TravelRe: Tinubu's Support Helped Air Peace Crash Fare From $13,000 To $3,000 – Onyema by TimeManager(m): 8:35pm On Oct 30, 2025
If you can't understand why Governors, lawmakers are decamping and tilting towards Mr President, have you asked yourself why industry players like Onyema, Dangote, Elumelu, Otedola and co are heaping praise on Mr President?. This is the first time we have a President who is giving private investors a sense of belonging and repositioning the sector for greater maximization. A president that is helping local investors acquire the offshore assets of international oil companies thereby expanding their horizons. The first time ever we are having first indigenous export terminal. How do I forget Authur Eze who is now the biggest Tinubu supporter in the Southeast, prior to 2023, he wasn't even a Tinubu fan.

Frankly speaking, the poor masses are the problems of themselves, you see the likes of Dangote, Onyema, BUA, trying to bring down the price of their products but each time prices of foods crashed a little, farmers would start to lament, they fight back every efforts of the Government to bring down food prices just for them to keep exploiting the masses and smiling to the bank.

He who has an ear, let him hear. Some people advised you to keep your dollars that it would get to 2000 but lo and behold, you got burnt. With Dangote refinery expanding its capacity in the last few weeks of the year ending, also with the development that he is diving into crude oil production, something hooge is about to happen.

For the life of me, I still can't fathom why the likes of the legendary Fela Kuti and Majek Fashek were never nominated for the Grammys. Even when the legendary Salif Keita was nominated a couple of times, he still ended up winning nothing. Though the organizers are recently pandering to Africa just for the commercial transactions. If the Noble Prize was controlled by the US, I would reckon that no African would have won the prize.

PoliticsRe: In 2004, Nigeria Foiled Coup Plot To Overthrow President Obasanjo by TimeManager(m): 7:03pm On Oct 21, 2025
Northerners luuuve coup, the thirst for absolute power. Aside from the rematch of 1966, which divided opinions as being " a-do-me -I-do-you" situation. I am still a bit upset towards the North for three major situations;
1. The assassination of MKO
2. The assassination of Patrick Yakowa
3. The assassination of Lt.Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, late COAS.

Prof. Yemi Osinbajo barely escaped helicopter assassination, even Buhari was poisoned which led to him being flown abroad for three months.

As President, it is advisable to surround yourself with those you can trust with your life and not pander to being politically correct. You have to always be alert as a crab 🦀

The prosecution has concluded its case, and it is now incumbent upon Mr. Ejimakor and the other lawyers to mount a strong defence for Kanu.

“Rather than focusing on preparing a strong case, Mr. Ejimakor has resorted to extra-legal tactics,
The same question we have been asking ; why are you scared opening your defense after the prosecuting counsel have long concluded their case?. why the needless delaying?. From accusing Judges, requesting his case be transferred from one judge to another, to using delay tactics about Kanu's health, asking him to be flown abroad, to organizing protest, etc. All these wasted efforts would have been used to open and close your defense a long time.

Sensible Nigerians are beginning to wake up. Like she said, hold your political leaders collecting this fat allocations by the neck. At a time in history when the fortunes of the states have improved, only election losers will focus solely on Abuja to score cheap political points while their home states are allowed a free ride to embezzle their commonwealth. Benue State Governor recently commissioned a juice factory to add value to the local farmers, that's part of it. “Secondly, as an economist, as a banker, I was horrified that Nigeria had about six different exchange rates. If you want to import raw materials, you’ve got a rate. If you want to subscribe to a professional society abroad, you’ve got a rate.

“If you are going on pilgrimage, you’ve got a rate. No country with multiple exchange rates is ever going to succeed or attract investments from abroad because people want to be certain what the exchange rate will be, first when they’re investing, and second, when they’re repatriating
.

