Education / Re: JAMB Frustration Gives Fresh Secondary School Graduate His First Lesson In Life by timay1: 5:51pm On Apr 22
He is not ready to go to a higher institution yet.

Nothing lost for him. Whenever he is ready, he will learn to read instructions on a document more than once as well as double checking the info on it.

Also, when you get posted to an exam centre you are unfamiliar with its location, common sense dictates you look for the centre and familiarize yourself with the location before the exam day.

Now he is blaming JAMB for his obvious failure.

Unserious element

Any of them will do but Randy will definitely go with Plumptre there as her ball playing and going forward is better than Okeke’ down!

The Battle against Spain will definitely be in the Midfield, if you can Mark out Aitana Bonmati you have reduced them to 50%, then Mariona it’s Finnish..

I will go with Ayinde and Ucheibe as my double pivot in Midfield with Ayinde doing the Marking as she did to Lauren James! Ucheibe to cover the rest ground left as she’s more like a two player. Once Ayinde tire out bring in Deborah Abiodun to close the game..

Attacking Midfield I will go with Toni Payne ahead of Echegini as we need someone who can hold the ball well, drive and dribble her way through to feed the forwards, Echegini will be better as Sub in that game as she tends to lose the ball occasionally( Probably because our forwards are a bit far away and out of position)..

Ajibade will have to bring her A game against Ona Battle!

All these you're writing is just fantasy.😂

We will loose that game.

By how much we loose will only depend on how well we play. If randy gets his formation right, we will loose by a respectable scoreline. But if we don't get our game together, we will loose heavily.

If Alozie brings back her World Cup form fine, she can compete if not we would be needing a stubborn Right Back of either Okeke or Nicole!

Going physical against Spain with strong tackles and render them useless as they can’t compete, Infact going toe-to-toe with them like pressing them from their Box, wining our 1-V-1 battles will help. Parauello can’t really beat Ohale and Demehin if they go on a foot race for the ball as they’re also quick and you can hardly catch them off guard..

Dey play. You guys think Spain aren't physical. E go shock una.

I call it reverse stereotype.

There's a stereotype that physical teams aren't usually technical. There's also a reverse stereotype that technically sound team that play tiki taka brand of football aren't physical or strong on the ball.

Both stereotypes are bullshit. As far as I know, that Spanish team is not soft. Underate their physicality at your own peril.

France women team wíll explain better to you. I remember Herve Renard packing the midfield in that Nations league final, and started their most physical midfielders, yet couldn't stop them.

That Barca game was just a match where most of the players didn't turn up. They were misplacing easy passes and missing easy shots, even from 1st half. That's how I know that they wouldn't do much on that day.

Even after everything, Chelsea only managed a goal and 2 shots on target. Which shows that they weren't pulling trees either.

Nigeria doesn't have any sensible military officers.

Dey play.

Coups all over the world aren't carried out by Generals in the military. Those ones are usually okay with the status quo because they are already feeding fat and are contented.

Coups are carried out by the disgruntled mid level officers ( Lieutenant, Colonels, Captains etc)

Go check the history of coup both in Nigeria and abroad and you'll see it

Na make Oyibo dah call am Physical instead of this their Foul play up and down.. If the white wan go fair with their comments, then go da use Very Physical & Athletic side but we know the story…

Playing against Cameroon have always been like this till date…, one of the reasons I give it up for the foreign born cause they’re not use to this aggressive style of play.. If you notice clearly yesterday Tony Payne was scared while playing, trying to play safe cause of injury. Alozie, Plumptre, Esther, Babajide stood their ground among the foreign born..

You know, the oyinbos are just trying to be politically correct and not get accused of racisms, so they use physicality as the safe word.

Take for example, Aitana and Ona Battle are physically strong players who use their bodies very well to shield the ball.

You cant disposses any of them of the ball easily without fouling them by kicking them. Even pushing Aitana isnt even enough. I doubt any of the cameroonians can physically match those two examples. But because they are white, people will think they are soft, until they face them grin

The ever Physical Cameroonian team..

Cameroon remains the most Physical team in Africa Women Football..! Followed by the Ivorians🇨🇮 and Senegal🇸🇳.. The likes of Nigeria, Ghana, Zambia, E/Guinea and South Africa follows.

Straight up committing fouls is not physicality. You dont need muscles for that.

The cameroonians were just commiting fouls up and down the pitch. They lost most of their aerial and ground duels against us, so they arent physical at all. If the referee did her job, they would have ended up with a shit load of yellow cards

Straight up running into your opponents and kicking them aint physicality, its just dangerous play

I think this is one of the best traits that he has. He almost assisted Garnacho yesterday after beating two men. His pass was just a bit overhit. And I believe this was because of his scanning ability. Same with that unexpected pass to Bruno that created a chance.

Didn't Gore make debut before him? wink I remember all those times Kobbie should've gotten minutes but was either injured or returning from injury.

Now that he's going to get his chance, I seriously hope and pray injury doesn't become a problem. That baba from Arsenal had better do his job cheesy

The bolded reminded me if Greenwood, whose debut usually gets postponed because anytime an opportunity presented itself for such, he was always unavailable with injury. The academy followers were usually anxious to see him play because they know how good he is. 😁

The arabs, indians, somalis etc will go to these countries as refugees or workers and then go on to create parallel communities . No intention to integrate. I support all these moves. If you go somewhere and not integrate you should be sent packing. They are indirectly telling those people that you cant sit at home collecting benefits while only the husband or wife works.
European countries don't really have communities. They are isolationist. So immigrants from the same countries just look for each other and form their own small community which eventually grows very big.

