I hope it's not the same legends that some people say are part of the club's problem

As ambassadors, I don't mind.

But as part of people to run the club, is where I draw the line.

The only people I'll accept is David Beckham (reluctantly) and Edwin Van Der Sar.

Both Beckham and Edwin are both experienced in club management. With Beckham being good at the business side of club administration very well.

They both have track records.

So bringing them in as one of the Club directors is a good addition. They are good enough to rub shoulders with the best in Europe in football club administration and management

The key is who owns the debt?
The USA for example, it's Federal Reserve Own 65% of USA debts

Russia.

The country has the least debt.

I was surprised when I heard it last year during the period of those sanctions. in fact they ran on budget surplus.

I couldn't believe my ears.

Fair point. But would you suggest the alternative - leave Ukraine to be overrun by Putin? Every choice made made by man comes with its own problems. You can only take the utilitarian approach and hope history justifies you.

I mean if Russia intention was to over run Ukraine, why would it bother to even initiate those numerous agreements with respect to Ukraine since 2014.
Even the last one last year in April 2022 that the west convinced Ukraine to reject after they almost agreed doesn't involve annexing the Donbass.
With that agreement, they get to keep the Donbass, but must remain neutral as a country without having to join NATO, also they grant regional administrative autonomy to the Donbass, similar to the arrangement that Spain has with Catalonia, Hongkong with China etc

Now they will loose the whole Donbass altogether because zelensky didn't put his people first. but allowed himself to be used by the west as a stick to beat Russia

Please, reduce your daily dose of CNN abeg.

*Having less game time.
*Fans are complaining about her.
Is she injured or something?

Nothing really.

Their coach is just experimenting with Alexia as a false 9.

He doesn't want to change the Midfield 3 of Walsh, Patri and Aitana. So instead of dropping Alexia back to midfield, he decided to send her to the CF position.

Kind of how Hermoso usually plays false 9. Same role.

Man Utd recruitment has been shitty because we've had no team identity. The obvious positions to fix have always been determined by who the current manager is. With Ferguson that wouldn't be the case, because his team had identity. He would already know his midfield, defence, and striker needed shoring up, and the right profile of players to fill them.

Also, a team where you spend 1 billion with 1 coach will be a lot better than a team that spent 1 billion with 5 different coaches. Meaning each coach only got an average of 200m.

People usually say "but united has spent 1billion just like mancity". What they dont usually say is that Man city spent 1 billion with 1 coach. But we spread that 1 billion on 5 different coaches with different styles.

Give Ferguson half of that 1 billion money. He would have found a way to send pep packing. No jokes

That leaves Afolabi and Onyenezide. Happy for this move. But make somebody enter English league too na. Shuu

A lot of the english teams bar very few are currently on an all white team basis now. No room for black people. Heck, even their own black british women find it hard to break into WSL at the moment.

If you are not a white blonde woman, no space for you in the WSL at the moment grin

Its not a conspiracy theory. Look at France and spain, with the sheer amount of black women all over their league, compared to England

The authorites in England are desperate to keep the league as white as possible, subcontiously.

You would think that Cameroonian football would improve with Eto’o being the head. He said that he was going to make sure that the Cameroonian National Team regularly play matches against other nations. So sad. Reality is another thing

Most of these African ex players just sit around after retirement, waiting for juicy positions. They don't have any knowledge of management.

Most of those ex players in Europe who went on to hold positions in their respective FAs, UEFA etc actually studied various sports management courses whether as a Diploma course or Degrees. That's why they usually know what to do when they get those positions.

You think a big club like Ajax will just give Edwin Van Der Sar a position of CEO in the club without any knowledge of management? Van Der Sar studied sports management course, that's why he could hold such position, and he did very well at Ajax as a CEO.

If tomorrow, he becomes the FA president of Netherlands or he enters UEFA or FIFA, he'll replicate that experience there too and do well.

So if Burnley play beautiful football with championship level defenders why are you now defending your big 7 from using Evans and Lindelof to the same 🙊

Yea. that's why they only have 1 point from 5 games.

With the way they are going, relegation is sure for them. You guys think playing tiki taka is the only way to win a football game.

The reason Real Madrid js so successful today is that Perez don't demand beautiful football from the coaches he hires, he only demands 3 points and trophies from them. How you'll do it is up to you as a coach. If you like play beautiful football or Haram football. Just win the bloody game.

Atiku and his team have probably seen the records via unofficial means. However, such documents will be inadmissible in court as evidence if such evidence was obtained illegally.

That's why they are in court to get CSU to release it to them legally so it can be useful in the supreme court.

Agreement between Liga F and the unions to call off the strike

https://ligaf.es/noticia/acuerdo-entre-liga-f-y-sindicatos-para-desconvocar-la-huelga

Statement

2023/24 season: 21,000 euros, which can be increased to 23,000 euros depending on the growth of the competition's commercial income.

 2024/25 season: 22,500 euros, which can be increased to 25,000 euros depending on the growth of the competition's commercial income.

