BascoVanVeli: At this point, you people are asking for her to be babysitted. After setting her up for clean 1v1 twice after her two goals, what more does she want? Bro, let's leave conspiracy out of this abeg. It's not as if the coach hooked her off at half time She was there for like 80minutes. Someone struggling for form had like 2 goals, and you are still waiting for hat trick. 1 Like |

lovewins: That's the perfect way to build a team, if you ask me. A team should shouldn't be built around one goal scorer for efficiency purpose. One injury to your top scorer, them the whole team goes bust and start struggling for goals. If you doubt me, ask PSG who lost Katoto. Even Lyon are not in their best in terms of scoring goals with Ada out injured as well as some of their goal scorers. Barca on the other hand lost 3 players that could give them at least 50 goals a season among them even in their worst form (Putellas, Lieke Martens and Hermoso) last season, yet they haven't slowed down or gotten affected in terms of scoring goal. Infact with yesterday's results they set another UWCL goal record last night by scoring the highest goals in the group stage. As good as other teams are, they can't loose those three calibre of players in their team and not get rattled. Putellas alone had over 35goals last season. This Barca femeni team is like Pep's Man city, they will always score shit load of goals, with or without a top CF like Halaand or Aguero..The team is simply built to be self sustaining. Concerning Asisat, she gets enough chances every game to at least be on 15 goals at this stage of the season. But she's been wastful. Last night alone, an Oshoala of last season would be on hat trick before 40 minutes with all the chances she got. She missed before she had her two goals, as well as after. Some strikers in other teams don't have the benefits of having the type of support she has at Barca and they are outscoring her. please let's leave conspiracy theory for now and hope Asisat gets back her form. 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli: Conspiracy theory now on top of a player that's been Missing chances upon chances every game. It's only natural that her teammates will instinctually not get the ball to her, when she'll eventually miss them anyway. It's not conspiracy theory. The same set of players that set her up like 6 times in 1 half alone are now ganging up against her in the next 45minutes of the same game. It doesn't even make sense na. Comparing her to Ada is nonsense because they are not on the same level. The reason why Ada scores shit load of goals is because she barely misses. Replace Oshoala with Asisat in that Barca team, and Barca will have 3 UWCL by now instead of 1. There was a reason Barca fought tooth and nail to get Miedema from Arsenal who is a little bit closer to Ada in terms of conversion rate. I like asisat, but what you've just said is not it at all. At some point, Asisat has to take responsibility of her shortcomings. If you are in that Barca team as a CF and you only have a meagre 5 goals at this point in the season , then it's on you. |

Danielnino00:You mean manufactured controversy from Europeans and American, that had mostly racist undertones because they didn't like an Arab country winning the hosting right. They did the same shit with South Africa too in 2010. The success of that world cup is what made people forget about it. Thankfully, sane will happen with this world cup. |

BascoVanVeli: The key to beating barca is to rush them in the first 30 minutes and take your chances so that you can defend with your life after. If that fails, and you dont score, you will definitely loose the game. 1 Like |

afrodoc2: Ironically, the pampering of players and giving underperforming players too many chances is the reason why it looks like we kill careers. Any players that goes to madrid knows that he must start producing in 1 or 2 years or else madrid moves on and ship out their ass. So they work extra hard. But at united, they seem relaxed because the winning mentality is no more there, so they dont feel the pressure to impress. No one cares about your fragile feelings at a club like madrid, you are shit, they show you the bench and bring in someone else to replace you 5 Likes |

BascoVanVeli: Probably psychological. Hand has physically healed but the trauma of the injury is making her not to fully commit herself so that the injury won't reoccur. It's all in her head, and she needs some psychological help, or else it will take time for her to fully heal the mental aspect. Same thing happened to Luke shaw after he broke his leg. Man was physically fine but he wasn't 100% mentally since then and usually play half heartedly. He even started gaining weight at some point. Footballers go through a lot after injuries. It's one of the reasons some footballers become a shadow of themselves after an injury. Different people have different mental strength. However, on rare cases, some people become better than their normal ability, after an injury. Everything is all in the head. 2 Likes |

lovewins: Also her touch is so bad. She used to get away with bad touches because she reacts faster than her maker in the past, now that reaction time is gone. Any bad touch like this, she gets dispossessed immediately. Anyway, the only way Sociedad can win this game is to continue pressing like the way they were doing in the first half. Any attempt to try and Sit back will not help them. it wil only make Barcelona to come back into the game, because Barca dont have problem breaking down parked buses in defense 2 Likes |

