TheGoodJoe:

The question is why did they surround the referee. They surrounded the referee to get Ibrahimovic sent off.

In the pictures you and Chelsea posted below, did they surround the referee to send off any player? No.

Grame Souness case seems like a problem with an FC Porto player and him while the referee was trying to desperate. Is that surrounding the referee?

Taking verbal shots on pundits is wrong. No matter how you try to defend it.
The question is NOT why they surrounded the ref. The question is that they SURROUNDED the ref. Clearly, from their comments, they had issue with Chelsea players SURROUNDING the ref. Why is that hard for you to see?

Abeg I no fit argue this hot afternoon.

You are entitled to your opinions but, being a blogger, you have to stop misinforming your readers. That's very bad for your blog.

For the last time, Souness and Carragher was critical of Chelsea, Not because they were conning the ref, But because they surrounded the ref.

I WONT COMMENT ON THIS TOPIC AGAIN.

Thank you.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Mourinho's Attack On TV Pundits Souness And Carragher Is Wrong by timbros(m):
TheGoodJoe:

How are these similar incidences? These guys were complaining about Chelsea players cunning the referee to send off Ibrahimovic. How does a coach and player being upset with referees similar incident?

Are you saying pundits have no right to criticise performances?
These are what Souness and Carragher said...

www.eurosport.com/football/champions-league/2014-2015/chelsea-under-fire-graeme-souness-labels-blues-pathetic-as-jamie-carragher-blasts-mourinho_sto4635599/story.shtml

WHAT SOUNESS SAID

"This PSG team is justfull of technique, a really good footballing team and they had to put up with stuff which I find really, really unappealing. The reaction of the Chelsea players on the challenge on Oscar epitomised what I'm saying. To a man they surrounded the referee,, (Diego) Costa ran 50 yards to get involved.

WHAT JAMIE CARRAGHER SAID

"The worst bit of dirty tricks was from Chelsea, surrounding the referee, the reaction was disgraceful. Jose Mourinho could end up being the most successful manager ever with the trophies he goes on to win in his career but I don't think him and his teams will be ever be loved because of actions like that. Does Mourinho care? I don't thinkhe probably cares. I think it's sad."
Did you notice from @bolded the main reason they were critical? Not because they were trying to con the ref but because surrounded the ref.

For whichever reason, be it conning the ref, angry with the ref's decision, whatever the reason, the pundits is telling us that surrounding the ref is bad.

Now come the above images. Did Souness and Carragher not surround the ref at some point in their career? Why should they be critical of something they have been guilty of?

oh ho. You can dance sekem or galala, who cares? I don't.

I watch different type of sports all the time. So what? JM is helping the team - We are 6 points clear (with a game in hand) and with a cup (yes, that Milk one) in the bag. How else is a manager supposed to help his team? Play on the pitch or ref the match?

Of course the jonours disturb him or did he call up BBC and Skysport or Eurosport for an interview or they called him up? He granted an interview and decided to blow his own trumpet. An attitude that might be frowned down upon but who says it is entirely wrong? If you are good, then you are allowed to say it. I personally do not see anything hilarious here.

Y'all should quit playing that self-righteous tune, especially some i.di.ot who feels the numbers of post on NL equates to the right to knock other people down, the muppet who generally (and as we all know) frequently foam at the mouth.

Or even you omo iya (got mad respect for you) but did you not defend yourself when folks turned on you say you switched sides (L'ar..se to Banshyt Munich. cheesy ) ? Why didn't you just say - no comments? undecided grin

Yes, I agree he (JM) talks too much but that is his style. Can't and won't change the man. We at Chelsea love him and I speak not just for myself but for millions of us - not counting that absolute pinhead who openly prayed for our defeat when the JM-wannbe got the boot.

Now this is getting embarrassing.

The rate we throw away games from winning positions recently is becoming alarming.

Against Burnley, we were one up but the game ended 1-1. PSG away the same thing, the same scoreline. PSG home we twice took the lead only to draw 2-2 full time. Now today we draw from winning position.

WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?

If things continue like this hmmmmm..

Biko Mourinho wrap up this league ASAP.

I take God beg you.

“People are too much worried about me than they should[be]. They don’t know what my happiness is. My happiness, first of all, is when I compare myself with the others [managers], I see just a few that are with me in terms of success.

