Business / Re: Seven Places (not Bank) Where You Will Get Loan Without Collateral In Nigeria by Timibabaj(m): 9:47am On Jul 07, 2021
Loan apps in Nigeria have been playing a major role in our lives lately especially when you consider what the current economy looks like these days.

An average working-class person in the country today desires a loan to solve one problem or the other, at least, once in 6 months. This is why the lending business is going to keep booming for a very long time.

Most of these lenders do not care about you. In fact, they hide a lot of things from you from the onset. All they want to do is to capture you in that desperate situation and take advantage of you.

By the time you're supposed to repay the loan you start getting deductions you never bargained for.

But did you know that there's a website where you can see EVERY LEGIT LOAN COMPANY. What this website does is that it will help you compare all the loan companies in Nigeria using the requirements you provide. And within 2 seconds, you'll see a list of companies that match exactly what you want.

Let's say, for instance, you earn 50k monthly. You know that it'll be difficult to find a legit company that'll be willing to grant you a loan without wrecking you with interest rates. But once you visit LoanSpot Africa, you can conveniently choose who you want to get a loan from.

Booktree:
Getting a loan in 2019 is very easy as long as you have a good credit score ( You are not owing any company or bank). You can visit CRC credit bureau to check your credit score. Before we continue, here are some things you need to have before you can get a quick loan from any company.

Bank Verification Number (BVN) : This is an eleven digit number that gives you a unique identity that can be verified across the Nigerian Banking Industry (not peculiar to one Bank). If you have registered for it, you can dial *565*0# on your phone to check yours or you can visit your bank to register for it. Your BVN is one of the most important thing to have before applying for a loan.

Mobile Number: You need to have an active mobile number preferably one that has been active for about 6 months and also connected to your BVN.

Call and Message History: Most companies that grants quick loans to users rely mostly on your message history to know the amount of money that will be loaned to you. One of the things they check most is the debit or credit alert from your bank. The higher the amount i.e the debit or credit alert, the higher the amount of money that will be loaned to you. If you don’t have any message history, your loan application might be denied (70% probability).

Bank account: i would have removed this but i decided to add it. you need a bank account to receive the loan when its approved. it can be yours or that of a friend.

Next we will be looking into some companies that are willing to give you a loan and at the end, i will tell you the best company. You know these companies are into the business of making more money by granting loans. Some of them charge a lot of interest on their loans while a few charge a reasonable amount

Major Companies that Grants Quick Loan
1). Palm Credit:

This is one of the companies i recommend. You have a 90% chance of getting a loan the first time you apply. They offer loans ranging from #2,000 to #100,000 which can be repaid within a period of 14 – 180 days depending on the amount you receive. One good thing about them is that the amount you are qualified to get can be increased instantly if you are willing to tell them more about yourself like uploading your drivers license, phone number, business details, family details etc. You can download their app from any app store or click on the link below to register immediately and get your first loan

Only three steps to Your loan: No paper work, no collateral
– Register
– Get Approval
– Disbursement to your bank account

2) KwikMoney

This is an instant loan service provided by banks, mobile network operators, and technology companies. Let me simplify it for you. This is a company that works together with banks and mobile network operators. If you have an old active sim, they can offer you a loan even without you requesting. This means they monitor transactions going on in your bank and sim. i never knew this company existed till i got one strange text from a strange number saying that i am qualified for a loan. i clicked on the link attached to the text message and within 5 minutes i got an alert. The only thing they request for is your phone number. This simply means that if you have an active SIM card of at least 6 months old, you are likely to get a loan. all you need to do is visit their website and apply. if you get a reply that you are not qualified, you can leave a comment below and i will assist you. They offer loans ranging from N5,000 to N200,000. The amount you will get starts from the least amount and rises to the top as long as you keep a good credit score.

Dial *561# to get started

3. FairMoney

This company grants you loan instantly as long as you have a BVN. All you have to do is download the Fairmoney app from any app store, fill in your details and they will decide on the amount that is good for you instantly. Kaboom! your money is ready. The have a downside too. their interest rate is high. You will be charged up to 30% interest for a 30 days loan. They are also flexible in the sense that the rate can be reduced if you decide to pay back early.

You can borrow between #1,500 – #150,000 for a period of 4 – 24 weeks. As i stated earlier, to get started, download the app from any app store, apply and get your money within 5 minutes. you can use this referral code: 2UN98

Click on the link below to see the two best companies that grants loan at the lowest interest rate

An unsecured loan is a loan that is issued and supported only by the borrower's creditworthiness, rather than by any type of collateral. An unsecured loan is one that is obtained without the use of property as collateral for the loan, and it is also called a signature loan or a personal loan.

To clear the air, unsecured loan providers are not specially cut out for salary earners as most claim.

