e go reach our turn to play Norwich now, Ole will now make Norwich look like prime Ac Milan and we will struggle to beat them 2-1 or 3-2 after coming back from 1 goal down, with Ronaldo scoring the winner. Gary Neville will now come and defend his mate by blaming the players or telling us how Pogba wasn't running at 90mph, that's why we struggle. Idiotic failures Make them sack OLe abeg. |
Joezinho:Chai. That Man Selling your best player for non footballing reasons when they can be easily resolved. Keane might be a crazy guy, but I have a feeling that he's not entirely at fault when he had issues with sir Alex which led to him leaving eventually. I'm sure Sir Alex too get him own for hand ![]() It just happened that Keane is one of those crazy guys that don't tolerate shit from people no matter who those people are. I guess that's the human side of Sir Alex. He's not perfect so I'll just let it pass. Most of our real life heroes have one or two ugly dark side to their personalities. We will just have to make do with their good sides |
FirstbornWds:You clearly don't know how the League coefficient rankings are done. So I'll just stop engaging you at this point |
Joezinho:But Ferguson is useless sha. Why did he sell him? After reading about Some of his decisions regarding player sales and Aquisitions Post 1999 treble , I had to believe that he was the main reason why we didn't win at least 2 more UCL trophies between 1999 and 2008. It was no coincidence that his decisions was why we ended up having defensive problems within those periods. And he crowned it all with the Glazers in 2005. |
FirstbornWds:Even if it's true. I hope you know that the coefficient ranking us usually calculated using performance in European competitions by clubs from the leagues. Not because PsG signed Messi? You better calm down |
Oasis007:This even makes me to respect Bruno more. Lol. Bruno is a proper professional. Dude just respects his coach , even though he knows deep down the coach is shit. But he doesn't mind and still follows his instructions. |
Illimitable:I stopped taking this post seriously the moment you rated Ferdinand above Vidic. ![]() |
Oasis007:Rash will be fine. He ran too much today. Something he hasn't done for 3 months. It's normal for him to be fatigued like that. If you play football and stopped for like 6 months and you wake up one day and play. You won't like yourself for like a week because your leg will be practically useless after the intense work out. Rashford playing at this intensity for the first time in 2-3 months will make him have dead leg. But after one or two matches like this, he'll be fine. |
patrickmuf:Are you minding those people that like to blame players everytime? The same Lampard almost sold Kante, a two time EPL winner and their best CM for the past 3 years because the foolish coach believed the guy was finished. |
popizaino:Lucky for Chelsea fans, the people that run your club are one of the most objective and ruthless decision makers in football administration. They don't do sentiments and nostalgia, so they won't be convinced into bringing back an unproductive Hazard. Their success in turning Chelsea into the most successful club in the 2000s was not because they were making sentimental decisions, but because they've always been ruthless in player and coaches hirings ![]() Honestly, as a man united fan, I'm jealous because I know that no club legend or media or anyone can influence them into making sentimental decisions like it is the case it Man united |
Danielnino00:Lol. How did you manage to forget about Startimes. They are also a credible competitor for the bidding |
devvy44:The guy even missed a penalty that day. ![]() |
GrammarNazi1:Funny enough. Messi had a penalty against Iceland and missed (not that he's new to missing crucial Penalties though) ![]() |
chloride6:Not when those ATM cards don't carry you legal name and it has different names on them. Then you become an object of suspicion and subsequently investigation I'm sure you can own thousands of ATM cards, as long as they are yours. And there is no law against that. |
patrickmuf:Exactly They don't have the players to cause problems. It's not a coincidence that half of them play for midtable teams. The few that plays for top teams are not exactly world beaters. So they can't produce world class performance in the final third in terms of initiative and individual brilliance that world class players will give you from time to time. Having world class players is a reason why France can be shit all game and still win games because they have players that can provide something out of nothing. |
patrickmuf:Exactly. Compared to other teams, they don't have an established goal scorer. And to add to their woes, they don't have a goal scoring midfielder as well. So they are left with the few goals that guys like Torres, Morata and Oyzarval guy scores once in a blue moon. All their midfielders can't score even if their lifes depend on it. The likes of Pedri, KOKe , Gavi, Busquets, Merino et Al are not goal scoring midfielders, they are just good at passing the ball around without causing damage the way a KDB, Bruno, Pogba, or Havertz for Germany will cause damage in terms of goal threat. In other words, they lack one or two world class players in midfield and Attack to make the work of the coach perfect. They are just the Brighton of national teams at the moment. good coach with beautiful football but lack the players that can give them the edge against the big boys who boast of quality players. |