 2025/26 season: 23,500 euros, which can be increased to 28,000 euros depending on the growth of the competition's commercial income.

This Professional League and its Clubs had always defended the need to reach a long-term agreement that would provide stability to the women's professional football project and allow gradual and sustainable growth in accordance with the development of the competition.

The commitment and repeated efforts of the Clubs during the negotiation process have contributed fundamentally to achieving the much-needed peace scenario without losing sight of the sustainability of the competition. A scenario that we hope will show the way to the rest of the institutions that are part of Spanish sport and allow the project of women's professional football to be promoted.

Finally, this Professional League would like to thank the SIMA Foundation and the mediators involved for their commitment and dedication, which have been decisive in achieving this agreement.

These ones are busy dragging each other over a meagre 23k per annum minimum wage, in a top league o.

Yet they expect Plumptre to not go to Saudi Arabia for better bag.

Some of the comments am seeing on some of the transfer pages is that she chose Money over Morals.

If you’re not among the big names and National Team Player you can barely earn $50,000 a year from the Women’s game.. except You’re in the Asisat Oshoala, Puttelas, Renard, Diani, Vivian Miedema, Alex Morgan, Rapinoe, Bronze Level that you will be earning above $200,000 to $1M annually..

In the top Divisions in France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, England and the NWSL they earn as little as $1500 monthly as minimum Salary… When you get the Saudi/China Offer it’s difficult to ignore it especially when you can get what you get a year in two months over there..!

The highest paid player in the WSL presently is Russo at Arsenal, Earning 500k per year.

She's part of the minority that earn relatively good money, yet it's just 500k.

In doubt any women is presently earning 1m. It's an if.

Majority are earning less than 100k, while the super majority who are just normal regular players earn way below 50k per year.

If Ashleigh had moved to a team in Europe, I doubt dhe will get up to 200k sef. I doubt it.

Liga F in Spain has a minimum wage of 16k per year. They are currently fighting to increase it to 23k per year in 3 years. look at that number 😭😭

If you're not playing in the top 3 in Spain, your wage is literally shit🤣🤣

Saudi Arabia can easily dominate the women's game. Pay a minimum of $250k and max out at $1m. In 2 years Europe and the NWSL will have to adjust. Bold move by her.

But such move Won't happen because a significant percentage of female player are gay, and being gay in Saudi is illegal with a death penalty as maximum punishment. That's before we get into the general repression of women in every area of life too…

But again why can’t they keep their Sexual life aside and focus on the Pay, get the bag and move on to where they accept such Lifestyle..

I don't have the data, but I feel the amount of Lesbians in women's football is overstated. They are just a loud minority.

It looked like they have the highest number because they don't usually hide it, they proudly flaunt it.

I may be wrong though but their numbers are overstated

True. Home and away, Osimhen never got any scoring chance. He was feeding off literally scraps. It was terrible. No through balls from midfield for Osimhen to run into. The crosses were terrible as well. It was an eyesore

Nacho is at his best when hes behind the striker or playing as an inside foward from the right wing position, doing his thing with the knowledge that there is a big striker upfront he can pass the final ball to.

I am telling you! Dude is pretty solid. Football can be weird sometimes, this guy flew under the radar as a youngster. He must have developed later in his teenage years to have escaped the net of United (we scout Ireland for their best talents a lot), City, etc.

He's definitely one of those players that are shit at 10-16 yrs, so no serious big team scouts them as a potential generational talent because they were average or below at the time, but suddenly have a growth spurt in shirt period of 1-2 years and start balling.

It happens in older players too, where you see some players who are shit in their early 20s, then suddenly becomes world class from age 25,26, or 27 yrs e.g Jamie Vardy

I think Getafe CF are just trolling everyone against Mason's return to the sport at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if the spineless Glazers paid them extra for the rub-in effort which they couldn't do themselves.

Simple.

People have moved on.

It didn't even take them 5 days 🤣🤣

The charity organizations in Spain that released a statement the other time has gone back to where they came from. Reason, nobody including Getafe gave a fxck. The only reason entities like that feel some sort of importance is when you acknowledge them. If you don't acknowledge them, their ranting won't last a day.

That's why I said the Club should have integrated him in anyway. Worse case scenario, they wi rant for Maximum of 2-3 days on Twitter.

The moment the club acknowledged them, they felt powerful. And started adding and building on the story. That was their mistake.

Barca don't usually pay for transfer, except an emergency like when Putellas got ACL and had to bring Walsh.

They are patient and are likely talking to a striker from one of the big clubs so they can sign at the end of their contract in their old club.

They almost bagged Miedema from Arsenal, they had a pre agreement with her. The deal broke down last minute when she changed her mind.

That was how they signed Ona Battle from United, Graham Hansen from Wolfsburg etc etc.

Something tells me they will sign Ewa Pajor or Wasmuth from Wolfsburg by next year.

They are a very patient club. And will always wait for the right player to replace Oshoala