The essence of this thread is to know how many there are, knowing full well that new unsecured loan providers are springing up with each passing. When sharing your experience, please include below detail;

1. Registration process
2. Website/app (loan provider's platform)
3. Loan approval timeline
4. Interest Rate, etc...

I'd be starting with mine.

PS: I don't work with any of these providers, neither am I an agent. My reviews are solely based on user experience.

Joy2Dwise:
I kept receiving pop-up messages from GTB on my mobile app stating that I was qualified to apply for loan but I kept ignoring them cus I knew that getting a loan is not as easy as that. I knew what I went through on few occasions when I had to take loans as small as 300k to sort out some immediate financial needs. It got to a point when I began to expect the bank to request the death certificate of my great grand father before they approve a loan amount that is not even up to my monthly earnings. The most embarrassing moment was when two close friends refused to sign guarantor forms because they claimed it was against their principle. I had to swallow my pride and go to a junior who eventually stood in as my guarantor at the end.

Out of curiousity, I clicked "accept'' just to see if it was real. Next message I got was that "your application has been accepted". To cut the long story short, I received an alert of about 1m.150k just few hours later and this sounded incredible. A scanned copy of the repayment plan was later emailed to me and when I did the calculation, I found out that the total percentage of interest is about 12% as against 22 - 26% which I was forced to cough out in previous loans I took from different banks in the past. This to me was a good deal even though I don't have a specific plan for it. Had to push it to my son's account while I wrap my head around what best to do with the money.

This instant loan and the attractive interest rate kept me wondering on the following:

1. Does it mean the banks now have so much money in their coffers to lend out to customers even without asking?
2. What is the reason for the low interest rate which to me is still far lower than what is obtainable?

I called my account officer to ascertain if I can invest it in FG bond but I wasn't impressed with the interest rate so I'm going to keep it in the bank pending on when I decide on what to do with it. Any good idea is however welcomed.

Business / Re: Easiest Method To Start Mini Importation In Nigeria 2020 by Timibabaj(m): 11:38am On Jul 09, 2020
Mini importation business is huge these days. There are now so many items you can buy cheap from countries like China and sell in Nigeria for very good profit. The opportunities are endless.

I came across this post. It discusses everything you need to know on how to start mini importation business in Nigeria.
eaglegist:
Mini Importation business is one of the fastest growing business you can get involved at convinency of your home, little Start up Capital and gives you the opportunity of attending to other business, which means you can do this business along with any other forms of business.

This post will be revealing all the secrets involved in Importing goods from china, UK, Asia and other countries. It will tell you all what you need for the the business, the sites to import those goods, how you will use free ship to transport the goods down to your home or shop, how to select quality products and other things you will need to be successful in ordering of goods from the foreign countries.

Mini importation business is one of the ways to make money online in Nigeria today, but a lot of people are yet to avail themselves to the possibilities that is involved in this online business.

The mini importation business is just an online small scale importation business model where a person with small capital can import goods from China at a low price and sell in the country at a higher price. It involves basically buying and selling. The only difference here is that you as the seller buy from outside Nigeria and then sell the goods in Nigeria. This if done right is highly profitable and lucrative and before you know it, you are on your way to a financially independence life.

The importation business is so cool that with less than ten thousand naira (#10,000), you can start a mini importation business and earn a handsome profit. The return on investments is mostly massive and it is so fun to engage in it.

In mini importation business, there is no need for a middleman or retailer, you get the goods directly to you from the manufacturer, and this is what makes the getting of goods very cheap for you.
Requirements to begin Mini Importation Business
If you want to do the mini importation business, you have to tick some basic requirements, this will set you in a pole position to avoid mistakes and errors and afford you the chance to enjoy your importation journey.

To begin importing, you will need the following in place already:

A valid home address
A naira MasterCard or visa ATM issued by any Nigerian bank of your choice
A startup importation capital {at least 10,000 naira}
The websites or online portals to do your cheap shopping.
A shipping company that will get your goods to you.
Knowledge of Mini importation business.

As you can see, the mini importation business does not really entails a lot of commitment from you, this is one of the reasons why it is one of the best online businesses you will ever venture in.
Most of the goods are very cheap so if you can imports the ones of high quality, your profit margin will really be mind-blowing.

A valid home address

This is important and it is basically where you stay. Most of the time, the postman or post office will usually call you to come to their office to collect your goods.
But the best thing you do is to input your valid home address, in the field provided when you are ordering for these items through your shipping company or you can always go to their office to claim your imported goods.

The reason is that your home address will determine the post office that your items will be sent to. It will be sent to the nearest post office to you.

A naira MasterCard or visa ATM issued by any Nigerian bank of your choice

The need to have a MasterCard or visa card is to make payment process very easy. Also, PAYPAL now accept Nigeria’s but you can only make payments.