“And the others I see a huge difference, a huge distance, with all the respect that they deserve and thisis not a fight with them and I have lotsof respect for all of them.

“But in the Premier League, who is European champion? Me and Van Gaal. Right? In the Premier League, how many won the Premier League twice or more than twice? Mr Wenger and myself.

“Howmany won every competition in thiscountry? Community Shield, Capital One Cup, FA Cup, Premier League. How many? How many?

“You go to Europe, how many won seven league titles? How many won two Champions Leagues? Ancelotti wins three, Van Gaal two and Pep [Guardiola] has two. I am not content with that, but you are too much worried about myself.
“What makes me feel special is that I am above all of this. You think I care with some b******t I read? Do you think I care? I don’t care.”

Guardiola teaches his players how to make them have chances to win, the execution lies with the players

Thats why Guardiola is still in the CL while Mourinho is fighting Carragher and Souness on TV
If Guardiola can't teach his players how to SCORE then I'll have to agree with you, he is clueless, a joke, and a disgrace.

Acoach'sjob is to give tactics that make his team create chances, He wouldnt do the scoring for them

If a coach tactics make players have 7 one on one with the keeper and they missed it How is that the coaches fault?

If CHelsea created chances but their players wasted it then we can exonerrate the coach, but when the team fails to create good chances despite being a man up, No two ways its the coach who is clueless
So Guardiola only teach his players how to come one on one with the 'keeper but not how to utilise the chance?

What a great coach!

We have someone like Pep Guardiola who can play good and also win which is why Bayern are having Pep
And still lose to 10 men...

I would hire the one that plays good football and win like Pep Guardiola.

Only amateurs just look at the scoreline and make conclusions, then why need to watch the game we can as well just watch livescore.com

The manner of the loss matters, when you play vs 10 men and are not able to dominate or create chances that that coach is useless, clueless and a joke
Lol...

I said one plays good football but doesn't win trophies but the other plays defensive football yet brings in trophies every year.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by timbros(m): 5:10pm On Mar 14, 2015
Talking about clear cut chances created, you are even telling us that Guadiola is more clueless.

How many clear cut chances do you need in a match to score? Like 60 clear cut chances before you score 2 goals? Lol... But Mourinho will need like 2 counter attacks to score 2 goals.

Now tell me who is efficient and who is clueless?

Forget o. Mourinho F'd up, yes. But to label him those terms? C'mon man! Behave like a football fan nah..

How many clear cut chances did Peps team create in those 2 instances? and how many did Mourinhos team create on Wednesday?

In Prague, Cech was making wonder saves, even vs Chelsea Messi missed a penalty that would have won it for them.

Vs PSG, Sirigu was on holidays
Look at your post again. You never stated how a manager will lose to 10 men before being labelled 'a joke', - a disgrace' or 'clueless'.

Spare us the details of how the game went. When a scoreline is being shown in your television, do you see any details attached to it? What you see is Bayern 2-2 Chelsea or Barcelona 2-2 Chelsea or Chelsea 2-2 PSG. The only other thing you may see is the agg scores.

What I mean is this: Football is all about winning the match. If you play well and win, that's a bonus.

Let me ask you. If you own a club, which manager will you likely fire, the one that goes trophyless year in year out but plays sexy and dominating football OR the one that hauls in trophies on a steady basis playing defensive football?

If Mourinho is clueless, a joke, and a disgrace because he lost to a 10 man team, the your almighty Guardiola is also clueless, a joke, and a disgrace.

Guardiola didn't crash out of the second round.

Pep wouldn't be clueless against 10 men.

Pep has already shown that he's better than Mourinho

Tell us any top game where Mourinho displayed attacking football.

Any coach who can't beat 10 men is a joke.

Like it's said Mourinho can never deliver under pressure rather he thrives when playing the underdog with a siege mentality
@bolded.

Who was Barcelona's coach when Chelsea beat them in Camp Nou with 10 men in 2012?

Who was Bayern's coach that need penalty shootout to win 10 man Chelsea in 2013? (and please don't tell me that bull crap that he finally won. PK is any man's game. It is not won by the coach's brillance/intelligence)

Going by the bolded, it is safe to say that Guadiola is clueless and/or a joke.