Again, no government had the courage to touch those exchange rates. Tinubu had the courage to remove them"

FG is paying subsidy on health, better a subsidy on health than the fraudulent fuel subsidy.
The northerners genuinely takes seriously every socio political welfare programs, whether locally funded or foreign funded. They own it believing it's their rights as citizens. The leaders, the media particularly sensitize the people at the grassroots to embrace these programs and take advantage of them. Unlike in the South, where most of these programs are being tagged "propaganda", "audio". Especially in the SE, where they had to beg the youths to enroll for NELFUND, and when they're lagging behind, they complain of being marginalized. The Army would have to beg them to enroll and when they lag behind in the top lists of military cadre, they complain of being marginalized.
I hope this initiative will not be sabotaged in the south. An example where Government declared free NIMC registration but the staffs were making people pay for it just because of greed.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu's Presidential Pardon: Drug-related offences enjoy highest percentage by TimeManager(m): 9:01am On Oct 12, 2025
It seems we are forgetting a very important part of this whole process. The President did not singlehandedly approve the pardon. A Presidential committee was inaugurated from across the spectrum and they came up with recommendations which were submitted to the council of state for approval.
Unfortunately, some people read only to comment and get likes but not to understand for future reference. This goes to show the level of our educational systems, producing graduates who are quick to talk but slow to understanding.

-Kiss the truth!

The decision followed the recommendations of the presidential advisory committee on the prerogative of mercy (PACPM), chaired by Lateef Fagbemi, attorney-general of the federation and minister of justice.

Other members of the committee include Akinlolu Olujinmi, Alkasum Abba, Nike Sidikat Ijaiya, Augustine Utsaha, and Onwusoro Maduka, the secretary.

Institutional representatives on the committee include officials from the ministry of special duties and inter-governmental affairs, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Nigerian Correctional Service, the National Human Rights Commission, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)
.

The report, presented to the council of state in Abuja, showed that 175 inmates were interviewed and 294 applications reviewed.

According to the report, “Eighty-two inmates were recommended for clemency, two for pardon, sixty-five for reduction of prison terms, and seven on death row for commutation to life imprisonment.”

It added that 15 ex-convicts were recommended for presidential pardon, including the late Ogoni Nine, while four others were proposed for posthumous national honours
.

The committee adopted criteria such as old age, terminal illness, long-term imprisonment, good conduct, and rehabilitation in its recommendations.

Well if you ask me, the combative spot would be where he said something along the lines of "keep * yourself, let the world know who you are" but way before it got there it was fair. Umahi like got pre-heated or something because of feeling Rufai was too small or something. The source of the heat has got to be before the interview took place because I didn't see the need to have responded to Rufai that way if indeed it was the case that he was "too small". There wasn't any need for him to pick offense there.
Coming on the show, the honourable minister was as calm as a cucumber. Rufai triggered him when he told the minister he reported him ( Rufai) to the President. The statement triggered the minister's response. Rufai should try separate professionalism from politics, he has had lots of heated moments with members of the opposition which he feels is giving him more fame and popularity. I already suggested you go watch the video, you'd have a better clarity.

PoliticsRe: Late Gen Vatsa’s Family Thanks Tinubu For Posthumous State Pardon by TimeManager(m): 6:04pm On Oct 11, 2025
President Tinubu does not only make tough decisions economically but also sociopolitically. The kind of which past Presidents ran away from for fear of political consequences. However, here comes a man with the balls of steel who has the will to take those decisions, correct the mistakes of the pasts and damn the consequences. The reason he's called the Jagaban.
Out of the most difficult decisions past Presidents ran away from, the four are:

1. Granting pardon to the late Ken Saro Wiwa and Ogoni nine and also granting them posthumous national awards.

2. Granting pardon to the Ogoni four and granting them posthumous national awards.

3. Granting pardon to Mamman Vasta, (this is even very much more difficult than you might think... every past President avoided this one like a plague)

4. Granting Humphrey Nwosu a national award after decades of pleading ( a very controversial decision that had generated heated debates in a decade)

These four decisions particularly had generated lots of political tensions and rifts in the system across the geopolitical zones. Surely, history will be kind to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for laying all the storms to rest and restored peace within the families and ethnic affiliations of those concerned.