Make sure you use new generational banks like ZENITH, GTbank, ECOBANK, DIAMOND BANK { this are cards I have personally tried to be working very well}. A startup mini importation capital {at least 10,000 naira}

This capital may look very small, but when I open your eyes to the prospects and benefits of goods you can shop for very cheap, you will understand why the profit margin is always very high.

The websites or online portals to do your cheap shopping.

Now you need the merchants website to carry out your shopping, there are many sites around, some that you must have heard off but I tell you.
In the mini importation terrain, there are series of secret websites that are only known to those in the trade.

eBay
Amazon
New Egg
AliExpress
Ever Buying
DH Gate
IP mart
Dino Direct
Cellular Country
Made In China
CellularCountry
Martview
DealExtreme
1688

A shipping company that will get your goods to you.

If you are interested in using free shipping then select free shipping to Nigeria option on top of the page when doing the search. The problem of free shipping is that it takes too long to arrive; it can take 2 months.
How Profitable is the Mini Importation Business
The mini importation business is very profitable and like I stated before, the profit margin is really great and enticing.

There is a popular misconception that you need to start with a huge amount of money, all that is bullshit, you can even start with just 10,000 naira.

Let us run this mathematics, you get 10units of 5,000MaH power banks at the rate of 1,000naira per unit. Those power banks go for 5,000naira in Nigeria. Just do the simple arithmetic and see the profit potential already.
What You Should Note Before Starting Mini Importation Business
There are some important things to note before you begin your cheap mini importation business in Nigeria. You have to know the maneuvers and tactics to avoid stories that touch, Go for products with “FREE SHIPPING”

Most goods tend to cost you a fortune to send them down to Nigeria, but there is even a special package, here the sender gets the product to you in Nigeria for FREE!

The only downside here is that, the goods may take longer to get to you. You really have to be very patient with the sender.

The sellers use this as an opportunity to more buyers and they are usually sent through China mail air post or Hong Kong mail services TO YOUR STATED RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS HERE IN Nigeria.

Search for a great but cheap brand to import

There will be a huge number of products on the mini importation sites and portals, there will also be a lot of producers and sellers for a single product type. It is better to go from the cheapest products as this will increase your profit margin considerably.

Your transactions and money are safe

All the transactions on the mini importation sites I will list later are all secure and legitimate, they are covered by a service called escrow, which tend to offer full buyers protections.

Investment / Re: Is Farmcrowdy Truly Legitimate? by Timibabaj(m): 12:00am On Apr 29, 2020
For a comprehensive review on Farmcrowdy.
MathsChic:
Hello All,

I'm sure some of you know about Farmcrowdy already. It's a digital agricultural platform where farm sponsors are able to purchase farms and reap rewards of up to 15% in 5-6months after gestation. Their website is www.farmcrowdy.com. I wrote about them sometime ago.

Now, I have come questions or concerns I'd just like to raise.

I had a chat with their representative online regarding the nature of insurance they provide for invested money. According to them, all monies invested are insured by Leadway Insurance, so investors don't lose money. However, the nature of this insurance is not disclosed. I pressed the representative further and all I got in return was that "this has not happened before". On asking how they intend to cover the loss they'll incur if it does happen, I got no response. I couldn't even elicit a response how this insurance mechanism is structured and how they interpret losses, if they do incur one. Is a loss when they fail to make their desired, expected revenue, or when they make only an insufficient percentage?

Responses from the representative were standard copy-paste responses, with some even repeated for the same questions. I find this a great concern.

I don't know if anyone has heard of Theranos (an american bio-tech coy). They came onto the scene making promises which turned out false. But it took the investigative power of a diligent WSJ journalist to out them. Unfortunately, Nigeria is not such a country gifted with tech journalists who go the distance in their investigations, else wouldn't it be nice to have someone on their case?

I'd love to know what you think of this. We need to get the detail of that insurance with Leadway.

Business / Re: Marketing Research Companies In Nigeria. by Timibabaj(m): 10:41am On Jun 19, 2019
Workforce Group is a market research company in Nigeria helping multinationals take advantage of the ever-growing Nigerian business ecosystem.

akinniranye:
Market research isn't something you do as a one-off when you launch your business. Business conditions change continually, so your market research should be continuous as well. Otherwise you run the risk of making business decisions based on out-of-date information, which can lead to business failure.

The more you succeed, the more competitors notice - and react to - what you are doing. A market-leading offer one day may be no better than average a few months later.

Apparently loyal customers can be quick to find alternative suppliers who provide a better deal.

As products (and services) age, sales growth and profit margins get squeezed. Understanding where your products are in their lifecycles can help you work out how to maximise overall profitability. At the same time, you need to invest in innovation to build a stream of new, profitable products to market.