andrewbaba44:Gervinho is a long standing member of the Ivory coast team. Who also has experience and tonnes of caps on his belt. He will always get invited by their coach as long as he's fit , available for selections and not retired from the team. He's like what Musa and Ighalo was before he retires from the team. No matter what anyone says, those two would always get invited as long as available and not retired no matter what anyone says. Don't compare Gervinho to Nwakaeme abeg. The circumstance for both of the aren't the same. |
TheGoodJoe:And that technic has somehow filtered into their women's team, with Barcelona women pioneering it. |
Surebaba01:Nothing wrong with long balls, as long as it's with intent and it finds it's target. It's a way if switching play very fast and it helps catch opponents unaware. Liverpool plays long balls every time, with Arnold and Van Dyke switching passes. Long balls are usually bad to the eyes if they are always played aimlessly with no one in particular just like we did yesterday |
Kog45:You don't have to be hot cake. Even worse coaches than Rohr won't accept this kind of treatment. Even some of our own home based coaches won't Rohr probably took the Nigerian Job personal and it's more than money to him. If we sack Rohr today, he'll get a lot of job offers in Africa within the next 3 to 6 months. Even some top west African team will hire him. He's not done badly with us, and he's CV so far is not bad. |
SenatePresdo:Nsukabag will just buy telegram . The guy is a demon. |
Ibime:Why if he has links to someone deep inside Saudi Govt that probably did him a favor, or what if himself has some top secret information he used to bargain his way out of the situation |
Ibime:You can buy your way out of anything. It only depends on the type of currency you have to offer and the value of it to whoever wants it. It is definitely not money, but top secret Intel might be used in exchange . The same USA that was releasing Talibans in their hundreds between last year and this year. It all depends in interest and what they really want from the person. it's not all black and white |
humility33:To be fair they won't play every game well. There will be games like this once in a while. Their ability to grind out results when they are not playing well is what will determine whether they are ready to win the scudetto |
Singapore1:Sterling far na. He won't reach Rashford Level. Rashford will resume mid October and will still outscore hum by seasons end. The guy just like falling down like idiot. He appears to be sh't because referees are no more penalizing contacts any more, he's now looking like a fool with those unnecessary falling down, because refs don't give a damn anymore |
maik99:True And a good number of the 19 opponents are the mid table / small teams. Even if you manage to beat the big boys, we aren't getting anywhere with those little points we will get from them compared to the small teams We got 4 points from City last season and it didn't even affect them one bit, that's because they got the points they need from those small teams which is enough to win the league or at least get you to over 85 points |
slimghost:The moment we start dispatching small teams is when we will be serious about winning league. That is where the points are. Sir Alex during his time usually loose against bug teams like Chelsea and Liverpool occasionally but he wins the league by beating the small teams silly. By the time Sir Alex drop point against any big team, it will become meaningless because the gap has been established already. That was why he had so many league titles. Any Season he lost the league by a fine margin was usually because of some bad games against some small teams were he dropped points unnecessarily , even if they lost to a big team, e.g the 2011/2012 season and the 2009/2010 |
Joezinho:We bought a world class defender and our defensive worse is still there. Who says we won't still be shitty if Ole gets a DM. All these points to Ole being a terrible coach. Our structure has always been the problem and not necessarily the personnel. It's impossible to have world class players in all positions. |
Joezinho:The defensively suspect talk sef, na cap. He won't be playing for Stoke or Burnley, he'll be playing for a big club like United, where his attacking output is needed more against teams that will play defensive throughout games. Na because of this kind of talk that made us end up with bums like Wan Bissaka and a McFred in midfield, yet we still conceed goals like water SMH |
Joezinho:Solskjaer is Like Buhari. They are very difficult to defend. Defend them today concerning an issue, by tomorrow, they will lower the bar even further with their incompetence |
Oasis007:You'll be surprised at how good this squad is, if only they get a competent gafar |
