teams. And I tend to agree. I mean, look at that Senegal team Should be making quarter finals in world cup as a worst outcome, look at the golden drogba generation of ivory coast. If an European nation had what ivory coast had then, they would have at least played a semi finals big the world cup in a worst case scenario. But African FA will be appointing coaches whose Past jobs was coaching Asec Mimosa, or failed European coaches to come and coach a team of world class players consisting of Yaya Toure, Drogba, Kolo Toure, zokora, Gervinho in his prime and the likes |
MRTA7:People keep clamouring for this guy, but the werey kept making it easy for Ole to start his Scandinavian gay partner because he's always getting injured ![]() |
Nezzjnr:At this point , I think most people don't give a f*k about him leaving or staying. If we start winning games, it was never up to him and if we continue to loose it was not up to him. Na Ole I dey hold. |
johnstar:Yea, let's erase it from history books then. |
TheGoodJoe:can you imagine him saying Ndidi is over priced. I no go lie, Ndidi has really suffered in the hands of Nigerian fans, cos they are the ones always talking shit about him, meanwhile the rest of the footballing world see him as world class DM. May be if Ndidis name is Ndidinho, they will regard him sha ![]() |
odizeey:Exactly. If I'm not a glory hunter , I'll probably be an Aston Villa fans, and be contented with surviving relegation every season ![]() |
SyIvalord:Yea , we are glory hunters. You think the likes of Man United, Real Madrid, Barca, etc became elite clubs with millions of fans worldwide by just finishing top 4 and qualifying for UCL? Why do you think the likes of Barca or Madrid or Juve sack their coaches every now and then if they didn't bring Glories for their glory hunter fans who will definitely not be happy about not being able to hunt any glory? If I'm not a glory hunter, I'm sure their are clubs like Burnley available to support. You yourself if you are not a glory hunter, you'll be a Brighton supporter by now Rubbish. |
SyIvalord:Van gaal gave us FA cup. Moyes is not an elite coach. He's a midtable team coach who we shouldn't have hired in the first place. Hiring him and Ole should never have happened. |
BlueAngel444:No be here we dey when Man city beat Una 6-0 without red card about two seasons ago. Th@t same season , ordinary Bournemouth back Una 4-0 without red card too. Oga , you live in a glass house, stop throwing stones. |
LostMyZeal:"Going back to the drawing board" and "Rebuilding" are two scam statements. There is nothing like Rebuilding. If a coach doesn't meet targets of winning leagues or trophies or at least get close, sack such a coach and move on. The most successful clubs we have presently are all doing it. If hansi Flick starts f*king up at Bayern, Bayern will still sack him and employ another person , not minding the fact that the guy gave them a treble last season. All these DNA shit Ole is just talking about is a scam by the werey to stay longer at the job to buy himself more time and may be get lucky along the line to win a trophy and use Man utd to build CV. The f*Ker has currently run out of ideas. If Man utd had employed another seasoned coach after sacking Mourinho then, may be that one would have delivered us a league or another trophy at least along the line But they decided to employ a PE teacher all in the name of scam Rebuilding and DNA The likes of Barca, Juve, Madrid, etc will always hire and fire till thy kingdom come, and that doesn't mean that they don't have a philosophy or goal. |
Nuel4:I feel it's just a narrative used by some American business men who are into renewable energy products. It's a means to sell their products, forgetting and making money. Some business men are currently making fortunes everyday from this propaganda. The only true way to fight global warming is by abandoning technology and living like cavemen. Any proposed solution apart from this is just political bullshit NB: Climate change and global warming is real, but there is nothing we can do about it. May be it's just nature's way of resetting. Afterall, a lot of species on the planet have come and gone, the only constant here is the planet |
mank1234:No sir. The multiplicity factor is the competition. Not confederation |
mank1234:It doesn't work that way bro. It's the position of the team on the FIFA ranking that determines how much point you get. |
Expert17:You dey mind them. That is how extremists are born. When you see a superior argument or reasons, it's only logical to change one's initial stance |
nairalandankrah: ![]() For all we know, he could be typing from a one room apartment somewhere in Ikorodu |
jargooflife912:The fact that Victor gave him an L , after almost swearing that he won't even make the Academy of championship teams. Now the guy is in one of the best teams in Italy. ![]() |
MaziAlaye:The f*Ker is obviously a United fan ![]() |
iamoyindamola:May be it's their way if telling Athletico Madrid "F*k you " for not negotiating ![]() |
nelszx:Exactly, once he became older and he's lost some of his speed, he becomes painful to watch. |
Subzero047:Musa case is very disappointing though. At his age, nigga can't even make a decent cross as a winger, and he's been playing for a decade now |