Information sources

Published information can provide useful insights into market conditions and trends. As a growing business, your own experience can be even more valuable.

You should be able to build up an in-depth picture of what customers want, how they behave and which of your marketing approaches work best.

Taking the time to talk to key customers pays off. Your suppliers and other business partners can be important sources of market information. You should encourage your employees to share what they know about customers and the market. Effective IT systems can also make it easier to share and analyse key information such as customers' purchasing behaviour and preferences.

You may want to carry out extra research as well - for example, to test customer reaction to a new product.

Webmasters / Re: Web Design Nigeria: 5 Reasons Why Your Business Must Have A Website by Timibabaj(m): 10:52am On Aug 03, 2018
Do you do website design training? I want to learn how to design websites
UGOANUMZ:
Hello there...

Are you looking to start a business or you've already started?

Have you ever thought about the importance of having a website for your business? If you haven't, I'll tell you.

I know you probably have a Facebook page, an Instagram page, or a Twitter account and now you're wondering... "Why should I still have a website when I have all these social media accounts?"

LOL.

Let me tell you something:

Social media accounts are great to have. No doubt.

But the fact that they're free for you to use make them VERY RISKY to depend on.

You remember the saying that goes like this: 'You should never put all your eggs in one basket'?

Putting faith on just social media accounts can TOTALLY RUIN your business. No jokes.

Just a few days ago, some Twitter users woke up one morning and realized they couldn't log into their Twitter accounts.

How shocking that must have been.

Some of those Twitter users had over 100k followers. Yes. One hundred thousand followers!

Imagine your Twitter account for your business with over ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND FOLLOWERS GONE.

Just like that. Gone with the wind.

An account you worked so hard day and night to build.

Someone on Twitter board wakes up and decides he or she wants to have some fun and then goes on to suspend accounts at random.

There have been so many cases also where Facebook closed down people's business accounts for no reason at all. Same with Instagram.

That is so ridiculous, really.

But then, you can't blame these social media sites for closing your account whenever they feel like.

After all, you're not paying them any money. Or are you?

This is why you must take control of your business.

DO NOT HANG THE LIFE OF YOUR BUSINESS ON JUST SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS.

If you're serious about making money from your business in this modern and tech age, then you must get a website.

Here's why you must get a website for your business:

1.) A website is the only space you can have online and be in total control of

You can never have total control of a social media account.

2.) If you have a business and don't have a website, you are losing great opportunities for that business

Research has shown that 5 times out of 10, the moment a client is about to do business with you, they'll go online and search to see if
you have a website.

3.) Having a website shows credibility

It makes your potential clients trust you more. Anyone can create multiple social media accounts and swindle people because they are
free to create.

Don't get me wrong. People still swindle with websites but it's not as rampant as with social media accounts.

4.) A website can be used to accomplish different marketing strategies to help your business grow

With the advancements in the digital world these days, there are no limits to what you can achieve with your website.

You can track who visits your website, and items they clicked on. These data will help you provide more value to your potential
customers.

5.) A website is the center of your business' or company's online presence

Not a social media account that can be yanked off anytime.

These are just a few reasons why you must get a website for your business. There are tons of other reasons.

At Digital Metrics, we design beautiful websites that look great on all screen sizes.

And you know the best part?

They are VERY AFFORDABLE.

We design to your specification... blogs, company websites, e-commerce websites, websites for schools, churches, online forums... You name it.

Politics / Buhari To Saraki: Don't Leave APC by Timibabaj(m): 3:51pm On Jul 20, 2018
So, the latest news now is that President Buhari has urged Saraki not to leave APC.

Buhari on Thursday met with Senate President Bukola Saraki, believed to be the arrowhead of the impending mass movement, and appealed to him to stay back in the party.

Saraki and other aggrieved top members of the APC massed in the reformed All Progressives Congress (rAPC), including Governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Samuel Ortom (Benue) and Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara) had met with the leaders of the PDP on Wednesday in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State, to consider the absorption of the rAPC.

Buhari is trying to make peace and that's a good thing. But do you think Saraki still have enough influence to still be useful to APC?

Buhari's government is doing well to give business owners an enabling environment
Babayero212:
Anambra Motors Manufacturing Company - ANAMMCO - had downsized in 2011 due to the unfavourable conditions but has recalled 200 of the staff that had been laid off when production was revived under the Buhari-led administration. This is a clear indication that the Buhari govt is really supportive and well directed.

The FG is partnering with ANAMMCO to train beneficiaries of N-Build, a sub-component of @npower_ng under the @NSIP_NG. FG is supporting ANAMMCO to train youths in Automobile services in a bid to revive apprenticeship culture of Nigerians and fill the gap in Automobile sector.
