Emerson offers nothing so both coaches (Tuchel and Mancini) simply bench him. Why don't they simply give Jorginho the Emerson treatment if he, just like Emerson, offers nothing?

If a player doesn't contribute anything to the team, what is the best and simplest thing the coach will do? Bench him. He contributed nothing NOTHING.

But why will a coach tweak and alter his formation and tactics to suit that player who contributes nothing to the team? I mean, isnt it way more easier to drop a player to the bench than look for a way to play that player even when it requires to tweak your normal formation before you feature that guy?
