Merimental:No mind the guy. He doesn't know, that politicians only fear the ban/sanction because all their life savings and investments is domiciled abroad, in which US have fingers in most of those countries where they stash their loots ![]() |
onegig:Even opposition party sef who could be the major culprit just like during Jonathan era are as confused as the govt. This is beyond political. This is people demanding real change. Not 2015 APC scam change |
Ikennablue:If this is true, the ApC that you and I know would have fished them out to public . They would even go further by chasing such people with DSS by now. Unfortunately, they can't pinpoint any one as the convener or sponsor. Even the opposition party sef hand no dey there because if it was work of opposition party, Femi Adesina would have let us know. . Even Opposition party sef is looking for the sponsors of the protest sef so that they can tag along, but none of them can find anything, because it doesn't exist This is a true protest from the Nigerian people in the real sense of it. Instead of the govt looking for who to give Ghana must go bag of money to, to quell the protest, why not just start by doing the right thing by meeting demands , not on paper but in action |
GOATandYAMtheory:You guys obviously don't get it Some of this guys have investments abroad. Any sanction on them by the US or visa ban will make them loose their loots. I hope you get it the picture now. |
Nezzjnr:Exactly. The only positive from his post Injury is that he's trying to influence games without necessarily running like a headless chicken, With time , he could evolve like Giggs and will still be able to play well whether he has the speed or not. |
Oasis007:Abeg Leave Rashford the future MP alone o. He's already building his support base for future Political career. All the kids he's advocating for today will be the ones to vote for him in future (10 years from now at least, when he kick starts his political career after retirement. Who knows , he could be the first black PM of Britain in future, if there is no one yet before that time. Infact I'm sure the major political parties in UK will be looking at him with one eye now, getting ready to pounce on him once he's ready. Think bro. ![]() |
Mrviktor:Alex Ferguson really did a number on our rivals That is why they are knocking the team wella when they are down, because when United start picking up again, they may not get another chance at it. Even Arsenal and Liverpool during worse moments no receive such hate. Sometimes , I go just read some comments on twitter about the club, and you will just see that, it's pure hate because what they spew is more than just banter. Any one who doesn't follow football will think Man utd is the worse team of the century when the start reading those things online. |
Unlimited22:Canada and SA are mates na. They can only qualify for world cup if they host it. ![]() |
MRTA7:I guess the board also felt they owe him a chance at redemption , since they didn't give him all his signing in the summer, which included Bruno. This time around will be different. If what happened last year happens again, he'll definitely be sacked because , he definitely has a team that can at least stay in top 4 , at worse case scenario even if he can't challenge for league. Anything less than that, his ass will be gone. |
chrisley024:It's not about average. Dalot is still a prospect. He didn't even get game time, so I don't know why people are slating him. The little time he got chances to play in the past, we all saw what he's capable of. Selling him to Everton will be a mistake. It's not the same as selling a washed up Rooney who we know cannot develop again cos he's past it. What Dalot needed was game time, he's still very good. Or do you guys think it was coincidence that Roma and AC Milan wanted him with a buy option? |
Ibime:A night that would be good, it is from afternoon that we usually know. While you are right, it doesn't take away the fact that they are building a team that can contend for any tittle going forward. They have build on their Euros and nation's leagues success and have even improved since then, because despite winning those trophies, they have improved in such a way that , they even play better than they did then. Before France won the world cup, we all saw progression. Making the Euro's final and loosing dye to the individual brilliance of Edgar of Portugal. And they improved from there. Look at the teams they beat enroute to the cup, you'll agree with me that they really worked for it and deserve the win. Portugal is going on a similar path. They have a perfect blend and mixture of youth and experience. My kinda dream team. ![]() |
Almajirihunter:It is because they are actually the best team presently. Balanced attack and very organized defense. Their defence is the best I've seen from an European nation in a long time after the 2006 Italian team. If another European team will win the next world cup, it's Portugal. The cam only be denied if a South American power house come to the party (Brazil majorly, Argentina is currently trash) |
Skimpledawg:I'm a United fan but I'll have to agree with you. It's audible to the deaf and clear to the blind. The shit started after lockdown resumption when he came back from injury. We thought it was because he wasn't fully fit as at then. But after few months, it's now obvious that nigga is gone. Whatever happens by next summer, Man utd will buy some towards anyway. So we go still manage am this season and hope he gets back to his best by the end of the season |
chrisley024:It's common sense bro. You don't strengthen your opponent in the league. It has been United's modus operandi since Fergie's era. Man utd don't sell to teams in the league, instead they buy other teams best players to even further weaken them. |
GloryIsaac:All this moves shows, Man utd are preparing for life after Solskjaer, so they are not selling some of these young prospects just because Solskjaer no Sabi use them. May be the next coach might use these guys. One of the reason they turned down a bid of 25m for James, despite the money could be used to augment their budget for Sancho. My verdict: This is probably Solskjaer last season at the club. Whatever happens, they might let him go after the end of the season |
Mrviktor:Dortmund really did us a favour by playing hardball with us. We could have had another 80million Magwaya on our hands ![]() |