They only talk about it to score political points with black people, just like the student loan was meant to score political points with AOC cacaus. They know what they are doing bro. Schemerkhiz: Barca too has injuries. Graham hanson, Mariona has been going in and out of injury , but the difference for them is that they recruited well in the summer and not only that, their summer recruits fitted into the team like a glove hitting the ground running immediately, without having to adapt What do you think about this Barca youngster, Salma Paralluelo. Her game is too matured for a 19 year old. She'll be a problem for a lot of teams. she's damn good. 1 Like 1 Share |

afrodoc2: Yep. Nothing special about the guy. He's just another low budget Lampard/Gerrard Regen CM England have been producing lately. Just run and work rate, without know how to do an actual midfielders job og controlling midfield and dictating game tempo. All they do is run, dribble and score some goals. The likes of Dele Alli and Lingard do pass all these ones in their prime and we all could still smell their bulshit from miles away. I'm always getting the same vibes with guys like Mason Mount and Bellingham 1 Like |

DeadPresidents: The club not yet terminating his contract means that they(club hierarchy) are holding up for him and are working underground to help him out of the shit. Even if they don't want to sack him, the should have at least reassigned his squad number , but they didn't. Meaning that they are a little bit confident he's coming back. If not, I don't see the reason why he's still being kept. He's not even earning huge salary, his money is chicken change and they can easily pay him off. Even his offense alone can warrant termination of his contract without pay. Because they can argue that he brought disrepute to the club. |

Expert17: Exactly, if the Glaziers indeed hold that view about Ronaldo's standing in the club, they'll rather throw ETH under the bus to please Ronaldo. But none of that is happening and the fact that Ronaldo's is being benched at will (deservedly so due to performance) only means that the glazers don't care about him or place him at higher pedestal he felt he deserved. Probably why he's a get at them. |

Idiko1: May be, but it's just a small part. A lot of football experts world over always knew this day was coming. The day Europeans start taking women's football more seriously. You'll notice the trend that it's only the European teams that's been beating them. They still easily walk past the other non European teams. The world cup they won in 2019 will be the last one they'll win in a long time. Starting from next edition, the Europeans will take turn in. rotating it among themselves. The likes of Sweden, England, An hungry Spain, Germany are all presently so good with good youth system producing talents. Look at Spain Recently winning U17 and U20 world cup, U20 Euros, runner up in the U17 euro, all in 1 year, Churning out talented players that are even rivalring the senior players. Even when the likes of Putellas, Aitana etc retires in future, the already have ready made teams to take over and continue the job or even be better. Same with England who has a lot of talented youngsters coming up too. USA aren't smelling the top any time soon 2 Likes |

SlyFoxx4Life: Me sef surprise because the democrats keep accussing the supreme court of banning abortion, which they did not. Even instates that doesnt allow abortion, they had clauses that allowed abortion on medical grounds, like life threatening illness, ectopic pregnancy etc, and some states only banned at after the pregnancy is some months old, which means they can still have abortion at early stage like 1-3 months pregnacy, which majority of abortion generally happens. So how the Democrats actually brainwashed their so called 'Educated' voters that the Republicans are outrightly banning abortion is a mystery to me 2 Likes |

bassdow: Its still a mystery how the west hasnt learnt over the years that sanctioning strong and big countries is always a mistake. Such countries are big enough in terms of size and population to sustain an isolation and an isolated economy. Such countries end up becoming sanction proof and learn to be self reliant and become even what they initially dont want them to be, which is become more powerful. Sanctions only work on small population countries effectively. Iran, China, North Korea are examples. Now they are making the same mistake with russia. After, years of that carelessness, those countries are now pulling rank together under the BRICS umbrella, to even become more sanction proof and stronger coalition that will rival NATO |
