Well, it seems Woodward is leveraging on two things; Firstly, the guys contract expires in 9 months,of which the guy has refused to renew on numerous occasions. Secondly, the guy is also pushing to leave. So, Porto won't want him to leave for free without getting something from him. Without any unforeseen bidding war from other club, Porto will sell eventually. And if any other club shows interest, Man Utd will eventually pay that 18million.

A lot of we pro-Nacho who believed in his abilities have been clamouring for him to get a move away from Leicester to get game time, but it seems the guy is comfortable with his bench role. Am not happy with the selection of the age grade coaches ranging from under 17- Under 23 there are many Nigeria ex internationals/ coaches that can be given those positions the likes of seyi olofinjina,finidi,kanu et al Salisu does not deserve to be called the U-23 coach he has paid his dues already he tried with Chan eagles though he ended this feat with corruption charges leveled against him but I prefer a fresh hand for the job. Probably finidi,seyi, ikeme,kanu should be consider for the job.

You can't buy experience. Salisu has shown that he's better at managing the home based team, just like Siasia. If we had Salisu instead of Imama, we will be in the Olympics by now. Salisu would have picked the bulk of his team at home and blended them together for the tourney, instead of relying on some overseas based player who will not have time to prepare well for the qualifiers.

How do you think Siasia qualified us for the last 2 Olympics he took us to, it was throug making the home based players the fulcrum of his team. That was how we discovered people like Etebo, Azubuike and co.

I won't want any coach that will rely on some overseas based players to qualify for Olympics, which could backfire if the club's of those players don't release them on time or even at all

So the comparison is not out of line. Where one coach ran the other team to the ground, the other coach is making do with what he has effectively and maximizing output with respect to what he has.

As a coach , Ole is zero, tactically A lot of people on this forum has seen it a lot time ago, and I'm starting to agree with them. After over a year as the coach , he doesn't have a clear cut pattern. His tactic is just put your best available 11 on the pitch and insha'Allah

Forget , Giggs Sabi o. I follow Wales and j know what I'm talking about. They qualified automatically for Euro from a fairly tough group, with very *average* players. Even Scotland with supposedly better players than Wales couldn't even qualify. He has a very young team and he uses them to their abilities. NB : Ramsey and Bale were both absent for majority of their qualifiers. Yet he did something with a very average team. Now in Nations league group stage he's leading their group with 2 wins from 2 games.

But Mr Ole, the last average team he coached , he got them relegated.

It only confirms one thing. That the guys going there lately (Awaziem et al) were not good enough for the team. Even with all there loan moves, no team where they've gone on loan have seen them deem fit enough to permanent their deals. So i will also erase that school of thought from my own memory toocYse I used to share basco's POV about that team before