odizeey:The looks on his face after that red card says it all. Man looks drained. Instead of OGS playing him every week, making him commit blunders, thereby adding to the backlash which is obviously getting to him.., he should rather drop him for one or two gane weeks, entirely from the squad for some self reflection, and bring him back later. Constantly playing him won't help him because the more shit he does, the more down he will keep going. Cos underneath that big frame if his, he's a softie guy judging by the way he allowed the recent events to get to him. |
Ibime:Man u has an option of a year extension though. So he's not a free agent by next year. |
BlueAngel444:Chelsea fans sef. His only competition is Grealish and Foden(when he returns) though Greenwood is a Striker/RW, Sancho is a winger too Greenwood and foden were dropped for what happend in Iceland , they are not even in the squad. How do u bench someone that is absent. |
Ibime:Thanks for the correction. Exactly how it is All this Client welfare talk is just BS. He's only after agent fees. The reason he was fighting Man utd for Pogba is because any potential sale means more cashing out , and not because he loves Pogba like a son ![]() |
Melvyn11:You mean Halaand wants a release clause in his contract? I highly doubt it. Release clause is mostly put by clubs, and some leagues also makes it compulsory, e.g. La Liga. That is why Barca usually put ridiculous release clauses in their player's contract. |
Ibime:The guy is a pest. He's the reason Halaand is not a Man United player. Halaands release clause was like 20m, the werey agent too was now demanding like up to 45m in agent fees taking the fees to up to 60m, for a player whose transfer fee was not up to 20m. ![]() Well , as per desperation and Ole wanting the guy badly , they agreed to pay the money. The werey was now trying to push his luck , and was demanding Man utd put a release clause of 80m in Halaand contract. I mean, who does that with a big club. Even Arsenal wey be selling club during Wenger Era no fit agree to a release clause in his contract. The werey wants to eat his cake and have it, because if Halaand blows, release clause will make it easier for him to leave the club. Raiola is useless. Walahi. |
komekn:Egypt and Saudi have strategic importance to the USA in the middle East. That is why they are providing military aid for them. They use the word "National security" to overrule their Leahy law concerning those two countries. Also, In the past, Nigeria don't always buy military stuff from USA sha, so we are not much of partners in that aspect in a long time now. Most if our major Military acquisition especially jets have always come from Europe and Russia. I think this Tucano deal will be our first major purchase from USA. So we don't have much history with them. |
BlueMann:Man utd is obviously catching up. At a faster rate if o must say. I'm impressed with their coach. The fact that the coach did well in her first two years with majorly 2nd rate players was what made the Man utd board to back her more this season , giving her more better players. It shows that they have confidence in her ability |
eph12:True sef |
eph12:And that was his best season lol. Even with all the Injury with Kane. His worst form go still give you more than that in a season. That is the hallmark of a world class out and out CF. Even Van gaal that bought him don't play him as a CF because he knows he's not. So Martial CF experiment is just what it is, an experiment. It won't take is anywhere in terms of competing for titles. |
KingTom:Like Rooney said, Sancho is not better than the front three we have. Infact they are all in the same class. what Man utd need is a world class CF in the class of Kane/Lewandowski that can bang in 25+ goals a season. Mr Martial can't take us to the promise land. He should be made to fight the LW spot with Rashford. |
BlueMann:I can say the same about Chelsea last season when they met. Chelsea Won by 1-0 with a penalty from diving. If you watch the match last season , you sef wey be Chelsea fan go stone the ref for the penalty ![]() So luck is part of the game. However, you can't beat Man utd with the way you beat Man city. Man city plays with arrogance and don't respect their opponents, thereby leaving space behind for you to hit them. |
larride:So in your infinite wisdom, we shouldn't protest EndSars because the system is corrupt. There's a Yoruba adage that says "If two trees fall on top each other, we usually remove the tree at the top before removing that at bottom" SARS is the one currently affecting us, and it is the one at the top, we move SARS first before we move to the one at the top , which is POLICE REFORMS |
Unlimited22:Exactly my brother It's not news that police are one of the most corrupt organisations in the world. Even countries with high standard and we'll funded police deal with them. At least regular police arrest actua petty l offenders and negotiate bribe with them, which by the way is not only a Nigerian thing. But when you have a certain police unit (SARS) who are meant to prevent violent crimes, abandon their duties and start commiting the crimes themselves, extorting people and killing those who can't pay them. Then it's no longer a regular bribe collecting police , it's now terrorism. They are terrorising people and need to be removed from the system |
Litmus:Revolution doesn't have to be overthrowing a democratically elected govt na. Even a person with half a brain know that it is disastrous to the progress of any society and nation at large, and even opposition parties who see the big picture knows it's not a sustainable way to take power because table can turn when they get there. Revolution in this contest is call for more government reforms in bettering the life of average Nigerians. More involvement in electoral process, because we the youth don't vote enough. That should change. When politicians sees that youths are starting to use their numbers to bring about reforms, they'll start taking us serious and start making decisions and policies that affects us directly in a positive way. This is just the beginning. I believe more is to come in the very nearest future |

To be fair , it's a sensible proposal. Also, one club one vote policy currently in place is shitty though. How can clubs like Man utd , Chelsea man city and other big 6 whose activities are the reason why the EPL has a lot of money today have the same voting power as a club like Fulham. Even in Real life sef, US or UK does not and cannot have the same voting power as some third world country. E get why they classify countries to first world , secin world etc. |