How do they expect immigrants to integrate when they themselves don't like to mingle with them. Heck , Europeans don't mingle with themselves in a casual level like we do in African communities. An European will be living in a community and he's never even greeted his neighbor in years, or know the name of any of his neighbor children.

There was a reason that UEFA cancelled 4th place from the Top 5 leagues playing playoffs to qualify for UCL and decided to give them automatic qualifications to group stage. It was because they are usually big teams clashing in those players, therefore some of them missing out.
Imagine seeing Ac Milan vs Arsenal in playoffs back then. Meaning that one of the two will miss out.

Something has to be done about this plague of ACL injuries. Whether it's the boots, the turf, the colour of the socks... something has to change.

Professionalism of the women's game and more intensity in the women's game is a big factor.

Let me explain.

Before the last few years, 2/3 of women's teams all over the world were operated on part time basis. Meaning that the footballers had other jobs, and they probably only train very few times per week. So the intensity of the game was very low, and their games are usually slow when you watch it.

But since the last 5 years, most, if not all of the teams in the top tier leagues all over Europe and North America have become professional in nature, meaning that they are now full time. And the clubs now get their own dedicated training grounds for their women's teams.

They get to train like twice every day with 1 or 2 days of rest every week, except match days. They training hours are longer and more intense, since they are full time professionals and that is their only job.

The improved training ours expectedly helped improve the women's game more, as evidenced by the intensity and fitness of those games we now watch, because they now run more and the tactical inputs of games has increased as a result.

However, what sports professionals didn't take into account now is the negative effect of professionalism of the women's game.

More training and more game intensity results into more injuries because the women's body handles things differently compared to the men.

It's no coincidence that a rise in ACL injury in women's footballers coincided with the period when the women's game became professionalized.

People don't want to talk about this reason and have this conversation because they will be tagged as sexist or misogynistic. This conversation is in the same Whatsapp group as the conversation about reducing goalposts for women's football, or reducing the pitch size for women's football, as well as minutes played.

Exactly the point I made. It made sense for her to bow out at the world cup just like Rapineo and Martha did. The conversation about her continued stay really picked up steam after the last list was released.

Her insistence on staying after the world cup is now bordering on her embarrassing herself at this point. The NFF gave her a perfect send off with the world cup. something that most of players male or female don't usually get.

Even the NFF as useless as they can be at times knows enough that she's now doing too much by not bowing out. that's why they didn't invite her.

She should stop embarrassing herself, going up and down ranting on social media

You're being dishonest here. The crux of this conversation started after the world cup.

Even though I wasn't particularly and advocate of Onome going to the world cup I wasn't against it either. Even though she'd been without a club and was scandalously attached to an NWFL club she doesn't play with, I could sincerely understood why she should be there, being the captain of the team and potentially being a good way to end a sterling career. I gave considerations because of these things.

After the world cup however, she no longer had those considerations from me. Like I said in my earlier comment, I wouldn't have called her out if the list was Randy's. If Randy drops a list with Onome in it, my beef will be with him. For the record I haven't commented on this subject since the last time a list that included her was released. Th closest to this was my expression of satisfaction on her name being left out while giving my remark on the release of the recent roster. To characterise that as causing unnecessary tension in the team is being and alarmist and frankly won't work. As free citizens we are and will continue to give our opinion on our teams as we deem fit.

Onome going to the world cup was probably the FA honouring her with a record appearance, and Randy would have probably understood.

I doubt randy would have continued calling her after the world cup. And I'm glad the FA were also thinking along that line.

US knows that Hamas does not have nuclear weapon that can destroy US grin
But Russia has!
So, both Russia and US dey fear one another becus of their nuclear capabilities which can end humanity patapata.
Then again, the aim of the US in this war is simply to see if Russians can overthrow Putin.
Secondly, to finish Russian military patapa via prolong war, before US tries to finish China.
The US knew that starting a war with China would likely put Russia at an advantage to support China and also over take globally. But with a weakened Russia economically and military wise, the US can face their biggest war ever in peace which is China. And the plan is working shaa becus Russia has spent so much on the war, losing weapons that would take decades to reproduce and losing man power, losing economic growth, etc.

The proxy war with China is not working. If anything, it's having the reverse effect on Russia.

The USA made the same mistake they did with China those years back. Sanctioning china was what made them develop at very fast pace up to the extent that they are now competing with USA for dominance.

Sanctioning Russia was always a bad idea. Russia didn't see itself as something since the collapse of the USSR, now this war have made them change their thinking and are now mover more towards self sufficiency like china did back then.

They have the resources (both human and material resources to achieve that)

The reason why the intelligent guys in USA pushed for globalization back in the day was to maintain dominance. USA can't be dominat without globalization. It's literally their weapon and why their sanctions usually work.

Now that everyone is moving away from them, because they have over used and abused the use of sanctions, their sanctions would be meaningless and the USA economy will be getting affected every year.
