At last, their hero, Ken Saro Wiwa and eight others were granted pardon and conferred a post humous award, likewise the Ogoni four, a new university was also approved for them among other things.
I am particularly delighted the East-West road would be completed by next year and also the newly completed Bonny-Bodo road will be dualized all the way to Bayelsa.

To be frank, Buhari showed true camaraderie to Tinubu. How would you want to supplant your master and benefactor whereby the same man also happens to be a solid backing to Buhari's Presidency. Buhari's endorsing Osinbajo would have amounted to one of the darkest arts in human history.
But also, Buhari's body language at the time gave room for lots of tensed atmosphere, speculations and uncertainty especially in the Tinubu's camp, paving way for some of the candidates proclaiming themselves as the anointed candidates. It was not until Tinubu self- proclamation of " Emilokan" at Abeokuta, that was the turning point that scattered the table, dismantled the cabal and reset the arrangements.

That was when Buhari finally heard it loud and clear and Aisha had to come out to align with Tinubu. That singular pronouncement changed everything!.

The President came in and filled the slot for SE in the Supreme Court bench. Before the President came to power, SE had only one slot representing the region. The President established the Southeast Development Commission to address decades long of complaints of marginalization and rehabilitation. The President ensured that a Southeastern is elected the Deputy Speaker. Right now, Mr President has gone a step further to break the glass ceiling to establish an Army depot in the South east, such a decision that would have been unthinkable in the past for a region that rebelled against Nigeria.

Adeleke was one of those who was also not accepted to join. I do not know how Tinubu does it sha but one can tell that they are not coerced into joining.

Kanu, through the Legal Aid Council, filed an ex parte application, urging the court to move him from Sokoto prison to either Kuje Prison (FCT) or Keffi Custodial Centre in Nasarawa State.

He finally sought legal help, what he should have done when he was in court at the time the judge had advised him but he refused. Now he's doing so in prison. What crude arrogance can do to you.

As at today, the State governments are still dictating to LG chairmen. The only difference now is that the states must hold a LG election instead of appointing caretaker committees

We are moving past all of these once the amendment becomes law. Now, every Governor is rushing to conduct LG elections compared to what it was in the past, it tells you that something is changing. As soon as we have a new constitution, it would become a breach of the constitution if any Governor acts otherwise, they can as well be sued in court.
